I have started looking into audio tracks and background music that can be played with my speech. Unfortunately, the files are not able to be uploaded to Tumblr as VLCs. 

Because the speech is quite serious and has a sense of urgency, it has been hard to find a track that compliment it without making the meaning of the speech get lost. I listened to the sample tracks online while my speech audio played in the background to get a sense of how it would go together. This made it much easier to pick out what isn’t working and what has potential to work.

So far, the tracks that are labelled corporate, calm, or inspiring have been better suited to this speech. I have also considered adding other sound effects like audience reactions or a rise and drop to signify urgency in some parts, but have yet to find appropriate sounds for it. It is quite hard to find audio for the speech, I’m not sure if its because I've never had to work with sounds before, or if its because its a political speech that is not associated with music, or would have music playing there.

The options labelled above are tracks that I’ve found which give this feeling when played with the speech. Option 2 makes it very dramatic and really gives the idea that this is an urgent and serious speech, but unfortunately, it may be too dramatic. It also doesn’t match with the speech where she says “ok boomer” because her tone changes here to a cheekier personality than the rest. So I would have to stop the music at this part, and play something else, or skew the tone of this part, which is not desired.

Code: GHOST

It all started when a number code flashed across the screen of the Batcomputer while Tim was working on a case.

Flashed across the screen several times to the point it made Tim think that someone somehow managed to hack into the Batcomputer. It was also a number code he was not familiar with at all. So Tim reported it back over their comms in hopes that maybe one of the others knew what the numbers meant. Because all he managed to figure out from it was that the number code was an alert on the Batcomputer, one that came with coordinates that lead into the middle of nowhere.

Tim was about to join the discussion Dick and Jason were having on it when Bruce silenced them all apruptly speaking up.

"Answer code 2 1 20, sent them to the coordinates attached. I will be in the cave in ETA3 and take over from there."

The sudden silence on their communication line spoke volumes especially when Tim new the numbers was a simply code for Bat. He still did what Bruce asked him to do but that didn't stop the questions running through Tim's mind. He watched on the screen of the Batcomputer how the moment he sent the code in return, Programs started like on autopilot. A map opening that contained nothing at first but then changed into a map of a whole good damn city. Tim could only gap at what was happening on the Batcomputer before Bruce appeared and pulled him away from his seat to take over himself.

Bruce without a beat of delay started to input more codes and apparently access codes too as more and more windows opened on the Batcomputer. Tim did not realise that with time Dick, Cass and Damian had joined him as they watched Bruce work away on the Batcomputer. At some point an audiotrack opened but all they could hear was only static. They thought Bruce was going to run it through one of the noise filtering programs.

But to the shock of them, Bruce suddenly triggered a hidden compartment on the console, causing it to flip over and reveal communication link build in a way non of them had ever seen before. It was silver with green accents and looked far... older and less sleek than any of the ones they used. It was clearly not designed to stay completely hidden if put into your ear.

They watched how he simply put that earpiece on and then replayed the audiotrack.

The batkids shared a look of confusion. Non of them sure what to make of the situation until suddenly Bruce stood up from the Batcomputer.

"Prepare for a rescue mission. Nightwing, Orphan and Robin will come with me, the rest of you will stay in Gotham." Was all the man said before storming of towards the Batplane.

"Bruce what is going on?!" Dick instead of going to prepare asked stoping the man before he could get away from them. "What is the meaning of that code? Aside from the fact that simply translated it means ghost."

Bruce eyed the batkids present for a moment before letting out a grunt. "Ghost is finally ready to join the family."

"Ghost?" Tim echoed confused, never having heard that alias for any of them.

"Father what do you mean, 'join the family'?" Damian chimed in clearly frowning with suspicion.

The man eyed them once more his eyes going over each of his children, it looked like he was contemplating telling them more for a moment before he stood to fully face them and let out a sigh. "Like Clark, I too have clone child."

There was a stunned silence. No one speaking up until Dick did. "How long...?"

"14 years ago"

The silence continued as they all did the mental math. Once more it was Dick who spoke up first, clearly stunned. "You had a clone since I was eleven and now is the first time I hear of that?! You never bothered telling any of us?!"

There was a long suffering sigh. "We got to Danny before he was aged up, he was a normal baby even if created in a laboratory, so it was best for him to grow up normally, with the league we arranged for him to be sent to selected family since I had my hands full with you and-"

"Danny?!" Dick cut in. "His name is Danny? Does he even know about us?"

"Dick." Bruce called out his tone warning. "Of course I kept an eye on Danny's life. And I did made contact with him when the time was appropriated considering some of the things that were happening for the boy as he grew up, however he is not aware that he is a clone and it will stay that way. He will get to know all of you once we finished this rescue mission."

Before Dick or any of the others could say anything more Bruce spoke up firmly again. "Get ready now, we do not have any more time. Anything else will be handled later."

Chasing Shadows part 1 speculation

New shortstory dropped, and it’s JUICY!

Super curious to see what’ll happen with this one, I feel like she’s gotta be tied to Kim’Dael/Bloodmoon Huntress, there’s a lot of tie-ins, just in the first part of the shortstory, and backed up by the titles of the audiotracks, confirming that the Bloodmoon Huntress storyline will likely take place in Scumport.

My wild theory is that Redfeather IS Kim’Dael, and she remembers Rayla, and is being so pointed with the comments very deliberately, to manipulate her into something. Probably not the case, but hey, speculating is fun, and Moon magic is all about those illusions.

The 15 years doesn’t quite fit, it’d be more like 8, since she last encountered Rayla (9-ish then, 16-17 during this shortstory)

Whatever that favor Rayla was asked to do at the end of part 1, sounds like bad news for her, and I do wonder whether that ends up being a catalyst for her returning to Katolis in some way. Callum is repeatedly on her mind, she PINES. And that’s an unanswered question from S4 I reeeeeally want an answer to: what made Rayla return, after two years away, when it wasn’t that she found Viren or any hint of him, I feel like SOMETHING would have triggered that change of heart.

My alternate theory is that Redfeather will befriend and mentor Rayla but eventually die, like mentors tend to, and Rayla tried to prevent it and failed, and that’s where the “you can’t save everyone” came from, from Rayla, in S4, that we also haven’t gotten an explanation for, because it felt like she was referring to something specific. And this could ALSO be the catalyst for Rayla returning to Callum.

I’m psyched for part 2! No idea if it’ll be up tomorrow or maybe next tuesday?

Explain the Method: Subliminal

Since I already mentioned subliminals, let's have a more in-depth talk about how they work and why they are so effective.

Subliminals or Subconscius Reprogramming. (I'm going to say subs for short) is rewriting negative or unwanted thoughts and patterns that are not allowing you to manifest (ex., manifestation isn't real, I feel like an idiot, etc.).

Subs are hidden messages inside of a relaxing and meditative type of audiotrack; it could be music too (I actually prefer that). The frightening thing is that only your subconscious can hear them.

How it works:

The idea is to listen to these special soundwaves, which allow your mind to tune into the receptive state. The submessages then begin to rewrite your subconscious mind, allowing you to manifest. There are different types of subliminal messages; I suggest you try some and find the one that is perfect for you. For example, I realy like the whisper subs because I can hear them all night long while sleeping because they are made to be "silent" without the headphones. Pure love for the subs and the subs creators

There is really not much to say; it is a really easy and effortless method, and you can find different types of subliminals on YouTube, Spotify, and literally anything else.

I think Bleach is just, so, emphasis on SO good.

Everything within it, I like.

The art style, the characters, the storyline, the plot, every thing.

When I told my friend who introduced me to anime, that I may start watching Bleach, he recommended strongly against it because it's slow and stuff.

But idk whyyyy I really had a strong feeling that I'll like it.

And, i don't read any description or watch any trailers because I want to not know anything priorly. So it really was just this feeling.

And I started watching it, and I ended up loving it.

Everything about this anime is just so beautiful.

It's something I truly love.

Every minute thing. Every small detail. Every character. The Bankai, shikai. Every damn thing.

It's so well thought, and so well written and so well crafted.

And with it's come back of The thousand year blood war arc. It has made me feel the feelings I carry for it continue.

The soundtrack, the animation

The personalities. The Captains, the fights. The looks of the characters when they're on a rampage/and a special mention to the Kenpachi fight because WOW.

The fight between Genryusai, the Bankai of Genryusai.

Oh my god.

It's absolutely thrilling, I could not blink my eyes.

It makes me stare, and appreciate it with awe.

I can watch it so many times, and still dicover so many things about the characters.

Specially the audiotracks. They're so perfect.

And they're not scared of showing bloodshed/idk why but it's just so.....thrilling? The way the deaths/attacks are so in detail, the cutting off of heads, the random holes in the body, the shoulder/body just gone....and it's somehow dark but not so disturbing, like the portrayal isn't super disturbing? Idk if you get that, but it's just perfectly balanced.

I love this anime.

And I love love love Ichigo Kurosaki.

He has such a distinct personality, and his vibe is jussttttt so (cool, happy, warm, kind, and so much more, makes my pupils go all big like a cat)

He's really just amazing.

I'll make a separate post for the Separation part after I complete it, this i wrote because I'm Re-watching the first part to remember the minor details before watching the second part and I'm just reminded of how much I love this anime. It's just really really good.

When it streams next summer I really want the Mario movie to have an alternate audiotrack like a director's commentary only it's the video game voicecast redubbing the whole movie. It was Rubius today, he had a small transphobic attitude that really hurt to see it was that natural. He was playing Spiderman 2 and in an area where an audio track of a podcast was playing, which the host of said podcast was nb. Rubius made a face when a gender neutral adjective was said (favorite being it, since the word is normally gendered favorito for male and favorita for female) and then went and turned off the ambiance audio options to stop listening to the podcast audiotrack

It hurt me a fucking lot since im agender that uses gn pronoums and neopeonoums, but the fact some brazilians were immediately attacked bc they voiced how that upset them as well immediately attacked a lot of people to being xenophobic saying we were being dramatic

De sjabloonvariabele ‘Aanbevolen tags’ is aan aangepaste sjablonen  toegevoegd zodat deze door ontwikkelaars van blogsjablonen kan worden gebruikt.

Op het web zijn de foutmeldingen die worden weergegeven wanneer een ongeldige URL in het ‘Bron’-veld van een bericht wordt ingevoerd nu duidelijker.

Op het web is de optie ‘Gekleurde tags inschakelen’ nu van toepassing op trending tags en op tags die zijn ingeschakeld (in het groen) in filters op het tabblad ‘Jouw tags’ van het dashboard.

In het ●●●-menu van een bericht op het web heet de optie ‘Archieven’ nu ‘Archieven bekijken’.

Een gloednieuwe Vragen & Antwoorden-pagina is beschikbaar op het web.

Blaze-berichten kunnen nu ook op andere plaatsen worden aangeboden waar al ‘klassieke’ advertenties stonden, zoals de tabbladen ‘Voor jou’ en ‘Jouw tags’ op het dashboard en in zoekresultaten en tagresultaten.

In het gedeelte Notities van een bericht worden reblogs met een opmerking niet langer van filters uitgesloten op basis van de aanwezigheid van opmerkingen.

In de mobiele apps krijg je nu een pushmelding wanneer een poll waaraan je hebt deelgenomen is afgelopen, zodat je de eindresultaten kunt bekijken.

We hebben te snel gehandeld met het inzetten van Blaze-berichten in verschillende secties en hebben daarom besloten ze uit de geïntegreerde blogweergave, uit de weergave van de permalink van het bericht en uit de pagina ‘Voorkeuren van medewerkers’ te verwijderen. Bedankt voor alle feedback!

Probleem opgelost waardoor links van berichten en blogs in aangepaste sjablonen (op het blognetwerk) in Tumblr werden geladen in plaats van je naar de betreffende pagina van de aangepaste sjabloon te leiden.

Op het web is de grafiek op de Activiteitenpagina, afhankelijk van de grootte van je scherm, nu smaller om te voorkomen dat bepaalde teksten op de x-as worden afgekapt.

De horizontale en verticale scrolbalken zijn van de aanmeldings-/registratiepagina verwijderd omdat ze niet langer nuttig waren.

Als de instelling voor het weergeven van communitylabels op het web is ingesteld op 'Vervagen', wordt er nu ook een ondoorzichtige filter op de notities van een reblog met een communitylabel weergegeven. 

Op het web is een bug verholpen waarbij de pagina moest worden vernieuwd als je de weergave van een blog meerdere keren achter elkaar wilde wijzigen.

Op het web geeft de titel van het tabblad dat in de browser wordt weergegeven nu correct de content weer die wordt weergegeven wanneer je het tabblad ‘Vandaag’ in de Verkenner-sectie raadpleegt wanneer je bent uitgelogd.

Op het web is een bug opgelost die kon leiden tot inconsistente ruimte tussen elementen op de instellingenpagina. Deze afwijking deed zich voor bij het bekijken van Tumblr met een webbrowser op een tablet (of op een computer met een browservenster dat was verkleind tot ongeveer de breedte van een tabletscherm).

Als je op het web rechtstreeks naar de permalink van een bericht met een communitylabel navigeert, tonen we nu een overlay over het bericht als je de instellingen voor communitylabels hebt ingesteld op ‘Verbergen’.

🚧  Nog mee bezig

Onze teams zijn op de hoogte van een bug die het afspelen van ingesloten video's van Vimeo verhindert en proberen de oorzaak te achterhalen.

Onze teams blijven vooruitgang boeken bij het achterhalen van de oorzaak van het automatisch afspelen van audiotracks van advertenties in de mobiele apps. Als je hier nog steeds hinder van ondervindt, neem dan contact op met ons ondersteuningsteam.

Binnenkort zijn er meer badges voor je blogs beschikbaar op TumblrMart!

In de volgende update van de iOS-app zal het weer mogelijk zijn om op een afbeelding in lightbox-modus in te zoomen door er twee keer op te tikken. Dezelfde verbetering is gepland voor de Android-app.

In de volgende update van de iOS-app wordt een bug verholpen waardoor VoiceOver de content van berichten niet kan lezen, met uitzondering van tags.
