This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write and for the past two years it has been the one thing I’ve been dreading. First and foremost, I want to thank you for your kind words and concerns. I took Audrey into the Veterinary ER because she was not eating or drinking, she continually threw up, had a huge accident in the house and then began to not be as alert as she normally is. They placed her in ICU because her kidneys had begun to fail and started to do all they could do. At 6:23am she went into cardiac arrest and they were not able to revive her. She’s now crossed rainbow bridge to be with no pain and can see all of her old friends - especially @mkp112a’s fur baby DJ whom she loved more than anyone in this world. I feel as if I’ve lost my own flesh and blood child. This has been the most anguish I’ve ever felt for the passing of a pet because I’ve had her almost half of my life and raised her from a week or two old. Your kindness honestly has helped me not feel as awful as I could. You don’t know how much it’s appreciated. Now, it’s time to start healing and know she’s no longer in pain. Goodbye baby girl.
