so i got all my financial papers in order and called the mortgage lady to set up an appointment but then she wanted to do it over the phone. and i didn’t understand most of anything she said and it was just very frustrating

it honestly made me feel defensive sl for some reason because she asked me a couple times why i want to wait to buy a house. and like 1) scary 2)idk if i can afford it on my own which is why i called her to get a better idea of the numbers 3)idk where i want to live

idk i think i need to talk to my uncle again and see what he thinks. but even when he talks about finance stuff it literally just sounds like made up words. like it’s when you start a new fantasy book and you don’t understand why Storm is randomly capitalized. like i don’t understand the language. and then numbers get involved and make it even worse. and then i just feel dumb.

anyway that mental spiral has to stop now. i um also got my cosmere box! i didn’t practice packing for ireland but i did take the store tags off my suitcase and set the lock. tomorrow i’ll probably practice packing

i also cleaned a lot of junk out of my purse—i had a piece of copper piping?? idk why i think it’s from when my dad was fixing the hose outback a few months ago. also found a little bitty pocket knife and 40$ i had no idea about. also found my checkbook forgot i had one of those

and i bought a rain jacket and hopefully some nice pj pants with cargo pockets lol (the only things i think i needed to buy for ireland i’ll be able to tell more after i practice pack)

Sometimes I wish I HAD been abused as a kid because then at least I could have something to work on and improve that would make SENSE but I really just have some bullies and abandonment issues that I shouldn't still be torn up over and a self-victimizing complex that makes me hate myself which can't be fixed and dooms me to a broken cursed existence forever. So there's nothing to be done about it.
