Pairing: Wanda Maximoff x reader Warnings: Angst? Not a good ending but there will be a second part

You wanted to trust her. You really did. But everytime you looked at her all you saw and thought about was the betrayal.

It was the night of your 15th birthday. Pietro had always been faster then both of you so he went out to go gather some food while wanda did her best to clean up the old little apartment that some lady rent you all. You watched Wanda walk around and mutter to herself as she cleaned various things. You had offered to help her but she declined everytime saying “Its your birthday you need to rest.” 

When Pietro had gotten back he brought more food than you all needed. You questioned it but he brushed it off and you believed him not noticing the sad look the twins gave each other. The night was wonderful and you had the best birthday. Wanda your crush since you were little had even confessed and kissed you. You didnt think things could get any better. 

Later that night wanda dragged you to your shared room and you both made love to each other all night. She held you close and whispered how much she loved you into your ear while silent tears fell down her face.

The next morning when you woke up you were alone. You searched the whole house but couldn’t find the twins anywhere. And when you made it to the kitchen you found a single sticky note stuck to the fridge.

My Detka,

Im so sorry we did this. But me and Pietro had to leave. I am not allowed to tell you where due to reasons but just know were safe. 

We didn’t want to leave you but we had to. You don’t need to be brought into the life were going to be living. 

Last night was the best night of my life. I hope you know I meant it when I said I love you. 

Pietro made sure there was plenty of food in the fridge to last you about a week. And I arranged for someone to bring you food everyweek after. 

You’ll be okay. We are still looking after you. Just stay with the apartment. 

We’ll see each other again

You spent the day sobbing as you immediately threw the sticky note away and packed your stuff. You didn’t want to be in this apartment anymore. You felt disgusting and used. 

Once all your stuff was packed you immediately left. You had connections that would help you get out of this city and hopefully this country. 

Thats how you ended up joining the avengers. Your connection had gotten you a flight to America more specifically New York. Natasha Romanoff was the one that had brought you in.

She had caught you attempting to steal from her and when she went to confront you, you punched her. You both spent about 20 minutes fighting each other.

You weren’t sure what she saw in you but she brought you back to the avengers tower and you had quickly found your new home.

The battle of Ultron was when you saw the twins again. They were working with him and had powers. You remembering first seeing Wanda. The way her face went from shocked to angry when seeing you with them.

You were the first one that she used her magic on. She had made you relieve not only the day they left you but the night before and the day the bombs hit. Steve had to carry you onto the quinjet and sat you next to Natasha who was also out of it. 

When the battle was over and Pietro being dead Wanda had joined the avengers team. You stayed away from her as much as possible. She tried talking to you multiple times but you always would just walk away.

You refused the dinners she would make, refused to train with her, and even refused to go on missions with her. 

Thats what lead you here to being trapped up against a corner with Wanda looking angrily down at you. You refused to meet her eyes and instead looked at you hands.

“Y/n look at me!” she yelled as her hand hit the wall beside your head causing you to flinch. Noticing this she took a deep breath to calm herself. “Detka please. I just want to talk.” 

Slowly you moved your head up to look at her. “You left. You and Pietro left me. You left me alone.” You stated quietly as you looked at her. She frowned but nodded.

“I know we did. But we had someone looking after you. Did you not get the food?” She asked worriedly trying not to imagine you starving in that small apartment.

“I left. I couldn’t stay there after you had… I couldnt.” You looked away again not wanting to look at the witch anymore. 

Slowly she brought her hand up to your face and rubbed your cheek.

“Lyubov Im so sorry we left you. We should have stayed. I should have stayed. I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you. But please stop pushing me away.” You look back up at her with tears in your eyes. 

“Please just leave me alone” You begged the girl as the tears ran down your cheeks. “I can’t look at you without remembering that or when you put those memories back into my head. I can’t sleep at night knowing that you were okay with doing that to me. So please. Just leave me alone.” You quickly pushed past her as she was distracted and ran off to your room. You hopped she would listen to you.

Wanda on the other hand was devastated. How could you tell her to leave you alone? She loved you and she wanted to be with you. She knew you loved her to and she was going to do everything in her power to have you back. You were made for each other. She saw it when she touched the scepter. She saw the life you would both live together. You were hers.

Okay since the infinity war teaser trailer realesed I kept coming back to this scene with wanda and vision. Here’s what I want to point out and my thoughts about these two photos

1. From other set photos we know wanda and vision are together in a cafe being normal and have a low profile. And I’m sure they are talking about what’s about to happen and all of that stuff.

2. We seen photos of wanda fighting the dark order indicating of course they are coming after vision because he has one of the stones and she is trying to protect him because of course she loves him or have feelings

3. From wandas face looking back I can’t help but feel she is hopeless and terrified at the fact she knows vision will be killed and she knows that and I’m sure she is extremely scared because of course she lost her brother and she probably scared to lose him since he was there for her, he rescued her from when sokovia was falling, he tried to cook her a meal to make her feel better and also make her feel she isn’t alone with a power she still has yet to understand and he went to her and apologize during the airport scene in civil war. So again she is scared to lose someone she loves again

4. From what it seems like vision is held captive in a cell that I’m sure that makes him not use his powers because he could just go through it or I could be wrong and it’s just bars of a fence that he is leaning against because either he is hurt or the stone was removed you cant really tell from the angle he is positioned. In the video you see him lower is head as a sign of “I know my fate” or a sign of defeat. He knows he cannot run and hide since the stone gives off it’s own energy and it could be located quickly.

5. I strongly believe vision will be killed in front of her and she will lose control and go chaotic, I really hope because they’ve released characters that’ll be in infinity war that pietro will be revived and I hope that happens not to use her brother against her to give up vision but someone to guide her and be There for her when she loses vision.

Billy & Tommy were hard to come by, same with the “Pietro” but I own 90% of the WV ones, I just simply refused to buy the White Vision in all three forms lol.

My top ones would be Hulk vs Loki, Phil Coulson with Lola, and the same three grails you have.

My fave recents were the Black Panther artist series I bought, they’re so freaking cool!!!

Oh fuck I realized that Vision doesn’t remember anything before he died

All memory from AUO to infinity war is just GONE! So him seeing Peter and him calling Wanda sis

Vision robot mind can’t take it!

And seeing each episode is a reset just with new time period Vision will mostly likely just accept yeah Wanda has a brother that doesn’t even look like one from past. Until wanda magic slips up and Vision connects the dots again.

What if a peter tells Vision to stop wanda 👀 because none of it is real....

just realized the avengers worst fear visions induced by wanda in auo all were resolved (mostly) by the end of marvel’s phase 4;

-natasha finally found her place in the world. she grew up in a hostile environment and was told all the lives she destroyed were necessary. in almost every marvel movie prior to endgame she is seen struggling with her humanity and always feeling like she’s on the wrong side. in endgame she finally has a family, and a purpose when she sacrifices her life for the greater good. she also learns that it’s okay to fail, that you learn from your mistakes and strive to do what’s right

-steve finally got to be with peggy. he finally got that last dance with her. he was constantly struggling with being in a world that’s not at war anymore but he got to go back to his time and truly live

-thor saved asgard for the most part. because no he didn’t save asgard at the end of ragnarok, but he saved the people and as heimdall said, asgard is not a place, it’s a people. heimdall died all on his own, he sacrificed himself for the greater good so thor’s fear of killing everyone he loved didn’t actually come true. ultimately he realizes he is still worthy no matter what tragedies have happened, and looks forward to new beginnings.

-bruce learned control, became one with the hulk. he finally had a purpose after killing so many innocent people due to poor control, and he finally realized he can also do good as bruce banner. he sacrificed his own life so he could use the gauntlet, he literally created time travel for pete’s sake and helped bring millions back who disappeared in the snap. he found his purpose and learned from his mistakes

-and finally, tony. my man tony. he saved his friends. he saved the world. he spent so long running from the endgame and he did it. he saved the world and everyone he loved.

You didn't like the first Iron Man movie? Afghanistan Tony is peak Tony angst... And he's dying and pushing everyone away in IM2 - which is not the best offering in terms of execution but there are still plenty of good beats. Avengers movie Tony is more of a cardboard version of Tony especially in terms of the first movie, though he's somewhat better in AUO but the movie is a mess and no one acknowledges he was mindf*cked by Wanda except Fury.            [cont] I feel like some people and I'm not saying this is your case -  got into the MCU beginning with the first Avengers movie  or with Winter Soldier and they tend to ignore the character development in the first movie. But you can see that they haven't watched the movie and have only seen Tony in Civil War or the Avengers by the commentaries they make. On the other hand, there are alos the comics people who aren't into the MCU because it strays too far from the source material.             

…I feel like Ishould warn for Unpopular Opinions Time?

So I did get intoMCU through the first Avengers (though don’t ask me how—Ihated the movie. I did like Loki, I think he’s to blame). So then Iwatched the first IM, and it was … well, it was.And I watched IM2 and it was… well, it was, but I liked it a lot for Some Reason That Is AMystery And Has Nothing To Do With How Angsty Tony Was. IM1 isobjectively good, and I likeda lot of things about it, and also it’s the only movie where Iactually like Tony with Pepper, but idk, I wasn’tnot that emotional about it as a whole? (Though Tony shooting his ownreflection is Good Content).

AndI’ve actually always likedTony in AOU (though more intheory than in execution, lol)--keeping secrets, creating Ultronbecause he’s scared and wants to keep everyone safe (and thenightmare Wanda gave him was also Good Content). I’m not so muchhere for the oneliners (as @comicsohwhyohwhy is aware :P ).

Butlike, MCU Tony had never been myTony. I got into comics somehowand ohhhhhhhhh, itturned out 616 Tony wastailor-made for me. AND MCUTONY KEPT NOT BEING MY TONY. So very much not.

Andthen, you know, CACW happened, and suddenly MCU Tony wasmy Tony, and I love him, and THIS WAS NEVER MEANT TO HAPPEN. But Italked about it more at length here.

Andobviously the issue is that after SEEING HE’S MY TONY, I now startto see My Tony in all the pre-CACW content!!! It’s the worst! (IM3aside because that Does Not Exist). There are PAST FEELS THAT ARESUDDENLY RELEVANT??? With a lot of selective viewing, though, I stillcan’t rewatch any of the Avengers movies :P But I STARTED TO BEEMOTIONAL ABOUT IM1 TOO?? OH NO??? WHY????

...soI am not even sure what I’m answering anymore, haha, but here’smy brief history with MCU Tony angst. I see it now. It’s alwaysbeen there. I admit that. BUT ONLY CACW WAS PEAK TONY ANGSTENOUGH TO MAKE ME LOVE HIM, OKAY. CACW IS THE PRIME TONYCONTENT.
