„Rise up” najciekawszy, RYKHO aż trzy razy w TOP REMIX

Właśnie zakończyła się druga połowa Sierpnia 2021. Mamy więc okazję sprawdzić, który z premierowych remiksów wydanych w tym okresie został najlepiej oceniony przez naszych DJ’ów.  Zdecydowanie wygrała nowa wersja klasyka  „Rise up”, ale na uznanie zasługuje utwór mało znanego u nas RYKHO.

Powrót klasyka Yves Larock robi furorę od kiedy się pojawił. Kilka dni temu zadebiutował wysoko na Polish Dance Chart, a teraz wygrywa nasz plebiscyt na najciekawszy remiks. Z kolei otwór RYKHO umieścił aż trzy remiksy.

Przypomnijmy, że autorem remiksy jest doskonale nam znany i opisywany nie raz na naszym łamach Steff Da Campo. Właśnie ukazało się wideo (zamiast audio), na którym można zobaczyć obu panów.

Chcielibyśmy wyróżnić jeszcze jeden utwór, który umieścił aż trzy remiksy w poniższym Top 20. Na #2 Block & Crown remiks, którzy całkiem niedawno wygrali nasz plebiscyt z „Electrica Salsa„. Oto ten najnowszy.

RYKHO to pochodzący z Filipin kanadyjski producent u nas mało jeszcze znany. W 2019 roku wydał swój debiutancki singiel „Can’t Do Loving You”, który zajął 6. miejsce na liście pop w UK Music Week Club. W 2019 roku RYKHO dołączył do utalentowanego zespołu Audiofreaks, aby dalej rozwijać swoje brzmienie w dziedzinie tańca house. Po sukcesie „Can’t Do Loving You” i „Without You”.

Po sukcesie swoich pierwszych dwóch singli, natychmiast wrócił do pracy, łącząc siły z legendarnym Soulshakerem, by stworzyć „Whatcha Gonna Do” z bardzo udanymi remiksami. Przede wszystkim Block & Crown, ale też trio Soulshaker (#5) i Journey By A DJ (#11), został bardzo dobrze oceniony przez naszych DJ’ów.

Nasze rodzime produkcje tym razem nie dopisały, poza jedną. Oto Hardbass Adidas remix do znanego wam utwory Ekipa.

Tips & Tricks (Analog Sound)

Oggi vi sveliamo una delle nostre “armi segrete” utilizzate in fase di mix per dare colore ed ottenere alcune caratteristiche piacevoli tipiche del suono analogico all’interno di una DAW. Si tratta del “Decapitator” della casa americana Soundtoys, un saturatore a modello hardware che emula il suono delle console analogiche spinte al limite per aggiungere fatness, calore e sporcare piacevolmente i singoli suoni del vostro mix, dalla voce alle drums, dal basso alle tastiere. La sua interfaccia é molto intuitiva, ed oltre a darvi la possibilità di scegliere fra 5 diversi algoritmi basati su diverse macchine analogiche (STYLE) potrete aumentare o diminuire il gain e la distorsione del segnale (DRIVE) attenuare le frequenze non desiderate (LOW CUT /  HIGH CUT) inscurire o schiarire il suono (TONE), dosare il segnale naturale con il segnale saturato del Decapitator (MIX) e se ancora non vi basta e volete più distorsione c’è il tasto PUNISH! (don’t try this at home).

Tutto questo per darvi la buona notizia che oltre a poter scaricare la demo e testarlo personalmente fino al 14 Aprile il “Decapitator” è scontato del 50% sul sito Soundtoys (http://www.soundtoys.com)  e che se ancora non lo avete ve lo consiglio fortemente e No, non riceverò il free bundle della Soundtoys per questo post... :)
