On close inspection you might recognise this spot? Used in Gladiator,Lawrence of Arabia & million other films..see info on pics. Pic 8 I asked the guide aka Omar Sharif when does the rainy season come he said ‘now, this river should be 3-4meters high’..hardly a drop visible the Bedouin would normally come here to water...a true picture of climate change!!! A four hour trip over the Atlas Mountains to get there amid new roads being built and dust everywhere! Well worth it! I’ve just been reading SAS Brothers in Arms by Damien Lewis whilst being here...gives a real sense of their achievements 25 degrees in the day dropping to 6 at night feels incredibly cold when the sun drops! 🎩🙏🐫🐫🐫 #Morocco #aitbenhaddou #castle #gladiator #lawrenceofarabia #palmtrees #unitednations #moroccan #desert #moroccanarchitecture #atlasmountains (at Aït Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, Morocco) https://www.instagram.com/p/CnQ9kZuMhsJ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
