She ponders, thinking over the question. “I’m sure I do have some good ones, everyone has a different opinion of what consists of a good story.” She then looks back down on the young purple haired swordsman. “Would you like to hear one since you are so curious?” she asks.

I'd be interested in trying this Robert Special, since I heard it's not harmful... *holds out some money* I can pay, too.

Typhon looks at the money and takes a few random coins, keeping a copper one out in front of him as he sizes you up, **Rolls natural 20 for Perception, total of 36** and takes out a large stone crucible, a pot and pan pair, along with water and a few chocolate bars. While starting to melt the chocolate, he strikes up a conversation.

“So, a pirate and a swordsman? I guess all kinds fit in Ceristas. I hope you like chocolate, someone paid their tab a few days ago with it. Weird guy, but hey, the bag of holding it came in was nice enough.” As the chocolate melts, he takes a few flasks from his bandolier and mixes them in one at a time, turning the mixture from brown, to green, to blue, and finally red. **Natural 20 on Craft Alchemy, total of 40** He pours the mixture into the crucible before taking a large jug of what seems to be grog from the shelf and dropping it in the crucible, glass an all, before quickly slamming the top of the crucible on it.

“Things get a bit lively here some nights, other nights a bit calmer. You know the first week I was here some folks tried to mug me, twice! First time went fine, talked it out. The second time had to be solved with bombs and my trident. The guards were not happy. I think there’s a martial school somewhere next to the church district, if you want some practice you could go there” **Rolls 6 for Strength check, total of 8, failed by 2.** After finishing his sentence, the crucible starts to rumble before the lid breaks free and shoots up through the roof. Typhon looks slightly dismayed, then shrugs as he takes a stone mug from beneath the bar and pours the remaining concoction into it, dropping the copper piece in as the smoke goes from grey to purple.

“Here you go, one Robert Special. If you like it, maybe share the idea with your captain and crew! I’m always willing to make more, though I’ll need to find that lid, the dwarf who made it is currently incapacitated, and I’m banned from the stone mason’s shop for the next couple weeks.” As you take a drink, you feel its effects wash over you. Your hair has become wispy and wavy, like the smoke blowing through the new hole in the roof. You feel as strong as a walrus and as swift as a seal, getting +4 to Strength and Dexterity for the next 3 hours. You also hear something talking to you at your side, as it seems your sword has gained lips and ears. Nobody else seems it notice that though, best keep it to yourself.

Luffyko was sure she’d never find her soulmate. All her friends had found theirs by now and Luffyko was still without one. She heard stories that sometimes people could end up without ever finding their soulmate, but that just made her sad thinking that she would never find that person that would be just for her. At one point she had dated a man called Law, but that didn’t work out so well for either them.

Luffyko had since then mostly given up on ever finding her soulmate, but was still holding onto a silver of hope that maybe that person was out there. Luffyko had to get to work today and so far was failing at making it there. It was pouring outside and she had forgotten her umbrella too so that didn’t help. If she showed up at the gym, where she worked, all covered in mud that would be bad. Her manager sure wouldn’t be pleased with her, and she had already gotten in trouble these past few days and didn’t want to get him more mad.

Currently she was trying to figure out how to run to the bus stop on the other side of the street without falling flat on her face or getting soaked to the bone. As a car drove by splashing water just barely missing her, that task seemed impossible. “Seriously not one of you cars can slow down?” she grumbled to herself. Looking at both sides of the street Luffyko dared to cross the street dodging cars and hearing angry honks at her. She made it to the bus stop and cheered. “I made it!” She had managed to cross the street without getting dirty or too wet. Sitting on the dry bus station seat, she let out a pleased sigh.

When she looked up she saw another girl, and it didn’t seem like luck was on her side. The girl was also trying to get to the same bus stop as Luffyko was at. She could tell since she kept looking at where Luffyko was. The purple haired girl dashed across the street and just when Luffyko thought she would get away dry, a car came and splashed water soaking the girl’s back. Luffyko couldn’t help but let out a laugh seeing the girl’s face scrunch up in disgust as she made the walk of soaking to Luffyko and sat next to her. “It’s not that funny” the girl mumbles. Luffyko giggles “I’m sorry I couldn’t help myself. You just looked so pleased and then the car came and got you wet. ”“I was happy. I thought I would stay mostly dry, but now I got to go to the gym wet” she groans. “Which gym?” asks Luffyko. “The one where the cafe with the fish sign is” she replies.“Oh! That’s where I work at. I can dry your clothes for you there” she says. “I’m Luffyko by the way” Luffyko moves her hand out to shake the girls’ hand. The girl smiles and shakes her hand “Kai nice to meet you” Luffyko smiled and then gasped seeing the girl’s chest glow. Looking down she saw her own chest glow and smiled. “I finally found you!” she cheered hugging Kai.Kai let out a surprised yelp blushing. “Ah, well I didn’t think I’d meet my soulmate soaked by the rain, but oh well”
