Hello! I found a fic on your blog not too long ago but now I can’t find it 😫 It was BakuDeku and Bakugou is a musician who performs in a coffee shop that Todoroki works in. Izuku moved to the town and made friends when he got there, and he recognized Bakugou when he performed one day. It was an Animal Crossing AU and I think it was finished. I went through the musician masterlist and tried searching through your blog, but I couldn’t find it. If you could help, I would be super thankful!

Izuku stared at the toy as if it would combust any second, then the spell was broken. There were sparkles dancing in his eyes as he grinned widely.

For the writer spotlights, my AO3 is MelanieBeth, the story I’m most proud of is Reshaping Destiny (since it’s my first and currently main WIP) and I love BakuDeku because of how meaningful their relationship is. I could go into a meta about it but there are plenty out there that describe what I feel. In short, I did fall for it because it’s the ultimate childhood friends to rivals to friends to lovers trope hahaha :)

Oh gosh, I’m a little confused because I don’t know if you mean like… Classical elements or like the elements on the periodic table. But I’m just gonna assume you’re not looking for a fic about Chemistry!

hiya there I'm looking for a series of fics but I can't find the titles or the author. It's pretty damn popular and I think the series is called standing in awe of death or something very similar and yet I can't find it? sos (ps i'm a big big fan of your work... y'all are heroes amongst this fandom) (another quick question- do you recommend fics with pairings such as tddk or kiribaku when bakudeku is the endgame?)

Hello! To answer your question, we definitely can recommend love triangle fics/fics where they have exes if you’d like! As long as the endgame is BakuDeku (or even a poly ship that includes the two), it’s in our jurisdiction. They are always tagged (”ex:ship name”). 

However, our default is to list fics that only feature BakuDeku (because, though we understand that there are a lot of multi-shippers, this is the BakuDeku Fic Library. We can’t assume that everyone’s fine with getting non-BakuDeku content, especially since a lot of BakuDeku fans have had their opinions of other ships soured solely because of an//tis), so unless it is stated in the request that they are looking for fics with or are fine with there being TodoDeku/KiriBaku in the fics as long as BakuDeku is the endgame, we will avoid adding them. There have also been request where them being with other people is a part of it (such as the Pining for each other while being with other people mini-list). 

Now, when it comes to searching, I don’t know if it’s the case with this fandom and its writers, but in the other fandoms I’ve been in, it had become an unspoken rule to tag the endgame & side ships as a relationship tag and the non-endgame/past pairings as a freeform tag. And that’s why when we search for fics, we narrow it down to fics that are only tagged as BakuDeku (but we don’t exclude ships that don’t involve one of them like Kiri/Kami, of course). That might explain why we have missed some fics, and if so, we are very sorry about that! We rely heavily on AO3′s search system, but it’s not perfect since they don’t enforce any rules on tagging, but at the same time, we have to trust it or else we would have to comb through uhhhhh
