I don't have a screenshot of it, but someone a couple of months back was absolutely ripping the young bucks to shreds essay style for making being evps part of their on screen characters, saying they should've never done it, and kept kayfabe and real life separated. Like.....bro. when have the bucks ever had a separation there? And also, everyone knows it anyways, so when it wasn't a part of their characters, everyone said they were booking themselves to win anyways. Like, the bucks have discourse nearly as bad as cm punk does. I have feelings about this lmfao

Oh god that's hard. Probably just people being willfully ignorant of character development that isn't just thrust in their faces. There are subtleties.

This is the first week that the top overall smash rankings haven't changed. Bianca Belair juuuuust missed knocking Hangman out of the top 5, but she earned her spot as 3rd overall in the women's rankings. It was a little surprising to see Will Ospreay do so poorly. I hate him, but I thought others thought he was hot in a cocky bastard sort of way. I was not surprised to see Dalton Castle score nearly 70%. The man is a delight in every way.

I had to block someone for threatening violence in the tags for a poll recently. It hasn't been much of an issue, but I ask again: please please please don't threaten violence against others even as a joke. Yes, wrestling is a violent sport and we all talk about how hot it is when they bleed all over, but it's distressing to see threats in my notifications. Please get passionate (the aggressive lobbying for Nick Jackson has made my week!) but keep it friendly.

Pandora's Basement: This would be uncomfortably autobiographical, which is maybe why its hard to write. A play about a teenage boy and the voices in his head. It would use a lot of found text and she'd figure out she's trans and her mom is abusive. She never leaves her bedroom until the very end of the play.

A Night at Camp Eurydice: An outline for a comic about a bunch of teenage girls in a summer camp with a demon, but the demon is a metaphor for mental illness.

Runakt Vagabonds [working title]: A walking simulator I'm putting together in RPGmaker. A writer is tasked with creating a national epic for an empire on the brink of collapse. So far I have some ideas and a map.

The Good King: A play about a prince trapped in classic stories, who does not like that he is trapped in said stories. I got to a point in act 2 (of 3) where I was like, I need someone else's eyeballs on this before I can keep going and I just haven't gotten anyone's eyeballs on it.

one of these might end up as my English capstone come second semester senior year.

7. A medium of art you don't work in but appreciate

OUGH i'm a big fan of. art in general. so it's hard for me to decide but... i'd say the main ones that come to mind are procedural art (like with... nodes & computer-generated paths, not like AI stuff), sculpture and cinema... for procedural art & sculpture i'd looove to try/get better/do more of it but for the moment... sitting listening and learning.

I don't even know what My Art Style is/looks like to external eyes + I am Aware i pick bits and pieces (and sometimes consciously do so) from artstyles to absorb into my own but... i'd say realistic 19th century portraiture, crystal cubism and the incredibly detailed unnerving Nerveness of Zdzisław Beksiński...

ooh i have a bunch! a lot of them are really just. "here's a project that i came up with and wrote a lot of but now want to rewrite" (the trovatore fic that i've started three times, the don carlo fic that i am now rewriting...ish, and the pathologic fic that i started).

but i think the trovatore fic, which i have been writing and rewriting on and off for quite a while now, is the biggest one. i've actually reached the logical conclusion of it, which is filing off the serial numbers and adding original characters, which i believe is what we might call "original fiction".

but this one is basically... some sort of fix-it such that everybody gets married* and nobody dies unnecessarily. it was also me going "what if i brought this back into line with actual history?", which worked... surprisingly well considering how ahistorical trovatore is.

the serial numbers filed off version was... a lot more complicated (and set in england) but it was basically "guy plans to kill other guy, then henry v dies so they have to pretend to like each other". could probably have worked but i don't really have the patience for serious historical fiction.

a book that is close to your heart The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea by Axie Oh. The vibes are exquisite and as soon as I finished the book I reread it (reread as in where I jump around to different passages and essentially reread it) OK I KNOW THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE 1 BOOK but I have to mention The Wicker King by K. Ancrum. Bridge to Terabithia on steroids fr, it's such an experience. maybe i shouldve saved this for the acid trip question but whatever I have more answers to that question anyway

3. a standalone you wish was part of a series Hani and Ishu's Guide to Fake Dating by Adiba Jaigirdar. The ending is just too inconclusive. Also all of the Natasha Pulley standalones
