There was a poll by dmc-questions-anon about which dmc character people would like to see become a villain. Dante won the vote and a few tags showed that they wanted to see an Angelo version of him. Funny enough, in my Split AU (Dante splitting his human/demon half), I changed the original funny reason as to why that happened into a way less fun reason, and this was the comic that would go about it. Wanted to continue it with more, but it's been months so I'll leave it with this.

Today's prompt for DMC week was Time Travel or AU, so I decided to come back to the concept of my DMC western AU I did a while back. (More about that under the cut.)

Remember? It all started with these silly guys!

The more I think about it, the more ideas I'm starting to have. Struggling bounty hunter Dante with an awful tendency to overstay his welcome at the local saloons? Confused and lost outlaw Vergil with a moral dilemma and identity crisis? Mundus, the biggest, baddest and most vile outlaw in the whole damn west? I think I'm onto something here... And I think I'm going to expand on it in the nearest future. So... prepare for a lot of possible loose moodboards and messy character concept sketches!
