forgot what i meant to be posting about earlier. was watching a video from a catholic priest on youtube the other day and one of the points was like. should we pray for the devil. and what he said was that unlike us, angels have a fixed nature, and that from the beginning of time satan chose to be the way that he is. so he cannot be saved. and therefore there is no reason to pray for him. which is fucking crazzyyyyyyyy!!!!! first of all what the fuck do you mean he's evil because he has always been that way. if he can't change then he doesn't really have free will. if he was that way from the very beginning then that means god created him that way. and if he was resigned to be fucked up and evil forever and ever then what was all the time he spent Not being fucked up and evil :| to rebel you have to be a part of the system first... is this implying that lucifer was sitting around going man i can't wait to try and overthrow god someday once he does something that upsets me... and god being omnipotent just went yeah this is fine. not going to address this until you do something ill advised at which time i will Cast You Down and Damn You Forever. not giving you a pass on this one god you literally made that guy that way :| and frankly just because he isn't going to change isn't a reason to pray for someone i think. we can never have too much compassion and hope and if we can carry it for someone reprehensible then we can carry it for everyone. and we Should carry it for everyone. that's like... the central thing... this is how we get discrimination by turning off our good will once we deem something evil or irreparable... which is all to say that that specific take on lucifer is fascinating and fucked up and wrong. and doesn't matter cause i like that guy better than god anyway. so.

Tord

Tord's main two hobbies are Engineering/Tinkering and Working Out/Boxing.

He's always had an affinity for inventing things, ever since he was young. To him, science just always made sense. He has big visions for the technology of the future, and big plans to be the one that brings that change to the world.

If you were the same way, he'd silently adore it.

He'd give you full access to his garage/laboratory/workspace area. After a few months, he'd even clear off a space at his work desk for you.

Tord doesn't say it, but you can tell he's relieved to have someone who can actually understand his mad scientist ramblings. He'll seek you out every time he gets a new idea, or if one of his previous ideas has a new breakthrough.

Its honestly probably the most he ever talks to anybody.

You're the only one who ever gets to see his blueprints and formulas. He'll let you check his work, make corrections or suggestions with your favorite color ink pen. He'll take this to the grave, but at this point he seeks out your approval of them. Having you enjoy his work gives him so much serotonin.

As for his interest in physical fitness; that comes naturally with the territory - child soldier and all.

For the Reader that fits into my Eddsworld bubble, what most likely happens is that she expresses an interest in working out to Tord - who takes that as an invitation to involve her in his workouts.

He knows that he needs to start easy, so you start joining him on his morning jogs. It is... a process, for sure.

Tord gets up at what you call the "ass crack of dawn" (he couldn't tell if he was more offended or amused by that) and you weren't used to that.

He also had better stamina than you and you had to take frequent breathers during the jog. He would never keep going without you, though. The other three would kill him.

Tord makes sure you get plenty of water and a good breakfast after every jog. He gives you praise and words of affirmation in his own stoic, aloof way. It always makes you smile.

He'll only move you up to working out if you want to. He won't pressure you. But.. if you do say you want to, you'll open up the Army Leader floodgates. He can't help it, really.

When you wake up the next morning, he has a fully fleshed out workout routine listed for your body type and health goals.

If you react well to sternness, he'll pull out the Leader Voice if you're close to giving up in the middle of a set. (You don't ask, but you're very curious about why he's so good at it)

If you don't react well to it, then he's adaptable. As they say, you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. He'll shower you with praises, let you know you're doing such a good job for him. Sets incentives for you to finish the sets you're doing.

"Just a few more push-ups, and I'll make your favorite for breakfast." "If you can finish this, I'll buy you that cake you love." "Beat your record from last week, and I'll reward you with a kiss, Min lille soldat."

Ask him to teach you self defense, and he's ecstatic. One of the only things that's better than protecting you himself, is teaching you how to protect yourself. He knows that if he's the one who trains you, he won't have to worry that much about you being in danger when he isn't there.

Definitely isn't as tough as he is with his soldiers. You're not a soldier. He's not teaching you how to take down an enemy or die trying. You are his everything. His elsking. He is teaching you to defend yourself.

He has a little sparring mat set up in one corner of the garage. Its got some training dummies and a punching bag.

He'll start you off at the punching bag, making sure your form is correct, making sure you don't hurt yourself when you throw a punch. Once you get a handle on that, then he'll start sparring with you.

He goes easy on you, of course.

Unless you ask him not to.

Makes sure you know how to use basic self defense weapons, such as pepper spray or a taser.

However, once you get enough experience, he teaches you how to use a knife. Safely and properly, of course.

I can see him gifting you either one of his own knives from his collection, or getting you a brand new, custom knife. Either option is a big deal, with him. Cherish that thing with your life.

Tom

Tom, unlike Tord, is much more communicative about how happy your similar interests makes him.

He starts to rival Matt with how much he rambles to you.

This goes for either of Tom's two hobbies: Photography and Music.

Music is the most obvious one.

As I've said before, music is Tom's love language. Finding the words to express his feelings is hard for him, so he lets the music talk for him. (That might be one of the cheesiest things I've ever typed.)

He will make you so many playlists. It's not hard for him. He loves you in so many ways, he sees so many wonderful things about you. He'll make you 3 hour playlists about each one of those.

Also makes playlists about his favorite memories with you (see: She's Standing Outside the Bar with Me while I Smoke...).

He happily shares all of them to you. Sends you the link as soon as he finishes making the playlist. Once he knows you love music too, he has no shame about sharing his music taste.

Saves every single playlist you make for him. Listens to them all the time. He's listening to music in some way practically 24/7, so he has no shortage of time to enjoy every single playlist you've shared with him.

Probably has to fight back ugly tears the first time you ever made him a playlist. He loved how you got all shy and flustered as you presented it to him. Poor thing, you think he wouldn't like your music taste?

You could listen to songs that literally sound like garbage cans being smashed together in rapid succession, and he'd still love it - because its you.

He'd take you to his favorite record store for dates. It's one of his happy places, and he's practically buzzing with excitement to share it with you. He already knows where all the records of your favorite bands and genres are located, and drags you there like a child in a toy store. The two of you visit there frequently, to the point that the employees know you both by name.

You're the first one who gets to know when he learns a new song on his bass. I mean the moment he masters it, he's hunting you down like a blood hound with Susan in hand. (You don't mind, of course, you love hearing him play)

He will also, albeit extremely flustered about it, sing more often for you. Especially if you ask him to. How could he deny you?

No matter what instrument you play, he'll listen to you play it every day. Even the drums, or the banjo. To him, when its you, it's like an orchestra each time.

And if you sing? He's a goner. He'd demand you upload your singing to Sound Cloud, just so he can have your voice in his earbuds every day while he's at work.

More than once, he's fallen asleep listening to you sing. It's not his fault! He just loves you so much, its like you put him in a trance.

Ohhh and if you like the technical part of music? Like, the different meters and tempos and notes that make up music? Or if you know every single obscure fact about every single musician and band? He'd love it so much. You're such a little nerd and he thinks its so cute. Listens to you ramble about it with hearts in his eyes. Metaphorically.

Or if you write songs? He would beg you all pretty on his hands and knees to let him sing the songs that you write. If you agree, he's bonded to you for life. Never letting go of you.

And if you agree to sing or play music with him? That's practically a marriage proposal to him.

If you like photography, he's just as excited!

On days that you're not busy and he has a particularly exciting job booked, he'll let you tag along. (If the client asks, he says you're his assistant.)

Sends you all of his favorite pictures that he takes during work - though to be frank, he does that even if you're not interested in photography.

He has an album in his gallery full of the photos you send him. No matter how mundane; it could be a picture of Ringo just standing there, he'll still save it.

You are his main muse, he loves taking pictures of you. Has so many of them on his phone. If you tell him the same? That he is your muse and you have albums full of pictures of him? He's melted into the floor. He didn't think his heart could beat that fast.

Just like with music, he listens intently as you ramble about the technical side of photography. He'll even give you tips and suggestions on how to get better shots - only if you want them! He never wants to mansplain to you, or make you think you don't know what you're doing compared to him.

Happily does collaborative photo shoots with you anytime you ask. One of his favorite date ideas is traveling somewhere gorgeous, like a forest or mountain, or a nature filled park, and taking a walk with your cameras, both taking pictures of the different things you find together.

As a present, he'll get your favorite picture - be it landscape, animal, or a picture of the two of you - and get it printed on one of those cool metal prints, so that you can hang it on your wall.

Tom just loves you so much and getting to share his interests with you makes him unbelievably happy.

P E R S O N A L I T Y  

+ adaptable, protective, and caring  - stubborn, arrogant, and impatient

this girl is always ready for anything! no matter the situation, she knows how to work her way around it and make it work in her favour. moving around so much as a child, the girl HAD TO learn to adapt, she wouldn’t have survived if she didn’t. there were some pretty terrible homes but she always made it through. but being in those homes and seeing how certain people where treated, the little witch became super protective of them. she was always on guard and would do whatever she could to help someone in need. even if it was taking the blame for something they did. she always endured it so they didn’t have to. there would be times when she was offered a way out. older kids running away and willing to take her with them, but she was too stubborn. she wouldn’t budge, she’d stay to look out for the other kids. 

over the years, she’d teach herself magic and while there was obviously things she needed to learn, she was actually pretty decent considering. she was powerful. and that in turn made her a little arrogant, she tried not to be but sometimes she couldn’t help. she was proud of herself and no one else would be.... so eventually that proud feeling just turned into arrogance. once she started learning more, she really couldn’t wait. she knew she could do it all, she had the power for it, but not the knowledge. it became a bit of a problem. she was too impatient, needed to learn everything and anything. she had been on her own for so long, she didn’t know how to do things on other’s time. 

her thirst for knowledge didn’t stop with just magic, she really did want to know everything. you never know when you might need the information. when it might be useful to someone in need. helping people is just something she did. sure there are times she’s a bit standoffish, but more often than not, she is going out of her way to help. she can be a little blunt, but she only has people’s best interest in mind... to her, it’s not her fault if someone can’t handle it. 

H E A D C A N O N S

001.  seraphina marie blackwell comes from lillian’s bloodline. though she was very unaware of that fact for the longest time. see, her birth parents gave her up right after she was born–-- she has spent her whole life thinking they didn’t want her. but the truth is, while she was never planned, the gave up their life to create a hunter. it was a vow they made long before seraphina was conceived. so even if they did want her, they couldn’t keep her.

002. she was meant to be given to some friends of their, but two weeks into her living there, they were killed and she was left to go into the system. anytime someone tried to adopt her, her powers went out of control, leaving her to be left behind. when she was a little older, they put her in a foster home. but those never lasted and she spent her childhood moving from home to home. the blackwell witch hated it, but she did met plenty of other kids and formed some pretty deep connections. mainly with other witches and wolves. unaware that she did indeed have a special bond with wolves. see, it was her great, great, great, great (etc.) grandmother, lillian who casted the spell that created wolves... and it was her job, as part of that bloodline, to look after wolves. no matter where she went, she always had some type of connection with a wolf and she always helped where she could. whether it meant helping them personally or helping someone stay protected from them. it all depended on the wolf.

003. when she was sixteen she was adopted into a family of wolves. she wasn’t the only one that felt the connections, wolves did as well, these wolves just felt a connection that made them wish to help her. she got lucky this time because she has had to deal with wolves who’ve felt the need to kill her. but that’s beside the point... this family of wolves took her in and welcomed her. introduced her to some witches who could really help. from then own, the girl went from having no family to having two. the family of wolves and the aurora coven of witches.. 

004. due to her bloodline, it is no surprise that the blackwell girl drew her power from the moon. she really got lucky that her parents, after they adopted her, introduced her to the right coven. within the coven she learn more magic than she had only be able to teach herself and she also happened to learn about her biological parents and her bloodline. it surprised her and broke her heart. . . but she loved her family. she wouldn’t trade them in for the world.

005.  despite living in northknot her entire childhood, she did take a year to herself and traveled. ended up meeting witches from all over who weren’t ready to go to northknot yet. she also met more wolves and managed to convince the rouge ones to travel to northknot and possibly join a pack. during this year she faced challenges that, while left her scared, really helped her with her power. she really got to become the best version of herself.

006. after her year was up, she moved back, this time into a place of her own, though she still talks to her parents everyday. her brothers lived with her for a couple of years too but ended up wanted to do their own thing. during this time since being back, she went to the uni, finished uni, and even became a manager at her job in the autoshop. fixing cars and bikes and such is something she was always kind of good at. she was always super into cars when she was younger. had even got in trouble a couple of times for street racing. she’s hoping her next step is to either become part owner of the shop or buy her own shop.

007. NOW: she is still working as a manager at the autoshop. still lives in her house, got new roommates since her brothers moved out... still calls her dad everyday (her mum was killed by some rogue vampire who was just travelling through). 

C O N N E C T I O N S

ADOPTED BROTHERS. they can be the bio kids to their parents or adopted like she was. but they are both werewolves. she completely adores her brothers and used to get into a lot of mischief with them. probably still does.

BEST FRIEND. her person. this person is her ride or die. the person she’d be able to go to if she had to hide a body. due to her bond with witches and wolves, i think it’s be a bit more fun if her best friend was someone of a different species but i am open to anything. male/female/non-ninary, it doesn’t matter. just give this girl a best friend.

CHILDHOOD FRIEND. someone she met in one of the many foster homes she got stuck in. even if they didn’t always end up in the same house, they stayed friends. they met in a really bad house and just ended up having each other’s backs and it was just a bond that couldn’t be broken. i imagine they got into trouble a lot and had to be separated. EX (WEREWOLF) BOYFRIEND. the same way she feels this connections to wolves, they feel something too. sometimes it’s a protection type connection, sometimes it’s just plain friendly, sometimes it’s even love... however, it’s not always a good connection and with this wolf, the connection wasn’t good. the two started dating BEFORE he triggered his ‘curse’ and everything was great. they LOVED each other. however, everything changed when he triggered his wolf gene. he couldn’t help it, couldn’t fight it at the time. so after a nasty fight, both managed to get away and haven’t seen each other since.

FWB. so while the saying is friends with benefits, they don’t actually need to be friends. they CAN BE, but it could also b fun to have an enemy with benefits type thing. they argue during the day and have their fun at night. just something to help relieve some stress ;)

ROOMMATES. two to three roommates. any species. they could have moved in because they were already friends with seraphina and needed a place. or maybe a coven mate. i would even take someone who responded to an add she posted and we can have this fun semi-awkward relationship between them because they don’t know each other as well but are trying to get to know each other better since they do live together. WEREWOLF SHE CONVINCED TO MOVE HERE. during her year away she ran into some rouge wolves and helped them as much as she could and told them to move to northknot. that they didn’t have to be alone anymore if they didn’t want to be. so i would love to see someone she told.
