Five years ago today, I made this blog and put up my very first post. Back then, I had no plans, no idea what I was doing, I simply started as a spur of the moment thing because I thought it would be fun. Since then, I’ve met tons of wonderful people, I’ve panicked and floundered trying to make up a story as I went, I’ve experimented, I’ve struggled, and look how far we’ve come because of it!

I’ve learned so much from such a seemingly small choice way back then and so much has happened along the way, and I’m glad I took that first step that’s led me here! Here’s to 2022, surviving and thriving out of spite, and everything to come in the years we’ve yet to experience!

Anyways, tune in tomorrow to see what I’ve got cooking up. I’ve worked hard on trying to write this behind the scenes the past few months, so I hope you all enjoy! ^^

Neema: “My goodnes litle one, you are quite the excited little thing, aren’t you?” the Sphinx laughes softly, though keeping her paw against their mouth, “first off, yes, I am an Absol too my dear and of course we may certainly be friends. As far as the thing on my forehead goes, it is a third eyes that has the same functions as any other Absol’s gem. Except I also have the added ability to see from it as well. Taking care of my hair is how I keep it looking as it does darling, and no, I have sadly never touched a cloud.” Slowly she moved her paw away from the young one’s mouth, hoping that she would no longer be speaking a mile a minute, then again, she was a child after all. There was no knowing if she’d even be calm either.

Hecate shakes her head. “Nope!”

“Really? Well I think you’d like it. Basically, halloween is a day where people dress up in cute, cool, or scary costumes and run around either scaring people. Something I like to do.” She states with a smile and a hand resting on her chest. “Or go trick or treating. Which is pretty much going to peoples homes with a bag or a bucket and ask for candy. And you never really know what your gonna get either.”

Camellia took the offshoot class ranger, here Magnolia’s trying to dual class as a mage AND swordswoman! Hey imagic sword-wielders exist back in FF5 (and undoubtedly earlier) and they sure as hell do exist now >BV

Perhaps I should’ve given her a tome... but a tri-flower-tipped staff to go with her rapier sounded like dual-wielding fun-times. ANYWAY, hope ya like, I did try to do something very different for the child between this knight and mage xD;

Rowan appreciated the small Absol’s attempt at making music using her tail.  “Maybe you could be a drummer too one day!”

She glanced over to where her bandmates were; Flavian appeared to be consoling Joachim about ... something. Why weren’t they paying attention? Rowan’s smile faded for a moment, but it reappeared when her attention went back to Hecate. 

“Ooooh, you have candy? Nice!! I’ll take some, yes!”

Rowan pulled out a part of her drum set and placed it on the ground before her.

Linda’s ears twitched at the sound of what she thought was giggling and stood upright looking around to try and find out where it was coming from. However before she could look for too long, something jumped onto her head causing jump a little in response. 

“Ahhh!” Is what initially came out of the purple weasel in response to this surprise attack. However after hearing the voice of the little mon that landed on her, she couldn’t help but smirk as she looked up at Hecate with furrowed eyebrows. She was legitimately impressed that the kid actually managed to surprise her like this. Not to mention land on her from where ever she was hiding.

Linda giggles a bit at the little absol on her head. “I didn’t know I was supposed to be the one hiding. But I’ll admit you did surprise me.” She says as she looks up at Hecate. “So. Do I win?” She asks with a friendly smile.

Hecate@Karma: Hecate approaches with a sack dragging behind her, carried in her mouth, the young pup seemed to be bringing her a gift! "Hey pretty lady... please don't cry I brought you some pretty stuff to make you feel better!" She empties the sack revealing colorfully polished river rocks and other such knickknacks a toddler might find interesting.... an attempt was made.
