Would Jasmine be able to deny this being true if someone says that her "friend", Sora, has this?
“That explains so much about him.” Jasmine muttered softly as she looked at her ‘friend’ with now understanding expression.

Do you think it was more than mere coincidence that Agrabah in the Aladdin tv series turned out to be a major hotspot for all the many various magical threats across the Seven Desert Kingdoms in the Disneyverse?
Possibly, though, it could just be a question of location. They do seem to be nicely situated in the middle of a whole bunch of fantastic places x)
Also we're following Aladdin and Jasmine who just seem to have a knack for getting into magical scrapes, if not actively seeking them out.

“Fated” - Killian Jones x Princess!Reader
Masterlist
Pairing: Killian Jones x Princess of Agrabah!Reader
Summary: Years after a short but unforgettable meeting with Captain Killian Jones in Agrabah, you’ve moved on and are now engaged. But when a visit to your sister reunites you with the pirate who once captured your heart, old feelings resurface, challenging your resolve. As your wedding day draws near, you're caught between the life you’ve chosen and the love you thought you had left behind. In a world where duty and desire collide, you must decide if you’ll follow your heart or honor your obligations.
Warnings: Angst, unrequited(ish) love, mentions of an arranged marriage, possible cliffhanger
The sands of Agrabah seemed like a lifetime ago. The memories of warm desert nights and the aroma of exotic spices filled your mind as you looked out over the familiar horizon, lost in thoughts of what once was—and what could never be again. It had been years since you last saw him, and you had tried so hard to leave that chapter behind. You had even convinced yourself that you had succeeded. Until a night weeks ago… Fate has a strange way of dredging up the past when you least expect it.
When Jasmine invited you to visit Storybrooke, you thought it would be a chance to escape the pressures of your upcoming marriage, a way to clear your mind before stepping into your future with Amir, the noble prince to whom you were now engaged. You didn’t expect to find the one man who could unravel all your family’s carefully laid plans with just a glance. It had been a quiet night in the small town, the air thick with the scent of pine and earth—so different from the heady perfumes of Agrabah. You had just stepped out of Granny’s Diner, the warmth of the cozy establishment clinging to your skin, when you heard a voice you thought you’d never hear again.
“Y/n?”
You froze, the world around you falling away. It was impossible. This was Storybrooke, a world far removed from the one you had shared with him. And yet, there he was, standing before you. Captain Killian Jones. The pirate who had stolen more than just little trinkets from Agrabah all those years ago.
“Killian,” you whispered, your voice barely audible. The sight of him sent your heart into a frenzy, memories crashing over you like waves against a rocky shore.
He took a step closer, his eyes scanning your face as if trying to convince himself that you were real. “I never thought I’d see you again,” he murmured, his voice laced with a mixture of wonder and pain.
You swallowed hard, your mind racing to catch up with your emotions. “I didn’t expect to see you either,” you admitted, forcing yourself to maintain your composure. “What are you doing here?”
“I might ask you the same question, love,” he replied, a hint of his old roguish charm creeping into his voice. “But it seems our paths were destined to cross once more.”
Destined. The word lingered in the air, heavy with the weight of all the things left unsaid. But before either of you could say more, another voice cut through the tension—a voice that pulled you sharply back to reality.
“Y/n, there you are.”
You turned to see Prince Amir, your fiancé, approaching with a warm smile. He was every bit the regal, composed prince you had always imagined marrying—kind, honorable, and dedicated to his people. But standing there between him and Killian, the contrast between the two men was stark.
“Amir,” you greeted, your voice faltering slightly as you tried to compose yourself. “This is Killian Jones, an… old friend from Agrabah.”
“An old friend,” Amir repeated, his smile tightening as he shook Killian’s hand. “How fortunate that you should meet again. Though, I do hope this is a brief reunion. We have much to attend to before our return to Agrabah.” The words hung in the air like a death sentence. You knew what Amir was implying, and so did Killian. You could feel the weight of your impending marriage bearing down on you, the choices you had made now seeming more suffocating than ever. You could feel Amir’s gaze on you, but at that moment, it didn’t matter. All you cared about was the man standing before you, the one who had haunted your dreams for years.
“I won’t keep you,” Killian said, though his eyes never left yours. “But perhaps, before you leave, the princess might spare a moment for an old friend?”
Amir looked like he wanted to refuse, but you placed a calming hand on his arm. “It’s alright, Amir. I’ll see you at home in a bit.”
Amir stiffened beside you, but he didn’t object. With a slight nod, he released your arm. “I’ll be waiting,” he said, though his eyes held a warning that this conversation couldn’t last long. As Amir walked away, you turned back to Killian, your heart pounding in your chest. He finally faced you, his expression unreadable.
“Killian,” you began, but he cut you off with a shake of his head.
“Don’t,” he said, his voice raw. “Just… tell me, are you happy? Is this what you truly want?”
As you stood there, with Killian so close, memories of your time together in Agrabah flooded back. The secret meetings, the whispered conversations, the way he made you feel like the world was full of endless possibilities.
“I don’t know,” you admitted, your voice trembling. “Everything’s changed. I’ve changed.”
“But have your feelings?” he pressed, stepping closer, his voice low and urgent. “Tell me you don’t feel the same way, and I’ll walk away. But if there’s even a part of you that still cares for me…”
“Killian, I—”
You stopped, the words catching in your throat as the past rushed back to you. You remembered the first time you met Killian in Agrabah.
You were a princess, living a life of luxury and duty, content with your role until he sailed into your world. The moment you met him, something shifted inside you. He was everything you were supposed to avoid—dangerous, unpredictable, a rogue. But you couldn’t help it. You were drawn to him, like a moth to a flame. Days turned into nights as you spent more time together, sneaking away from the palace to explore the vibrant streets of Agrabah, talking for hours about your dreams and fears. And somewhere along the way, you fell in love with him. But you never told him. How could you? You were a princess, bound by duty and tradition, while he was a pirate, free to live by his own rules. The love you felt was a secret, something you kept close to your heart even as you knew it could never be.
Then one day, he was gone. No warning, no goodbye. Just… gone. You tried to forget him, to move on, but the memory of him lingered like a shadow that refused to fade.
Now, standing here in Storybrooke with him so close, those old feelings came rushing back. But the reality of your situation was unavoidable. You were engaged. Your life was set on a different path, one you had no choice but to follow.
“Killian, I can’t,” you whispered, your heart breaking as you spoke the words. “I wish I could, but I can’t.”
His face fell, the hope in his eyes fading to sorrow. “I lost you once,” he said quietly, “and now it seems fate is determined to keep us apart again.”
“I haven’t forgotten,” you said, your breath hitching. “But those were just dreams, Killian. They could never be real. You reminded me of that when you left”
“It was a mistake.” he pleaded, his eyes searching yours for answers. “Why can’t we make them real, Y/n? What’s stopping you from choosing your own happiness?”
You glanced down at the engagement ring on your finger, the symbol of a life you had agreed to—a life that, until this moment, you had convinced yourself was the right path. But standing here with Killian, all those certainties seemed to crumble.
“My family, my people… they expect me to marry Amir,” you said, your voice barely above a whisper. “He’s a good man, Killian. He’ll be a good husband and an ally for Agrabah. I owe it to them—to everyone—to fulfill my duty.”
“Duty,” Killian scoffed, his expression hardening. “What about your duty to yourself? What about what you want, Y/n?”
The tears you had been holding back finally spilled over, and you shook your head, helpless against the torrent of emotions that overwhelmed you. “I don’t know what I want anymore,” you confessed, your voice trembling. “All I know is that I can’t abandon my responsibilities. I can’t be selfish, no matter how much it hurts.”
Killian’s gaze softened, and he took your hand in his, his touch gentle despite the turmoil in his eyes. “Loving someone isn’t selfish,” he said quietly. “It’s the most selfless thing you can do. But if you truly believe you’ll be happier with him, then I won’t stand in your way.”
Your heart ached at his words, and for a brief moment, you considered taking his hand and running away from it all—escaping the chains of duty and expectation that bound you. But reality crashed back in, and you knew you couldn’t do it. You couldn’t abandon your family, your kingdom, your people. Not even for him.
“I’m sorry,” you whispered, the words tasting like ash on your tongue. “I wish things were different, but this is the life I have to live.”
Killian stared at you for a long moment, his expression unreadable. Then, with a heavy sigh, he let go of your hand. “Then this is goodbye, Princess,” he said, his voice hollow.
You nodded, though the tears continued to fall. “Goodbye, Killian.”
He turned and walked away, each step taking him further from you, from the life you could have had together. As you watched him disappear into the night, a part of you died, knowing that you would never see him again. You were stuck frozen for a while, watching as Killian walked away until a notification from my phone pulled me out of my thoughts.
‘Why did Amir just walk into the house looking like he’s going to kill someone?’ Jasmine’s text stated, making you smile sadly. As you glanced up briefly towards the direction of where Killian walked before making your way back home. You had barely talked to Amir that night, choosing to let it go as you both spent the night packing and getting ready to return back to Agrabah.
The following day, the weight of your decision pressed down on you like a physical burden. You moved through the preparations for your departure from Storybrooke in a daze, your mind replaying the events of the previous night over and over. You knew you had made the right choice—at least, that’s what you kept telling yourself—but the pain of it lingered, a constant ache in your chest. As you gathered with Jasmine, Aladdin, Amir, and the others for the journey back to Agrabah, you felt the walls closing in around you. The return to your homeland should have been a comfort, a reminder of the duty you had to fulfill. But instead, it felt like a prison sentence.
Killian was there, of course—part of the group accompanying you back. But he kept his distance, his demeanor cool and detached. It was as if he had already accepted your decision and moved on. But you knew better. You could see the tension in his jaw, the way his hands clenched at his sides whenever Amir was near. The journey to Agrabah was long and silent, each passing day a reminder of the life you were leaving behind—the life you could have had if only you had been brave enough to choose it. And now, as the sun dipped below the horizon on the night before your wedding, you found yourself standing alone on the balcony of your chambers, staring out at the party happening in the courtyard. Everyone seemed so happy…so excited for the wedding, so why weren’t you feeling the same? You couldn’t bring yourself to join in. Your thoughts were consumed by the man you had left behind, the one who had walked away from you without looking back…twice.
You were so lost in thought that you didn’t hear the soft footsteps behind you until it was too late. “You’re not celebrating.”
You turned, startled to find Killian standing there, his expression unreadable. The sight of him took your breath away, and for a moment, all the emotions you had tried to bury came rushing back.
“No,” you replied quietly, your voice barely above a whisper. “I needed some air.”
He nodded, his gaze flicking to the horizon. “It’s a beautiful night,” he said, his voice soft. “Perfect for a celebration.”
“Is that why you’re here?” you asked, unable to keep the bitterness from your tone. “To celebrate?”
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I’m here to say goodbye,” he said, his voice heavy with regret. “For real this time.”
Your heart clenched at his words, and you looked away, unable to meet his gaze. “I thought we already said our goodbyes,” you whispered.
“Not properly,” he replied, stepping closer. “There’s something I need to tell you before I leave.”
You glanced at him, your pulse quickening. “What is it?”
He hesitated, as if weighing his words carefully. Then, with a deep breath, he spoke.
“I love you, Y/n.” he said, his voice low and intense. “I’ve loved you since the moment I met you, and I don’t think I’ll ever stop. But I can’t stay here and watch you marry someone else. It’ll kill me.”
The tears you had been holding back all night finally spilled over, and you shook your head, your chest aching with the pain of it all. “Killian, please don’t do this,” you pleaded, your voice breaking. “I’m sorry, I can’t—“
“Don’t,” he interrupted, his voice firm but gentle. “Don’t apologize, love. I’m not here to make things harder for you. I just needed you to know how I felt, before I walk away for good.” You took a shaky breath, your mind spinning with a thousand conflicting emotions. You had made your choice, and you knew it was the right one—but hearing Killian’s confession made you question everything.
He smiled softly, though the sadness in his eyes was unmistakable. “Take care of yourself, Princess,” he said, his voice soft and full of longing. “Be happy. You owe it to yourself.” And with that, he turned and walked away, disappearing into the shadows of the night. You watched him go, your heart breaking all over again. As the door to your chambers closed behind him, the reality of your decision settled over you like a shroud. Tomorrow, you would marry Amir and fulfill the duties expected of you. But tonight, you allowed yourself to grieve for the love you had lost—for the life you could never have.
The sands of Agrabah stretched out before you, endless and unforgiving. And as you stared out into the night, you knew that no matter how much time passed, a part of you would always belong to Killian Jones but this was the price you had to pay. The price of being a princess.

“True Beauty” -"United we stand, divided we fall"
⋆˚࿔ Fancy carpet from Kuro𝜗𝜚˚⋆ :: a carpet to fly away
― ʚ summary ɞ ― Killua x reader Aladdin Au
― ʚ words ɞ ― 1k+
― ʚ warning ɞ ― mention of theft
― ʚ author note ɞ ― certainly you can Killua might be the only one I write with what you ask since it takes a while, but I might do Illumi version but as Headcanons and not full as story
You are known as quite the troublemaker around Agrabah, enough that the loyal family heard about you specifically the young prince Killua, who was curious about you I mean you seem like troubles but then again you seem like a lot of fun? Is that a word he can use? He's certainly unsure especially since he has a maniac for a mother
Killua was outside playing with Mike when suddenly his father came out with some news, some that made him be quite unhappy and even mad
"Killua"
"hm? What is it father?"
"to put it simply and fast, you will be getting engaged"
"I be what?!"
"you will be getting engaged"
"do I even get to choose who? Or most importantly aren't I too young? Why won't Illumi get engaged?!"
"You get to choose among royal people as to why, it's because I want you to be an heir, and Illumi already chose quite the odd fiancé"
"so because of that I'm next what about Milluki?"
"I don't think anybody would want to date him, willingly I mean"
"...you do have a point there, but-"
"no buts Killua, you do that whether you like it or not"
Before Killua could say something Sliva left to drink some wine with his wine
"well crap"
"now what should I do, I don't want to marry some spoiled ass brat, or one who certainly can't do anything else then lay around"
୨⎯ "With you" ⎯୧
Well fuck, you certainly a lesson for future thief to never have a monkey for a companion, you currently running from a shop seller after Abu you monkey took the sellers banana, and well you currently running as fast as you can since well you certainly don't want to be arrested maybe executed
"Abu just why did you have to take that Banana?!"
"hoo hoo hah Banana"
"...yeah you took a very nice banana but why? Also it looks like it's expired"
When you said that Abu spited the banana he had in his mouth
"Well it seems like I was correct"
You eventually lost the sales man and landed on the ground luckily not breaking your feet
"There we g- ouch!"
You bumped onto someone when you looked up it was a man that was dressed in black and red, he had a snake scepter, honestly his turban did a bad job you could see his back hair and a interesting mark on his forehead
"ah I'm so sorry I didn't mean to"
"hm I recognize you, you that thief person aren't you?"
"ahh... maybe?"
"hmmm, you know what I won't tell anybody where you are if you do something for me"
"and what would that be?"
"Just follow me"
"okayyy?"
You follow the man who during the walk introduced himself as Chrollo, eventually you got yourself to what it seems to be a cave
"mind I ask what you want me to do?"
"to put it simply to someone with your knowledge"
"hey!"
"forgive me, inside of the cave there's a golden lamp, I want you to get it for me"
"alright I suppose?"
You walked inside the cave and started looking for the said lamp until you heard a noise, Chrollo was moving a lock blocking the cave
"Hey wait!"
And he blocked it
"you have to be kidding me!"
You sat down on a pile of golden coins with Abu sitting down on your shoulder patting your head, Abu eventually noticed something and started jumping hitting you head
"Ow! Abu what do you want- oh it's a lamp, wait a lamp!"
You ran towards it almost tripping on the coins and gems, you eventually got to it
"hmm I wonder what is so special about it"
you were looking at it from different angles, eventually rubbing it until pink smoke appeared and a genie appeared
"well hello there, my name is Bisky ane and I'm a genie I will grant you 3 wishes but I can't kill anyone, can't make people fall in love and can't bring anyone back from the dead."
"you have quite a loud voice"
"you little! Ehh anyway do you have a first wish?"
"uhh wait what's your name"
"My name is [Y/N] and I wish to get out of here with Abu, my monkey"
"ahh okay then, you wish is my command"
And boom you outside with Bisky floating around you
"alright got the second wish?"
"not yet, you seem to really want me to make them fast"
"yes, that's because after that I'm going on vacation"
"that sounds nice, anyway I'm going to go and continue what I used to do"
"ah is that so, don't forget the lamp"
"I won't"
You returned back home and before anything someone ran into you
"Sorry I didn't mean to"
"it's al- wait aren't you the prince"
"...am I that recognizable?"
"who else has white hair here except you and your father?!"
"you have a good point, anyway could you hide me please?"
"ah sure? Uhh come fast"
Killua followed you and slowly he started to realize, you are the thief he heard about so much, honestly you looked cuter in person, after a few minutes you both alived at your house
"this day seems to be after me"
"hm? What do you mean"
"ah nothing much, anyway what going on?"
"my parents want me to find a fiancé"
"...wait aren't you still a kid"
"Royalty stuff plus they want me to be the heir"
"ah, alright then"
"and you ran off because you don't want that?"
"Yeah I did"
"trust me you won't be able to hide here for too long"
"you think I don't know that?"
"how am I supposed to know, trust me I know barely anything outside of stealing"
"You don't!?"
"no?! Fun fact you highness, our knowledge is far lower then yours"
"Alright let's stop yelling"
"I agree"
"so what am I supposed to do?"
"go back"
"what?! You nuts?!"
"no I'm not, think about it maybe just maybe one of those people will be nice just go back and see"
"ugh, alright I guess"
"great"
After that Killua left and returned, honestly he probably already chose his fiancé sadly the said person isn't a royalty, and as to you, you absolutely regret letting him go oh I think I forgot to mention you LOVED the prince dearly
"well that's interesting"
"holy shit! You scared me"
"sorry, I'm quite curious who's that?"
"Prince Killua he's one of the royalty, and may I say he's"
"cool?"
"amazing! He got those blue eyes and adorable smile, and his white hair"
"well sorry to say one of my rules said I can't make anybody fall in love with you"
"true... Wait but there is something else"
"hm? What would it be"
"Bisky right? I wish to become royalty"
"...oh you are quite sly, but anyway you wish is my command"
And it happened you got quite fancy clothing very fit for royalty and Bisky also changed into what it seems her human clothes with clothes you would assume would be for right hand woman or man
"well let's let Agrabah know about the arrival of the princess/prince Sanad"
"yeah let's do that"
୨⎯ "With Killua"⎯୧
I was sitting on a podium with my family, according to them few royalty were going to show up and have a little parade to introduce themselves, I was getting bored until the arrival of a parade full of elephants and a song sung by a girl that looked my age, on a top was a person whp according to the girl it was princess/prince Sanad
Prince Ali Song-by Will Smith
After the parade, I could talk to one of the royalty and was surprising to few people that I chose Sanad, while talking they told me to go out into my balcony at exactly midnight
୨⎯ "Midnight"⎯୧
Just as princesses/prince Sanad said I went outside and saw them but on a flying carpet?! They held their hand out and helped me get into the carpet, and it went flying around Agrabah
A Whole New World-Song by Zayn and Zhavia Ward
After that we arrived back onto my balcony and I couldn't help but laugh, after that they looked a bit upset while thinking before dropping a bomb on me
"I'm not actually royalty nor is my name Sanad"
"Wait then who are you?"
"[Y/N] the thief"
"that's even better!"
"Huh?!"
"it's quite odd to say for royalty like me, but I liked you as a thief now I find out the person I l also started liking is the same person"
"that made no sense"
"I know now shush, now [Y/N] will you do me the honour and let me become you fiancé?"
"wait that about your parents"
"don't worry about them I'll deal with them"
And Killua did as he said he begged his parents to let you become his fiancé and they said yes, after that you had your last wish for Bisky to become a full human and it was granted but not before one little part of Chrollo being banished, why? Well during your fun with Killua he tried to encourage Killua parents to let him become a king but well that didn't work, and you finally lived happily ever after with Killua as your fiancé.

A whole new city
Request by @princeasimdiya12 : So based on Disney's Aladdin, can you write a one shot with Aladdin and Jasmine as an elderly couple and seeing how much Agrabah has changed for the better please? As in they helped create programs to promote better support for the less fortunate which also reduced crime rates. What do you think?
Warnings: Aladdin and jasmine old, think about the past, progress of a city, love, fluff
Considerations: Sooooo...this is the first Fanfiction that i ever write and published, i hope that you can enjoy the reading of it and the way that I wrote it down. Let me know with a feedback ❤️
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The sun was setting low over the vast expanse of Agrabah. The palace-fortress still stood proud in the heart of the city.
Aladdin leaned against the railing of the balcony, a familiar spot that offered him a breathtaking view of the city he loved so much. His hair had turned silver, his once youthful face had softened with age, marked by the presence of a few wrinkles around his eyes and a goatee now as gray as the one his father once wore. Next to him, Princess Jasmine, now queen, sat comfortably in a plush chair, her hair streaked with gray locks, still plastered as it was when she was younger
"Look at it, Al," she said, her voice melodious and warm. "Can you believe how much she has changed?" Aladdin nodded, a smile tugging at his lips. "It's incredible. I remember when we could barely walk a few meters without being stopped by street vendors and curious children. The market was definitely chaotic!"Jasmine stood up and leaned forward, squeezed his hand and leaned against him as they surveyed the boundless expanse of their beloved city. Colorful stalls overflowed with handmade goods and knick-knacks, laughter echoing through the alleys. Children played, their joyful cries measuring the rhythm of a joyful life.
"Every day, we see the fruits of our labor. It warms my heart to know that the programs we have initiated have changed so many lives," Jasmine said, her voice full of emotion. Aladdin nodded, remembering the long nights spent thinking about how to uplift their city. Over the years, their work had transformed into initiatives that provided education, health care, and opportunity to those struggling in ways they never had.
The market was no longer just a bartering place; it had become a community center, a place of learning where women brought their crafts and children learned the value of trade.
"Do you remember the first day of the agricultural program? How we planted those seeds together?" he asked, with a glint of nostalgia in his eyes. Jasmine laughed, her laughter like a melody. "You insisted on doing it the old way while I had studied modern techniques! It turned out to be a glorious day, and now look at the gardens all over the city!"
Aladdin's gaze softened as he looked out at an expanse of vibrant green adorned with colorful flowers dancing in the gentle evening breeze. Each flower seemed to tell a story of hope and perseverance. Jasmine giggled, "And I remember the day you first took me to that crowded square. I was so overwhelmed by all the sights and smells". He laughed, a rich, carefree sound echoing in the evening air. "What can I say? I was trying to impress you."
She waved his hand in contempt, with a glint of amusement in his eyes. "Of course you did. But look at our city now. Clean streets and order: that was a promise we made together, wasn't it?"
"It was," Aladdin said, his gaze sweeping over the streets below. They had faced countless challenges, downfalls, betrayals, even the vengeance of a sorcerer, but together they had rebuilt their home into something vibrant.
He turned to her, a serious expression appearing on his face. "Jasmine, what do you think young Aladdin would say if he could see what we have built together? What would that young scoundrel who climbed the walls of the palace of his life say now?"
Jasmine reached out her hand, placing it on his. "He would be proud, Al. Of you. Of us. Of this city. And he would be grateful for the courage we had to change." Reflecting, Aladdin's thoughts went back along the winding paths of their adventures: flying on a carpet among the stars, freeing a genie, fighting evil sorcerers, all had contributed to their legacy. But it was this daily life, the quiet moments shared in a life of love, that made their journey meaningful.
"You know, even though Agrabah has changed, somethings remain the same."
"What is it?" asked Aladdin, curious.
"Your heart," she replied, her eyes shining. "It still contains the same wild and adventurous spirit."
He smiled, the light dancing in his eyes. "And yours have only grown more beautiful with time. With you by my side, I have explored the world beyond Agrabah, but I have also found my true treasures here." Jasmine leaned forward, her forehead resting against his. They had discovered that love did not fade with age; it simply matured. Each wrinkle on their faces was a trace of a shared memory, a laugh, a tear, a victory and a promise: together, they remembered the eccentric Genie's quirks and the magic they had woven into their lives. And as the stars began to shine above their heads, Aladdin approached Jasmine.
"Do you ever think about the stories we leave behind?" he asked, with a hint of nostalgia in his voice.
"Always." Jasmine's expression became contemplative. "But I hope the stories focus not just on us, but on the people of Agrabah: stories of resilience, unity, and dreams coming true."
"Then let's make sure we keep sharing these stories," Aladdin said, taking her hand in his. "Let's gather the children and tell them about the magic that flows through this city. The magic born of love, determination and community."
As the night deepened, they descended from the balcony, hands clasped, hearts intertwined. Below them, the city glowed with lanterns and dreams, a living testament to their work and love. Walking through the streets of Agrabah, side by side in the bustling marketplace, they realized that each sunrise brought with it another chance to dream, another wish fulfilled, under the twinkling stars that had witnessed their journey.
Class of Heroes - JasAustin
Austin T - Jasmine
The royal prince of Agrabah and a close childhood friend of Alix and Ismael. He makes sure the thief and genie never get caught between a rock and a hard place.
Since Austin finds royal life boring, he often sneaks out to have fun with his friends. He always pretends to be a peasant so he doesn't get recognized.
Austin is head over heels in love for his boyfriend Jean, even if the emperor can be a tad conceited at times. He usually has to be Jean's voice of reason, but knows the boy is trying his best.
Austin is considered by many to be one of the kinder royals outside of Bustier and Mendeliev's classes.
He has a pet tiger named Roaar, who he talks too whenever he's home in the palace.
He certainly won't be speechless. Here's Austin T as Jasmine, quite the fitting princess IMO. Make sure to check out Class of Heroes by Weebs. Also make sure to reply, reblog, post and ask for more. @artzychic27 @msweebyness
I don't know if you know this, but why people are hating on Jasmine?
Hi! Hmm… I dont know if this is a recent thing, I haven’t seen anything that would suggest people are hating on her. But if so, my guess would be that they like to follow popular opinion; like sometimes it’s a trend to hate on certain things. Or that they just don’t like her because they find her annoying plain and simple.
It could be they have a problem with her age (15 years old), her attitude/personality, her “inaccuracies” (even though Agrabah is a made up place). They have to have someone who is perfect. A perfect made up character to check of all the boxes apparently, but that’s why I like her, she’s different from the cookie cutter Princess.
Lol in fact, my mom HIGHLY DISLIKES her, (even though she’s MY favorite haha). I asked her why and she just said she’s too bossy, and is super mean to Aladdin lol so there you go ig. Personally I don’t think so, but then again, it all comes down to opinions, and that’s why I’ll continue to love her despite what the general public opinion thinks. (And my mom) lmao😂
Then again, someone will always have a problem with something. So you just continue to love what you love!!! Don’t let others ruin it haha 🤍🤍🤍
Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix Recap: Agrabah (Only Second Rate)
Okay so… It turns out that Agrabah has the lower battle level, so we’ll actually be heading over there first.
If you did NOT clear Agrabah’s first episode before clearing the Battle of 1000 Heartless, you’ll be forced to play through it NOW instead, at which point the second episode will unlock.
Remember how the first game would change some cutscenes in skippable worlds to reflect Maleficent’s and Riku’s current states in the story? Maleficent disappearing from cutscenes in Olympus Coliseum and Monstro after her death, and Riku’s and Sora’s interactions in Monstro becoming FAR more hostile if you put its story off for long enough?
Yeah, KH2 doesn’t do that, so Pete will STILL be antagonizing Sora and causing trouble even though they’re supposed to be allies against Organization XIII.
And turning Jafar into a Heartless would be counterintuitive to working together against Organization XIII.
Oops.
Anyways, upon disembarking in Agrabah (assuming you’ve cleared the first episode), the first thing the player sees is red smoke billowing out of the concrete box Jafar’s lamp had been sealed in last time we were here.
The Peddler, here a distinct character from the Genie, is on the ground, trembling before the thunderous smoke, Jafar’s no doubt empty lamp laying on the floor next to him.
Iago flies into the dungeon to check in on all the ruckus, just in time to see the newly freed Jafar bellowing with laughter at his newfound freedom.
Jafar stops laughing and turns to Iago.
The camera zips up and out through the boarded-up ceiling of the dungeon as Iago screams in fright.
We cut the Peddler’s shop in a textbox cutscene, which now has gilded walls, a gilded roof, and a gilded floor. The shelves are stocked with valuable treasures, there are piles of gold coins behind the counter, and the Peddler also has a giant, bejeweled trophy that’s roughly the same size as Sora for some reason.
Sora, Donald, and Goofy beam right in there for some reason.
Donald looks around, surprised by how spiffy and shiny everything is, only to bump into a valuable-looking vase/urn/pot (not sure which).
“You break it, you buy it!” the Peddler warns, before noticing it’s just Sora, Donald, and Goofy, at which point he casually greets them.
Sora remarks that he made out like a bandit, but the guy we JUST saw release an evil genie insists he is just an honest merchant who earned all of this through hard work. Which I guess is… Theoretically possible… Given that the only other people who could POSSIBLY be paying customers are Princess Jasmine and Aladdin. Possibly the Genie if he doesn’t feel like magicking something he wants into existence. So, he could PROBABLY make a killing by virtue of being the only other person in town, and the only one selling anything.
Goofy remarks that everything certainly looks nice, and the Peddler reveals that everything is on sale.
Sora decides to cut to the chase, asking if the Peddler’s seen anyone in a Black Coat, hoping to learn if Organization XIII had been there.
The Peddler denies it, and thus Sora and co decide to keep looking.
We then fade into a voice-acted cutscene, where Aladdin, Abu, and Iago barge in.
“Sora! Don’t let him get away!” Aladdin shouts as Abu charges the Peddler, who somehow managed to escape.
Sora asks what’s going on, and Aladdin reveals that the Peddler released Jafar from his lamp.
Cue Sora flashing back to a bunch of Jafar scenes that never happened in Kingdom Hearts I, Chain of Memories, their Manga adaptations and novelizations, or any Aladdin media unaffiliated with Kingdom Hearts. Even though we had flashbacks to KH1!Agrabah in Roxas’ prologue. But hey, the Bandit Heartless from KH1 and COM appear here, so that’s a neat touch!
We then fade back to a textbox cutscene as Aladdin warns SDG to be careful.
“Jafar may be out to take over Agrabah again,” he explains, “But I’m sure he wants revenge too.”
Sora remarks that he’s probably still sore about the whole “getting sealed in a lamp for all eternity” thing.
Aladdin elaborates that Iago saw the whole thing, and tells him to spill it.
Iago insists that he’s already told Aladdin everything he knows.
Aladdin threatens to never talk to Iago again if he’s being dishonest, and that gets Iago to admit that he knows where Jafar is.
When asked to elaborate, Iago starts tripping over his tongue, but at Aladdin’s urging, he says Jafar’s at the Desert Ruins.
Sora declares they can get the jump on him, and tells Iago to lead the way.
Aladdin has rejoined the party!
Inside the Peddler’s remodeled shop is Vexen’s Absent Silhouette. The LAST Absent Silhouette.
Challenging it transports Sora, Donald, and Goofy to the sight of Vexen’s final battle: The Re:Chain of Memories version of the Old Mansion’s gate.
The Absent Silhouette transforms into Vexen in a flash of ice, and Vexen telekinetically levitates his shield in front of him.
His opening move is to surround Sora with a stream of data and encase him in a block of ice. In order to escape, the player must use the “Struggle” Reaction Command 10 times, which will produce the “Smash” Reaction Command. “Smash” prompts Sora to shatter the ice.
Vexen, however, is completely invincible, meaning Sora, Donald, and Goofy will have to chip away at his shield’s HP before they can damage him.
Worse yet, at all times, an Organization Sigil is crawling along the ground, and will scan Sora’s data whenever it’s below Sora’s feet. Vexen can teleport the sigil directly to Sora by freezing him, forcing the player to break out of the ice all over again.
There’s a data bar in the upper corner of the screen. It starts at 0, but if it’s filled, it’ll increase to 1.
When that happens, Vexen will spawn a Replica of Sora’s Anti Form, known as “Clone Sora”. Just like Sora’s Anti Form, it can instantly zip to Sora’s location and hack at him with its claws. Worse, this animalistic copy will get MORE health every time the Data “levels up”. If it’s destroyed, then the level-up will instead revive it with the boosted health it would’ve gotten if it had still been alive.
Fortunately, the Data Level caps out at 5.
Additionally, Vexen can summon various Ice Attacks both when he’s been disarmed, and will restore his shield after retaliating, so be careful.
Vexen’s Shield and Clone Sora are both considered bosses, and as such can only be defeated by Finishers, Limits, and/or magic. None of which Sora has access to in Anti Form, which he has an increased chance of entering when using Drive Forms due to Vexen being an Organization member.
Additionally, Clone Sora can FUSE with the Shield to perform powerful attacks, in a dark mockery of Drive Forms, so be aware of that.
When Vexen is defeated, his absent silhouette fades into snowflakes.
Sora’s rewarded an Armor Slot, Donald +3 Max HP, and Goofy and Item slot.
Additionally, it leaves behind a Lost Illusion and the “Road to Discovery” recipe (1 Lost Illusion, 1 Tranquility Crystal, 3 Tranquility Gems, 5 Tranquility Stones, and 7 Tranquility Shards). This recipe allows the Moogles to synthesize Vexen’s Shield, Frozen Pride, meaning Goofy can carry the weapon of a guy who was violently immolated in front of Sora about a year ago!
…
Anyways, in order to progress to the Desert Ruins, you need to exit the city through the front gates.
Upon getting there, our heroes discover (in a voice-acted cutscene) that the Desert Ruins are covered in a raging and suspiciously localized sandstorm.
Iago very loudly and hammily (even for him) suggests that they’re gonna have to turn back now.
Aladdin instead remarks that they’ll have to find another way, to the ruins, at which point the Genie zips in from out of nowhere to remind him that his best friend is a reality-warping genie who can EASILY wipe a little sandstorm away.
“Want to see a little something I like to call ‘Sandstorm Sweep’?”
SDG all answer to the affirmative.
“Take it away, Genie!” Aladdin encourages.
The Genie prepares to hammily end the sandstorm, only to get disappointed when he sees that it’s JUST a massive, localized sandstorm covering an oddly specific region of the desert, remarking that just “one lousy sandstorm” is too easy, proving his point by poking the air behind his head without even FACING it.
The magic zips on over, swirls around and encompasses the entire whirlwind of sand, and casually dissipates it.
SDG and Aladdin are no less wowed, and Iago annoyed, and the quintet swiftly realize that the Genie vanished while they weren’t looking.
“How about giving me a challenge next time, eh Al?” a genuinely board and somewhat stir-crazy Genie requests.
Just head in the direction of the ruins from the Palace Wall to skip past the boring desert travel.
Our heroes arrive at a mound that overlooks the ruins, which are all askewed at weird angles and partially buried in a MASSIVE pit/crater in the middle of the desert, which’ll make traversing them rather tricky.
“Now what’ll we do?” Aladdin asks.
The Magic Carpet swoops in from out of nowhere to give them a ride.
“Nice timing, Carpet!” Sora greets/lampshades.
Sora hops into Carpet and flies down into the valley/pit/crater, and a watery shadow of Jafar’s sorcerer/vizier form materializes in a puff of shadow as Agrabah’s battle theme starts playing.
Now it’s time for THIS game’s Magic Carpet ride!
Use the left shoulder button to lock the commands and control the camera, and the right shoulder button to lock the camera and control the command menu.
Sora can use the attack button to attack enemies from a distance. The left stick moves Sora front, back, left, and right, while the right stick moves Sora up and down.
As soon as Sora flies near Jafar’s shadow, it teleports away, seals Sora inside a box of invisible barriers, and spawns in a swarm of Rapid Thrusters.
Sora can use the attack button to charge an enemy from a distance, and still has access to his magic via the Command Menu. If he jumps, he’ll land back on the Carpet. Basically, his gameplay is almost identical to his on-foot gameplay, you’re just controlling his movement with the Magic Carpet instead of moving Sora around.
As soon as the last Heartless falls, the barriers drop, and Jafar’s shadow reappears.
You now have to chase it around the ruins.
Whenever Sora gets close enough for the targeting reticle to appear, Jafar’s shadow will fly to its next “stopping point”. Sometimes, when his shadow reaches these points, Jafar will start channeling his magic through it to cast a spell. It will not flee while doing this, allowing Sora to interrupt the spell by attacking it, though this will prompt it to flee to its next stopping point.
When Sora corners it in front of an invisible barrier, Jafar will drop the barrier and have his Shadow flee through narrow valley/corridor to a large tower in the middle of a sinkhole/sandpit (I don’t know my terminology), sending flying Heartless at Sora to try and slow him down. You don’t have to defeat them, you JUST have to reach Jafar’s shadow on the roof of the tower.
Jafar’s shadow will then cast a barrier over the roof of the tower, locking Sora in with a bunch of flying Heartless, and then vanish in a puff of darkness. The barrier will not drop until all of the Heartless have been destroyed.
After that’s done, a monument will appear on top of the tower in a puff of darkness. Examining it with a Reaction Command reveals three pictures of various “switches”. These “switches” consists of sets of floating orbs at various points in the ruined city, and Sora has to use different spells to hit all of them at once. Fira if they’re a ring, Blizzara if they’re a horizontal line, and Thundara if they’re in a vertical line. Be warned, they HAVE to line up so the spell will hit all of them in one blast, and they start out in a “3D diamond” formation until Sora gets close to them. There are three Switches total, and each of them will require a different spell.
They get color coded when you’re close, so it’s more about timing and defeating the nearby Heartless so they don’t get in the way.
When all three switches are hit, a doorway into the tower opens in a flash of light, and Sora is given 45 seconds to get in.
Entering the tower takes Sora, Donald, Goofy, Aladdin, and Iago to the “Ruined Chamber”, which has a Save Point, a large chest containing a map of the Ruins, a second large chest that contains the final Torn Pages, and all of your party members as NPC’s you can interact with.
Going deeper into the Ruined Chamber reveals that Jafar isn’t there.
Some nudging from Aladdin and Donald gets Iago to fess up: Jafar intimidated Iago into luring Aladdin, Sora, Donald, and Goofy to the ruins. (Thus, why Iago was so reluctant to say anything back at the Peddler’s Shop, he was debating whether or not to tell the truth in that moment, but his fear of Jafar won out. Him suggesting they turn back was him trying to NOT go through with it without blatantly defying Jafar’s will.)
Iago was too afraid of Jafar to NOT go along with it, but Aladdin cuts off Iago from disclosing what Jafar THREATENED to do to instead ask where he ACTUALLY is.
Iago, still terrified of what Jafar might do to him, but also feeling guilty, admits that Jafar is PROBABLY attacking the palace now that all of his enemies are sufficiently distracted, and then goes right into describing how scary Jafar’s eyes were, but nobody’s having any of it.
Sora points out that Iago can’t really be their friend if he’s trying to play both sides just to save himself, so it’s clear that at this point they KNOW he cares enough about their opinions for that to actually sting.
Iago, while backing away from the others as they tell him off, accidentally triggers a trap, causing the entire ruined city to start rumbling.
The Magic Carpet swoops in to take them away, and we get an on-the rails escape sequence ala KH1’s trip to Agrabah.
Unlike that one, however, Sora isn’t flying out of a cave, so we instead get the carpet swooping around and between buildings and diving near the ground for no apparent reason.
Waves of Heartless appear to impede Sora’s escape, and they get sent flying away on the blow that gets them into low HP, causing them to go splat (or well, “poof” since they’re made of metaphysical vapors instead of squishy guts) against the first hard surface they hit. Heartless can also be knocked into each other to deal damage, which is the only way Sora can take out the Fat Bandits that spawn.
Additionally, some of the towers topple over when Sora flies near them (though the carpet will always maneuver Sora out of the way before he can get hurt), again making me question why the Magic Carpet is going for the scenic route instead of taking them straight for Agrabah. It makes for a fun gameplay sequence, but a VERY confusing story sequence.
Anyways, the Carpet collapses form exhaustion once they reach the Palace Walls, and Aladdin tells it to rest up.
Iago tries to rally everyone up to go get Jafar, but they’re all still mad at him.
Reminder, the Palace Walls should PROBABLY be called the city walls instead, as the gate just leads to the Bazaar, so you’ll have to go through there first.
Past the Bazaar is Agrabah (again, confusing names are confusing), and just outside of the loading zone for the palace is the Peddler.
You have to use the “Interrogate” Reaction Command to progress the story in a textbox cutscene.
The Peddler instantly realizes they’ve caught on to his tricks, but is more of a gracious loser about the whole ordeal, agreeing with Sora when he says that you can’t keep shady stuff a secret for long, and helpfully explains everything:
He had snuck into the palace to “borrow” some treasure, when he heard a voice.
The voice had ordered the Peddler to “Release me!” and claimed to be the TRUE Sultan of Agrabah when the Peddler asked who he was.
The Peddler laments having fallen for such a tall tale, proposing that he must’ve been under Jafar’s spell.
Sora sarcastically asks if he’s SURE the treasure had nothing to do with it, and the Peddler, to his credit, admits it MIGHT have influenced him a LITTLE bit.
“But Jafar, he never gave me a thing…” the Peddler continues.
Sora wants to know where he got the treasure from then, and the Peddler explains he got it from a man in a black coat.
Organization XIII had, for whatever reason, bribed him to tell no one of Jafar’s return, as they claimed they would turn Jafar into a Heartless and destroy him, thus meaning there was no reason to worry Agrabah.
Sora is just incredulous that the Peddler bought that.
The Peddler reminds Sora that he’s a merchant, and thus will buy anything if the price is right. He points out that the only reason the transaction fell through is because Iago had seen him release Jafar.
“Oh, you’re so kind…” Iago replies (possibly sarcastically, there’s no voice acting so I have no clue), before sulking/sighing when SDG+Aladdin just turn to look at him.
You can now continue to the palace, where Jafar has chained Jasmine to the door.
“Just wait, Jafar!” Jasmine snaps, “You’ll get exactly what’s coming to you!”
“Indeed I will, Princess…” Jafar agrees, “All of Agrabah will belong to me, while you…” He laughs. “You my queen, shall weep at my side for all eternity!”
Jasmine pulls on her chains and tries to glance over Jafar’s shoulder.
Jafar glances back (just in case), before turning his attention back to Jasmine.
“Right about now…” he grabs her chin, “Your precious Aladdin is whispering your name with his last breath.”
Cue Jasmine noticing Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Aladdin have showed up to thwart Jafar, prompting Jafar to notice them as well.
“What was that you were saying, Jafar?” Aladdin taunts as SDG ready their weapons.
Jafar notices Iago perched on Goofy’s back.
“You dare defy me!” the wicked genie snaps as the eyes on his cobra staff light up, “You useless bird!”
He aims his staff at Iago and Goofy, prompting Goofy to raise his shield and Iago to cover his face with his wings.
Jafar then fires the blast at Aladdin instead, only for Iago to fly out and take the hit instead.
The quarter drop their guard to check on Iago when his smoking body hits the ground.
“Iago!” Goofy calls out.
“You’ll all be joining him very soon!” Jafar announces as he raises a pillar of thundering smoke and swirling magic around himself.
With a groan, he transforms back into his genie form, hovering above his enemies as “The Encounter” starts playing.
He throws a tower at Sora and Aladdin, prompting the two to flee as the Magic Carpet flies at them to help.
Jafar teleports into the skies above Agrabah, and cackles as he demonstrates his phenomenal cosmic power.
Sora and the Magic Carpet confront him.
Boss time.
Jafar’s attacks mostly consist of yeeting debris from destroyed buildings at Sora, spinning around, throwing glowing punches at Sora, shooting fireballs at Sora (when at 70% HP or lower), and raining lightning on Sora (at 40% HP or lower).
Basically, he does not fully exercise his phenomenal cosmic power.
Although his desperation attack DOES have him transporting himself and Sora into a dark void where he telekinetically yeets destroyed buildings at the kid, so that’s a plus.
Anyways, to make attacking Jafar easier, you have to fly past his glowing hands and attack his abs. Once his abs run out of HP, Jafar will crouch over and clutch his stomach, allowing Sora to use the “Roll Up” Reaction Command to grab the tip of Jafar’s tail and wrap him up with it.
When that’s done, Sora can use “Spin Burst” to make Jafar spin until he’s dizzy, at which point he’ll become stunned, allowing you to attack his head.
When he recovers, he’ll briefly paralyze Sora through sheer force of will.
All of Jafar’s attacks can be guarded PERFECTLY by Reflect.
You can damage him at any time by attacking his head and shoulders, but defeating his abs and making him dizzy will make damaging him easier since he won’t be moving around as much.
As you are riding the Magic Carpet, Sora controls EXACTLY as he does in the Desert Ruins.
Defeating Jafar grants Sora the Fire Element, upgrading Fira into Firaga.
“No…” Jafar groans as his body glows and sparks, “How can I BE defeated again, by a pack of filthy street rats?”
“Don’t mess with street rats!” Sora shoots back as he flies back to the palace with the Magic Carpet.
Jafar can only groan and shout as his body pulsates, until it explodes into a burst of magic sparkles.
Its genie destroyed, Jafar’s lamp evaporates into black smoke before Sora, Goofy, and Aladdin can reach it.
Cue Genie materializing in a flash of magic sparkles, lamenting that they fought Jafar AGAIN and didn’t even invite him.
Aladdin apologizes, noting that things happened a LITTLE fast.
Genie lamented that he had new moves he wanted to show off (possibly referring to the Limits he can do as a Summon).
“But, Genie, we still need your help!” Donald points out.
“Who’s gonna fix Agrabah?” Sora asks.
He’s not kidding, there’s rubble everywhere, a wall in the background has a MASSIVE hole in it, Jafar REALLY did a number on the city during his duel with Sora.
Genie is PUMPED up, ready to not only fix Agrabah, but TOTALLY remodel it into an upgraded version of itself.
“You won’t even recognize it when I’m through with it!”
“Just like it was, please,” Aladdin begs sheepishly.
“Really?” Genie asks, “Same old, same old?”
Aladdin and Sora nod.
“All right.”
Genie sends out sparkles to apparently fix Agrabah, but as the game doesn’t load up a different map, they just use a cheated camera angle to keep the battle damage out of sight.
Genie requests that Aladdin let him install a swimming pool or two next time.
Sora receives the Wishing Lamp keychain (+4 Attack, +3 Magic, Jackpot: Increases the drop rate of Munny, HP, and MP orbs by 50%).
The next cutscene loads back into an undamaged Agrabah as Sora, Donald, Goofy, Aladdin, and Jasmine gather in front of some stalls, with Iago sulking in the shadows.
Sora remarks that Agrabah seems to be back to normal, and Aladdin thanks Sora for his help.
Sora somewhat playfully tells Iago to behave himself, “Got it?”
“I most definitely got it! No more lookin’ out or number one!”
Iago also admits to a bit of an insecurity of his, while he’d LIKE to be Aladdin’s friend, he’s not entirely that he can do anything to help Aladdin the way Genie can. He’s not JEALOUS of Genie, he just feels inadequate.
Sora points out that friendship isn’t exactly all about “service”, and that it’s usually enough to just enjoy each other’s company and have fun together.
Aladdin asks what SDG do for fun, and Donald and Goofy demonstrate their “funny faces” to answer him.
“That’s… not quite what I meant,” Aladdin replies, mildly put off.
Sora remarks that they should probably head out.
Iago tries to say something, but his lower jaw and upper jaw don’t QUITE match their movements, and he instead just ends up feeling some pain in his beak.
Goofy checks in on him, and Iago remarks that he can at least still fly.
Goofy still follows after Iago to catch him, just in case, only to walk right into and break a stall, prompting the others to wince.
The Genie takes that in his cue, ready to fix-up/upgrade something, asking Aladdin to at LEAST let him add a freeway or something.
Aladdin insists that everything’s fine, but Genie’s APPARENTLY going through some magical reality warping withdraw and starts shooting around magical sparkles everywhere.
“Sora! Donald! Goofy! You guys are too much!” Genie declares, “If you’re ever in the mood for some more cosmic razzle-dazzle, gimme a shout, okay?”
“You got it!” Donald replies.
Aladdin remarks that Sora’s done it again and asks him not to forget about them.
“I won’t,” Sora promises.
“And Sora… about that friend of yours, the one you’re looking for…
“You’ll find him,” Aladdin declares, “Trust me.”
And with that, Agrabah’s story has finally concluded.
Next time, we STILL don’t go to Halloween Town, because we still need to return the last page to Pooh’s book.
See ya then!
-
All of those fights sound like an absolute pain in the ass.
Though ‘defeating his abs’ sounds hilarious.
Something I've been thinking about this morning is how in Return of Jafar, Jasmine (who's really Jafar in disguise) orders Aladdin's execution on the basis that all he "really wanted was to rule Agrabah". Which is fine, but it also makes me laugh because it couldn't be clearer that he... really doesn't?
Aladdin not only doesn't want to rule Agrabah, he actively avoids it whenever possible. The Sultan offers him a position as vizier, Aladdin turns him down. Diplomacy/diplomatic missions? He defers to Jasmine if she's there and asks his friends for input when she isn't. When he's put in charge of Agrabah during the Sultan's brief absence, he's scared absolutely witless over it.
Prior to the series (aka the 1992 movie), when Aladdin finds out he's going to be sultan he goes from elated to miserable in two seconds flat. He's just some dumb kid who wanted to woo the girl he likes and totally forgot that her being a princess actually meant he was gonna be a ruler too. It's part of the reason he doesn't to wish Genie free ("they wanna make me sultan! No, they wanna make Prince Ali sultan!").
I like it a lot, I think it's kind of a cool thing for a character to vehemently not want to rule or have power. Aladdin's happy going on his little adventures and going on dates with Jasmine and dressing in his comfy street clothes and sleeping in his (sorta spruced up but not really) hovel, and all of this 'hey you're the future sultan' stuff is just like... a final project he really, really hates, and is violently trying not to think about.
I Just Think It's Neat
Okay so
Here's how I'm thinking other princesses/royal disney and dreamworks characters could fit into the world of tts, as well as Dragon Prince cause why the hell not. This is mostly in the events of the show and the main story of my Cass spinoff. Because this is so long already, I'm gonna make this into multiple parts
Snow White is the Queen of Germany. She, naturally, inspired the fairytale of Snow White. She hasn't done much politically yet since she's still young, but she did found an annual baking festival. Thanks to the dwarves, Snow plans to form an alliance with Pittsford and improve mining conditions both there and in her own kingdom
Cinderella is the Princess Consort of Andorra, a country on the border of Spain and France. She inspired her own fairytale as well. She's made many efforts to improve the lives of the poor and abused in Andorra, and has made indentured servitude illegal. Her name is still technically Ella, but she's owned the nickname of Cinderella and twisted its meaning into something better
Aurora and Belle are the Crown Princess and Queen of two respective areas of France. Their kingdoms are right by Equis and Corona. In fact, Trevor is Aurora's Uncle on her mother's side. Belle is a big advocate for female education and a vital Renaissance figure. She even converted part of the castle into a school house. Meanwhile, Aurora is still learning the ways of royalty, but her main focus is fixing the damage that Maleficent did to the kingdom
Raya and the other Chiefs are part of what's called the Chief's Council of Kumandra. They're working on making Kumandra united again, ruling as a military oligarchy
Elena is the Queen of Avalor, an archipelago kingdom in the Caribbean islands. Now that she's queen and Avalor has been fully restored, she's working on alliances with other kingdoms
Kuzco is the King of the Peruvian Empire, and like his other fellow western Monarchs, is working on building relations and alliances with Europe. He's also somewhat considering putting regulations on magic after the llama incident
Instead of New Orleans, Tiana has a restaraunt opened up in Maldonia. Still called Tiana's Palace, it's the culinary Crown Jewel of Maldonia. Along with the restaurant, Naveen convinced his parents to make Tiana the royal caterer. Some other kingdoms have asked her to do a few jobs as well.
By the beginning of TTS, Jasmine is the newly crowned Sultana of Agrabah and Aladdin is her King Consort. Together they've been making great efforts to help the lower class of their kingdom and even made laws concerning Genie Rights so genies like their own Genie cannot be enslaved or abused.
By the end of TTS, Agnarr has just recently been crowned King of Arrendelle. He has yet to marry Iduna, and has maintained his father's anti-magic
Due to the anger of the four spirits, the Northuldra are completely cut off from the outside world, but legends of them and their battle with Arrendelle is slowly spreading over the kingdoms. (Elsa Padare time XD) Years later, Anna becomes Queen of Arrendelle and Elsa lives in Corona after being cast out by Agnarr as a baby. After reuniting with Anna, Elsa works on forming a strong alliance between Corona and Arrendelle and an activist for magic and for the Northuldra
The Serpent's Conquest- Chapter 3
Summary:
Princess Jasmine has always been a thorn in Jafar’s side, but as her sixteenth birthday approaches, he begins to see her as an object of desire. The thought of possessing her is eminently satisfying, but even more delicious is forcing her to choose him. Jafar forms a plan to seduce the princess and seize the throne for himself, knowing with certainty that he will be victorious.
Notes:
Here is another chapterI Before diving in, I wanted to talk about the Jafar I picture when writing and reading J&J stories. Of course, I started liking this pairing because of the animated film. Jonathan Freeman's voice work is flawless. But I believe the perfect Jafar, and the one I picture as I write, is a combination of iterations. My Jafar is about 40, with the looks of Oded Fehr (the Once Upon a Time Jafar), the voice and twisted ruthlessness of the animated version, and some backstory elements from Marwan Kenzari and Oded Fehr's iterations. So for this story the age difference between Jasmine and Jafar is about 24 years. I can't help it, the underage nature is part of what makes this pairing more interesting. Fehr was in his late 40s when he played Jafar, and he did it to perfection. Without further ado, I present to you chapter 3, which is still rated T, but we are slowly approaching M territory.
A03, Chapter 1, Chapter 2
_________________
A month had passed since Jasmine’s birthday, and she had been forced to meet with new suitors each week. They all arrived in the same fashion, parading through the streets of Agrabah, displaying their wealth and finery, only to kneel before her and vow that she was the loveliest creature they had ever beheld.
Jasmine had been disgusted with each of them, and had used a combination of intimidation and acerbic, cutting wit to send them on their way. It was ridiculously easy to manage her perspective suitors, almost too easy.
Jasmine relished the challenge of outmaneuvering a man, but the only one in the palace that was not cowed by her fiery temperament was Jafar. And she had been trying to avoid the vizier at all costs.
After the feast, he had begun to appear in her dreams, and slowly, the dreams grew more vivid and enticing. Dreams of sensuous kisses and embraces, the feel of silk against her flesh, and a heat so intoxicating that she arched to press herself against a well-muscled chest. She would often wake in the middle of the night flushed and panting, the spot at the apex of her thighs pulsing with need. And then she would remember the identity of her dream lover and shiver in revulsion and shame.
The few times Jasmine had been unable to avoid her father’s advisor, he had met her with a knowing smirk before she forced herself to avert her gaze, flushing with embarrassment. She wanted more than ever to strangle Jafar where he stood, much as a king cobra did to its prey.
Jasmine sat at the edge of the massive white marble fountain in the palace gardens. Rajah was curled up at her feet. There was a soft breeze rustling the tree leaves and the air was scented with the rich fragrance of summer blooms. It was utterly peaceful.
Which is why Jasmine scowled when her father interrupted this peace.
“Jasmine, my dearest, I have some news that I hope will make you happy. I know these last weeks have been trying.”
“They would not have to be if you were not forcing me to receive every prince in the surrounding kingdoms.”
“Now, now, Jasmine, you must be wed. There is no escaping that, but I realize that the marriage is not just about ensuring your welfare. You will be Queen soon, and you must be prepared.”
Jasmine sucked in a breath. She was almost afraid to ask for clarification of his meaning, lest she misunderstand the intentions behind this discussion.
The Sultan was oblivious to her conflict, and continued to speak. “Jafar brought it to my attention that eleven months is hardly enough time to teach the art of ruling and diplomacy but that it was necessary to begin your education as soon as possible.”
Jasmine was immediately suspicious of Jafar’s intentions. She knew that he coveted the throne. Surely he would not want his rival to become a competent ruler. It would make her even more of a threat. “And how am I meant to be educated in these matters?” Jasmine asked.
“You will attend all council meetings of course. Jafar will provide you with a collection of books, maps, and your mother’s study will be opened for your personal use.”
Jasmine was stunned. The Sultana’s quarters had been closed since her sudden death so many years ago.
“And will I be able to leave the palace walls? A future queen should be permitted to walk the streets of her own kingdom.”
“No,” her father said. “It is far too dangerous for you. When you are wed, you shall walk the streets with your husband when he deems it appropriate.”
Jasmine was about to scowl, but she knew that the opportunity to learn to rule was too good to squander. She rose and kissed her father’s cheek. “Thank you, Father. I will be pleased to learn all I can. I want to be a worthy queen.”
The Sultan patted her hand. “And you will, my dearest, much like your mother before you. The council convenes in an hour. Please ensure you are appropriately attired and join us in the council chambers.”
Jasmine nodded. She suspected that she would need to dress more conservatively for these meetings. Jasmine did not want to give any of her father’s advisors any reason to declare her unfit.
Jasmine still wondered why Jafar had felt compelled to advocate on her behalf. She was certain he had some nefarious purpose, but she would take advantage of his generosity, and then make him regret it when she finally took her place as queen.
_______________
When Jasmine arrived in front of the guarded council chamber doors, it was to find Jafar waiting for her, rather than her father.
Jafar’s voice was smooth and oily as he greeted her, but like the falsely subservient tone he used upon the Sultan. It made Jasmine’s skin crawl, but not as much as it did when Jafar took her hand and kissed it, lingering longer than was strictly appropriate. “You shall be very welcome in this gathering, Princess. You shall be the decoration this assemblage is desperately in need of.”
Jasmine wanted to smack that condescending smirk off his face. As though he sensed what she was thinking, he clutched her hand hard enough to make her wince, and pulled her to his side. “You will comport yourself with grace, Princess. You will not be allowed to humiliate the crown.”
Ah, so there it was. It was a test. The Sultan did not care to educate her in the ways of ruling. He was simply bringing her before his advisors knowing that when her temper got the better of her, he would have an excuse to lock her away more tightly than ever before. Naturally, this was Jafar’s hope as well.
“Where is my father?” Jasmine asked through clenched teeth. “I do not need to be escorted by you.”
“Your father is late as usual. In a moment we will enter and I shall begin the proceedings, but not until you give me your word that you will only listen. You do not know enough to contribute. You are here to learn.”
Jasmine rolled her eyes. “I will not consent to being a Princess who is seen and not heard. And have you forgotten that you cannot order me about. I outrank you.”
Jafar twisted her wrist so painfully that Jasmine’s words of protest died on her lips.
With a raised brow and a smug grin, Jafar said, “Give me your word, or I shall tell your father that I spoke too hastily in making my recommendation that you be allowed to attend council meetings.”
Jasmine glowered at him but at length silently consented with a nod of her head.
Jafar kept her by his side as he led her into the chamber. The grand room had high, vaulted ceilings and the space was dominated by a gleaming mahogany banquet table, surrounded by a dozen royal advisors.
They rose as the Royal Vizier and the Princess crossed the room to take their places near the center of the table. Jafar pulled out an ornate chair beside the throne and indicated that Jasmine should sit.
His fingers brushed the bare skin of her shoulders as he took the seat to her right. Jasmine shivered at the contact. It was true that her embroidered gown was far more modest than her usual attire, but her shoulders were still bare, and the faintest hint of her decolletage was on display for the royal advisors to see.
She straightened her back and surveyed the group of men, hoping that they would each have some sort of wisdom she could use.
Jafar began the proceedings and plunged into a discussion of the kingdom’s foreign trade connections and how the new recent influx of goods from Pascua was impacting the fortunes of the kingdom.
Jasmine was surprised at how articulate Jafar was, always believing him to simply be a conniving snake who wanted the throne to satisfy his own ego. And while it was true that Jafar was overconfident in his addresses, and harsh in his dismissals of ideas of other council members, after only half an hour, Jasmine could tell that the vizier wanted to make Agrabah more prosperous.
He seemed to understand the most intricate inner workings of the kingdom, and Jasmine could not help but be slightly mesmerized by his commanding voice.
The spell was interrupted when the subject moved to the state of the poor in Agrabah.
“This capitol city is growing,” said the Agrabah’s Minister of Finance. “There is not enough housing to meet the needs. The number of street dwellers has increased. I suggest we banish those who cannot afford a dwelling.”
“You can’t,” Jasmine cried.
All eyes turned to her, and worse, Jasmine felt Jafar’s finger squeeze her thigh beneath the table in silent warning.
“I beg your pardon, Princess, but you have no way of knowing the conditions in the capitol. Crime is rife in the market district, and it is because of ruffians and thieves who have no business in our city.” The minister’s chest puffed with self-importance. Jasmine instantly disliked him.
“As royalty, it is my job to be concerned with every citizen of my kingdom. We cannot simply banish those who have fallen upon hard times. The need assistance from the crown and from the royal coffers.”
Jafar’s grip tightened on her thigh, and Jasmine bit back a wince. The Minister of Finance began to wave away her words when Jafar said, “If we banish those we deem unworthy, the crown will be accused of being cruel. Resentment will rise and cause further difficulties in the poorer parts of the city. A shelter should be constructed for those needing aid. This will provide more opportunities for employment. By all means, banish the petty criminals, but for Agrabah to be considered truly great, there must be a minimal standard of living for all.”
“But the coffers can ill afford—”
Jafar’s eyes narrowed. “I believe you will find that our coffers are more than replenished with the trade profits with Pascua. The council will fund this new project without complaint.” Jafar turned to a man with a thick grey beard before the Minister of Finance. “Now we shall hear from the Minister of Law.”
Jasmine was stunned that Jafar possessed even a streak of altruism. He had not defended her outright, and Jasmine was certain she would have bruises from his silencing grip, but he had put the pompous minister in his place. Her father could have never done so, she was certain, especially considering that he had not even deigned to appear.
Much to her dismay, her father did not enter until the council was addressing its last issue: that being the approaching arrival of Prince Khaled of Potamia.
“He is famously particular in his accommodations,” one advisor said.
“The prince will have whatever he needs, whatever this expense,” the Sultan declared.
The Minister of Finance looked as though he would very much like to protest, but was silenced by one dangerous look from Jafar. Jasmine idly thought that the Minister of Finance would be one of the most trying aspects of her new obligation. Still, she was dismayed that her father appeared to be so cavalier about spending the royal coffers on people with no loyalty to the kingdom. It must be his idea of further swaying the suitors into offering for her hand.
After the details of Prince Khaled’s stay were settled, her father dismissed the council. The men filed out one by one leaving the Sultan with his most trusted advisor and his daughter.
“Well, my dearest, how did you enjoy your first meeting?”
“It was enlightening, Father,” Jasmine said truthfully. “I thank you for the privilege.”
“You should thank Jafar, dearest. The idea was entirely his.” With that, the Sultan kissed his daughter’s cheek and made to leave. Before he did though, he looked over his shoulder. “Jafar, please escort my daughter back to her chambers. I am sure she is exhausted from the day’s events. It will not be long before she must meet her next suitor. She must be well-rested.”
“Of course, my liege,” Jafar said, inclining his head.
Jasmine glared at him. It was insulting that her father believed she was in need of an escort. She did not take Jafar’s proffered hand and swept out of the chamber ahead of him.
Unfortunately, Jafar’s height allowed him to catch up to her quickly. His fingers closed around her upper arm. “You did not keep your word,” he hissed. “You will be punished.”
“I am not a child, and the Minister of Finance is cruel, and a fool. My people deserve better.”
“His idiocy does not matter,” Jafar said. “It was not your place to offer an opinion. You may contribute once you have read the books I had sent to your mother’s study and when you have attended several more council meetings.”
“If you think I am so ill equipped to participate, why did you convince Father to allow me to attend?” Jasmine demanded of the vizier.
He drew her into a curtained alcove. Drawing himself to his full height as a method of intimidation, he said, “Because, Jasmine, I have no wish to have a stupid, uninformed girl for my wife and queen.”
Jasmine gaped at him, dumbstruck by his matter-of-fact tone. “How dare you presume that I would ever choose you as a husband. I will never be your wife.”
Jafar pressed her against the smooth brick of the alcove, his hot breath tickling the flesh of her cheek. “We shall see, my dear. I know you have been dreaming of me.” His hand caressed her breast, and the silk did little to minimize the heat of his caress. She curse herself even as she leaned into his touch. How does he know I’ve dreamt of him? Am I truly so transparent?
Jafar’s thumb lightly circled the sensitive tip of her breast as he spoke with sultry tones. “You feel something for me that you have not felt for the dozen suitors you have met thus far. Given time, you will come to realize that I am the one you wish to be at your side.” Jafar raised his staff to her, its eyes glowing menacingly. “I will teach you the intricacies of ruling, and in return, you will fall at my feet in gratitude and grant me the honor of becoming your husband and the next Sultan.”
“Never,” Jasmine spat, the sinfully delicious sensations he was creating within her body were not enough to overpower her hatred of him. She raised her hand to strike him for his affrontery.
But Jafar caught it in his and crushed her to him, claiming her lips in a fierce caress. Against her will, her body surrendered, and she allowed her tongue to glide against his. This created a shot of liquid fire that went straight to her center. When he pulled away at last, Jasmine was panting heavily.
Jafar gave her a wicked grin, his hand dropping to her side, only to caress the curve of her hip. “I’ve been longing to do that for a month, my insolent princess. Continue to defy me, and you will find your honor compromised and we will be forced to wed. I trust you can make it the rest of the way to your chambers, where I am certain that my touch will enliven your fantasies.”
Jasmine’s fingers curled into a tight fist. The bastard had the gall to wink before he bowed and swept away.
She longed to tell her father of the vizier’s inappropriate advances, but she knew he would never believe her. Jafar was too capable of manipulating him.
Not for the first time, Jasmine wondered about the snake staff with its glowing ruby eyes. But if it did indeed have power, she intended to be strong enough to resist.
_____________
Jafar’s heart pounded as he entered his secret tower. That tempestuous little witch had resisted his hypnotism.
It was evident that he could not rely upon hypnosis when it came to his conquest. He could only seek to manipulate her dreams, as he had been doing for the last several weeks. He took pride in that stroke of genius, knowing that before too long, Jasmine would be so intrigued that she would instigate a compromising encounter.
Jafar had known the effect his work was having upon her sensibilities by the furious way she blushed when in his company. She had responded, however innocently to his illicit touch. And once again, she had responded to his kiss, allowing him to deepen it. He was certain that she loathed him, but that was no matter.
Perhaps Jafar had overplayed his hand, but his longing for her had gotten the better of him. He would have to be more circumspect in the future. He would not bring up the matter of marriage for the time being, but now, the possibility was in her head, and Jafar fully intended to show her flashes of what being his wife would entail.
If he could not make her fully submit to him in the waking hours, Jafar would have to settle for haunting her dreams.
Someone to Watch Out for You: Chapter 16
Shattered Diamond
Summary: In which Ventus tries to protect a certain Arabian princess. Word Count: 2,228 First | Previous | Next ☆ ⚬ ☆ ⚬ ☆ ⚬ ☆ ⚬ ☆ ⚬ ☆ ⚬ ☆ ⚬ ☆ ⚬ ☆
The idea was risky, but he had to try. Ventus carefully navigated his Keyblade glider to the palace's balcony. All his thoughts focusing on getting Jasmine out of the palace for someplace safer completely overrode the notion of taking off the Keyblade armor. He could only imagine what Jasmine's first reaction would have been, having a stranger at her bedroom window and telling her she was in grave danger. He was fortunate enough that she seemed to already know the situation she was in, and agreed to follow him.
However, Jasmine helped him more than he helped her. The princess was well familiar with the in and outs of her palace, along with the general marketplace that rested right outside of it. If anything, Ven fought back the Heartless Jasmine herself couldn't otherwise subdue. There were a lot more here than in Traverse Town- was the situation in the worlds getting worse?
“Someone’s coming,” Ven quietly told Jasmine. “We need a place to hide.”
“There.” Jasmine instructed, pointing to an empty market stall. The two exchanged a nod before ducking behind the main counter. They were quick enough that the people walking up likely didn’t even realize they were there.
“And the keyhole?” a female voice, proud yet uncaring, asked. A chill ran up Ven’s spine- he knew that voice. But it couldn’t be…
“The Heartless are searching for it now.” a male voice informed her. Jasmine had a physical reaction to this one. “I’m certain we’ll find it soon enough.”
Ven signaled for Jasmine to keep silent. She nodded, even covering her hand over her mouth, just in case. They listened as the male and female talked more to each other, mostly about the capture of Princess Jasmine herself.
“We need all seven Princesses of Heart to open the final door. Any fewer are useless.” the woman snapped at the man, in response to him questioning if they even needed Jasmine. Ven, hearing this, mouthed the words ‘final door?’ in confusion. Why would anyone want to open a door with the Princesses of Heart?
Even the man seemed a little offended by this.
“Well, if the princess is that important, we’ll find her.”
The man then gave a snap of his fingers, summoning several Heartless and commanding them to go out to find Jasmine. Ventus and Jasmine waited several minutes more after the man and woman were done talking before leaving their hiding place.
“That man was the royal vizier, Jafar.” Jasmine informed Ven as they hid in Agrabah’s shadows. “He took control from my father, the sultan, not long ago. He tried to keep me in my room. Someone else was going to help me get out until you came along. I didn’t know why he had me there until now, but I knew it couldn’t have been anything good.”
“Good intuition.” Ven approved as they moved to an unused corner alley. “Would you happen to know where the keyhole they mentioned is?”
“No. I can't even say I’ve heard of such a thing before now. At least, not in the context they were implying.”
“And that woman,” Ven asked, making sure the area was secure, “Do you know if her name is Maleficent?”
“I wouldn’t know that either.” Jasmine said. “I’ve certainly never seen her around here before.”
“Not surprised.” Ven grumbled. To her proper, he said, “Maleficent can’t be trusted, if that was her. She and I are not what you would call friends.”
“Right,” Jasmine agreed with a nod. “I only wish that Aladdin knew I made it out of the palace safely. He was the one who had promised to help me.”
“Aladdin?” Ven repeated.
He went unanswered, however, as someone had found their hiding place. It was in shock that Ventus locked eyes with none other than Sora. Goofy and Donald not far behind the much younger Keyblade wielder. It was Sora who spoke first.
“Who… are you?” he asked, looking directly at Ven. “And why are you wearing armor like that person back in Wonderland?”
“Don’t be so rude, Sora!” Donald squawked. “It’s just-!”
Goofy immediately slapped a hand over Donald to shut him up in time. The duck was furious at the gesture. He bucked and shouted, causing quite a racket, before realizing the point that Goofy was trying to make. All of this went undetected by Sora, who instead was far more intent on figuring out why Ven’s armor looked so familiar. Ven thought it was time to fill the poor kid in a bit.
“You may not know who I am, but I know who you are.” he said. “This is Princess Jasmine. She’s being chased by Jafar, the royal vizier. He’s overturned the sultan’s control and is looking for this world’s keyhole. I need you to help me stop him before it’s too late.”
Sora looked more than apprehensive at this. He looked from Ven to Jasmine as the pieces sorted themselves out in his head.
The poor boy didn’t have the time to figure it all out before a voice from above them snorted, “Excellent summary, boy. But I’m afraid there are still a few details you are critically missing.”
Everyone turned their attention to Jafar, who had taken a position above them from the shop’s rooftop. The vizier gave them a sneer as a row of Heartless formed beside him on either side.
“Jasmine,” he said in a controlled voice, “Allow me to find you more suitable company, my dear princess. The street rats are especially biting today.”
“Make sure Jasmine gets out of here.” Sora said to Ventus, preparing his Keyblade at the summoned Heartless.
For a moment, Ven had to do a double take. Sora turned to him and gave the armored knight a firm nod.
“If you really want to protect Jasmine, then you’ll let me take care of these guys. It’ll be a piece of cake!”
“O-okay.” Ven agreed. Still dumbfounded, he looked over to Jasmine. She gave him a firm nod of agreement, and not long after, they left Sora behind.
Unfortunately, now that Jafar was filled with more ire at witnessing the princess escape, the Heartless in this world were starting to come out in twofold. There wasn’t a safe place for the two to hide anywhere. Ven wasn’t sure which one of them had the idea of doubling back to the palace gates, but he really wished they hadn’t. The doors were locked from the inside. They were trapped.
“Oh Princess Jasmine, I thought you were far more dignified than this.”
Ventus and Jasmine spun around to find Jafar walking up to them. Behind him was a large Heartless that completely blocked the way out.
“Misbehaving like a child,” Jafar went on in mock condescension, “Scurrying around like a mere street rat. What an infectious disease…”
“If you want Jasmine, you’ll have to get through me!” Ven declared, readying his Keyblade. “I’m not letting another Princess of Heart get out of my sight. Not now, not ever!”
This seemed to be exactly the reaction Jafar wanted.
“As you wish, my boy.” the evil vizier smirked. He snapped his fingers and the Heartless blocking the entrance went straight for Ventus.
It had been a lot tougher than Ven had been anticipating. The Heartless had the mission of wearing Ventus out. And he hated to admit it, but the strategy worked. By the time he was able to defeat it, Ven could barely stand. He might have collapsed completely had Sora and his friends not returned at that moment.
“Jafar!” a young man now occupying Sora, Donald, and Goofy shouted.
“Ah, Aladdin.” Jafar greeted, using his voice like a dripping poison. “Setting your sights a little high, aren’t you, boy?”
Ven flinched as he tried to straighten himself out. Before he could find a way to catch Jafar off guard, a blue genie appeared out of nowhere. The genie mentioned something about a second wish being used as he scooped Jasmine up and out of harm’s way. Unfortunately, the plan was quickly thwarted when Jafar’s red parrot snatched a lamp from behind Aladdin, putting the genie in control of the evil vizier. Jasmine soon after fell into a pot-turned-Heartless, which sprung Sora, Aladdin, Donald, and Goofy into action. Ven was able to help for a little, but could not do much in his injured state.
Ultimately Jafar had won. Almost, at least, as he released an evil cackle that seemed to originate from the desert.
“I’m coming with you.” Ven told the odd foursome.
It was Aladdin who gave him a firm nod of agreement. A part of Ven felt relieved that someone still wanted his help, even when he kept messing things up.
The trip to the Cave of Wonders was hurried and silent. Sora and his friends were able to hitch a ride on a magic carpet that Aladdin was friendly with. Ven remained on his Keyblade glider, flying right beside them. The latter pretended not to notice when Sora would glance at him, still trying to figure out how Ven’s armor was familiar, before quickly being reminded by Donald and Goofy that he was the one steering the carpet.
“Sora told me that you tried to protect Jasmine for me.” Aladdin quietly told Ven once they entered the Cave of Wonders, as to not disturb Sora, Donald, and Goofy from trying to solve a puzzle.
“Yeah?” Ven said with a small eyebrow raise. “She’s really important to you, then?”
“She’s great!” Aladdin smiled. “Her hair is just so soft, and you could get lost in those eyes of hers for hours…”
For this, Ven let out a soft snort.
“I know the feeling,” he agreed. “I have someone a lot like that too.”
“I’d do anything for Jasmine,” Aladdin then wistfully told him- assuming he wasn’t just so lost in his own world now that he forgot Ven was still there. “Even if I can’t give her everything.”
Ven gave himself a small smile in remembering his own princess. “Yeah… I’d do anything for her too.”
The small moment of reprieve was unfortunately all they could share. Once they caught up with Jafar, he had already used Genie to reveal the keyhole. Jasmine was unresponsive on the ground. Next to Jafar was someone different, and Ven now had confirmation as to why that female voice from before sounded so familiar.
"Maleficent!" he shouted, immediately pulling out his Keyblade to attack.
The evil fairy just smirked at him before disappearing in an overwhelming burst of green fire.
"Jafar, let Jasmine go!" Aladdin demanded next.
"Not a chance." the vizier chuckled. He idly gestured to Jasmine as he explained, "You see, she's a princess- one of seven who somehow hold the key to opening the door."
"Which was why I tried to protect her." Ven mumbled.
"And you have failed quite spectacularly. You fools won't live to see what lies beyond that door!" Jafar declared. "Genie! My second wish; crush them!"
Ven didn't claim to be a genius, but he somehow got the feeling that Genie didn't completely follow through with the whole 'crush them' thing. Even if he was bound to Jafar's wishes. Jafar was the one who blocked the exit and keyhole from them. Jafar was the one using his staff to create pillars and barriers for them to get past in order to reach him at all.
It was at this point, no longer injured to the point of exhaustion to really notice, when Ven took a real good look at how Sora fought. The boy's attacks were vicious, but unpracticed. Maybe one day he could set aside time to teach him a bit more finesse than full gung ho?
Regardless, the five of them were able to put Jafar back in his place pretty quickly. The vizier staggered back after dodging a blow from Aladdin' scimitar. A brush so close to defeat sent an intense fury through Jafar's blood.
"Genie!" the vizier thundered. "My final wish! I want you to make me an all-powerful genie!"
Genie refused to look as he granted Jafar's wish. Now in greater control once more, Jafar made the floor sink into the earth's crust, forcing the five fighters to avoid the pools of lava that were emerging.
"The lamp!" Aladdin realized first. "Get Jafar's lamp!"
The other four did not need to be told twice. Unfortunately, Jafar's parrot was also aware of the fact. The bird remained just out of their grasp while Genie Jafar attacked them head on.
"Distract Jafar," Sora told Aladdin and Ventus, "Donald, Goofy, and I will get the lamp."
"Got it." the human duo agreed.
Jafar was a powerful foe. Ven didn't even have the breath to make sure Sora, Donald, and Goofy were doing well in their quest. It wasn't until Sora shouted, "Okay, Jafar! Back to your lamp!" that Ven even knew they were safe at all.
With Jafar sealed away, the boys made their way back up to the surface. The keyhole was open once more, but Jasmine was nowhere to be seen.
"Jasmine? Jasmine!" Aladdin cried, rushing to where Jasmine last laid. Ventus could feel his whole body clench.
"Another one gone." he mumbled to himself. He left the world not long after without letting anyone else know.
Little did he realize that his failures were far from over yet.
Fantasia Knights funny moments from my favorite episodes
Lucky, Lucky Snake
Think Kaa is safe from being put through the wringer as a human? Think again.
Enzo: (to Human!Kaa, who is sprawled on the ground, unconscious) You okay there, buddy?
Birds of a Feather
This exchange, after they save Iago from the angry merchant:
Iago: Who are you guys?
Taylor: (gently) We’ve come to save you. Come with us…
(A beat, before Iago abruptly flies off)
Iago: Don’t talk ta me wit’ that voice!
Enzo: (shit-eating grin) A bird just rejected you, dude.
Genie’s first appearance, when he flies into the room and jubilantly hugs Kian, mistaking him for Aladdin. At one point he asks, “Hey Al, did you get shorter?”
“We’ve got a slight problem: Aladdin and Iago swapped species, so Al’s now a blue macaw, and Iago’s… the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.”
Iago: I AINT’ CUTE!
“BY THE POWERS THAT BE, I COMMAND YOU TO RETURN TO NORMAL!!!”
Human!Iago taking advantage of his situation while passing himself off as Jasmine’s brother. And it is amazing.
Iago: Ya might wanna be a bit nicer to me, considering the fact that I AM THE ONE IN CHARGE!
“YOU FOOL!”
Iago assumes that, because he’s a human now, he can approach Rajah without getting pounced on, as he attempts to secretly sic him on a stuck-up young caliph. However, Rajah knows who the red-haired boy is. No points for guessing how that turns out.
Iago: (to the caliph while noticeably battered) You win this round, bub.
Iago’s rant as he starts angrily stripping off the “royal” outfit Genie zapped up for him: “A dog show is where I DRAW THE LINE!”
And said “princely” outfit is what Human!Iago wore in the Broadway musical of Aladdin.
And Iago is wearing those clothes over what he was wearing when he became human.
This gem:
Enzo: YO, BIRD BOY!
Iago: WHAT?! (Realizes he just gave away his location to the Knights)
And immediately afterward Enzo tackles him like a football player.
“Words of wisdom” from Iago:
Iago: Sometimes, you just gotta run like heck from your problems.
The entire chase through the bazaar to rescue Iago from Muge’s mooks. Highlights include:
The burning fireworks cart.
The food merchant behind them ignoring the scene right in front of him and going on with his job. Obviously, this type of thing happens quite often in Agrabah.
Once Genie is called upon, things really get hysterical. The faces on Muge’s servants add to the hilarity.
Muge, as it turns out, is not happy upon learning that her retainers have kidnapped Iago.
Turan: Now, which is worse? Inconveniencing Agrabah, or dying alone and single?
Muge: KIDNAPPING THE PRINCESS’S BROTHER, YOU MORONS!
And in the background, Iago is trying unsuccessfully to free himself from the sack he’s been tied up in from the neck down, to no success. At one point, he tries chewing through the ropes, only to stop when he almost accidentally strangles himself.
An exasperated Iago desperately confessing that he’s not actually Jasmine’s brother, but a parrot. Muge’s disbelieving reaction is priceless.
“Wait, there’s more! I’M SCUM! I once had a psychopath boss, I gamble at the Nest Egg, I ALREADY GOT A GIRL IN THE RAINFOREST!!!”
“TEN THOUSAND YEARS OF AGONY UPON YE!!!” (Ass Shove) “Oops.”
Where the Deer and the Antelope Play
Enzo entering the saloon, making one hell of an impression:
Patron: Hey! Are you the fella who took down them Stonehart brothers?
Enzo: Yeah, I got ‘em with one bullet.
Patron#2: All seven of them?
Enzo: ...Yup. All seven of 'em.
The story he comes up with to explain his supposed feat is pretty hilarious too (what we get to hear of it, anyway).
Enzo: Bullet hits the pickaxe, ricochets back towards Stonehart number three, and THAT'S WHEN THE ROOF CAVED IN, igniting the fuel, instantly vaporizing his bodily form, leaving nothing but a burnt-black husk.
Patron#3: Hold on there, that's only six. What happened to number seven?
Enzo: Oh, well, obviously he died of gangrene.
After Maggie, Mrs. Calloway and Grace are turned human, Calloway demands that they be changed back. Taylor asks Enzo for the Animal Artifact:
Enzo: Ya mean the big, shiny medallion with the mouse insignia?
Taylor: Uh-huh.
Enzo: Exactly like the one those rustlers stole?
Taylor: Yup.
Enzo: ...Well, it got stolen.
Taylor: (Seeing Mrs. Calloway’s Tranquil Fury) So it did.
A great chunk of jokes in this episode are of Pearl’s girls getting used to their new human bodies:
Their first attempt at two-legged walking. Insert QWOP jokes here.
Mrs. Calloway tries to compose herself and look as dignified as possible... and comically walks right into the closed door.
Human Maggie taking a bite of an ear of corn like a cow and a passerby giving her a "WTF?" look.
And earlier, in a Funny Background Event, she’s clearly checking out her.... uh... “human udders.” And then she motions Grace over for a look. Both are clearly unimpressed at what they see.
When the Knights and bovine-turned-humans spot Jose, Maggie gets down on all fours and prepares to charge him.
When the group comes across the Granger Gang’s secret lair, and River is inspecting the locked entrance.
River: This is either gonna take a lot of our magic, or some good lockpicking skills to-
Maggie: UH OH, CLUMSY ME! (shoulder smashes down the door)
(River stands there with a shocked look on her face)
The entire chase/fight scene with the Granger Gang and the heroes counts as both a CMOF and CMOA.
This exchange:
Kian: Who wants a story where the bad guys win?
Jose: I do! It’s called a ‘change of pace’! Let me spell it out for ya: We’ve got you outnumbered! Right boys? (turns around to see the rest of the gang running away screaming) ...Boys? Aw, dangit!
― ʚ author note ɞ ― An Aladdin au, the idea isn't mine it was a request sended through private message, just incase I won't tag the person if they reveal themselves then they will, anyway enjoy
You and Leorio have known each other since forever, whenever someone asked you for your best childhood memory Leorio was always there, even though you both were poor you always tried to learn money fairly you didn't want to steal anything and sell it for money it was cruel in your opinion, and Leorio hated the idea too especially since the reason you both were really close is because his mother died of a sickness and his father lost everything when a thief broke in, and eventually for that reason he and his father went bankrupt and your parents took them in, with that said you always tried to make Leorio happy playing with him or giving him some education you were aware of for example in medicine or stuff like that, which was very helpful especially since getting injured in Agrabah wasn't that hard and knowing how to bandage injuries was a very important knowledge especially around an area where theft is popular, but even then you family eventually suffered through theft and became street rates but even then Leorio and his father didn't leave you and your family to rot and tried to help, both you and Leorio started walking around offering knowledge to people so you can get some money at least for some fruits.
Eventually for mysterious reasons you and Leorio were separated, nobody knows why or when but both Leorio and his father suddenly disappeared, and you would be a liar if you said you're not disappointed, but if something happened and they had to leave you couldn't be mad really
୨⎯ "Years later" ⎯୧
You were officially an adult and because of that you started working, as an assistant to a food seller he paid you decently,but in reality the only reason you agreed to that job was because you wanted to open a public library so everyone could learn and get a bigger knowledge, you even offered some kids to help them learn some stuff, but during a random day you learned that some prince was coming to Agrabah, you weren't that surprised I mean you heard that the princess is looking for a suttor or more of her father is, so a prince coming to Agrabah wasn't a huge surprise for you, while working you heard that the prince was Amir, you honestly were curious why people were talking about him so much and not about others?
"Excuse me, but I heard you talking about prince Amir and I wanted to know more about him and why are people talking about him?"
"oh you didn't hear?"
"hear what?"
"Prince Amir supposing isn't here for the princess but for a normal citizen"
"is that so? But why?"
"it's only a rumor but someone said that he heard that someone wants to open a public library"
"and what's with that?"
"nobody really knows, and nobody knows that person too"
"ah I see well thanks for answering goodbye"
How the heck does that prince know about that?! Nobody knows about it except you and your parents! Leorio didn't even know, now that you think about it what happened to Leorio makes you worry it's been a few years,there's no way that he is...dead is there? No he can't be you sure of it!
You were about to walk away before you heard a boyish boy voice screaming you turned around and were surprised by a parade, on it you saw two boys wearing outfits you think a genie would wear if it was real, one had black hair with green tips and hazel brown eyes he has his hair down and his outfit colour theme was green,gold and black as for the other one he had white spiky hair and blue eyes he had a similar outfit to the first except his outfit colour scheme was blue,sliver and white, the more you looked at them you sure there are around 12-14 who hired little kids?
Before you could question it every more the black haired boy spoke
"Hello people of Agrabah, today me and my co-worker would like to introduce you to the one and only magnificent prince Amir!"
You were planning to leave not wanting to get yourself into that parade stuff, but before you turn around you saw a guy around your age who was wearing a white prince like attire and was wearing a turban on his head with purple gems on it and genuinely had a purple-white theme, was that prince Amir? Honestly he looked idiotic but then again who are you to speak? Your job will start soon so it's better you leave before your boss fires you, honestly you boss is an asshole with half of the things you do but what can you do life isn't that easy honestly it's shitty.
Well that doesn't matter, you should start heading back to work if you won't your goal will go even further away than it already is,when you finally arrived it only was a few hours before you saw the prince again with his little helpers, the green one looked happy and exited while the other one looked like he didn't want to be there which you honestly understood working for spoiled people might not be the greatest, you only worked with one and that was the king honestly you wouldn't be surprised if his daughter wanted him dead, then the green boy came running towards you with the other one trying to stop him
"excuse me, how much do those fruits cost?"
"hm? Oh they cost 5$"
"only 5$? Well then I would like to get 4 of those"
"alright that be 20$"
The boy paid you with the correct amount and took the fruits before giving one to you
"huh? Why are you giving one to me?"
" you look hungry so I want you to eat something, plus it's so warm out you probably thirsty too"
"ah it's not that big of a de-"
"Killua go get them some water"
"yes you highness"
"heh?! There's no need, yes I'm thirsty and all that but you don't need to spend your money on me"
"it's fine really, plus working while being thirsty isn't a good idea"
"true, I guess"
"ah by the way, by any chance do you know someone who wants to open a public library here?"
"a public library...uh no I don't"
"are you sure you seem sweaty?"
"it's very hot out, that's why"
"you sure? I'm not th-"
"I'm back with the water"
"ah that's great, here drink some"
"thank you truly, actually a question why are you looking for that person?"
"that would be because our princely is interested in them"
"Killua shut it"
"am I wrong?"
"not really, it's just I'm looking for someone else and I'm sure they are the same person"
"hm? And who would that person be? Maybe I know them"
"uh well"
"by any chance do you know someone by the name of [Y/N] [L/N]?"
"hm? Is that the person you are looking for?"
"no just a name I heard somewhere, and I want to see how this person looks"
"ah well that would be me"
Without your knowledge the so-called prince Amir blushed a little, looking at the beauty before him that being you, honestly he felt bad knowing he's lying to you about his identity he's quite literally committing a crime something you hated back then, and probably still do but Leorio didn't want to disappoint you especially since he's about to commit another crime for you
Before he could say something Gon signed Killua to start moving,and Gon waved you goodbye, well those 3 were odd...and that's exactly why you think royalty is stupid...most of the time at least when you meet the princess she wasn't that bad but HER servant holy shit that woman scared you how does princess Bisky deal with Palm as her servant or you should say right hand woman, if you were princess Bisky you would probably run off too, wait why did you say run off too... Oh shit was that princess Bisky running a few minutes ago away from the guards?! Well honestly that is not a surprise for you drama always happens in the streets literally but now you do wonder what was prince Amir planning He acted a bit odd? You don't know why but his behaviour seems off, almost as if he's hiding something from everyone except his servants, but if you are correct what is he planning? Is he planning to help the public library to be open? Or to get married to princess Bisky? Or maybe he's here to conquer Agrabah? Wait why are you imagining scenarios like this? Why do you even care about what prince Amir wants, honestly if he did want to conquer Agrabah you should warn everyone if that will indeed happen...wait but how are you sure it's that? Hmmm I mean you could spy on him but then again that white haired boy has a bad vibe he probably will kill you if you dare to spy on prince Amir, plus you can't really do that if you have work, you truly want the community to have a public library if you won't work hard it will never happen, you doing this for the community and the children so they won't have to worry about being tricked by someone with higher knowledge.
୨⎯ "With Prince Amir/Leorio" ⎯୧
"What was that?!"
"what? I only helped you find her and I did didn't I?"
"yes but still she could have found you suspicious"
"so that person is your childhood friend?"
"yes they are"
"and also the one who wants to open the public library?"
"most likely yes"
"well that's certainly a mess, firstly you wanted to marry princess Bisky for money but now you want to pretend that you want to marry her to steal from her and help your friend"
"you have been stuck in that lamp for more then 1000 years, you don't know much about the life outside of it"
"...he has a good point Killua"
"I guess he does, anyway how are we going to go about that?"
"what do you mean by that?"
"I mean half of Agrabah heard that you are here for the mysterious person who wants to open a public library, if you suddenly be like oh yeah I'm here to marry princess Bisky people are going to suspect you"
"it will work out somehow"
"you seem to be quite interested in them aren't you Leorio?"
"of course I am, after all they are smart and fun and-"
"pretty?"
"beautiful/handsome, they got these eyes that just- and this hair and their smile"
"well seems like someone is hooked in love"
"maybe I am, who knows"
"well then it seems like we should put your plan into work, I heard princess Bisky ran off so you should find her and try to be-friend her"
"not court her?"
"probably not after all our princely currently is crushing on his childhood friend"
" oh yeah you're right, so befriending would be the better option"
"so let's get this all planned already, Leorio you will be-friend princess Bisky she has to trust you enough to invite you into the place and tell you where she keeps the money when you find out where you will have to tell us so we can take them and keep them safe, what's also important is you can't act like you have feelings for her"
"that's a great plan but how am I supposed to be-friend her?"
"how about, find out where she is bump into her 'accidentally' and promise her you won't tell anybody where she is, she's out to trust you after that"
Gon wasn't wrong if Leorio did show Bisky he's not her enemy and that he doesn't mind that she ran off for freedom she will definitely respect him, but there comes a little situation and that would be you, Leorio knows you are not that big of an idiot so you will definitely catch him, so he would need to have you trust him as prince Amir either that or tell you the true and obviously he will chose for you to trust prince Amir, after all he quite literally went missing and you probably mad at him I mean who wouldn't especially if you knew the reason, currently what the most important is befriending princess Bisky
After a few minutes of planning Leorio went where he heard princess Bisky was last seen, surprise surprise it was not so far from where you were before he could go further he heard yelling
"get back here thief!"
When Leorio looked it was you running towards someone running away with a bag full of fruits, and well the man didn't look and ran to Leorio and bumped into him, before Leorio could react he saw you grab the man by his collar and pulled him towards the stall forcing him to put the fruits back and then gave him a glare to leave if he knew what is good for him, when you finally calmed down you walked up to Leorio and helped him up
"I'm truly sorry your highness, I didn't mean for that to happen"
"it's alright really"
"ah I should get going if you are searching for the princess she's up there in that tower"
"Wait why did you tell me where she is?"
"it's only fair I do as an apology"
"ah then thank you very much, have a nice day"
Leorio left and started walking towards the tower, he couldn't help but smile at your kindness, holy crap how much he loves you
Eventually he arrived at the tower and saw princess Bisky smiling ear to ear
"so it's you who's planning to steal my money huh?"
"wha- what do you mean princess"
"I mean what I said, you like that person down there and you also know about her dream"
"...how did you?"
"I have eyes everywhere, what's most important is I gladly help you out only if"
"if?"
"you find me a replacement for a husband because the one my father wants me to marry is a psychopath"
"how am I supposed to do that?"
"Those genies of yours, ask them for help"
"wait how di- oh right I almost forgot"
"...but sure I do it"
"great anyway I go and convince my father to send your friend some money, if I'm being truthful you should tell her the truth"
Bisky ran off towards the palace happy about the fact she just created a new couple, and just how Bisky recommended Leorio started walking towards you scared to reveal the truth
"oh prince Amir is th-"
"I'm not prince Amir"
"huh?"
"guess you don't recognise me?"
Leorio then took off his turban and put on his glasses
"Leorio..."
"been a while haven't it"
Before Leorio could say anything you hugged him
"for god sake where have you been! I been so damn worried everyone was worried you just suddenly went poof and-"
"Alright Alright calm down take a deep breath,I will explain everything"
When you calmed down Leorio explained to you how some king forced him to look for a lamp with two genies but Leorio didn't find it and was locked in a cave, but luckily food was there and drinks too at this point he also mentions how the king did the same to his father and years later he found it and made 2 wishes 1.to leave the cave 2.to become a prince and that he has one last wish left and he also mentioned the plan he had before, which caused you to hit him in the head(or face) but after getting hit Leorio just promised to never try to commit a crime if he will you have the full permission to hit him as hard as you can.
After that Leorio called Killua and Gon that were his genies and asked them for help with the Bisky situation, eventually they found a perfect person and matched them with Leorio wishing for those two to become humans, with the help of Bisky you opened a public library where you and Leorio worked with Princess Bisky support, and with the permission of Killua and Gon you adopted them both and eventually got married, and lived you happily ever after
The Enchanted Lilies' story
It begins with Karoline Swan, the loyal traveler who can discover nature, music, inspirations & friendship. Before meeting princess Snow White in the end, she saw and went inside the Mine to curiously take a look while the dwarves are away, but until she spotted something rare and shiny in the dark; a special gem with gleaming magic that can't be explained yet. So Karoline has asked Doc, after the dwarves got back from the cottage, about what this gem is or what it's meaning of it, but the answer's classified for now, so they've decided to let her keep it as a reward for even helping them stop the Evil Wicked Queen and Karoline says goodbye to her new friends until next time.
After many travels, Karoline has now discovered that the mystical gem has random power of their own; which she realized that Karoline can form White Wings for flight. So she went to the jewelry marketplace and asked to make a necklace (and calls it the Floral Medallion), then she meets Bella, who works with her parents at the flower shoppe, from the village outside of Paris France and gave her the necklace, which gives her the ability to talk to animals and somehow turns into a mermaid when her gem got wet.
The duo then traveled to England, but gotten kidnapped by Neverland pirates at night as baits, but Peter Pan, the Lost Boys, his fairy sidekick Tinkerbell and her friend Skyler Lightningmist came to rescue their two new friends & then Captain Hook and his crew are fighting off Peter's army, but when Karoline's and Bella's necklaces' gems glow, it flies over to appear on around Skyler's neck, turned into a actual sized human (her magic is resizing from shrinkable fairy to growing tall, and communicates with fairies too) and take down the pirate crew. Then after the battle, Tinkerbell is writing something to the Fairy Council from Pixie Hollow; whether Skyler can stay in Neverland (as a fairy or human) or leave... so after one day of tough decision; Tinkerbell's decided to let Skyler go join Karoline & Bella on a new adventure outside of Neverland.
and then it's Agrabah. Karoline, Bella and Skyler met Mirage who works at the jewelry kiosk at the market place at the main street outside the palace where Princess Jasmine lived, but there's one of the things Bella & Skyler have in common; the (different) royalties. While trying to stop a certain villain, Mirage saw the action of her new friends with three of their Floral Medallions glowing with different abilities, she's never seen any jewel like it until Mirage decides to join side by side and defeat them with her somewhat mysterious power; fiery chaotic Kung-Fu skills.
and after facing evil, Mirage has joined with Karoline Swan, Bella and Skyler as from trio to quartet, they have to pick a group name, but just until Skyler looked at the necklaces they're wearing, she's picked the catchy yet magical name for the future; The Enchanted Lilies. They all loved the name and agreed to Skyler, so they have performed the song before hitting the road to success.
