It is July 16th.

A date known across this world and many more. A day forever marked in the memories of the Celestial bots. A sad day, an omen of struggles to come.

It is also the day a certain pair fully woke up. Deemed to be their date of “birth” if one were to say it so. The twins of the blood moon, though no longer at play, are honored on this day.

The day of the massacre.

That damned day.

The moon is up high, red shine illuminating the deck. A place of importance this was to the twins. A place where many others have agreed to meet.

The feral one starts, calm for once. Under their hood, white eyes look at the sky, pondering on the fate of them who shared their code. They approach a lamppost and place their offering, a giant scythe, for whatever hunts the twins may partake in the afterlife. They lower their head, uncharacteristically silent, and make their way back to the group.

It is a while before anyone else moves, though before long them who’ve retired approach. In truth they hadn’t wanted to come, at least not with the others. They hadn’t seen a point when all they shared was a name. They shake their head and look at the moon. Though not exactly the same, they supposed they still understood. At least the real ones could be at rest now, free of all the shackles and free of any pain. They place the copper dagger at the base, and turn back to the rest, for once their quietness not questioned by the fellow pairs.

The hunter and harvest moons stare up at the stars, hand in hand. They were next in line to pay respects. A basket of flower chains they’ve brought, orange, and pink, and white, they could not find any red. They place them around the lamppost, tying the strings so they wouldn’t fly away. They pause and take a look at the small memorial, wondering if without their family this would be them. They hold one another closer at the thought. They hope the flower smell could reach those separated by death and reunited once again, the not unpleasant smell was one they knew could help.

He took a step forward, then another. He hadn’t expected this to be so difficult, it was a struggle for him just to walk, but he couldn’t just not show up. Not again. Once reaching the lamppost he glances up at the sky, a memory quickly flashing by. He looks down again, trying to keep himself calm. A comforting hand rests on his shoulder, his friend had arrived as soon as he had called. Together they leave the plushie on the ground, the lone twin looking back once more, glad to know at least the other him was no longer alone.

The vampire walks up to the lamppost. They were the ones who came up with this event. Truth be told they hadn’t expected so many others to agree to it, it was meant as a small ceremony of sorts, though they supposed it was good in the end. To have so many others show their respect. They kneel and place down the charm they had prepared, a ‘good luck in the afterlife��� so they’ve read. They hoped the other them was doing well in hell, they knew how awful it could get down there.

They don’t know why they agreed to this, they really didn’t. The guy was awful, a murderer, a freak. But… it didn’t feel right for them to not show up. With unpracticed care, they wobble over to the memorial, a scarlet ribbon in their hands. They figured the originals would like that shade more than their preferred orange and wine. It took some time but they eventually managed to tie the ribbon around the post, their shared body stumbling back and nearly falling over thereafter. They went back to their place wondering if this is what Kaycee felt whenever she looked at them.

Both humans walk up at once. The older holding a bag close to their chest, a fitting sacrifice for their alternate selves they believed; the youngest had a necklace of a red stone they had found, they weren’t really sure what else they could’ve gotten. They both place their offerings at the same time, necklace on the base and cow’s head to the side. The older stood up and looked at the red sky. Such a pretty view it was, they were glad they could see it together, such luck they had had. Unfortunate the others couldn’t have a fraction of it, to be ripped apart like that was not something easily left behind. Though they were both dead now so perhaps it didn’t matter at all. The youngest stood up as well, talking out loud to themselves. They knew of the twin’s status at their deaths, so upsetting to think they’d had no one but themselves. It was small and they couldn’t answer anymore, but they had still offered a place in their family’s home, they knew for sure they’d leave an open space for them at dinner today.

Death itself was there, or at least one of them. The butterfly god had agreed to let its new soul out, to mourn or grieve or whatever they were busy at. The young god and their still mortal twin approach the place for gifts, still in sync despite the many differences developed. They place the flower down, the mortal tying the previously left necklace around the vase’s mouth. They both look back at the moon and stars, slightly at peace at seeing what will be. This is their future, perhaps not exact, but very close to it. A soul destined to death, and a pair to never separate.

They were last in line, and last arrived, recent arrivals to the group over all. To find so many others with the same affliction had been both surprising and sad, even more when learning of their brother’s reputation. Still, the new twins step forth, moral support sun at their side. They knew little of these alternates, just that they were villains and rejoiced in death, and they loved one another dearly to an immeasurable extent. Such a duality hurt their brain, but they figured they’d still pay their respects. A black cloak in their hands, one of the many they had, a perfect tool for sneaking around in the dark, they figured it’s something the dead killers would like. They step back after placing it down, their brother behind them, and all three let their thoughts wander to what in their future might happen.

Once all were done there was silence. No one really had anything to say, all of them holding their own thoughts over the death of this version of them. And one by one, each pair left, returning to their worlds and their daily lives. Some came home to celebrations of their own, some to quiet halls, some to rotten bark. But in the end, whether better or worse, they all arrived to their friends and family, and, if only for one night, let themselves appreciate what they had, what they could’ve lost.

May the twins find mayhem in the afterlife, may they burn in hell side by side. Happy birthday Bloodmoon,

Hi! Uh I just recently found d out about you and I was wondering of you could explain to me what you write? I'm struggling to understand based on the master post and was wondering if you could explain a bit more about the TSAMS stories you write to me?

My poor masterpost is so outdated (just like my pinned).

I have three types of content to be honest when it comes to writing.

We have my canon writings. My silly little character and story analyses for the canon shows (TSAMS, LAES, EAPS). I do a lot of deep-dive psychology and analysis and that's honestly what I'm most known for. Nothing about it is based off of headcanons or AUs or any of my personal writings, it's all true to the show and what is going on with the plot and characterization. I'm trying to get caught up on my other stuff so I can start uploading those analyses to tumblr again, and not just hoarding it in the show's official discord.

On my SFW archive I have a fic called Errors in Resentment that's about a queer-platonic relationship between Ruin and Eclipse. It's a really sweet, wholesome fic that's about family dynamics and non-romantic affection/love/care. Other fics planned for the SFW archive is a Solar and Nexus familial oneshot, Twisted Celstials, and the silly little BearCode fic.

On my NSFW archive I've got a few handfuls of random oneshots and then my main series Highly Unconventional, which is focused on Sun and Bloodmoon, but also healing from past abuse and recent trauma. Aside from the obvious shipping part, it's heavily about familial healing and learning how to be self-reliant after getting out of a codependent relationship. It deals with a lot of psychological themes, and a good amount of just pure fluff to make up for the awful angst we put the readers through. And then there's A Gilded Cage, which is currently up, and really fucking dark and vile and we have fun with it. Don't recommend reading unless you have a strong stomach. Other fics planned for the NSFW archive is a few more oneshots with different pairings, Obsession, R E S E T, potentially the two ruin/old moon aus, Hunger Games AU, and Sinker AU. These vary vastly in content and dynamics, and when they come out I strongly recommend reading through the whole tag list because of that.

And yeah. I write all sorts of things, and I tag all of my posts appropriately so you can just filter out any content you don't wanna see/aren't interested in. I also do art!

I should get myself back into thinking about the Wolf au again lmao. Time for a ramble.

One of my current biggest writing issues with the Mizuena story is my characterization of Ena. Her role is the frustrated failed heir who now searches for some sort of purpose or comfort. That's the main reason why she ran away from home, to the village where she eventually met Mizuki.

The main problem I have is with her attitude in the village, it being disgruntlement about the family who keeps the inn she stays in, being overly polite because she's from the Shinonome family, so His daughter.

I think that attitude should be more mixed, she enjoys the kindness, but is aware about how superficial it is. They're not kind because it's her and all.

I should maybe take that more into consideration for the setting, maybe use the same route like the room of lies for Saki. The current imagery is more of a standing before the cliff, using leaving the country as the "wanting to disappear" of the au. (also using her inability to run for conflict, since... Mizurunner, Enastayer lmao)

Tbh I think I sadly have the tendency to depict Ena as just angy™ , so that's why it's been a challenge to get more complexity out of her.

Besides that there's also a problem with how I depict the Shinonome family in the public eye. They are one of the least favorite families by the people (the Asahinas,Tenmas and Hinomoris (pre bloodmoon) having allot of support), seen as closed off troubling people, who's only good is the art they bring. But I've been depicting too many people being kind to Ena for being a Shinonome, so that's an obvious issue.

The first family I gave enough reason, also mentioned how they were the only one in the town willing to help Ena (prolly need to lengthen that part though), but the second family is the one that bothers me. Presentation vise, they're a well of peasant family, which likely is more informed about the politics in Sekai. So I could kinda reason it just them being bootlickers, but I am certain they would've had more disdain towards Ena, some passive aggressive remarks or something. Atm the only mean thing they did was them being about to kill a kitten, which is bad obviously, but that isn't directed at Ena so not the bad I'm aiming for. I could use the cat (his name is Oliver btw) as some moral failing of Ena, like "Ooh, you care for this devilish creature uughhh" playing a bit more with the cat being similar to Mizuki :Vc

Outside of them I've been consistent with presenting the troubled position the Shinonomes have lmao. In Leo they stayed in the sidelines and in Diva Ena betrotted in Ans inn.

Okay I wanna hop on this early since I’m a much smaller creator and if I ever get big one day [[I doubt I will but I don’t care anyways this is just for fun for me personally]] I want to set some ground rules and shît about my characters and boundries for the so here we go.

1. No mischaracterization - I mean no miss characterization in a way of what happens in fandoms with characters for example the undertale au fandom, with underswap sans and Underfell sans and how they got twisted in such a way they basically aren’t the same characters they were writing to be/as. This means if you are going write anything about my characters please pay attention to the way I have written them and do your research on them first before writing anything, you may take your own creative freedoms and create head canons that is fine but please do not create a fanon Underfell sans situation.

2. Tags - Now when tagging any art work/ writing works please tag them appropriately for example non-nsfw may be tagged under the #dragonfell tag and any nsfw works I ask you please tag them under #DragoNSFellW so that way I do not have minors finding any provacative works or writings.

3. Shipping - you may ship my characters however you want but please do not ship characters who are siblings or related in any way by blood, for example: Bloodmoon, Abomination and destruction are all siblings please do not ship them together. Please also do not ship my Dragonfell sans [[Russel]] and his sibling DragonFell papyrus [[Pepper]]. Any shipping of characters who are related will be blocked by me personally without a word. Also, even though many of my characters are canonically in relationships you may put them on different relationships if you wish [[hell even create a love triangle or a poly relationship or something have fun with it but still my previous statements still stand.]] and absolutely no pêdôphilic relationships or you will be blocked as well.

4. Pronouns - please use proper pronouns when referring to my characters as many of them are lgbtq+ so my trans characters, nb characters, gender-fluid etc. are to be referred by their given pronouns. And homophobia, transphobia will not be tolerated and blocked [[side not this also counts for racists, Nâžîs and anyone else problematic will also be blocked]]

5. Interpretations - you may make any headcanons you want about my characters [[yes even nsfw ones if you so please just respect previous boundaries]] and do not harass people for their adaptations of my characters, all of them can be as inclusive as you want and you may add whatever representation you want to them please just stick to my first boundarie on this list.

Random Fandom Questions Oh My

A - Ships that you currently like a lot. (They don’t have to be OTPs because not everyone has OTPs.) Friendships, pairings, threesomes, etc. are allowed.

Currently the other ships I like right now are Human Bill Cipher and Dipper (a big guilty pleasure). If there are any Billdip shippers reading this may I humbly recommend Defining Bill Cipher, cause it’s 100% fantastic with plot, characterization, and some uh, heated moments if ya get what I mean. 

I always enjoy Frisk x Sans from Undertale, though I’ve been lagging behind on fanfics. I also like Sans and Toriel (which honestly, I like Frisk and Sans better for fanfics, but I’d want Sans and Toriel to be canon), and Frisk and Asriel are super cute too.

I’ve started reading Owari no Seraph (like, I think I’m only like ch 5), and I already knew about Mika x Yuu long before I ever started reading so I’m absolutely shipping them right now A++

I also ship Gon and Killua from Hunter x Hunter, though I don’t read a lot of fanfics for them. I just kinda annoy my friend with it when we watch the show XD

B - A pairing–platonic, romantic or sexual–that you initially didn’t consider, but someone changed your mind.

C - A ship you have never liked and probably never will.

Ciel and Sebastian from Black Butler. And it’s weird cause like, they are absolutely ripe for shipping and there are plenty of other ships in like, nearly the same position I like but just. He doesn’t love-love Ciel man. He don’t even friendship-love him. Sebastian wants to eat his soul like literally and that’s it he’s just food. For whatever reason I just can’t get into that pairing. Please just let Ciel be with Elizabeth she’s such a cutie and let them be happy forever on okay good okay

D - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t.

Ichigo and Masaya from Tokyo Mew Mew. I am 100% a Kisshu x Ichigo shipper and I know Ichigo x Masaya is like, oddly, one of the healthiest relationships you could have in an anime and Masaya would be a boy I’d fall head-over-heels for myself if he was real like honestly everything about him is basically perfect but I just. He’s so boring. He’s a really boring character to watch. And he gets more interesting near the end of the show, but it was just kinda too little too late, yanno? If they’d put more hints at the darker side of his wonderful personality then I’d probably would have shipped them, but I saw Kishigo first and that’s who I glommed onto srry

E - Have you added anything cracky/hilarious to your fandom? If so, what?

 I don’t contribute anything to society let alone a fandom XD

  F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?

 I mean, that’s under the idea I’m actually in a fandom? Do I have to do something to be in a fandom? Can I just enjoy content? Does that count? If it do then I’ve been in the Tokyo Mew Mew fandom for like, 10 years or more. It’s like 99% dead so it’s not like I’ve searched up anything recently, but believe me if it ever gets a good remake I will be there 100%

G - Have you ever had an OTP? If so, do you remember your first one? Who was in it?

 My first OTP back before I ever knew what an OTP was was Kisshu and Ichigo from Tokyo Mew Mew. And that fandom is super dead and I’ll probably never read a new good fanfic ever again but I’ll probably never let them go. I still consider them my OTP, and I’ve never found anyone that tops it XD They’re also completely toxic but just. Ah. I love them so much I just want them in a cute relationship plz

H - What is your favorite source text for fandom stuff (e.g., TV shows, movies, books, anime, Western animation, etc.)?

 Ennething. I guess anime is the easiest one to find though. I think I like Western animation better than anime, if only for comedy that hits home a little bit more, since I grew up in that culture and whatnot

I - Has Tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?

 Nah. I avoid the Discourse by never joining the conversation e v e r. And most of the time I don’t really follow fandom blogs specifically, just blogs that happen to post some fandom stuff, so I probably don’t see any sort of annoying people or awful environments or anything. I don’t understand how people can get so annoyed I feel like discourse is just so easy to avoid/ignore??? But maybe that’s just me

J - Name a fandom you didn’t think about until you saw it all over Tumblr. (You don’t have to care about it or follow it; it just has to be something that Tumblr made you aware of.)

 Voltron. I didn’t even know it existed until some of the funny blogs I follow started posting stuff about it. I don’t even know what Voltron’s about, other than the name sounded really familiar, like it’s an old anime being remade or something.

K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

 Peridot from Steven Universe. No wait, Rinna from Forest Born. Forest Born is one of my favorite books (from the Books of Bayern series by Shannon Hale, I highly recommend them). When I was younger I related to Rinna a lot (and I’m like, nothing like her now but that’s beside the point), and I loved her development her slow development towards not hating herself so much. It’s wonderful and steady and feels real

L - Say something genuinely nice about a character who isn’t one of your faves. (Characters you’re neutral about are fair game, as are characters you merely dislike. Characters that you absolutely loathe with the fire of ten thousand suns are exempt, as there is no point in giving yourself an aneurysm over a character that you hate.)

 Jackie from Star vs. is a really nice girl A+ girlfriend material and if I didn’t ship Marco and Star she’d be next up for the Marco ship train. I absolutely don’t hate her and she’s a fun and nice character, but sorry you can’t be Marco’s girlfriend the bloodmoon and also me said so

M - Name a character that you’d like to have for a friend.

 Isi from the Goose Girl. She already reminds me a lot of my friend, so maybe I’m a little biased, but she seems like an absolutely wonderful person to be friends with and I’d 100% love that. I’d also like Dasha from River Secrets and Enna from Enna Burning. Just. Any of the main girls from the Books of Bayern. I love them all

N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).

 Since I don’t have a main fandom, I’ll just choose one:

 From Steven Universe I want more funny comics, dumb memes, and Stevonnie anything. And that’s considering there’s already a shitton of all of that. There’s never enough

  O - Choose a song at random. Which ship or character does it remind you of?

 He’s Hurting Me by Maria Mena. And Kisshu x Ichigo, mostly because I’ve seen an AMV with them and that song XD

  Q - A fandom you’ve abandoned and why.

 Eh, considering I’m never an active part of any fandom, I can’t say I’ve abandoned anything. I’ll even go back to really old fandoms and try to find something I haven’t read before

R - Which friendship/platonic relationship is your favorite in fandom?

 Do Steven and Connie and Star and Marco count even though I ship them? Because I value their friendship just as much if not more than their shipping capabilities. If not then, Sailor Moon and the other sailor scouts from Sailor Moon (from the original anime). I just really like that they joke and roast and support each other. A lot of the episodes focus a lot on their random interactions and it’s a joy to watch.

S - Show us an example of your personal headcanon (prompts optional but encouraged)

 I have none honestly XD I’m not usually a person that gets into headcanons much. I ship plenty of people that aren’t together but I wouldn’t really call them headcanons, I dunno. Gon and Killua end up married. There, there’s your headcanon.

T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending?

 Kisshu returns to Earth for Whatever reason (any reason that means more battles and adventures is good), Ichigo ends up falling in love with him, Pudding and Tart end up together, Lettuce and Pie are together, Masaya is just fine and not dead, and everyone’s happy the end

 That’s the best I got XD

U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.

 Kisshu from Tokyo Mew Mew: Other than the fact he’s from my long-standing OTP, he’s just really fun to watch. He’s probably the reason I have an immediate attachment to character that are slightly crazy and shit tons of dangerous. He’s cheeky and flirty and gawd I luv it A+

 Peridot and Lapis from Steven Universe. I couldn’t choose really. Peridot is such a trash gremlin and Lapis is amazing when it’s not complete angst she is just Ultimate Emo Child.

 Willis from Awful Hospital (I highly recommend this comic by the way. It’s weird and wonderful). So far he’s just the cutest little thing and I love watching him it’s great

  V - Which character do you relate to most?

 I used to relate to Rinna from Forest Born a whole bunch, especially when I was younger. Nowadays I relate much more to her older brother Razo from River Secrets. He’s self-concious, but always cracking jokes and always in the mood for eating. I think he’s hilarious and honestly I hope I can be as funny as him. He’s got a lot of talents he just never notices. I hope that gets to be me, too.

W - A trope which you are virtually certain to hate in any fandom.

 Characters with no personality. And I think this is mostly just in the otome and harem anime’s that this kind of thing is rampant, cause you gotta make a character that people can slip into but just. My god. I tried playing an otome once and I couldn’t even finish it it was so awful and infuriating. Watching Diabolik Lovers was so painful this girl just L E T everything happen she didn’t even try putting up a fight even when some dude GAVE HER A KNIFE TO STAB HER VAMPIRE WHATEVERS WITH. MY GOD. I hated everything I wanted to cry. And don’t even get me started on the manga Black Bird I hate it so much they just rinse repeat everything. ‘No love interest don’t do sexy things at me I don’t want it’ ‘I’m doing it as punishment for you doing/not doing Whatever’ ‘Noooo’ and then proceeds to just continue to love the assbag. Just stop oh my goooood

  X - A trope which you are almost certain to love in any fandom.

 Enemies to Lovers. Or enemies being in love in general. Or forbidden romances of any kind. Basically I want a shit ton of angst and a happy ending.

Y - What are your secondhand fandoms (i.e., fandoms you aren’t in personally but are tangentially familiar with because your friends/people on your dash are in them)?

 I know a little bit about Homestuck, which I tried to read once and got bored. I keep wanting to pick it back up but just… aaaah the beginning is so boring I can hardly tell what’s going on. And I hate the 1 panel thing. I’m sure it was good while it was being posted, but it just takes so long to load the next page. I need a multi-page version please.

 I also know a tad bit about Madoka Magic, which I’m not entirely sure how. I just kinda. Read stuff I came across, despite never being interested in the show myself.

 I haven’t been able to watch the Legend of Korra because I tear up anytime I see something about the old gang being old or dead like legit if I ever see Aang being all dead and spiritual and shit I will cry

 The Amazing World of Gumball is hilarious and I want more people to watch it

 I tried watching Bob’s Burger’s for just like, a funny show without a plot and I got bored eventually. Thankfully Gumball saved the day

 I think Ni no Kuni is an adorable game and I love their little definitely-not-Pokémon monsters and I’ll probably rant about who’s on my team one day

  I ship Link and Midna 100% but like, only the TP incarnation of Link. Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild and Spirit Tracks Link can be with Zelda. Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass Link can be with Tetra (specifically Tetra).

 Speaking of Tetra, why the flip flap SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN’T PLAYED WIND WAKER BUT LIKE, IT’S REALLY OLD AND HAS A REMAKE SO I GUESS THAT’S MOSTLY YOUR FAULT BEWAAAAAAAAAARE. ALSO THE BEGINNING OF BREATH OF THE WILD I GUESS? THOUGH IT’S NOT REALLY A BIG IMPORTANT SPOILER.

Bloodmoon in dresses collection, round 2!

You thought I was done? So did I, but! Inspiration came back! And so I will now kick off the second round of this blog’s Bloodmoon in dresses collection.

One thing to note is that there are new participants, Bloodmoons from other aus that I hadn’t thought of for a while until someone (*coughs* @achickennamedcheese) asked me how many Bloodmoons I have. They are all here though, and they look rather dashing.

Starting us off, Magical Bloodmoon; Harvest Moon and Sturgeon Moon.

They didn’t need to look too far to find their dress, they already had one! Sure it was a skirt and some cool clothes but it’d still work. On top of that they could flaunt their cool shape shifting powers and they cool shape shifting weapon, so why wouldn’t they go for it? Might as well upstage everyone else in this whole damn place

They are having a lot of fun with this.

Next up, someone who you guys might not recognize on account of me not drawing or talking about them in so long. God of Doom Bloodmoon; Adaptation.

Adaptation himself has absolutely zero control over how Morpho decides to present them, so they didn’t particularly care when the butterfly put them in a dress. He did care when the winged death bringer pushed him to the front and basically let them run around and do whatever. He might be a bit self conscious now, but who is he to deny some time to hangout with their twin and the many other versions of themselves that are in that place?

There’s not enough red in his opinion

Last newcomer! I present to you, the amnesiac twins; Ruby and Vermillion.

Unlike around 99.8% of Bloodmoons, Ruby and Vermillion aren’t very close. Waking up so suddenly with no knowledge of anything or anyone and then learning that there’s someone else in their head was a very bad first impression for one another about each other. They both differ on tastes and likes greatly and don’t have much to bond over besides their dislike for the old them. It comes as no surprise then that they’d have trouble choosing something to wear for this event. On one hand Ruby just grabbed whatever he could and called it a day, making Vermillion feel very bad at the asymmetry of it all; on the other Vermillion chose stuff that makes sense and forms a cohesive color palette on top of being comfy, but Ruby absolutely hates the textures.

We can only hope those two come to an understanding at some point.

And finally, to wrap up this post we have the second design for one of the swap Bloodmoons; Fang.

Fang didn’t know what to do for the second round. Fang could steal from the Sun-man again, but didn’t want to, Fang wanted to stay with the other Others. So Fang had to think about what to do that wouldn’t require to go outside. Fang remembered that together with Scythe they usually had a combination of clothes that had a skirt, so Fang decided to wear the clothes the twins would wear together.

Sadly Fang cannot put the hood on

Starting off with the grief duo, Bloody and Harvest, and Original. You’ll get no context to this for some more time lol

And then Ruby and Vermillion but in a human form, cuz I think I wanted to map out their scars or something, they’re mostly from their time under Jigsaw’s control (which they don’t know much about) and from random scratches they got while hunting (which they also don’t know about)

And miscellaneous silliness from the main three and Original :3

And now we have Retired!Bloodmoon getting emotional over getting a flower, yes they ate it, no they didn’t know how else to deal with the emotions

And this is the not-awaited-at-all sequel to babysitter Retired!Bloodmoon babysitting the other Bloodmoons who got turned into Droplets (hi Tato!), they had to get some help though so they got Solar to help them, and along the way came KC

oh, and a totally canon thing that totally happened 100%, completely real (it isn’t, that was all a joke, though it’d be kinda cute if it were canon to them both)

Bloodmoon in dresses collection, round two!

And this ones come with lore!

Starting off with Jack’s friend, Original, the lone Bloodmoon.

Due to living in the theatre he has a lot of access to the costumes, which means he can just grab whatever he wants whenever he wants. He grabbed a tutu and painted it red because any other colors are lame, and drew some patterns on it, it was Jack’s idea to add the ribbons, cloak fluff, and leg warmers.

He doesn’t know why, but he really likes these clothes. They feel familiar.

I spent a “normal” amount of time thinking about this next pair.

Bloody and Harvest aren’t ones to change their clothing a lot, but while they were walking around town they saw something that had a cool pattern that they both liked. This is something that rarely ever happens, their clothing tastes are extremely different, so obviously, they had to do something about it. It was later that they realized the cloth they saw was actually a skirt, and they were saddened by this fact for all of five seconds before realizing that it was actually a good thing, they could just wear it over what they were wearing already!

They really don’t look like it, but they’re actually kinda fine with this whole event (even if they really only have one thing to wear)

And the last one for today, Fang.

Fang wanted to participate because Scythe was participating and seemingly having fun, but Fang didn’t know where to get the clothes from. And then Fang remembered that the Sun-Man (Sunset) had a lot of clothes in his room. So Fang stole the dress from the Sun-Man. Fang also saw some pretty flowers on the way back, so Fang took the flowers too. Scythe helped with the hat and ribbons

Bloodmoon in dresses collection, part 3!!!!

Hi ho fellow humans! (Please get the reference please get the reference please get the reference ple—)

It is I, the art guy, and I have brought more Bloodmoon in dresses. The missing three from our group of 11. Enjoy the drawings and enjoy the lore

These are a two in one, but they aren’t one another’s Other. These are the first Bloodmoon Original, Dagger; and Harvest Celestial’s Other, Hunter. They aren’t particularly enjoying the event. They are both just putting in the effort because of their twins, whether their Other wants to match clothes or they just want to annoy them with the asymmetry all Originals exhibit with their fashion tastes. Whatever their motivator might be, their respective siblings are having a blast! What more could they ask for?

Dagger got the wrong size dress, it’s a bit too big for him. Hunter actually kinda likes the high heels, he might keep them.

This one I got inspired for because it’s June, so Pride Month.

Scythe was originally gonna wear something else, but while she was working on it their twin arrived with a stolen dress and a bunch of flowers. She helped Fang with it seeing as they didn’t exactly understand clothes very well (neither of them did). Fang was very happy with the result and in turn decided to help Scythe as well. They had a vague idea of something to wear and told her sibling so. Both twins quickly got to work and managed to throw something together at the last moment.

It’s rather simple, but scythe enjoyed putting it together with her Other.

(Not really, they just encouraged me and I took it as a challenge)

What exactly am I talking about? Why the ‘putting Bloodmoon on dresses’ thing of course!

Buuut, because I cannot just draw silly stuff without overly thinking about the context and what would happen to get the drawing I make, and because I’d like to have more than just a disgruntled Bloodmoon changing outfits over and over, I decided to draw every Bloodmoon I have ever written (to date) in a skirt or dress or something. This includes the three pairs I usually draw, the two from that one shot//the one au with copies of everyone (but Sun), and the lone Bloodmoon that’s friends with Jack. (And they all have names, because of course they do)

But why are they doing this? I don’t know actually. I can see Harvest Celestial and Scythe having started it and then the other adaptations joining in, and then all of them participating. Or maybe they just want to steal Sun’s style. Or maybe they all lost a bet. Or something

Anyways! The first drawings!

Starting with… uhm, I haven’t named them yet actually (ok that’s a lie, I’m just not really ready to say their name out loud yet because it’s so stupid) for reference, they are basically my take on Bloodmoon I’s Adaptation (OG Bloodmoon AI 2, the one voiced by Reed)

Next up— I wanted to draw the miniskirt from the reference images I was given, problem was I didn’t know which Bloodmoon could wear that and not be extremely uncomfortable by it. The answer to the problem was fairly easy, Harvest’s Bloodmoon Celestial, the queen herself.

And then the character design Gods cursed me with a vision and uh… this happened

And now we got a paired drawing! Two Bloodmoons that go together, Rabies and Bleed aka: my take on Bloodmoon II. This is where I stopped looking at references and just drew what I thought looked nice

Bleed isn’t particularly keen on participating, just putting in the bare minimum. Rabies is having ✨a time✨, he’s having ✨fun✨ with this (and yes, those are earrings on his hood, they don’t have ears)

Bloodmoon in dresses, first main work

A drawing I’ve been working on for a while now. It was tedious, I hate drawing lace, and I am absolute garbage at drawing flowers, let alone floral patters, LET ALONE EMBROIDERED FLORAL PATTERNS

Still, this looks cool, and I’m proud of it. If anyone recognizes the style of dress, can we be friends? (And can you tell me what it’s called? I wanna say China Poblana, but I’m pretty sure it’s not the same style)

Lore preface-

Bloodmoon I is a hyperactive menace. They run around the Daycare and cause mayhem, they are small and sneaky, yet they somehow remain the loudest animatronic whenever they’re around. It was Lun’s idea to stuff them in this dress, not only because it matched the twin’s aesthetic, but also because they had a point to prove here. In such a big thing, would Bloodmoon’s abilities be hindered? He alongside the other Lunars sought to test that out. Bloodmoon doesn’t quite understand the purpose of this, the fabric is annoying and it gets in the way of them crawling around, they actually have to walk normally! But once they got used to the feeling, it wasn’t that bad, it actually was rather fun to play with the skirt! Who knows, maybe they could even dye the cloth red with the blood of their victims if they get enough practice.

I’ve only known MB for a couple minutes, but if anything happened to them I’d kill everyone in my vicinity and then myself (joking, I’m joking, I just got very attached to them very quickly—). And their father is another Bloodmoon? Interesting.
