On a more positive note regarding Leopardstar - I seriously want her Super Edition to give us a better reason for why she supported Tigerstar other than 'she had a little crush on him lolz' My headcanon is that when Tiger first came to Riverclan - he asked if he could talk with Leopard alone. Leopard agreed, he killed her and said he'd get his warriors to do it eight more times if she didn't comply. Because I was scared of Tigerstar as a kid and I need more scary Tigerstar in my life.

On Kate’s Facebook (when talking about this book) she said that Leopardstar didn’t have a crush on Tigerstar so hopefully this book will retcon that claim out of existence. Based on the blurb it sounds like Tigerstar will probably end up manipulating Leopardstar, and I really like that headcanon of yours about him killing her and holding that over her head, it’s her kind of thing he would do. I really hope we get some good villainous Tigerstar moments in this book

It's been a while, huh?

I just wanna say first that I am so, so sorry for disappearing for so long! I don't wanna get too specific on the details as to why but a lot of things happened to me (including school) but now I'm back and ready to revive this nonsense! <3

Shadowsight is a young boy who has had several near-death experiences, interacts with the fantastical on a regular basis, has come into contact with a prophecy at least once, is well known in universe but is not entirely popular, was written by people who make lots of mistakes and (according to your headcanon) has a lightning scar. Conclusion: Shadowsight is Harry Potter .

People talking about their oc groups n stuff reminded me.of.my own from ages ago! (Apologies if this sounds stupid or doesn't make sense, I'm trying to recall something I last thought about when I was 11) The group didn't really have a name, but their home was called "The Refuge" and it was made in Skyclan's Gorge after they were driven out. Their leader, Bluebell, was a former Church Cat (Who left after she was unsatisfied with the way Tigerheart changed their culture) and their two pesudo deputies Tigress and Seal were former kittypets. Tigress was huge, sweet and didn't know her own strength and implied to be a Tigerstar descendant, and Seal was a fancy pedigree who had to stay in camp because any twolegs around would try and take such an expensive cat. The Animal Control around where these cats lived was super active and constantly taking cats (if I remember correctly Bluebell's mate was taken by them and she never saw her again), but these three figured out how to get into where they held the cats and open the cages. The Refuge's members were a mix of random rogues & kittypets they picked up and cats they saved. I don't remember if they were ultimately supposed to be good or evil, all I remember was it was easy to be suspicious of them. Bluebell rescues the protagonist (who I completely forgot the name of, all I know is they were a Shadowclan apprentice), then their gathering conveniently happens that same night and the local old man Bramble(tounge) starts giving the protagonist strange looks after they mention they're from the clans. (Reminiscing about this story makes me wanna revive it oop. Anyway Bluebell and Seal are wlw mlm solidarity icons, goodnight)

I ended up combining it with another old story, so introducing Mistclan and Stormclan.

After several disasters hit the cats around the lake, the clans were standing on their last legs. All hope seemed lost when Thunderclan, known for having many heroes including the great Firestar, was wiped out by twolegs. The remaining cats, now accompanied by a mysterious group who called themselves 'Skyclan', saw it fit to join forces and turn their backs on their warrior ancestors. Many seasons later, the two new clans Mistclan (Riverclan and Skyclan) and Stormclan (Shadowclan and Windclan, named as a memorial to Thunderclan) seem to finally be getting back on their feet. But not all is well – cats are going missing, and for the first time in seasons a young tom has received messages from their ancestors long abandoned: "There will be three, born of a gale thought lost. Only they can return the powers of the stars." "Look for a cat seen through what confines. She and her Warriors can quell the sleeping flames."

No problem! I’m really happy to hear that you have been inspired to continue!
