Happy birthday Undertale! I've been meaning to make some anniversary art for a while now, and an idea finally popped up!

Redraw of THIS  It gave me a lot of nostalgia to redraw this. Back then, my digital pen had broken and I had to stick to traditional work. I know it's hard to recreate the same feeling. The tools are different and my style is VERY different. But I hope you guys will still enjoy this. The tree in the background was not in the original drawing, but I decided to include it to create some atmosphere. It is supposed to be the tree that is in the Ruins'garden. Asgore's hands position is different. Back then, I had a lot of troubles drawing his hands. I tried to focus a lot on the lineart as it is something I've been studying lately. Also, and I think most importantly, Toriel's head is included! Yay! I really hope you enjoy this, and again, thank you so much for staying tuned with such a lazy artist

Asriel dreemurr is like an evil reverse comfort character. Like a discomfort character

Usually when people say that they mean like "grrrr i hate this character so much thinking about them makes me angry!" but its the exact opposite here. I love asriel so much that thinking about how his story ends inevitably makes me very upset

Only thing that gives me comfort is the idea that hard mode, if it ever got finished, would probably have ended with an extra segment where he could be saved. Seems like the kind of thing toby would do, and honestly its weird Asriel is the only one who doesnt get a remotely happy ending in the game. Admittedly thats just wishful thinking on my part though.
