Jour 31 - Nouvelle-Orléans

Un peu de mal à démarrer ce matin, plusieurs options de planning s'offraient à nous et nous n'arrivions pas à faire de choix 😅

Nous avons finalement opté pour une balade dans des quartiers que nous n'avions pas encore découverts.

On s'est arrêté dans le petit musée d'une association de préservation du patrimoine architectural, qui présente une exposition sur l'histoire de chaque quartier de la Nouvelle-Orléans.

Les échanges avec la guide se sont avérés très intéressants ! Elle nous a donné quelques recommandations pour notre programme du jour 😀

Passage par le quartier Central Business District pour rejoindre un petit café repéré par Antoine pour déjeuner : le Café Beignet. Comme son nom l'indique, les beignets sont leur spécialité, et ils sont très bons !

Nous arrivons ensuite au port, qui est plutôt industriel. Nous prenons un ferry pour traverser le Mississippi et découvrir la rive d'en face, vivement conseillée par la guide du matin.

Nous nous baladons dans le quartier d'Algiers Point jusqu'à ce que la pluie s'abatte sur nous 🌧️

Retour par le ferry dans le sens inverse et nous faisons une pause séchage au Café du Monde, autre institution de la Nouvelle-Orléans ☕️
