where do you see yourself

Astra’s not exactly one for politics. Never has been and never will be, but she understands the importance of them now better than she did at a younger age. Even if it all still tends to go over her head, she’ll be there as a support to people she trusts.

That being said, she’ll often brush off folks asking for favors of that nature out of the blue. The vaunted Warrior of Light only has so much patience nowadays for that sort of thing, and she’ll make that well-known, especially now since all she wants is a break. To stop being put on so high a pedestal that not even the gods could reach.

And yet, she holds her tongue, caging the beast that so desperately wants to lash out at those that just plan to use her for her title and fame, and just tells them bluntly to piss off.

Given that the WoL is a legend and is friend (or at least in good terms) with most of the influential heads of state on Etheirys at the moment...

How does your WoL deal with the many, many people that surely contact them to ask for favors of political nature?

Going into a little more depth under the cut because I'm kind of insane about this. CW for mention of infertility.

Astra got a bunch of injuries during the final confrontation with Zenos in Endwalker, but the most notable ones are the cut going across her left eye, a diagonal scar across her chest, and the massive, jagged scar from nearly getting torn in half at the abdomen. That one goes from her side alllll the way to a little under her belly button. It was a bad time.

It took at least two months for all of them to heal properly, but the scar across her abdomen has a near-sickly white outline around it. The Light remaining in Astra's body works as a sort of healing factor, it turns out; even with it and the Scion's efforts to keep her from outright bleeding to death on the Ragnarok, the scarring still looks quite gnarly and it took Astra quite some time to come to terms with them all.

She had to, essentially, get emergency procedures done after leaving the Ragnarok to heal any organs that could feasibly be restored (and prevent any more internal bleeding), and remove any that couldn't. She definitively cannot bear children as a result of it, although that fact doesn't bother her too much anymore now that everything is healed.

Fun fact! The white portion of her scarring around her abdomen faintly glows in the dark because of the Light working to heal her! So that's fun.

Not so much one particular thing, but a lot of jewelry is really precious to Astra. She’s a naturally sentimental person, so gifts of that nature she’ll cherish and wear as often as she can; while she’s collected a lot of it over her adventures, her favorite pieces to wear are often gifts from her loved ones.

An azurite ring gifted to her by her mother, a bracelet given to her on her nameday by G’raha and Aethis, crafted lovingly from obsidian and azurite sourced from the Azim Steppe, a white sweet pea necklace Aethis crafted on her own travels, a crystalline earcuff and necklace that G’raha commissioned Tataru to make…

She loves and cherishes them all as much as she does the people and memories attached to them.

Astra handles her alcohol better than most and has a certain fondness for a good pint of ale, although she does get sleepy if she's had too much. It sands down the normally rough edges of her personality and turns her into a real softie and a flirt, as well.

Aethis, meanwhile, tends to drink less as she's not fond of the typically bitter taste of most alcohol, although she does enjoy fruitier drinks. She loves coming up with new mock / cocktails, however, and has her own miniature bar set that Astra got her as a nameday gift. When she drinks too much, she'll almost always cry about how beautiful she thinks her girlfriend is at least once. Either that, or get a bit more boisterous than she is already.

how well does your wol/oc handle their alcohol?

are they a sad drunk? flirty? do they pass out really quick? have a huge tolerance? or do they just tend to avoid drinking at all?
