Jon Snow x fem!Stannis Baratheon

Jon Snow x fem!Stannis only instead of claiming the throne, she wants to put her younger brother Renly on the throne, whom she had to raise herself because her parents died (as in the canon).

Fem!Stannis (or Shaera Baratheon) is a little softer than Stannis in the original, but this is only with people close to her (Renly, Shireen, Ned).

Since she was the one who raised Renly, she actually takes the role of Queen Mother in her political faction.

She can also be considered quite an powerful woman, as she participates in battles as a commander and naval commander, and Robert during her lifetime granted her the title of master of ships, and a position in a small council held by a woman is rare in Westeros.

Her husband is a rather passive person so he does not interfere much in her plans.

They first meet Jon Snow during the War of the Five Kings.

I don't know how or why this came to my mind, but for some reason I find it interesting to see the relationship between a strong-willed adult woman and her ally-lover, who has ahem ahem mommy issues.

At first, it’s gentle. At first, it feels like love. For Helion, love has always been a quiet thing. He’s always been someone who observes, who listens, who feels. A gentle hand upon a sick child’s forehead. A soft word to comfort someone crying alone in the halls. He was the Targaryen that the people trusted, the one who didn’t desire power or glory—just peace, connection, a sense of belonging.

But the moment he meets you—the one—something shifts inside him. It’s subtle at first, a stirring in his chest that confuses him. He’s always been someone who has kept others at a distance, preferring the company of his own quiet thoughts or those who shared his ideals. But you are different. There’s something about your presence, your smile, the way you speak to him so openly.

It starts innocently, doesn’t it? A shared conversation over the royal gardens, a few lingering glances when you pass by him in the corridors. He begins to want more, not just the superficiality of duty, not just the formalities of a prince and his subject. No, he wants you—all of you. Your thoughts, your fears, your laughter. And soon, he finds himself needing you.

Helion’s obsession with you isn’t loud. It isn’t violent. It doesn’t start with threats or possessiveness—no, that would be too messy for him. Instead, it grows like a quiet poison, slipping into his veins, curling around his heart and mind.

He watches you. Quietly. Subtly. From a distance at first, but it soon becomes something more. When you walk into a room, his eyes find you immediately, like a magnet pulling him to your presence. He lingers in the shadows, watching you interact with others, his expression calm but his mind spiraling with thoughts of what if. What if you looked at him the way you look at them? What if you noticed him more, wanted him the way he wants you?

But he’s patient. He knows how to wait. He’s always been good at waiting, at observing. He doesn’t rush in; he doesn’t force anything. He’s a prince, after all. He knows the rules of court, the games that are played. Instead, he waits for the moment when you need him, when you’ll turn to him for comfort, for guidance, for something—and then he’ll be there, waiting for you to see him as he truly is.

But as time goes on, Helion’s patience begins to slip, and something darker seeps in. He doesn’t want just a part of you; he wants all of you. Every glance, every word, every breath you take. And the thought of you giving that attention to anyone else—anyone else—becomes unbearable.

Helion’s affection, once so pure and gentle, morphs into something possessive, but still, it is quiet. It doesn’t shout. It whispers. Every time you laugh with another man, every time you share a word with someone else, a small, dark part of him tightens, coils, a small feeling of disgust bubbling up in his chest. He tells himself it’s nothing. He tells himself that they don’t matter. But they do. They matter. He watches every interaction, every smile exchanged with someone who isn’t him. He watches and silently marks the way your attention flickers away from him.

You think you’re safe, don’t you? That his devotion is just that—a soft, unassuming thing. But you haven’t seen the way he looks at you when you’re not paying attention. How his eyes linger just a moment too long, how his hand brushes against yours just a fraction of an inch more than it should, how he holds onto your words like they’re treasures he must protect.

Helion is still not a man of violence. He’s never been that. But you—you—are the one thing in this world that makes him lose control. His love for you is not just a feeling. It is a need. A hunger. And when he feels you slipping away, when you give that smile to someone else, when you laugh with them, not him—when you walk past him without a second glance—it stirs something deep inside him.

It’s quiet at first. A tightness in his chest. An ache he can’t soothe. And then, the darkness wraps itself around his mind like a vice. What if you were his? Truly his, in every sense? What if he could keep you safe, away from the rest of the world’s chaos, from the people who would take you away from him? What if he could keep you forever?

The thought of you with someone else—it burns. He tells himself it’s for your safety. It’s for your protection. You’re too precious to be around people who don’t understand you like he does. They could never see you the way he sees you. They could never care for you the way he does.

Helion isn’t the type to take immediate action, but once he makes his decision, it’s clear. He finds ways to be closer to you—ways that don’t raise suspicion. He arranges moments where you’re alone, where you can speak without others listening. He writes you letters, notes that seem innocuous, but they are heavy with his intent. He’s patient, but when the time comes, he will take you. He’ll have you. And you’ll thank him for it.

There’s no anger in him. No rage. It’s cold, this obsession, almost surgical. He tells you it’s for your own good. That he can’t stand to see you in the hands of anyone else, that the world is too dangerous for you to wander unprotected. He’ll be your protector. Your guardian. Your king.

And when he finally admits his love to you, it will be calm, soft, and dangerous. There will be no plea in his voice, no desperate cry. He’ll simply tell you that you’re meant to be his, that you’ve always been meant for him, and that now, you have no choice but to be with him.

In his mind, it’s pure. It’s the only way to protect you. The only way to truly love you.

And you—you—will come to understand that.

Lady Roslyn Baratheon(Female Robert)

An artwork I commissioned from KITAUMI for my fic of a female Robert AU.

Some details of the art:

Hawking and hunting are hobbies enjoyed by both men and women in Westeros, so there's a falcon on Roslyn's shoulder signifies her passion in it.

She's a little tanned from her love in riding and outdoor activities.

Everything is kept except the straight hair. It's just I feel like curls fit female Robert more for the implication of her wild nature. She's also busty.

She is an alchoholic which implies through the cup of wine she held. If you look at it closely, you will find something interesting.

Roslyn is a spendthrift like Robert, which is evident in the jewelry she wears.

Let me just write an entire gender swapped starklings headcanon while I’m at it

Fem!Robb (Roberta? Robina?) my beloved with ur Arya-like tendency to wear boys clothes and riding/sparring leathers. However unlike Arya she’s the smarter eldest daughter and thus not as wild and temperamental, and when will wear a gown when the occasion calls for it (though it’s simple as possible and indistinguishable from serving girls, unless Cat forces her into a proper dress). She’s just as honorable and courteous as her male counterpart, and just as good natured.

When Ned gets got, she takes it upon herself to declare war and save her hostage brothers, as she feels she can’t sit around and let one of her fathers lords do it. It’s her responsibility. It takes a second for the lords to warm up to her as their leader, but eventually they crown their Queen in The North and the Young She-Wolf marches south for vengeance. Armor fits her better than any dress she’s ever worn. It’s a beautiful silver color with the Stark wolf across the chest, fit for a queen but practical enough to survive a battle

And letting Cat convince her to dress up for the red wedding in one of her old dresses from Riverrun out of a sign of respect for the man she was supposed to marry (she slept with Jon Westerling in her grief when she thought her sisters were dead in winterfell bc she is Repressed and then married him for her honor) and she doesn’t wear her usual armor for once. By the end of the night her red gown is dyed a shade darker by her own blood 🤗

Bonus: everyone’s favorite playgirl, hostage, traitor, and currently fem!Ramsays current chew toy. Fem!theon fell first AND fell harder she is a mess for Robb idc this is canon to me. She’s Balon’s less favored daughter (Asha is still a woman bc I think it hurts Fem!theons pride even more) and is trying to emulate Asha the best she can but she’s flopping so hard

I LIED!!! I did in fact make another piece of ASOIAF fanart 😔 (it was fun though 😎). This mostly came up as a result after I was reminded that Jacaerys may most likely perish in the first episode of the next season which kind of put me in a mood. As a result I decided to go back and reread @presidenthades ‘A House Full Of Daughters’ AU universe fics of both ‘The Golds’ and ‘Lavender’s Blue and Lavender’s Green (when I am king, you shall be queen)’ on a side note: according to AO3 I think I have visited ‘The Golds’ for the 167th time (what can I say it’s my comfort fic 🥲). One thing lead to another and I started making a rough sketch of Jacaera. I do still plan on doing a Jacaera with a wreath piece, but that will definitely be done much later on. I think after Lucera, Jacaera is my second favorite, our girl deserves it though. Anyways, onwards toward the details!

*First detail we will be focusing on is the overall color palette of her dress! Jacaera loves pink and gold, so of course her dress is going to be in said colors!

*Roses (that come in a variety of colors) are present since it is stated that Jacaera favorite flower is a rose. (Was going for an embroidery effect, but I think I was only successful with the stem and leaves).🌹

*Our girl Vermax is in here too! She’s Jacaera’s trusty mount, so our girl needs to represent, of course our girl Jacaera is going to pay homage to her dragon!!! (In this AU Vermax is in fact female. Tried giving it the embroidery effect, but not sure if the execution also came out right). 🐉

*The golden corset belt also pays homage to her mothers house, and she is going to have a dragon motif in her clothing as she is also her mothers heir, who is the next in line for the throne. The corset belt also happens to bear some pieces that happen to look a lot like dragon scales.

*You can’t really see it all to well, but there is also a seahorse present in her dress placed on her sleeve. The seahorse motif pays homage to the house she was born into.

*She has pink jewels present since she loves pink! 🩷

*Pearls are present since her house is known for there mariner lifestyle, and pearls are usually correlated with this. Plus pearls are most likely abundant in Driftmark.

*The golden swirls are there to sort of act as a callback to the previous fanart piece of Lucera.

*The rings kind of go hand in hand with paying homage to Book!Rhaenyra as she is mentioned to usually wear many rings on both hands.

*Jacaera has a golden train. I think she’s mentioned to not be a big fan of them, so we’re going to pretend that it’s a moderately sized train.

*There’s a bejeweled pearl pink gemmed flower.

*The headdress has the triangle in the middle to kind of represent that ‘the dragon has three heads.’

This was really fun to make, especially more so since it started off a a practice drawing/sketch! I’m going to try to post more next year, but this may be my last post of the year. Happy Holidays everyone!!! :D

For my genderbend au, I was thinking of the following names for the girls:

Female! Jacaerys:

Jacaera: Simple and easy. Obviously I didn’t work my brain hard for this one, but I actually like how it sounds. It reminds of a warrior queen’s name. Her nickname would be “Jera”. 

Alysanne: Rhaenyra would name her like this in hopes her daughter would become a queen as good and beloved like the namesake. And I’ve noticed there hadn’t been more Alysanne Targaryen descendants, which doesn’t sit well to me. Her nickname would be “Lysa”. I like this one too.

Visenya: Rhaenyra always had that name reserved for someone, but she didn’t got the chance to use it until so much later. If she had a daughter, she’ll most likely choose this one, to honour the sister she never got to have. I like the name but I prefer to give her a name that fits her character more.

Elaena: Even though the show decided to completely erase this fact and tried to force an unrealistic narrative with Alicent, canonically Rhaenyra and Laena were besties and had a special bond (it’s heavily implied they were something more). In the books it is said that Rhaenyra flied to Laena’s side when she gave birth and threw herself at her dead body, crying and begging her to wake up. So I feel Rhaenyra would totally name her one of her daughters similarly to her beloved friend/lover.

Female! Lucerys:

Aemma: Like the beloved wife and mother, this would definetly be an option for Rhaenyra. Since in this au fem!Lucerys has a strong resemblance to her grandmother, this will probably cross Rhaenyra’s mind, wanting a chance to honour her mother’s memory (and piss of Alicent). But like with fem!Jace, I want her to have a more original name, separated from another character.

Lucerya: Same thing than Jacaera. I didn’t think too much with this one. I’m not sure if I want them to be just genderbend versions or ocs on their own right, so depending on my choice, I’ll give them “feminized” versions or different ones.

Rhaenys: The least likely one, but I like to imagine the picture created if Rhaenyra named her daughters like the first Targaryen queens. But considering Rhaenys’ posture with fem!Lucerys, this probably won’t sit well, although maybe Laenor would like to name her like his mother too. 

Valaena: Visenya, Aegon and Rhaenys’ mother, the first Velaryon to be known. What better way to honour the family by naming the future Lady of the Tides like this ancestor, while also winking at her Targaryen ancestry?

I have more names, but these ones are the most recurring ones. Let me know what you think!
