On the other hand, minus points for "astronette" and the boob outlining spacesuit.

In reality it wouldn't be until 1983, 17 years after this comic's publication that NASA would put a woman in space ...why are COMIC BOOKS always about 20 years ahead of the actual government on shit like this? Action Comics 337

“Only You Can”, el primer éxito de Fox en 1975 (UK, nº 3). Su cantante Noosha fue la “ultra cool”, la Julie Driscoll del glam rock. Además de un anticipo de la archi famosa y reconocida Kate Bush, considerada por algunos - entre los que no me encuentro- como la Bowie femenina. La Bowie femenina nunca existió, en todo caso fue el propio Bowie.

“Tell Me Now” es una de las siete canciones del LP “Vixen” de Gloria Jones  editado en 1976 en las que aparece la firma de Marc Bolan. También recuperó su célebre stomper “Tainted Love” en versión actualizada. Gloria y Sister Pat Hall hicieron sonar soul a Bolan en una nueva etapa suya poderosa y monumental.

“I Am a Laser” de Ava Cherry (aka Black Barbarella), de su LP con The Astronettes, grabado a mitad de los setenta y publicado muchos años después, en 1995, bajo el título “People From Bad Homes”. Seis originales de Bowie, más versiones de Bruce Springsteen, Frank Zappa, Roy Harper y Annette Peacock.

This is without doubt the best of the Bowie at the Rainbow videos available. The editor has set some pre-concert footage to Ode To Joy (from The Clockwork Orange soundtrack – and used at this time as Bowie’s intro music to gigs) and concert footage to Hang on to Yourself (from the later gig at Santa Monica on 20 October 1972). Although on that footage, it should be noted it “mainly comes from performances at the Rainbow Theatre London and Friars Aylesbury 1972”. It was the Rainbow gigs on 19 and 20 August 1972 that kicked off the second leg of the Ziggy Stardust tour, with Bowie, the Spiders and Lindsay Kemp’s Astronettes mime troupe. Bowie's manager Tony DeFries arranged for Mick Rock to film the show and get interviews with the audience inside and outside the concert. Also, rumor has it the whole concert was also officially filmed by Masayoshi Sukita and a Japanese TV crew. There’s also some super 8 footage clips too. Where does the footage come from? Mick Rock? Probably. Sukita? Well, that rumor has never even been confirmed to my knowledge. Whatever the case, this is pretty cool.
