I was finally able to make a start on a baby blanket for gorgeous mummy-to-be @leisha.jae yesterday and I'm loving the Caron Baby Cakes Frosted Pansies colourway so much! For some reason it reminds me of the Little Mermaid 🧜

March Temperature Blanket Update!

I got a little distracted by Animal Crossing: New Horizons for a couple days, but I managed to catch up on my rows last night just in time for the end of the month lol

I've been surprisingly good about keeping up with my temperature blanket so far but that probably won't last long 🤣

I decided to do a row of white between each of the months... That might not have been a smart choice considering some of the lighter colours almost look the same when they're next to each other 😅 Oh well, too late now!

Aside from the temperature blanket, I've also started on blankets for my parents.

Mum's (purple) is done in waffle stitch. I've never tried it before and absolutely love how thick and squishy it is! And dad's (blue) is done in another stitch I've never tried before but ended up loving; Apache tears.

Finally started (and got caught up on)  this year's temperature blanket! I call the colour palette "Tea & Roses" ☕🌹

I decided to make it about 110" wide this time (last year's was just a lapghan) so that it would be big enough to cover our king-sized bed... but I am quickly realising that I SEVERELY underestimated the amount of yarn I needed for a project that size! So I guess I'll be making another large order from LoveCrafts sooner than expected 😅

I forgot to post this at the start of the month and it's not the best picture (the cats wouldn't co-operate lol) but this is how my 2019 temperature blanket turned out!

I've also ordered the yarn for this year's blanket and I can't wait to start!
