How can you selfship with Caesar if he's gay?

Firstly, there is no evidence of Caesar's sexuality in the anime. There's just as much evidence to suggest that he's gay and/or herero (the scenes with doffies, versus the scenes with the girls bought with big mom's money). Oda has never officially declared the sex of this character.

But that's not really what's important here, is it?

Personally, I like seeing Caesar bisexual because of the different “proofs” we get from the anime. And I like to see him ship/drawn with men or fans ( I'm thinking of askmasterCaesar for example, who did some great drawings of openly gay Caesar, and I thought it was cute )

If I insert myself with it, it's because it relaxes me. Drawing him like that with me just makes me happy, and it cheers me up when I'm not feeling well. It's silly, but it's all about me. self inserts don't hurt anyone, and everyone has the right to do what they want with their favorite character, as long as it's done with respect for the character, and we're still other fans too.
