FFHDHSJDJ Okay so he did it all in one go because if he had let himself spiral over it he would have talked himself out of doing it, but he absolutely paced outside the wine shop for like 20 minutes pep talking himself up and he didn’t actually go in until someone was like bro????? You good????? Then the wine ended up being cheaper than he thought so he rang Tendou to ask what other things you liked - which of course, got Tendou’s seal of approval 😌 - and he talked him through your fave snacks and candy.

The apron was a personal choice after seeing how stained yours was, and he just chose a color he thought would look good on you 😌💕 but he gives the credit to tendou, you don’t need to know that 🤭

I feel like the characters are genuinely three dimenional rather than the one sided sterotype/fanon versions of their characterizations and i am LIVING for it. You don't make this knock off Ushijima where hes just the blunt farmboy/robo-dad who doesnt know human emotion. HE KNOWS EXACTLY WTF HES DOING! He knows his former teammates probably up, down, side to side, and inside out. Osamu isn't just the "good twin", he still grew up with Atsumu. THEY ARE SIBLINGS! And as the youngest of 5 i can tell you right here right now that you WILL develop habits from eachother, both good and bad. Osamu isn't as goody toe shoes. He has simply witnessed the effects of his brother's shitty personality and decided "hell nah im not gonna be like that"(personally i know this feeling ALL too well😑) he made the executive decision to simply NOT be an all around asshole. But this does not mean hes not a snide ass motherfucker when he wants to be! Your characters are NOT just the creation of what PEOPLE want these characters to be but they feel GENUINE and REALISTIC!

I'm gonna be completely honest....I AM IN LOVE WITH ITADAKIMASU! like.....i love the portrayal of Osamu personally cuz he maintains that kinda chill demeanor, but lets be honest he's a Miya so he's gonna be a bit petty and competitive. i literally havent read the manga and havent seen to the top yet but this seems really accurate from the knowledge i have gathered from MANY hours of Osamu fics(cuz i dont even knows this man truely but i already simp) and clips from youtube. Also side note....idk if you mean to cause this reaction but ya girl CRIED in the chapter about Tendou and shit. Idk WHAT exactly caused this reaction.....maybe cuz I have underlying abandonment issues that I DIDNT EVEN KNOW ABOUT....but who knows! Love your writing so far! Keep up the good work!!!!

I actually had to step back from chapter 5 for a little bit because I was too in my head and stressing that the way I plan to write him might verge on him being OOC, because a lot of people write him off as just the good boy (and he is!! but he still has that Miya Bitch Energy) so it seriously means so much to me to hear that others feel I’m doing him justice. Also this smau is a very self indulgent fic so Y/n’s issues are gonna reflect my own issues in various ways (I’m sorry if she ends up unrelatable at times because of this, I plan to explore other characterizations of the reader once Itadakimasu!! is finished!) but I’m so incredibly happy that the story is achieving what I was hoping and reaching an audience it effects! gahhh just thank you bunches for this, I really needed it today and this made my whole day ;-; you are so sweet I love you and I hope you find 100 dollars on the ground someday

Oh I really enjoyed this chapter. Whew, there was quite a bit.

First, I love Kita for being such a good person to vent to. I love that judgment-free zone, it's great. And that discussion between Osamu and Kits really warmed my heart.

And then Atsumu comes in and just does...what he's supposed to do, LMAO. I'm living for it.

And y/n being like "Haha, I'm gonna ruin this man's career." We love it, keep Osamu sweating, queen.

OHHHHHHHH SHIT!!!!! Theres a bit to unfold here! This chapter was SPICY! Honestly......Y/n making sweet onigiri is one of the BIGGEST "FUCK YOU"s of the year. This man started a war he was not ready for and Y/n's response to Osamu is "you insulted my grandmother's recipe so now you shall SUFFER!" And honestly im LIVING FOR IT! though i theorize the onigiri might be a bit salty from Y/n's tears that Osamu caused.

But TBH Osamu might need some Xanex for that anxiety like DAMN. But like......He kinda does have reason to worry. Cause shes already a step ahead of him and could TOTALLY ruin him, and it seems like shes out to do just that cuz Osamu is a Dumbass. What he doesnt see is that if they got together they can rise up to be a fucking food empire! BUT NO! WHY? CAUSE OSAMU'S BRAIN SUDDENLY TURNED INTO AN AGGRESSIVELY COMPETITIVE ONIGIRI! You heard it here folks! OSAMU HAS ONIGIRI BRAIN! AND THE ONLY CURE IS TRUE LOVE!!!! let just see if Y/n wants to help with that.

Oof. Part 8. Let me start off saying that it was SO GOOD! No wait it was DELICIOUS! (ya see what i did there haha...) but i LOVE the conflicting emotions and I, for one, would totally look for validation from my peers...even if i hate them...I WOULD JUST WANNA PROVE THEM WRONG GODDAMMIT!!!!! But then...things were going smoothly for once, like...."sir, do i know you? Cause you certainly aren't the Miya Osamu i know". But then....within a blink of an eye hes back and out for blood, apparently. MAN REALLY TRIED IT! He really tried to tell me how to run my business and slandered my grandmother's curry. I was about to throw HANDS, man. YOU DONT EVEN KNOWWWWW!!!!! Well...actually you might know but thats besude the point. You can say ANYTHING to me, I won't give a DAMN. But if you slander my Grandmother's cooking, Sir, I'm personally dragging you Hell myelf after I make you choke on that curry.

....wow i really woke up and chose violence today....oh well...

But i really did have tears of frustration in my eyes at the end. Like not only is upset, but he doesnt even clearly explain himself properly, leaving you feeling like inadequate SHIT, but he takes all those good memories of the curry and FUCKING TAINTS THEM! THAT BASTARD!

Long story short, Osamu aint shit, who needs love and validation?! (Thats a lie, i need love and validation XD)
