Okay so I thought that I’ll post that, I tried a kind of Batman comics style of yeah my new obsession Assasin’s Creed, today it’s Arno Dorian from Assasin’s Creed Unity during the French revolution<br/>

Arno x Reader: Looking for You

This revolution was not to your liking, seeing innocent people sent to jail and then being put to death by the guillotine. Clearly the peaceful times in Paris were long gone. The ramble on the streets was enough proof of this. Seeing women flaunting about and men drunker than ever made you squirm in discomfort as you tried your best to move on with your day. You saw your escape through an alley bringing you back to your small apartment above a now refurbished bar.

Who the owner was you had no idea but you had heard whispers from a few ladies that the owner was quite handsome and was seen coming in and out of the place for information on some people. You had to admit you were a bit curious as to who this man was, perhaps he was a secret aristocrat laying low or maybe a secret lover. However your thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the madame trying to get your attention. 

“Y/n! Come on girl I’m not running a show am I. I need you to deliver a few things and then you can finish for the day.”

“But Madame I have finished for the day. I though Marie was taking over my shift for the evening.”

“Girl hasn’t shown up, Here how about this. You do this I’ll give you two days off. It’s not even that far. A few francs for the baker and then this parcel for owner.”

Looking at the package you read the address. He wasn’t wrong it was only about half an hour away to walk there. With the baker halfway you sighed an nodded your head in agreement.

“Lovely now go on.”

You were gently pushed our of the bar holding the package and the bit of coin. Looking around you followed the streets leading to your destination. After a few minutes you had arrived at the baker giving her the payment before setting off for the address to deliver the parcel. You were about to take the main road until you heard screaming you looked to see a few soldiers fighting what looked to be a hooded man. The crowd backed away showing more of the scene to you.

The man wore a dark blue hood and cloak and held a rapier and a pistol. Seeing trouble brewing as the sight of more soldiers coming around the corner you moved out of the way and looked around for a quicker route. Immediately you noticed a few stairs leading down into a small alleyway. Without question you took the path hearing the ramble from the crowd disappear as you walked away.

After a while you had noticed that you should have arrived at the place but you seemed a bit lost as you reread the paper in your hand to make sure. as you looked around trying to find another path or a least a sign you stopped as you saw a tall bulk man wearing red clothes. Clearly a fanatic toward the revolution. 

“Oh excuse me.” You said trying to go around until you saw the man and another shorter lanky fellow appeared behind him.

“What’s that you got there.”

“Just a little something for myself” Immediately you felt uncomfortable. These men clearly weren’t going to let you pass unless one of two things happened. You gave it to them or They take you to the *judged* as a criminal. The bigger man spoke.

“Hand it over and we will let you pass.”

The lanky fellow spoke as he looked you up and down. 

‘Pretty thing like you wouldn’t last a day in the prisons. Hmm a very pretty thing.”

You felt sick as the two stepped closer. Suddenly you heard someone speak behind you as they placed a hand on your shoulder.

“Ah Dear I told you to wait for me.”

Looking up you almost gasped as you saw the hooded figure from before standing next to you giving you a hidden wink under his hood.

“And who the hell are you supposed to be?”

“Her Husband.”

Both of the men smirked until the man brought up a hidden blade from his wrist only a few inches away from the taller man’s neck. The smaller of the two shuddered and was completely frightened.

“Now you two are going to leave before my temper is tested again today.”

Both of them said nothing as they hurried away from the two of you. You turned your head to see both men running very fast, a sigh of relief came as you realized this man had just saved you from that horrible situation. 

“So ma chere. Where are you headed too.”

As you looked up at the man you saw his hood was down. He had a beautiful eyes and his face was just perfect no scars or blemishes. His hair was in a ponytail leaving a few short strands in the front. But by far his best feature was his smile. You felt safe and happy to see anyone smile in these dark times. 

“Oh...um this place.” You said handing him the small paper. As he read it he smirked as he looked back at you.

“Then we have a common mission. I work for the owner of the cafe. I’ll escort you.” He said as he gave a bow and offered you his arm.

You couldn’t help but smile at the gesture. It was quite charming and you enjoyed it.

“Of course Monsieur.” saying as you took his arm. The man smiled and started to lead you though the alleyway. The path was much different than the rest, the stone path was clear of almost any people and was much cleaner. You saw the busy streets again and in front of you was a beautiful cafe. As you walked toward the door you saw the man open the door showing a stage and many people enjoying their meals and drinks. You started looking around for the owner until you felt a small tug on your arm. 

“This way.” Leading you to a hallway in the side it was the back of the cafe leading you up a beautiful staircase to the left toward another open door. Walking in you saw a few chairs around and a archway leading to balcony showing a beautiful garden. 

“My goodness this place is almost like out of dream. Almost like the problems in the city are no where in sight.”

“Well it still has some renovations that need to be done but you are right it is quite beautiful.”

You looked at him and then brought yourself back to reality.

“Oh i should give this to the owner straight away.” As you said this you saw the man hold out his hand.

“That would be me.”

It told a moment to realize what he said. A small blush covered your face. This man? This man was the owner the ladies all spoke about? How could such a young man be able to live like this in such times? You stopped as you noticed you had not moved and quickly gave the package to him. taking it from you he opened it without hesitation. It seemed to be a ornate box and inside were some parchments but none you could read. 

You saw another parchment on top written with the name Arno.

“Is this your name? Arno?”

“Arno Victor Dorian but i prefer just to be called Arno. Formal was never really my strong suit.”

Opening the folded parchment he read it and smiled.

“Seems this is a offer for you to work here at the main cafe to help with me personally.”

You stood still as you took the parchment from his hands. He wasn’t lying. Your manager had written saying he thought you at the main cafe would be better for you and continued to say how good you were at your job. Bringing your attention back to him you smiled as spoke. “This is quite sudden...but I would love to help you. You helped me after all.”

Arno smiled as he gave a small bow of the head.

“You are most welcome here. I believe we will get along perfectly.”

Netflix Have Confirmed A Live Action TV Series Assassin’s Creed. Netflix Have Entered Into A Content Agreement With Ubisoft To Develop Live Action Series Based On The International Best Selling Video Game Franchise.

hehe...so, I moved from Devil May Cry back to Assassin’s Creed...why? Because I am a huge fan and I happen to be in love with history. I recently wrote ‘The Medici Girl’ which takes place during the first part of Assassin’s Creed II and now I’m working on a Unity story. This story is character driven (and follows canon) and I am by no means trying to rewrite the damn game, but maybe just add my own touch to it. I love writing romance (I struggle with action scenes) and conspiracy so, yeah. I do find that one of the characters in the game just...well, let’s just say she takes the credit for turning Arno into a fizzled out mess. By all accounts in game though, she is basically a diversion and set Arno off of his true goals, which really hinders his character. 

Now I know there are a lot of fans who love Elise, I think she is a great character in her own right, but again, she takes the spark away from the story (the balloon scene was just...ugh...that could have been left out) and her narrative becomes Arno’s narrative and goal instead of his original goal. I want to expand on that more by adding a character that makes him question Elise’s motives, which is where Evangeline, Francois, Jean, and Raphael come in. I noticed that Arno really did not have any good supporting characters in the game like Ezio did or any of the other past assassins and that could have totally changed the story up a lot. A character is only magnified by the other ones that can make him/her question and it is not that they are not intelligent. I honestly think that is where it all went wrong. That is just my opinion though. What we see in the game is what we have and there is not changing what is, however that does not mean we can’t expand upon the idea as a love letter to the franchise. (which is my goal)

The first time you two meet was quite odd for both of you

You were reading below train tracks in City of London being occupied by two dogs and three cats on a surprisingly warm sunny day

All the sudden you heard a line of curse words coming out of someone’s mouth from above you and all the animals scattered away making you upset

That was until you were face to face with a man hanging upside down wearing a lot of odd items on himself and hanging by a wire that was attached to his hand and tangled around his foot

“Uh, hello sweet thing~.” the odd man gave you a shit-eating grin before trying to get himself untangled

“Goodbye.” with that you stood up careful of the hanging man and started to walk away

“Wait! Don’t I get to know the lovely woman’s name that I am upside down for?” you turned back to the man who went back to hanging freely forgetting about his troubled situation

“Did he really try to make a pickup line?” either way you rolled your eyes and walked a bit closer to the man while still keeping your distance

“Why should I? You rudely disturbed the animals and I from relaxing!” you crossed your arms and tapped your foot

The man clearly confused looked around and shrugged his shoulders before looking back at you

“My apologies then, will you at least help me down?” with a huff you cautiously made your way closer to the man and started to untangle his foot while he tried to fix the device on his hand that got him into this mess

“Jacob Frye is my name. ” The man held his hand out only for you to nod in response and turn back to untangling him

“You are free now I’ll be on my way, clumsy.” with that he was down, he grabbed a hat that he seemed to be happy to see and put it on his head (him and his damn hat am I right???)

As you walked away and Jacob stood there dumbfounded only one thought popped up in both your minds

Will I meet him/her again?

The first time you two meet was a quick but honorable meet

You were walking with your two dogs down towards Notre Dame the day was sunny and peaceful

Until a man in robes ran into you making you fall onto your ass….

“I’m sorry madame I-” he stopped what he was saying and was now looking at your dogs who were now behind you

“Um, quite alright at least my dogs are fine.” you finally got up from the ground and went to turn around walking away

“Wait!” you could hear the man yell behind you

“What?” you spun around only to come face to face with the same man

“What is a belle femme (beautiful woman) like you walking alone?” you rolled your eyes

“None of your concern Sir.” you tried to leave again at least to get home

But no no no no this man wanted to talk more

“Please at least tell me your name then.”

“None ya’ ” you could hear the man getting frustrated with you

“Fine, I’m Arno, Arno Dorian.”

“Why are you still talking?” you crossed your arms and continued to walk

“Because I would love to pet your dogs.” instantly you stopped in your tracks and turned towards Arno again

“Why?” “Because they are gorgeous.”

After that answer, you felt something towards Arno but shrugged it off and let him pet your dogs

“Well, I’ll leave you be-” “(Y/N)” “Pardon?” “That’s my name.”

Once he walked off with a proud triumph smile and saying “Until we meet again gorgeous” one thing came to your mind

Why the hell did I tell him my name?!
