Medusa Questions: Can the main body (For example, Chua) sense whatever their siblings sense? (For example, Chua tasting Bua downing xamali) Or is that restricted to the siblings? Also, how extensive is the communication levels between the siblings of a medusa? Can they use medusa-specific telepathy between siblings of the same medusa?

Good question! I think the medusa can sense some things and not other things.

Each sibling has their own brain, so their thoughts are their own. What they perceive by sight or smell is known only to them. They also have their own tongue, so only they taste what they eat. However, whatever they swallow does end up in the same stomach (of the medusa) so the medusa is affected by whatever it is (alcohol, for example).

There is no special telepathy that is specific to medusas. However, medusas can learn telepathy and use it to read their siblings' thoughts. Medusa siblings are not intelligent enough to learn magic spells, so this only goes one way.

Medusas can restrain their siblings when needed, using hairwraps or other headwear. This will piss the siblings off and there will likely be consequences afterwards, but it can be done in a pinch, like when they're being totally unruly. I'm sure Chua has to do this from time to time to get through important speeches uninterrupted.

I think I’m on season 7 and I hate hunt with a passion. I don’t care if he has a redemption arc. He is a peer pressurer, a slut shaming cheater, a prolifer, a fugly slut that thinks yelling is a personality. He literally looks like a sun dried tomato. He doesn’t deserve my girl Yang. Frankly I hope he dies to further the plot. I’ll literally throw a party where we watch the episode he dies if he does. I hate him so much. Honestly what is with this show and men that peer pressure their partners.

Cursing under her breath and biting her lip, Medusa pulled for her gun. Hissing from behind the mare’s ear told her it was time for action. Planting her back hooves, she lunged out from behind the cart, aiming for the balding head of the approaching raider.

His eager smile was wiped from his ugly mug as a .44 round ate its way from the front to the back of his skull.

Would albinism in a medusa be considered abnormal or auspicious? The post about serpentism has been giving me a few ideas.

Good question! I had to give this a lot of thought, and this is my conclusion:

I think albinism is possible in medusas and it does happen once in a while. But how society reacts to it depends on the culture. I think many would not care, but Serpentists and Middayist have strong opposing opinions.

Middayists believe that those with albinism are cursed, because they cannot accept Solahi's (the sun goddess) blessing. They believe that the god of darkness, Luzkuro, has cursed albinos with his dark energy, but the reason why differs depending on who you ask. Some say it's the mother's fault, because she sinned while she was pregnant (more specifically, she did not keep her environment or body hygienic enough to ward off Luzkuro). Some blame the father, or both parents, or even the child themselves. The point is, the albino person in question cannot participate in the most important Middayist ritual: sun worship. Some Middayist try to "cure" their albinism with woo remedies.

Overall, Middayists view an albino medusa as a bad omen. Medusas usually become leaders in Lamaish culture, and they do not want a "cursed" leader, as they believe it will invite Luzkuro to plague them all.

As for Serpentists, they consider albino medusas a special blessing from Maa Drakatowa (the dragon goddess). Albino medusas are almost always blind, but blindness actually gives some mages an edge in spellcasting because it forces them to focus on their other senses. Vision is not important to spellcasting, and in fact, visuals can actually cause mages to lose focus on their powers. Serpentists believe that these blind albino medusas were not robbed of their sight, but were instead blessed with abilities to see into the spirit world using secret senses known only to them.

What is the role of medusas

In traditional Lamaish culture, medusas are appointed as political leaders and high-ranking priests (these positions are often rolled into one in this kingdom, as it's a heavy-handed theocracy...)

Medusas are not born naturally or by accident, their conception is very much deliberate on behalf of the parents. It takes an intricate ritual to birth a medusa. This process is overseen by a government religious council, who choose the parents of their next leader and assist with the ritual. The moment the medusa hatches, their leadership training begins.

So many grey's anatomy fans are in love with the earlier seasons, and I understand it! But I'm really into the recently seasons too, after Derek's death. Yes characters are changed, but the new are so good too! ✨

What do you think of this things about the seasons and the characters?

I am definitely one of those that prefers the earlier seasons if I had to pick. They just hold a very special place in my heart. But I still do like the later seasons too, post derek.

If I'm being honest though, the past two years have been ehh for me. Last season I didn't keep up with it. I just caught up over the summer. And I haven't seen any of the current season. I haven't really decided if I'm going to keep going. I might do the same thing and just watch it all over summer. But it just feels like an entirely different show to me.

I'm so glad that people have been able to fall in love with the new seasons and have that connection!

3. This is gonna surprise people but Susan Grey really made me sad. I don't really think it was about her per-say. I think it was just that she was someone who was finally helping meredith deal with her issues with her father, and I really did feel like she did care about meredith. And then she was gone and everything just blew up.

2. Derek Shepherd of course. Even though I saw it coming. I knew it was gonna happen, even though everyone thought I was crazy. I JUST KNEW IT. It still hit me hard.

And the number 1 spot goes to Lexie Grey. That death DEVASTATED me. And still does to this day. She just didn't deserve to go out like that...

I'm a super Grey's fan and I've loved all the characters of this serie!

Do you have any other favorite characters after the others died or left?

Oh this is a good one!

We can all guess that Mer is my number one. But Lexie Grey is a close second, and I was wrecked when she died. They brought Jo in right after that, so I didn't really want to like another character right then but honestly, I love Jo a lot.

But also a huge honorable mention to Amelia Shepherd. She's just so real to me.
