I like to switch up my drinking habits. Outside of just drinking water, tea, veggie fruit juices, and kombucha, I drink coconut water and love to add it to my smoothies. Drinking coconut water has so many healing properties and health benefits. If you don't like the taste of coconut water by itself you can add it to your smoothies. All coconut waters are not created equal there are some who's nutritional value just doesn't hold up. 🔻Avoid ones that are heat pasteurized, made from concentrate, have additives like sugar, non-organic, and are GMO.🔻 ✨Best coconut water brands are: Suja, Juice Press, Vital Juice, Unoco, Harmless Harvest, Liquitera, Exotic Superfoods. #Repost @nikishabrunson with @repostapp ・・・ If you want to help burn belly fat there are a ton of healthy foods along with consistent exercise that will help do that. And honestly way too many to list. Just know that if you're eating anything healthy, you're most likely helping to burn belly fat. So I composed a list of foods to avoid. And being realistic avoid doesn't mean "never" it just means most of the time. I do treat myself to ice cream and junk food, a few times a month so I don't end up binging. But you need to know how your body stores fat and metabolizes it because everyone is different. Maybe I can eat 2 donuts in a month and it won't effect me the way another person could just look at it and gain weight. The good news is, there are a ton of yummy healthy alternatives out there. There are no shortcuts and it does take discipline so take it day to day. Your eating habits won't change over night. And remember that exercise, drinking a ton of water, and taking supplements is a must. I'll share more as time goes on. Happy Anniversary to my husband @carlbrunson. Thinking back to the time I met you 8 years ago and we were just friends working on music together…Lord knows I was a mess and had a ton of growing to do. But look at us now! Look at what God has done and is still doing! I’m blown away by how much you love me and have always put me before yourself. You’ve never made me cry (only tears of joy) and have always protected and taken care of my heart with a gentleness I’ve never known. I learn everyday what love is through our marriage. #Repost @urbanbushbabes with @repostapp Reminding myself after conversations with my husband @carlbrunson and my best friend @sanetrastew that I don't always have to be busy. We live in a world where society praises busyness and frowns on anyone living a slower paced and more balanced life, because busy means your grinding. I believe you miss out on enjoying the actual journey when you're always so focused on getting to the next goal and grinding all the time. You end up regretting it when you get older. I have to remind myself daily that I don't have to live like the world lives and it's ok to do things differently. I need my time with God and where I slow down and block out all the noise so I can hear from Him. I need time to enjoy my loved ones and to love on people who are less fortunate. I want to enjoy every moment of my journey, even the tough parts. I don't want to live for goals I've set for myself to then just set even more goals. Don't get me wrong, I'm not encouraging people to not set goals, plan, and not to put in the hard work. I'm encouraging myself and others not to make goals and grinding your idol (your whole life). We have to consciously prioritize and balance things out everyday. I'm so grateful for these reminders because it's so easy to get caught up in this fast paced world we live in. One of my favorite spots here in Austin is @JuicelandAustin! Last summer they had a monthly special smoothie called Cocochata and I fell in love, but unfortunately they stopped making it once the month was up. I was so bummed I knew I had to recreate it.
