cw: softcore, blasphemy/hierophilia/religion kink, mental changes, brainwashing/hypno
God i know when people usually think of religious corruption kink they think of a religious person who loses their faith which is good but i really love is when a non-believer is corrupted into religion.
You were just an atheist aimlessly wandering through life with no purpose, but then you met a priest. You and he would always end up debating about religion. You knew you were right, but he could talk circles around you, couldn't he? However, no matter how ruthlessly he would destroy what you thought were foolproof arguments, he would still use the same soft, honey-tongued tone. Always kind and polite, but he was one of those people who you couldn't just help but to love the way they speak. Charismatic and mesmerizing, but never forceful. A calming, trance like effect would come over you and for the first time in forever you would feel at peace.
You started attending mass just to hear him speak. Of course he would always pick you out of the crowd and, after mass, talk to you for hours on end about faith and you, you would do nothing but just listen to his sweet voice. It wasn't long before those suggestive words seeped into your brain and took root. Your budding beliefs were new and fragile, but he took the time to tend to the garden of your mind. To water and nurture the very seeds he planted deep into the recesses of your very soul. Those seeds turned to saplings which turned into branches that reached up to the sky in worship and a sturdy trunk of unwavering conviction that even the sharpest axes would struggle to cut down.
You desired more than to be a fervent parishioner now, you desperately wanted to become one of the same cloth he was. You yearned to bask in the ecstasy of worship like he does. Your mind was filled with nothing but the good faith which you wanted, no, needed to spread to the dissenters as you had once been. He changed you fundamentally and now it was your turn to sow seeds as he taught you to, as he always meant you to.

If two all-powerful deities (god) were in a fight who would win
Would there even be a winner??? Like for example if my oc Enak (The God of my little fictional world) was in a fistfight with Christianity’s God would there be a winner????? I genuinely want to know
Fuck it let’s put ‘em in a fighting cage and see who wins /j

folks im about to start talking about catholics the way we talk about ancient greeks, or like. did you know that catholics believe in three main deities, the father, son, and the holy spirit? there are many minor deities called "saints." some regions throw festivals for various saints every year.

It’s weird how a lot of really religious people claim that those who aren’t religious, hate their religion. In reality, a lot of us don’t hate religion, and it’s the religious people that hates us.

me when i’m 29 and i can’t read
@famouskoaladetective
i didn’t call you a TERF. in fact, my specific criticism of you was that you participated in calling trans women TERFs and then complained when people call transmascs TERFs. unless you can explain to me how “believing that trans men can benefit from male privilege” means i hate trans men, kindly stop literally fabricating shit up because i pointed out your blatant hypocrisy

{out of dalmasca} I'm sorry for getting next to nothing done, but I'm finally tired enough to sleep so I think I'm gonna call it. Plus the typos are increasing in frequency so I better realize my limits, haha. I have calmed down significantly from my earlier anxiety, though, so I'm optimistic that I'll get more done tomorrow night (12/20). For now, I sleep.
Side note, though... where're all my pagans at? It's almost yule and the winter solstice! Wooo! =)

Technically this doesn't insult their beliefs.
This could be interpreted as showing up overdressed or underdressed.

let's talk about Jesus
I'm a borderline atheist raised by a catholic family and I do really struggle religiously and have religious trauma due to wanting to make my parents proud so I devoured all of the church-lessons just to realize I have no true relationship with Jesus or the church, but this has been lingering in my head for a while, and I think I'm in love with the humanizing version of Jesus, more than I am with the god-like version that is all-powerful and does things for a reason and walks on water and turns water to wine.
I like the version of Him that I keep seeing all over TikTok. some people who have read the Bible mention His humor that can be a little witty and snarky. most importantly tho, I just love the idea of Him being HUMAN. I just ran into a TikTok (that encouraged me to write this) where it's a trope of "When that one character who doesn't care about dying realizes he's about to die and starts fearing death" and one comment put "JESUS?" and like YES. the utter empathy that I feel for this HUMAN is so deep and makes me have a deeper connection knowing that He had FEAR and probably had anxiety and nerves in this few moments of peace on that rock before He was betrayed. He CRIED. Omg and that one TikTok where they asked "Do you think Jesus, son of a carpenter, smelt the wood of the cross and briefly thought of home?" Like OMG YEAH. I mean He was HUMAN. He had memories and a childhood and actual real life human experiences. these things don't get talked about in my church. my whole life I've just been told to love and obey God/Jesus without even knowing who He was or what He was made from. besides, how could a casual human nobody ever love or be loved by a literal god? but I get it now. I get that He really can love all of us bc He WAS one of us, and part of me thinks He really does understand. I always thought of Jesus as some superiority figure, but the whole point of Him coming down here is to have that understanding with us, that "hey, believe it or not, but I actually DO understand" moment. just thinking about how he felt scared, happy, witty, and experienced real-life thoughts just makes me feel closer to Him than any prayer or church has ever.

Dear Christians, Catholics, Muslims, Baptists, and all y'all other religions listen up.
Don't act like your shit don't stink.
If your religion is openly harming people for have done something bad don't ignore it, don't deny it's happening and don't fucking act like your religion is perfect, all loving, harmless and beautiful because it's fucking not.
I'm sure there are parts that are beautiful and have a message of love somewhere in there but pretending your religion is blameless in all the bad things that have happened because of your religion and in the name of your god is idiotic.
No religion is all loving, harmless or all perfect so stop saying yours is.
One fucking thing I can promise you is there isn't a damn religion out there without blood on it specifically the blood of the innocent and you're a damn fool if you think your religion is the expectation.
