darkwingphoenix Sorry, sorry: What I meant by the last one is this: How much damage can be cause by the average ogre/centaur/minotaur when they just go berserk and just start smashing everyone/thing within grabbing range, assuming a normal, say, Evangelite village plaza? Asking for a friend. Me. I'm the friend.
-----
I see! I think it depends heavily on the individual person and the area they're rampaging in.
A raging adult centaur in a small cafe? The whole interior is getting wrecked. Furniture smashed, windows and doors broken, people thrown, the works.
In the middle of a wide open street with no vehicles around? Some windows might get smashed, maybe a stop sign bent, but overall the infrastructure is going to be too tough for them to damage much. An ogre or minotaur might be able to head-bash some cracks in a cement wall.
Overall I'd say "Imagine a horse, bull, or silverback gorilla going nuts" and that's about the level of damage we're talking about.

Are Ogre Dogs a popular pet outside of Ogre communities? I just think those ‘lil feisty sausages are neat doggos. :)
Good question! Unfortunately purebred ogre dogs only obey ogres, so they make poor pets for other peoples. They simply did not evolve to see other peoples as part of their pack the way they see ogres. It took thousands of years of selective breeding to achieve their ogre-focused behaviors.
However, there are ogre dog hybrids that tend to have more obedient temperaments. Humans like to breed them with Timberland tattlers and gnomish war beasts in particular, two breeds which naturally obey humans the way ogre dogs obey ogres. Some of these hybrids can look pretty similar to purebreds, so you get all the cuteness with less of the disobedience!

Do other peoples besides centaurs use special or unique furniture that humans don't?
Yes! A lot of this depends on region too. For instance, in some regions people use chairs, and in others they prefer to sit on cushions or just the ground. In some regions people use eating utensils, and in others they use their hands to eat. So the following isn't true globally, just in some places.
With that said...
All heavyweight species require heavyweight-rated furniture. Stuff like tables, chairs, bed frames, and so on are made of tougher materials to withstand the extra weight of these species. Of course these furniture pieces are much larger too.
Chairs made for ogres have a gap for their tails to poke through. More often, these chairs don't have a back at all, so they're more like stools.
Dishes and utensils are bigger and burlier to accommodate heavyweight species. These things have to survive the heavyweights' great strength and crushing jaws. Normal forks and spoons just bend like paperclips, and normal glass dishes break too easily. Heavyweights typically use dishes made of wood, metal, or stone.
Trolls have massive hands, so there are a variety of troll-specific objects like tools and dishes with fatter handles.
Heavyweights' objects in general are bigger. For example, a watering can meant for middleweight species might hold one or two gallons of water. But heavyweights are strong enough to hold much more, so their watering can would seem ridiculously large to a human.
Ogres and trolls don't typically use mattresses, and if they do, they're just hay or animal pelts spread on the floor. This is because their skin is so rough that they tear through fabrics quickly. If an ogre lays on your couch, I'm sorry to say your upholstery is not long for this world...
Minotaur dwellings have tall, keyhole-shaped doorways to accommodate large horns. (Fauns also have doors like this, but smaller)
Gnomes repurpose objects meant for larger species all the time. A spool of thread, for instance, might make a nice end table for a gnome. A child's dollhouse can even be converted into a real house in some cases!
Many gnomes find this tacky and don't wish to use hand-me-down trash from other species. Instead, they make their own furniture out of natural materials around them. They braid fur and hair of larger creatures into ropes or weave it into tapestries. Since they're so small, gnomes are capable of extremely fine detail work. No one makes finer jewelry or dollhouse furniture than they do. "Crafted by gnomes" is an attractive selling point for some objects.
Chairs meant for roshava have four arm rests instead of two.
Sirenes don't really use furniture underwater, but they do use it on the shore, and of course it must be made out of waterproof materials. You won't see sirenes sitting on cotton upholstery, which holds water and gets moldy. Instead, they prefer cushions and fabrics woven from water-repellent fibers like grasses and seaweed. This goes for cecaelia as well.
You'll never find stairs in a gorgon house because this species doesn't have legs. For the record, gorgons can climb stairs, but it's awkward and not exactly safe for them. Instead, they prefer smooth ramps and elevators. Wheelchair-accessible infrastructure doubles as gorgon-accessible!
Of course, all furniture meant for dworfs is shorter than it is for other species.
That's all I can think of at the moment!

kid-az Being an Ogre would mean frolicking around the forest without any fear of anyone ever bringing harm to me, and being able to do whatever I want! And by whatever I want I of course mean bathing in a river and eating bee hives.
This is so true! Ogres are often looked down upon as "big violent brutes". But this scary image also gives them freedoms that other species don't have, simply because...well, who the hell is going to stop them? They'll slap a bitch into orbit.
See an ogre chowing down on bee hives at the park? Sure it's illegal, but are you going to be the one to say something?
Didn't think so.

You say thrres ogre tribes evangeline can't conquer, can you tell more abt them
Yep, there are several independent ogre tribes peppered around Evangeline territory in Noalen. Evangeline Kingdom has successfully conquered a lot of these tribes throughout history, but a few of them managed to hold their ground, and they still stand independent today.
At this point in time, Evangeline could destroy and conquer these tribes if they wanted to...the thing is, it would cost them a lot of valuable soldiers and they'd barely get anything in return. The ogres own small chunks of land and don't interfere with Evangelite business much, so there's really no point in messing with them.
The only thing these ogres do to piss off Evangeline is hiding escaped slaves. Evangelite slaves sometimes run away from their masters and seek refuge with these tribes. Noalen's tribal ogres don't like to sacrifice what precious little real estate they have to other species, so this arrangement is usually temporary. The slaves hop from tribe to tribe as they make their way to the Folkvar border.
Sometimes the ogres accept refugees and sometimes they don't. If they do accept slaves into their walls, there is nothing the Evangelites can do about it until those slaves exit the ogre's territory. Oftentimes slavers will camp near ogre settlements hoping to snag bodies, but the ogres and slaves have gotten wise to this, and may hide the slaves in trade wagons as they make their way to other tribes. Evangelite forces rarely mess with ogre caravans.
So what do the ogres get out of this whole arrangement? Why help the slaves at all? Well, the ogres certainly hate Evangeline Kingdom, but they're in no position to attack them directly. So, many believe they can attack the kingdom indirectly by helping escaped slaves and migrants make it to Folkvar Kingdom.
Folkvar is the enemy of Evangeline, and the only way to earn citizenship here is if someone in the immediate family joins its military. If a family of migrants or ex-slaves wants to make a new life in Folkvar Kingdom, at least one of them must pick up a weapon and fight the Evangelite menace directly.
In this way, the ogre tribes can be a real thorn in Evangeline's side. But like I said, Evangeline's resources are stretched thin from the war with Folkvar, and they aren't willing to devote a lot to the ogres since overall, they're not even a fraction of the threat Folkvar is. They're more of an annoyance than a danger.
These ogres have largely clung to their ancient ways of life despite Evangeline's encroachment, but in some ways they have also modernized, mostly by fortifying their defenses to a crazy degree. They have adopted technologies from many of the slaves and migrants they meet, who bring ideas from foreign lands. Ideas such as traps, weaponry, and building techniques.
For example, these ogre tribes may have historically surrounded their territory with a simple palisade fence. Then some migrants introduced them to the concepts of stone walls, hilling up, and moats, and the ogres never looked back. So, most of the ogrish structures you see today don't resemble their ancient traditional ones, but they have been more effective at keeping Evangeline out of their business.

Hey, I heard I could get some advice here? And I think I’m gonna need it. I’m an ogre man, zareenite, and I need some… romantic help. You see theirs this beautiful dwarf lass I’ve been seeing over the past few months, she’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a women and more! Sweet and spicy all in one, I knew she’d had my heart the day she threw our crappy boss through a wall! Only real complaint is she’s a huge fan of that trashy driza housewives show, ugh.
Sorry for rambling, what I’m trying to say is she’s really important to me and I wanna make her happy. I’m planning a romantic night for us and well… I wanna take things to the next level with her and it’s here I need some help! How would an ogre like me well… you know… bed someone smaller? Like about dworf size or so? I don’t wanna hurt or offend her or anything, is their anything special I need to do as a precaution? Is their anything I can do or is it impossible at our sizes?
Anonymous asked:
Hey I’ve heard from around that this is a good place to get romantic advice from and I’d like to get some. I’m a dworf women down in Azur, and I’ve dating this absolutely adorkable yet shy ogre man for afew months now. Met at the office, big sweetheart and bakes the absolute best muffins you’ve ever had! Hung around a lot together at work until I got fired for well… you know the reasons arn’t important! Anyway we’ve been together for awhile now and I’d like to escalate things.
Wanting to take him out on a romantic evening and end it with a big surprise! If you catch my drift ;) Their is abit of problem that’s um… quite evident. How exactly would someone of my size, or anyone smaller for that matter get freaky with an ogre?! If I’m being honest, I’m kinda intimidated, and I know my hubby wouldn’t forgive himself if something bad happened during the act. So is anything I can do to make sure it’s safe and pleasurable for both of use?
Hmmm, what a coincidence! ;)
First of all, congratulations on the relationship! You two sound adorable. Some would say the love between dworfs and ogres is never meant to be, simply because of the size difference, but that’s just ignorant nonsense. There are many happy dworfen/ogrish couples on Looming Gaia.
Of course everyone expresses love in their own unique ways, but as far as physical lovemaking goes, many books have been written on the subject which offer some ideas. These ideas were collected from actual interspecies couples, such as dworf and ogre lovebirds like yourself. If these methods work for them, maybe they’ll work for you too?
The following text may contain NSFW text/images, so I’m placing it below a cut.
I answered a similar question a while back, regarding an elven/gnome couple. I will say that most of the things written there also apply to this situation. But obviously the size difference between a gnome and an elf is a little more extreme than a dworf and an ogre. Take a look at this chart:
Suffice to say, PIV sex between these two prooobably isn’t possible. But there are so many alternatives to that, it hardly matters anyway! Since you both live in Zareen Empire, the land of technological wonders, you have access to all kinds of manual and electric sex toys that you can use on eachother. Maybe your ogrish lover’s peg won’t fit in your hole, but I bet he’ll have a great time helping you shop for something that will. He can lend a hand or simply watch, just keep in mind that ogres are immensely strong and have poor fine motor control compared to other species, so he will have to stay very mindful of his own force.
The dworfs’ size is deceptive. Though they stand about half as tall as humans, they are actually twice as strong with more bone and muscle density. This makes them quite tough and able to shake off blows that would mangle a human. That said, they are not invincible, and it’s probably a good idea for the dworf to “take the lead” in the bedroom.
Ogres have rough, leathery hides, but their bellies, groins, and lips are softer. Their tongues feel a bit rough compared to the tongues of other species, but oral sex is still possible and pleasurable so long as he’s gentle. In one book about interspecies relationships, a roshavan woman claims her ogrish husband filed the ends of his tusks smooth so that she could penetrate herself on them in the bedroom! This isn’t an isolated thing either...In some cultures, when male ogres break a tusk, they carve the broken piece into a phallic shape and gift it to their lover as a romantic gesture. That way, part of him can still please his lover even when he’s away or not in the mood.
Dworfs with ogrish lovers warn that ogre fingers are large, rough, and tipped with hard claws, so vaginal or anal penetration probably isn’t a good idea. However, their palms are softer than the tops of their hands, so simply rubbing these areas with their palms and the pads of their fingertips can be pleasurable.
Of course no-contact sex is always an option too. If you don’t feel confident going all-in on your first big night together, some stripteasing, dirty talk, or mutual masturbation can be enough. This is a good opportunity to learn more about eachother before jumping into more intense stuff.
As for pleasing a male ogre...all the same things apply, really. Oral sex may or may not be an option, depending on his size and the size of his dworf lover’s mouth. Could be a tight squeeze, and she runs the risk of jaw injuries and choking, so be cautious here and know your limits.
In the same book mentioned above, a...er, “well-endowed” dworfen woman says she pleasures her ogrish boyfriend with her giant chest. That is, he sits on a chair while she stands in front of him, bouncing up and down with his penis squeezed between her breasts. Sounds like fun for everyone! Just don’t lose an eye...
An ogre might enjoy penetrating the space between a dworf’s thighs or buttocks. This is a safer alternative to vaginal or anal penetration.
If he isn’t averse to anal penetration himself, his dworfen lover can use a variety of toys for this. I don’t recommend she uses fingers or her fist, because like I said, ogres are strong. Those glutes are some of the strongest muscles in their bodies, and an ogre’s butt is not the smartest place to stick your hand if you’re a smaller species. There is at least one case of an elven man losing a whole arm this way...don’t let it happen to you!
While a dworf probably shouldn’t penetrate an ogre with their body parts, they can still stimulate the surrounding area with their hands and tongue. Handjobs are also an option, just be prepared to use both hands and get a good workout!
That’s all the advice I have at the moment. I wish you two the best! As always, the most important thing is good communication. As long as you have that, you can overcome any challenge in your relationship together.

Are there pretty trolls and ogres?
I answered a similar question recently that covers this subject pretty well. You can read the answer ---> HERE <---
In short: Trolls and ogres have their own opinions about what is beautiful, and it's quite different from what humans, for example, find beautiful.
But I'll say that there are certainly trolls and ogres out there who meet a more "human" standard of beauty, as in some humans might find them pretty. Features that most humans find attractive tend to be considered unattractive by most trolls and ogres though, so it's all subjective.

So ogres will start fighting if there are to many of them in one area? What about ogre armys? Can there be such thing or will they just start killing there fellow soldiers before they get to the battle field?
I feel like soldiers wouldn't have this problem as much, considering they're specifically trained to stay calm in high-stress situations. They would be able to ignore their violent urges and cooperate with the other ogres around them.
Most Great Kingdom militaries set a high bar for entry. They won't just accept any unhinged yahoo who can't control themselves. All soldiers--ogres included--have to pass some form of boot camp and rigorous training. They have to prove that they're both physically and mentally fit before they're shipped off to war.
I'm not saying it never happens, but I can't see military ogres turning on their own battalions very often. Realistically I think they would have that crap trained out of them by the time they saw their first battle.
Among regular civilians though, it's a problem. Ever see a mosh pit full of teenage ogres? You do NOT want to get caught in the middle of that madness...Talk about a bloodbath.

What about an Ogre, how can I woo them?
Ogres have a similar phenomenon going on as trolls, where nasty smells seem pleasant to them and vice versa. However, their sense of smell isn't quite as keen as trolls', and scents aren't as important to them either.
When it comes to sexual attraction, ogres are quite visual. They first look at a potential mate's size, and the bigger the better. This goes for both sexes.
Ogre males are attracted to large, strong, loud females with rougher, bumpier hides. They want a female who can quake the ground with her tail and slap the heads off her opponents with one swipe. A rougher, more scarred-up hide indicates that she's been in more fights and has more battle experience. Likewise, females who are small, delicate, and smooth-skinned are not as attractive. Male ogres don't appreciate shy, timid females. They want a waifu who throws her weight around, speaks with loud confidence, and takes charge in her community.
As for females, they like big, fat males with long, well-kept tusks. Fatness is a good indicator that his family is well-to-do and that he comes from a good mother who provides for him. In traditional ogre societies, females are the breadwinners who work and defend their families, while males play a more domestic role. A male with long, clean tusks means he's not out getting in a bunch of fights and he practices good self-care. For this reason, males spend a lot of time brushing, polishing, and decorating their tusks to draw more attention to them.
What if you're not an ogre yourself, but you'd like to win the heart of one? Let's say you're a human female seeking an ogre male. You may be thinking "Oh man, I'm puny and weak compared to him! I'll never impress him at my size!"
But you'd be wrong! You don't necessarily have to be stronger than him to win his heart, you just have to display great strength relative to your size. So yeah, maybe he sees an ogress throwing heavy boulders over her head to his left, and that's pretty hot. But to his right, he sees a human female beating the shit out of another human who's bigger than her, and that's really hot. She also projects her voice loudly and doesn't take guff from anyone. She approaches giant minotaurs with confidence and shows no fear. That male ogre is now very interested in getting to know this feisty little human better. When wooing a male ogre, you don't necessarily have to be big and strong. Sometimes just projecting the illusion that you're big and strong is enough to catch their interest.
If you're a non-ogre male trying to woo a female ogre, the technique is quite a bit different. The most important thing is to appear like you're well-loved by your family and yourself. To female ogres, this means looking well-fed and well-groomed. Being on the chunkier side is a bonus, but you shouldn't be so fat that your health suffers for it, because this will have the opposite effect and make her think you're neglecting your health. Female ogres really pay attention to the state of a male's teeth, so make sure you're extra meticulous about flossing and brushing after every meal. Damaged and missing teeth are a sign of self-neglect, aggressive behavior, and poor health. Take care to moisturize your skin regularly and cover up any scars, which are also a sign that you're irresponsible or fight a lot. In ogre cultures, fighting is considered a feminine activity.
Like males, female ogres appreciate a confident demeanor. Shyness and timidness won't get you anywhere. Don't appear arrogant, but make it clear that you you can handle anything that life throws at you without worry, and you will win her heart.
Things get a little muddier with same-sex attraction, but in general, what a gay or lesbian ogre looks for in a partner are the same traits straight ones look for. Lesbian ogres want a female who is strong and dominant. Gay ogres want a male who is well-kept and confident.
Of course every ogre is their own unique person, and what's attractive to one individual might be repulsive to another. The above information is a very broad generalization for their species.

Are there any theories about the origin of commoners
There are many, but here are some of the more notable ones...
-Lindism is a human-centered religion. Lindists believe that humans were the first peoples created by Gaia, and that she created them in her own image. Because of this, they are the "perfect" species and the highest form that one can reincarnate into. Sinful humans are believed to reincarnate into other species of commoner as punishment for their sins. If they repent, they can reincarnate as a human again in the next life.
-Some believe that commoners were once magical, but that Gaia stripped their magical abilities from them as punishment for some kind of sin their ancient ancestors committed.
-The ancient Koesh believed that roshava were once a two-armed people like all the rest and no taller than humans. But when their roshavan god and goddess made love, they intertwined themselves so tightly that their bodies combined and became one, turning them into a tall four-armed creature. This creature became pregnant from the love it made with itself and gave birth to thousands of four-armed roshava who would populate the region.
-There are some bigoted groups who believe that trolls and ogres are not people, but intelligent beasts.

I’m surprised Ogres have children so quickly, and their kids also grow up fast, you’d think being THE strongest peoples on Looming Gaia, with few flaws outside of lack of Innovation and being unable to sweat would make them breed more slowly, so That they don’t curbstomp the other commoners. (I mean, even Evangeline has incredible difficulty fighting Ogre tribes!) How come they breed so quickly?
Good point!
I will say that Ogre psychology doesn't work quite the same way as human psychology, or most other species for that matter. Humans are very social creatures who like to be in large groups of their own kind. By comparison, ogres are like "lone wolves". They naturally prefer to be in smaller groups than other species, which is one of the reasons why you don't see huge ogre-dominated civilizations. Even the ogre tribes which have been around for thousands of years are still roughly the same size they were in ancient times.
Traditionally, ogre tribes tend to split once they reach a certain size. Ogres lack the natural sense of innovation that some other species have, so instead of developing new technologies to deal with overpopulation issues, they tribe simply breaks into smaller groups that head off for greener pastures.
You will find lots of small ogre tribes scattered around the world, but very rarely will you find ones with over 1,000 individuals. Their traditional low-tech lifestyles just can't support that.
I'm not trying to say that ogres are repelled by their own kind, because that isn't exactly true. But they do experience a hormonal/psychological phenomenon when there are too many other ogres around them, where they become agitated and aggressive. The more ogres that are crammed into an area, the more aggressive they all become until there's an inevitable bloodbath. This is due to the pheromones they naturally give off. Exposure to too much of these pheromones causes a stress response.
When ogres are stressed by these pheromones, their fertility also happens to take a nosedive and it becomes harder for them to conceive. Ogresses who are already pregnant are likely to miscarriage if they’re exposed to these stress hormones for too long.
Researchers believe this phenomenon is advantageous because it protects the ogres from overpopulation. It's thought to be the driving force behind their natural tendency to keep small tribes. The ogres' size and incredible strength comes at a cost, and the cost is calories. They need a LOT more food than other peoples to survive, so even a small tribe of ogres can quickly wipe an area of its resources if they're not careful.
Ogres are a species that becomes weaker with dense populations and stronger with smaller, more spread out populations. Humans, for example, are the opposite. Humans are stronger in denser groups because psychologically, they can cope with being around very large crowds of their own kind. They have good synergy with other humans and are able to coordinate themselves in massive groups very effectively.
Ogres don’t really do this. It's not natural for them. Instead, they develop anxiety and a compulsion to lash out violently in big crowds of other ogres. (interestingly, they don't experience this in crowds of other species--only their own kind. That's why it's believed this phenomenon is not purely psychological and is partially caused by pheromone overload.)

You said ogres are usually body guards and such but can they also work white collar jobs? Im imagining an ogre in a tiny cubicle answering phones lol.
They certainly can! It's not super common, but it happens. Naturally, everyone wants to work a job they excel at. As the strongest of all peoples, ogres are in high demand for security and grunt labor positions. Why hire twenty humans when you can just hire 3 or 4 ogres to do the same amount of work? Ogres have an easier time landing these types of jobs and they tend to be paid more, so these are the jobs they usually take above others.
I want to make it clear that ogres are definitely not "dumb", but this is unfortunately how they're stereotyped by other peoples. They can apply for white collar positions all they want, but they're likely to be passed over in favor of another species that's seen as more intelligent. Not to mention their size makes it difficult for them to function in small office environments, which are typically not made for heavyweight classes because again, these species are thought to be too unintelligent for this type of work. So an ogre struggles to function in this tiny office, everyone assumes they're too dumb and clumsy for the job because of it, and it turns into this self-perpetuating cycle of discrimination.
TL;DR: Ogres CAN work white collar jobs. The hard part is actually finding someone to hire them for that type of work, because they're stereotyped as big, dumb brutes who are only good for fighting and throwing freight.

Interesting to see that the Orcs have 2 large front toes, just like the Ogres do. I’m guessing that their very close relatives, yes? Do Orcs have very short tails on them, due to this close ancestry, or no?
Yep, orcs are genetically closer to ogres than any other species. Historians describe them as "the bridge between human and ogre". They didn't have tails, and they walked totally upright like humans.
Ogres are the only known commoner species with tails. (roshava had tails in old concept art, but that has since been retconned)

We know that ogres in Looming Gaia have lairs but I feel theirs another important question I feel needs to be asked about them. Can ogres be crafty-smiths and become honorary dwarves? (If you need context, check out the DnD story Oogie the Honorary Dwarf on YouTube or Reddit , just as warning bring tissues cause it gets emotional).
Interesting concept!
Serious answer: Yes, there are plenty of ogres in the smithing/crafting industry. They're best known as soldiers and grunt workers, but ogres actually work a wide variety of jobs all over Gaia, especially in Zareen Empire. They also work in fields you wouldn't expect them to, like medical, childcare, and sales.
I don't know that any ogre would become an "honorary dworf", since species doesn't necessarily determine one's personality or way of life in the LG universe. Characters of LG are people first, species second. There is no one way for a dworf to be. There are stereotypes, but they differ by region.
Maybe if an ogre was adopted by a dworf couple, their family may consider them an honorary dworf. But I think for the most part, their family would acknowledge that they were a different species and choose to celebrate that rather than sweep it under the rug.

Given that traditional ogre culture seems pretty nymph compliant, do nymphs make an exception to the ogres in their complete disdain of commoners?
Nymphs don't really hate commoners as a species, they just defend their Mother Gaia against all who exploit her body, and the most obvious offenders for that just happen to be commoner-dominant civilizations like Zareen Empire. However there are also exceptions, such as Damijana which is fae-dominant and Etios Nation which is gaian-dominant.
Commoners aren't the only ones destroying the planet, they're just doing it in the most obvious way. Damijana is destroying it with magical technology. Unseelie Court is destroying it with unregulated magic use and a lawless culture. Matuzu is destroying it by proxy, by using Yerim-Mor as a scapegoat for their foreign factories. Evangeline and Folkvar are also destroying it by proxy, by outsourcing their dirty industry to Zareen. And Etios, despite their civilization being in the stone age, is destroying it with overpopulation and agriculture. (Creating monocultures, planting non-native crops, dumping sewage, etc)
The only Great Kingdoms that have made an honest effort to uphold the nymph pact are Mogdir, Aquarian Alliance, Lamai, and Seelie.
Given that the original ogres of Gaia lived such primitive lives with self-limiting populations, I imagine the nymphs had few problems with them. Traditionally, if an ogre tribe outgrew its environment, it would split into two and half would move on to another location that could sustain it. Whereas with humans for example, humans would just keep overpopulating and abusing the land to make it fit their needs (agriculture, industry, etc.) thus leading to the huge human-dominant civilizations that exist today. There are ogres living among them in some cases, but you don't really see ogre-dominant civilizations like this.
The closest ogres ever came to achieving this was the Burmek Commonwealth, and even then they were pretty much riding on the backs of the native gaians and commoners.

Got a very important question for you. How much could a female ogre lycanthrope lift?
It really depends on the individual! Just like humans, some ogres are much stronger than others. But I would say on average, a female ogre with lycanthropy could probably lift a few thousand pounds. Like, a couple horses in weight.
