Ciao Ciao,

Atlas 🌐

Celeste

They told me I couldn’t touch the stars,

I was so scared that I covered up my scars

Sports were my supposed bloodline

But I just wanted to watch the stars shine

I pretended that glitter was stardust

Pretended to be Selene and sand was moondust

Water would someday become zero gravity

And growing in my chest a cavity

In school I learned humans were comprised of stardust

Not real stardust but the elements we trust.

Obviously there's oxygen and hydrogen

There's even carbon and nitrogen

So when I say I'm a star I am telling the truth

And this isn't something I can tell you in a diner booth.

They'll continue to tell me to sit down and shut up

I may be a delusional teen but I'm not raising my cup.

But long live the dreamers who live by an alias

Cheers to the kids who grew up to be spontaneous.

May everyone be their own ball of flame

For everyone will never be the exact same.

Translucent and bright, and don't go down without a fight.

This is a piece of a long series of stories I've been working on for a long time. It's not fanfiction, but I thought I'd share some snippets. This is the Della Rosa Chronicles, and this snippet is from the main story of the Chronicles, or as my docs say in its organizer Lilia and the Story of Città Della Rosa

The Foundation Piece

The story books of old tell of a tale where a young girl desperate to save her home, her people, and her lover. A girl whose sacrifice landed a crown of fire, once worn by Sole, on her head and gaining a new name, Aelia. They also tell of a war and a powerful warlock who fought in the war who bore a crest of water, once worn by Luna herself, Caspian. There also tells of a story of their rebirth and the two mages that held their power, Lilia and Avan, flame and tide, day and night.

The Celestial Islands, a land with 5 big islands and many other small ones. The deep crimson waves of the coast of Rosa, the main island of Celestial, crash onto the beach with red-stained sand and straight past the stunning sight there’s a road that leads to the amazing Città Della Rosa, there a young lady works in the small flower shop and the only place that grows the Strega Di Rosso also known as the rarest flower bush in the country of Celestial. On the 4th week of the year; every year, A young woman with bright red hair and deep blue eyes brings 4 pots to The Arch of Cuori D’oro and in every pot, there is a small Strega Di Rosso bush. As that week crawls on, people like to add memorial trinkets around the pots during the time they’re out. Most people put trinkets out for family and friends who died in boating accidents, but the lady puts them out for her family members who died from the curse given to the people of the Island by Oro. Girls with hair as red as the hair their goddess Sole had when she first appeared to the people, and eyes as blue as the ocean's old color, are the only ones allowed to grow the Strega Di Rosso along with being the only ones allowed to pray at the Tempio Del Sole Rosso. When the last war ended, Sole changed the ocean around Celestia red to ward off any who meant harm to her people. There was a special praying ritual to keep the curse’s numbers low that hadn’t been carried out since the elder was a little girl, there most of the group of girls who shared Sole’s characteristics were killed in cold blood by followers of Oro who had malicious intents for the people of Celestial. Only four of them survived, and two of the four would leave the island afraid of getting attacked again, leaving two left to raise the next generation of their kind on the island.

@wontshutupaboutocs , watch your back (joke), but seriously, I have an acquaintance (ex friend? Idk, they cut me off after graduation.) Who's character is getting a whole Arc of crazies in one of my creative works. My besties characters are also getting some crazy arcs, but not cause im mad at them, though. Just character development for world building reasons.

Casual reminder that if you have a friend who turns their friends onto characters and you spite said friend, they still have the right to torture the character that you're based on.
