{русский ниже: докатот vs слиппод} For everyone that asked in stories, here is a written comparison: 🗂Sleep Pod vs Dock-a-tot. We used ( and even still using) Dock-a-tot with Elia and loved the concept of a little "nest" - the baby has his/her own space that they get used to, you can have a baby with you in the bed in a protected little nest, it does help with a newborn baby's comfort and feeling of not being lost in space, it is definitely easier to sleep-train the baby and teach them to sleep in the crib and it is easy to make a little one feel more secured and comfortable when traveling because the baby has a little "nest" that can be taken with them anywhere you go. Those are definite benefits. From the minuses, Dock-a-tot was a little on a harder side for my liking, so I used a blanket to soften the surface(especially to prevent flat-head); although it can be carried with you, it is somewhat on a larger size, and the textiles were not organic - but we started using it with Elia when she was over 4 months old, so that was not as big of an issue to me as it is with a newborn baby whose skin is very sensitive. You saw my IG stories from @sproutsanfrancisco last week where I found the organic version of a sleep pod. The brand is @askrembla here for those of you who asked. It caught my eye and had enough pluses for me to buy it right here right then. Here are the differences: 💎apart from all organic textiles, it is shaped a little different - the sides are a little rounder and higher and the inside part of itself is a bit roomier. 💎it's softer - much, much softer. This is a plus for me, which was one of the biggest reasons I bought it. 💎this picture makes it look like they are the same in size, Sleep pod is more compact. There is still an option to open up the bottom portion for a growing, taller baby. 💎it is much more compact and can be folded for storage and travel. I bought mine as a set with a wool lining and a travel backpack - and it's a size of a small kids backpack: easy and simple. 💎wool mattress and lining - from what I could understand from the website, wool lining is optional, but mine came with a package and I would highly recommend it!👇🏻
