Mousekit was born the younger sister to Runningpaw, her brother becoming a warrior shortly before she was apprenticed. Her mentor was Thistleclaw, who was a highly looked upon warrior, and had previously mentored clan-favourite Tigerclaw. Mousepaw was a quiet, yet skilled and sometimes brutal apprentice, enjoying fights when she could get them. As an apprentice, Mousepaw became aunt to Sandkit. When Thistleclaw died, Mousepaw was reassigned to Brindleface, although the two never really bonded, Mousepaw having only a few moons of training left. Mousefur was granted her name shortly before being chosen to partake in the Sunningrocks battle, something she took pride in. Unfortunately, Mousefur was injured, as well as their deputy (and her brother-in-law) Redtail died in that battle. Despite their age difference, Mousefur and Runningwind were close, and Mousefur mourned when he was murdered. Mousefur trained Thornclaw and Spiderpaw.

She looks a lot more red and purple on tumblr than she does on my drawing tablet. She is supposed to have purple and red undertones, just not this intense lol. Obviously, I wanted her to look a lot like a mouse, hence the thin tail, small rounded ears, and the generally small size (although that's hard to see here). Her eyes are interesting, described as 'sunlit ice' in the books. Most interpret this as pale yellow or warm blue, but I had a specific look in mind. The base is pale indigo, with very intense golden irises, and dark purple pupils. (I use 'blue' to let myself give cats purple eyes lol)
