I like both!!

Bayonetta is a similar game genre to this one Nightmare Before Christmas game I used to play when I was little, so the first time I played it I got a wave of nostalgia believe it or not. Course this game is better built.

You can actually think out combos, how to keep a long running combo, and which method is better in damage or speed (I’m guilty of beating them too fast to the point I get terrible scores in combos, but always a platinum in time).

The second game actually “feels” slower, and is easier than the first, and I’m not sure how I feel about that. Or maybe that’s just because I’ve been playing Bayonetta 1 the past week, then switched to 2 just two days ago.

Also Bayonetta herself is super cool!! I love her. Her confidence and reassurance makes me feel reassured and confident! She does a lot of 4th wall breakers with her looks at the player and such too, and it’s like “Aye buddy, we’re in this together!”

So it's more of a situtation of "My dear old friend sonic fell into a bottomless pit and died the other day." "Quit telling people I'm dead, Baldy McNosehair!" "I can still hear his voice."

That quote is completely accurate when told from either end.

*randomly asks you a nights question totally randomly* Do you NiGHTS didn't tell Will about Helen and vice-versa because they were afraid the two would become friends and ditch NiGHTS and they would be all alone again with no one but Owl to keep them company?

Well we kind of know it’s implied Visitor’s dreams are set in their own Nightopias. And we also know it’s pretty likely there more than one kid experiences NiGHTS at once. Owl is even surprised upon hearing Helen met Will in the first place, because of how unusual it was and even called it a ill-omen.

I know we’ve been told the story in NiGHTS is a lot like Peter Pan’s in a sense  that “this has happened many times before, and it’ll happen again,” where even the parents of Wendy remembered seeing Peter Pan. The same is applied for NiGHTS.

So I don’t think NiGHTS was purposely keeping anything from Will and Helen, it just wasn’t relevant information.

Do you ever have artblocks? How do you get over it?

I do! But they’re usually like… Not having the feel to draw.But either without and idea or not feeling up to it. Usually I make it up as I go. Like if I see something that looks nice? And I have no idea or don’t feel like drawing what I usually do, I’ll draw it.I’ll just draw something random and see if I get into it. If you’re out in about maybe look at what’s going on around you and draw “inspiration” from. Maybe you see a cool outfit someone is wearing, and want to draw it on a character. Or maybe you saw an entire shape in the clouds you want to transform into something. Maybe you see a cool character on your dash or in a logo you want to try and draw.Another thing I do sometimes to spark inspiration is take my dolls/action figures/stuffed animals/etc, and pose them together and draw them together and while drawing pretend to make some kind of story behind it. (Like I used to do when I was little—playing with toys!) It’s a great way to work out skills, create “stories” and sometimes you get silly stuff like Zak Saturday being suspicious of Bill Cipher, or the Solider asking Mami Tomoe to use her gun skills in the Gravel Wars, or Sonic mistaking a Greninja for Espio. You could always do redraws of things. Maybe of a scene you liked in a cartoon, or one you think could be improved on, or something you just want to see in a different kind of style. Stuff like that, and humanizations(from anything to a non-human character or even a chair you thought was pretty!) are great ways to work out drawing skills. Bigger redraws can assist in how you draw scene layouts, redraws of lets plays can help make body/expression and creatives more out of the box. And humanizations are a fun way to stretch design skills. Maybe even draw scenes from books, or fanfiction. Also if you have any original projects, when you’re in a rut, it’s nice to try and draw out character sheets and studies. Example: maybe you wanna think out a way a character handles a stressful situation. So you draw some things based on that. Because it brings new ideas.TLDR; Find something that might spark an interest to make you draw. And usually it’ll blossom from there. You might be in a rut and just need something different to get you drawing.

Okay, so how did Mephiles get the 'Shadow' form in the first place? If he was always with Elise...how did he get that form?

He had escaped from the scepter of darkness the same way he did in the game. But he went back in time because he figured a younger Elise would cry easier (he hadn’t met her prior). From there Elise befriended him and stayed with her since then.
