I haven't announced these people yet, but they're all from Nova Futurum. Rowan has quite a big friend group so I'll only mention 3 of their closest friends.

Logan

These two spur each other on and they always are ankle deep in some random trouble. There's the time that they were rough-housing and shoving each other around and Rowan pushed too hard and Logan fell into a freshly poured patch of sidewalk. No one was hurt and Logan was only vaguely upset. Logan is fiercely loyal and never lets people talk shit about his friends. When Rowan is upset, Logan is the type to convince them to have a boxing match to let out their emotions. When it's the other way around, Rowan helps Logan get out of his head when he's upset and convinces him to explore a new section of town.

Caspian

These two teach each other how to take apart and reassemble technology. Caspian is especially interested in how to use technology as a fashion statement, which works great with Rowan's expertise with cybernetic implants. Caspian is a quiet and patient person and often gives Rowan enough space to share their emotions without feeling terrible about it. For all their quietness they come up with some wickedly smart ideas that help the group enjoy their time together even more.

Nicole

Rowan and Nicole appear to strangers in Nova Futurum as the two best behaved in their friend group. It's true, Nicole is the one who thinks of the repercussions of their actions and tends to be the "adult" one in their group. But this doesn't stop them from having fun with the others. These two enjoy exploring, just like the rest of the group. Unlike the others, these two explore upwards. They climb together and bond together over exercise and things like their favorite tv shows.

This was really fun to do and helped me flesh out my characters a lot more. Thank you again for the ask!

The Forgotten Legends of Chima Sneak Peek (part 23)

The moonlight shines, hitting faintly on these huge, hollow seeds that hang from those branches. They’re not just hollow; they have open holes like doors and windows! Are they houses? Cragger whimpers, “Eris… Tha’was close! How did you…” “You just answered me by yourself.” He sighs. From below, the rush of wolves pass galloping in a hurry, avoiding us and the tree, but their noise attracts an unexpected rumble at our height too. We hear heavy panting, and it gets louder by the minute.

A little treat before I get busier xd, my writing will start to slow down for this month unfortunately

The Forgotten Legends of Chima Sneak Peek (part 21)

Ehboni sits down besides me while holding a cup of tea. The vapor that steams from the warm liquid dances around in a trance, as it dampens my breath. She then leans forward, at my left. “Please, drink this tea I made. It’ll ease your pain.” A strong odor startles me. It definitely comes from that beverage. “But— Ehboni… is it acerbison?”, I stutter by moving my frail vocal chords. With hesitation, she pats me on the forehead, and lends the cup very close to my face. I drink the liquid from it, its bitter taste shocks my tongue, I snarl hard in reaction, but this is numb compared to the pain piercing me. It’s for my own good, anyways.

Soon enough, my eyes return to normal, yet I feel light headed. To my side, where the passenger's door is, I can see ten other jets surrounding the Eagle Spire's helipad, beaming downwards blue fire to stay afloat in the sky. "Stay where you are, Equila!", a deep, breathy voice shouts, "We won't hurt you— just be still!"

Maxim is my favourite because we are best friends but they are all awesome. The Forgotten Legends of Chima Sneak Peek (part 22)

My throat trembles while I feel the liquid go down to my stomach. It’s horrible. I don’t even want to look down and stare at my bruised body. Dad doesn’t want to see it either. Though, there he is, his eyes unable to understand the wounds on my neck, the redness scattered throughout my skin… Or the damp fur, too.

“My son…“, he kneels before the bed, “How could—”

His voice froze while speaking. He’s terrified– I can see his paws twitching.

Dad cries, “I failed you.”

Cragger rests his back on the big rock. He briefly looks at me, before turning away and crossing arms.

“Laval… I’m scared”, he mutters.

My heart starts to race. We’re just kids, after all, we can’t do much. Maybe this– or I– might fail, but silence now is not an option… right? As a prince, it’s my duty to help my father in situations like these.
