Ti'lear, recently promoted to second lieutenant, is absolutely terrified for his life. The reason being the enormous Aydahar Qusi that is towering above them, growling in all it's massive burnt orange feathery glory.

This, like most missions, was supposed to be a simple one. Go down to the uninhabited planet's surface and collect a sample of the indigenous neon blue life form that was an odd cross between humanity's tree and the soft luminescent blanket bushes of his own home planet.

Well. They got the sample. Unfortunately, the Aydahar got to them before they could make it back to the shuttle. The creatures are massive monstrosities that never stop growing and can live for hundreds of years. The one they've encountered seems to be around 250 years old if the number of charcoal black horns are anything to go by. They greatly resemble the ancient dragons from human Chinese folklore, but are covered in feathers that can sharpen on command instead of scales. It's got 3 pairs of burning red eyes, all glaring down at them, and teeth longer than an Atraxion's tail. For reference Ti'lear is half the size of an Atraxion, and roughly a foot taller than your average adult human male. And they had stumbled over the Aydahar's nest. Which had hatching eggs in it.

They were so dead.

"Awww aren't you the cutest little thing I've ever seen."

To make matters worse, the 2 humans, a crew member and a scientist he hadn't personally met before now but had reason to believe were mates, that had accompanied them on this task were cooing over the newly hatched baby Aydahar, barely more than a ball of golden fluff with a piece of black eggshell still resting on it's head.

The two male humans were stroking it's little forehead and copying the little chirping noises it made. If there was one thing Ti'lear (and most of the galactic community) was impressed by, it was humanity's unique ability to copy sounds to almost perfection. Some were better at it than others and it seems the red-headed male (who he's pretty sure is called Daniel) was one of them.

The hatchling let out a little joyful shriek as Daniel's partner, a scientist with dyed crimson hair named Avery, scratched it under the chin. Daniel copied the noise happily, laughing at the little dragon's startled look.

There was a huff from above and Ti'lear returned his attention to the very present threat above. A threat which was staring down at them in what seemed to be bewilderment.

Avery seemed to notice as well, and nudged his mate with his elbow, whispering something in his ear. Ti'lear startled when Daniel suddenly made a series of chirps and warbles that the small Aydahar had made earlier.

The massive adult version above them let out a small confused rumble, before laying it's feathers flat and allowing them to de-sharpen. The dragon was standing down.

Daniel continued to make the little noises as Avery shepherd the rest of the team out of the nest and towards the direction of the shuttle. They gladly took the the chance as freedom and made their way as hurriedly and quietly as they could. Only once they had reached the spacecraft did the lieutenant turn back to the crimson-headed human.

"Why did you leave your partner back there?" He asked. Perhaps he should of questioned the man about what Daniel done to let them escape, but sue him, he cared about his crew.

"Oh, don't worry about it, he'll catch up in a bit." Avery beamed with pride. "Daniel can handle himself."

Daniel did, in fact, catch up in a bit. Carrying a golden feather the length of his forearm.

"Got a keepsake!" The man called with a grin waving it in the air. He swiftly climbed into the shuttle, and immediately went to his partner's side as if a magnet attracting to its counter balance. Though, he supposed, that is kind of what having a mate was like. Or so he had been informed.

"Alright lets get the ship in the air."

Πριν λίγα 24ωρα το τουρκικό πολεμικό ναυτικό προσπάθησε να κρύψει μια πυραυλάκατο, το ZIPKIN (P336), απέναντι απο την Σύμη στο Palamutbükü της Χερσονήσου της Κνιδού (Datca) για να παραμονεύει και να παρακολουθεί τα Ελληνικά πλοία. Όχι μόνο δεν τα κατάφεραν, αλλά έπεσε και πολύ γέλιο, καθώς τους πήραν χαμπάρι ακόμα και οι τουρίστες, οι οποίοι εξέλαβαν το Τουρκικό πολεμικό ως αξιοθέατο και το απαθανάτιζαν με τις φωτογραφικές μηχανές τους και τα κινητά τους και το ανέβαζαν στα social media. Το Πολεμικό μας Ναυτικό, βέβαια, είχε εντοπίσει νωρίτερα το Τουρκικό σκάφος και το παρακολουθούσε. Πληροφορίες από nassosblog
