Jesus’ To-Do List for Christmas

1. Write a thank you note to Blessed Virgin Mary for the whole giving birth thing. One time you forgot -- 1,263 years ago – and she has not let you forget about it.

2. Make sure to send the Deluxe Christmas Party Gift from Harry and David’s to the Angel Gabriel for his role in her impregnation.

3. Select members of the Heavenly Choir to rein in the organist at St. Peter’s Basilica, because he tends to get a little too excited during Christmas Eve Services. Sometimes, you swear to yourself, you can’t even hear the singing.

4. Inquire if Mariah Carey is available to sing “All I Want for Christmas is You” during communion; if not, perhaps Sufjan Stevens can sing “Star of Wonder.”

5. Meet with your siblings. First, get Rachel to convince Dad to not have Marilyn Monroe pop out of the birthday cake at your party this year. It was really embarrassing that one time. The Blessed Virgin Mary was not at all happy. Second, make sure that Scott and Joe, Jr. don’t invite any troublemakers, like they did in 1872. They brought all the wives of Henry VIII because they thought it would be funny. It was not funny.

6. Conference call with Pope Francis and members of the Curia to discuss themes for Christmas message. Remind them that you didn’t intervene with Genghis Khan, the Battle of Verdun, or “Godfather, Part III.” Enough is going on this year; 2020 is not the year for you to suddenly jump on the bandwagon of precedent-setting.

7. Meet with Legal and HR to review the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Lucifer regarding agreed-upon acts of sheer, wanton evil that will be allowed in a specified 72-hour time frame (Greenwich Mean Time) surrounding Christmas. You worry that Lucifer has better lawyers; he seems to beat yours every year. 8. Meet with “Miss Hathaway” to schedule drop-ins with Christmas carolers in 194 countries. They love it when you do that. NOTE: Remind her that you are never going back to Lichtenstein. 9. Set up a time to watch “Love, Actually” with your immediate family. Invite Ben Franklin, Mandela, Confucius, and Che; you want their takes on Jamie and Aurelia. Also invite Alan Rickman and ask him which of his fellow cast members he wants you to smite.

19. Renew resolve to eradicate the depiction of baby Jesus as the old Gerber Baby (you actually looked a lot more like the new Gerber Baby).

I think this is how Aurelia would dress if she had the same style as her husband. But that ain't gonna happen. She likes her clothes light, her hair long, and her feet bare so she can enjoy all the feelings of nature as she goes through the forest meadows surrounding her hidden home :)

However, her current way of dressing is like a mishmash of her husband's darker colored style but with the lightness of her faerie preferences.

It drives Alaric nuts that she is perpetually barefoot but he has learned to live with it.

Miss Aurelia received a small makeover. Since in the story of my gameplay, Aurelia is starting to get over the depression of the murder of her daughter which occurred 5 years ago so she’s starting to get back her zest for life. I thought to show that by how she’s slightly reinvented her wardrobe.

Thank you for this ask! I’ve been wanting to do this for a few days but have been a wee bit busy. For this one, I’ll talk about Aurelia :D

1. Aurelia was the first ever supernatural sim I’ve played with - that’s why she’s my profile pic on here. I got hooked on playing wacky supernatural simmies and have never gone back to my old milquetoast ways of playing. 

2. Aurelia is bright, energetic and excitable. She has an addiction to honey (it’s like alcohol to a faerie) and tends to baby talk to any plants she comes across. She never wears a pair of shoes either, and always goes barefoot despite the season. This drives Alaric nuts. 

3. Despite her excitable and happy personality, she shies away from others and tends to stay close to her family. As a part of the Fae, she is considered inferior to other supernatural beings. Faerie blood is used by the vampires as a way to allow them to walk in the sunlight. She was once imprisoned by a powerful vampire and was used as a personal blood bank until Alaric rescued her - that was how they met. After a short confrontation, Alaric subdued and left that vampire to be exposed to the sunlight - effectively killing the coven leader.

The body was left with a Permanence Charm at Dandelion’s End as a warning to those who would dare to avenge the fallen vampire. 

5. It’s a tiny detail, but after her daughter Lyria was killed, Aurelia’s depression caused her wings to turn black. Only recently (and with Alaric’s help) has she fully accepted her daughter’s death. As a result, her wings went back to their original bright white color. She still wears a black dress in remembrance, however.

I improved Aurelia’s potion area and move a few things around so everything can route smoothly. Believe it or not, despite this house being cluttered beyond belief there aren’t any objects that can’t be used! (except for a few bookcases)

The can enter and exit their forest home without a problem despite the jungle in the entryway :D
