What would your book be about?

well, that's a good question!! I have several different ideas, so I'm not even sure which I'd pick. they're all fantasy though, witches, monsters, ghosts, that kinda stuff.

I guess probably my favorite one is about this witch dynasty, and the main character Astoria just became the head of it and she's struggling to keep the family afloat and do what's expected of her, meanwhile her ex-best friend Leona returns to town after like 7 years of not seeing each other, and there's still a lot of bad blood between them but a lot of lingering feelings as well, and the ex-best friend really wants to get revenge on her for smg that happened between them years ago so she teams up with her arch-enemy (who's the head of their rival witch dynasty) but it's one of those "I want to hurt her but I also can't bring myself to hurt her" things and it's just very messy... it's basically just a power struggle between the two girls, and there's obviously a lot other stuff going but I don't wanna ramble too much

but anyway, yeah! I have a lot of stories but this one is closest to my heart for sure, and I hope I can do something with it one day. thanks for the interest <3

ahh thank you <3 I talked a little bit about Dani & Elijah here but they're really only two of my many many OCs

My other favorites are Astoria & Leona (best friends to enemies to lovers witches), Charlotte & Kierkan (enemies with benefits vampires), and Audrey & Bella (rivals to best friends to lovers ghost hunters) they're all different stories set in completely different universes, but as you can see, I'm very fond of all the variations of enemies to lovers, as well as all things paranormal

and because I do love to talk about my OCs a lot, I will talk a bit more about Astoria & Leona at the end (only them because we’d be here all day otherwise, and also because I’m actually trying to outline their story atm)

I was thinking yesterday about writing smg for Dani & Elijah, then I didn't bc it was kinda late anyway, but now I'm thinking about maybe doing some short drabbles... just to start off with, some warm-ups I guess. I've been thinking about doing it for a long time, because I can't yet work on the actual story, but they keep living in my head rent free so I wanna do something with them.

(I was also thinking about incorporating them into one of my upcoming Rebelcaptian oneshots... not too big a role, but I do need a couple of OCs for reasons so I figured, why not them, they'd fit into this AU anyway)

now onto Astoria & Leona a bit under the cut

childhood best friends to enemies to lovers

morally ambiguous witches

fantasy

Astoria is the daughter of this old respected witch family while Leona is an orphan

Astoria was always the confident ring-leader, she's very talented and smart, while Leona was pretty shy and quiet, and people never really paid attention to her

nobody really understood why they were friends in the first place but Astoria always took it upon herself to protect Leona

Leona was pretty much in love with Astoria the whole time but never imagined she'd ever feel the same

Astoria is a bit more complicated because she also loved Leona but wouldn't really admit to herself and just ignored it

they had a falling out at 16 (kinda complicated, I won't get into it here) but it ended pretty badly and they haven't spoken since

until six years later when Astoria's mom dies but her ghost begins to haunt them

so ghosts are pretty violent and often extremely dangerous in this universe, and getting rid of them is not something anyone can just do

so as per witch law, the witch council sends a priestess/priestess in training to help deal with the situation, banish the ghost, figure out why it's even here and what it wants, etc etc

in this case, it happens to be Leona who's a priestess in training and kinda needs to do this successfully to officially become a priestess

so she has a lot riding on this and she wants to do this professionally but it’s kinda hard when Astoria wants nothing to do with her

Leona also changed a lot in those six year, and gone is the once shy, quiet girl, she's now a confident, ambitious, powerful witch who's determined to climb high on the social ladder

but there's a lot of resentment between them on both sides which makes it hard for them to work together and solve this ghost situation while also trying to navigate all the unresolved and unsaid feelings between them

cue a lot of backstabbing, betrayal, mind games, denial and pining
