How do i go about being happy again?

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately in my own life because, honestly, I’m not happy. I can’t remember the last time I was. On a good day, I’m content. On a bad day, I’m suicidal. Most of the time, I fall somewhere in the category of maniacally morose. Or maybe “just ignoring all emotion lol.”

I find it helpful to keep a journal, or a list, or a blog, or a shitton of pictures, cataloging moments that bring me joy. 

For example, today work sucked. I worked a third twelve-hour day in a row, was exhausted, dizzy, and sick, and had to do more labor intensive errands when I got off. But instead of focusing on that, I’m journaling about the giggles I shared with my boss while we commiserated on being overworked. I’m journaling about the nice bath I just took, and that I can sleep in tomorrow since I’m off for once.

Sometimes that’s too hard, and my journal entry looks something like this:

“Things I’m grateful for today: air. my cat. mac and cheese.”

You’ve been happy before, love. Even if you can’t see it now, I promise there will be happiness again. It may not be as all-consuming as you remember (life rarely lives up to nostalgia), but it will come. I love you, darling.

about pedro and psychological wars. at the end of last season he did an interview with his data engineer in italian with an italian guy and that guy asked him if he knew why tony basically started to flop after the summer break (so after mugello). and pedro and his data engineer looked at each other and laughed and pedro said “I might know the reason, let’s say he found himself in a situation” and to me it was pretty obvious that he was referring to tony’s mentality that got worse and worse after mugello. also because he said that in mugello he brought the pizza boxes after the win to “send a message to tony and fuck up with him a bit”, his words! so yeah he’s in for some drama😭

i fear he will keep doing this until he finds someone that matches his freak and gives it back just as good instead of everyone rn being, in his own words, boring af.

I think it's just Pedro who has a bit of a peculiar character tbh😭 If you watch the mini doc TNT did where they spend a day with him you can catch some glimpse of his personality better. His family sold their family boat to raise money to allow him to race and he’s a proper hardworker and also very humble and in the doc you can clearly see that are qualities that his parents also have. When he goes to train he only brings his flop friend from moto2 and he lets his best friend of a lifetime training. Doesn’t bring mechanics or anything, he does his own set up and sometimes he makes it bad on purpose so he has to ride a bad bike. The people who work with him always say that he’s an old soul in a young body but at the same time he’s the most 20yo guy ever. There’s this interview he made in italian with his ex telemetry data engineer where you can see that every single thing he thinks he say it out loud. The interviewer told him “you told more things to me in 40 minutes than what the entire MotoGP grid could tell me in 1 months”. I guess that’s why the journalist that work in the paddock and the people who work with him like him that much

Pedro does have a peculiar character lol that makes him so entertaining.. but wow I didn't know about that Italian interview!! 😳 that's so interesting... but the more I find about him the more curious I get tbh

What's your favorite dream?

This is gonna sound depressing as hell but one time when I was like 14 I had this dream about a guy I had never met but in the dream we were so domestic and in love and it was such a quiet, subtle dream but I woke up g l o w i n g and actually in hindsight it might have been a twin flame thing? I still find it really comforting
