Favourite character: It’s hard to choose between Sento and Banjou!!

Funniest character: Mm, Gentoku. And I don’t mean Gentoku when he becomes an ally, nope - he’s been funny from the get go. Kazumin was also very funny in the first half or so.

Best-looking character: I can’t choose!

3 favourite ships: While I’ve shipped pretty much everything (e v e r y t h i n g), I only ship the best match boys rn.

Least favourite character: It’s Killbas, but if we’re only talking about characters from the actual show, it’s Fuu

Least favourite ship: Sento/Misora

Reason why I watch it: It has basically everything I’ve always wanted to see in a show. It’s incredibly dear and precious to me! The characters, the themes, the humor, the suits...everything is so me that it’d be impossible for me not to love it to pieces.

Why I started watching it: It was summer, 2017, when the name of the next rider show was revealed. I had just got recently into KR, but the show that was airing back then looked so bad to me I decided to skip it and wait for the next one. When I first saw the poster, I knew I’d like the show. When I watched the trailer, I knew I’d like the show a lot. When I saw a clip of Build’s cameo in Ex-Aid, I knew I’d love this show. When I watched the first episode, tho, I instantly fell in love with it. It’s one of the rare cases where I absolutely love a rider show since ep 1.

it was still nada who picked up the helmet and choose to use the power, knowing what it would do to him. So it WAS nada that attacked koh. Your bad atempt to defend him just proves my point of how you're trash for liking him

Just like with your last ‘’ask’’ I highly doubt you even saw the episode/read the subtitles, so, idk, maybe just start with that????

Yes, Nada sought out the armor willingly, but I doubt he knew about the curse and how it would take control of him before putting it on. He likely only knew about some armor that was originally created by his tribe and heard stories about how it was wandering somewhere in space looking for strong opponents. 

So either he, A) wanted to prove his worth and strength by looking for this armor and defeating it (proving he is strong enough to beat a legendary armor/opponent, only to find the armor empty after the events of Strongest Battle, which could’ve let to him going for option B). 

B) he wanted to prove his worth by using the armor (again, he likely had no idea about the curse).

he probably only learned about the whole ‘’taking control’’ thing after he put on the armor and saw the flashbacks to what happened with Master Green, and at that point it was already too late for Nada to go back.

Can you honestly blame Nada for what Gaisoulg is doing when Nada had no idea that all of this would even happen?

Yes, Nada picked up the armor, and yes he did so for dark reasons because he was at a low point in his life. He was hurt, bitter, desperate. And if you think those traits alone make him a bad, irredeemable character then congratulations on your extremely unrealistic and one-dimensional view on humans and life.

And do I need to remind you about that first scene with Nada in the forest? He’s swatting at the ghostly armor that’s about to force itself onto him, showing he doesn’t want to become Gaisoulg, and this time, he won. Other times he probably fought just as hard but lost…

Also this?

He regrets it. He doesn’t want this anymore, But Gaisoulg’s hold on him is very strong and continues to make him do things he’s gonna regret. Is the jealousy, bitterness and arrogance still there should you magically wish Gaisoulg away? Probably, but it would be far FAR less, and again, just because he has a darker side and his personality isn’t 100% rainbows and cotton candy, doesn’t inherently make him a bad person. It makes him an interesting, realistic and well-written person. No one, absolutely no one is without faults, there’s not a single person who never has a negative or selfish thought.

I think Nada’s story with Gaisoulg can almost be seen as an addiction. He sought it out because he was at a low point and he wanted power, he wanted that ‘high’, and now it has taken control of him, he realizes his mistakes and wants to be rid of its influences but he can’t, at least not on his own. And in my opinion, you don’t condemn addicts for that one bad choice, especially not if they want to change. You reach out to them and help them overcome it. 

But maybe you are the type of person that would condemn them, in that case, I feel really bad for anyone who ever needed your help.

I actually doubt that this will make you change your mind. You want to continue disliking Nada even after reading this? I suppose that’s fine, but do yourself a favor and either block me or block my tags because I won’t ever stop liking this character and sharing my love for him on tumblr. You stick to your side of the line, and I’ll stick to mine, but don’t come back to my inbox to resort to childish name-calling.

"All right," he says finally. "All right, I won’t hurt him anymore." Resurface "What?" Jin asks, hounding her still as he accompanies her while walking home. "You have no dream, Valkyrie?" "Don't sound so surprised," she tells him. "Sometimes adults... just don't have them, I suppose. It's not necessary to live." Live, she thinks. An odd concept to discuss with something that isn't alive in the first place. "Then I guess I'm better than you!" he points out. "Because I have a dream." Yua pauses in her tracks. "You do?" Then, despite herself, "What is it?" He laughs. "It's a secret." Winter She clutches her jacket tighter, not wanting to show the Humagears how uncomfortable she is inside their base, yet feeling cold all the same. "Perhaps you should start," Horobi says, turning towards her. "You have all our current equipment at your disposal. Should you require more--" "Wait." Yua turns, just in time to see Jin place a blanket over her shoulders.

She blinks. “This is--” "You look cold," he says, shocking her even further. "Jin," Horobi calls; a warning. "What?" he asks the other Humagear. "She's taking Naki out of Vulcan. She’s helping us. I think she can be my friend." Then he turns to face her again - and smiles. "And I want all my friends to be comfortable as best as I can make them."

10. Favorite tie-in movie?

The Fourze segment of the Ultimatum has always been a favourite! I like the concept of Reiwa: The First Generation and Geiz Majesty is nice. I remember watching Dobutsu Sentai Go-Busters and Shinkenger vs. Goseiger a lot, back in 2014

19. If you could go back and change one show, what would you change? Asking the tough questions here...hm...Kamen Rider is where I’d like to make some tweaks...Zero One is a complicated basket case and Kiva is Kiva, so I’d go with certain aspects of Drive. Starting with the last few episodes of the series because “Kiriko doesn’t know her own feelings” and “Chase dies” and the Banno saga bother me

You’re probably talking about Zero-One so -

He screams “villain”, “some version of Parado” and “reminds me of Philip” at the same time, but I’m already - interested in him. I want to know if he’ll stay a villain until the end but is quite noble about it, will change to the side of good, etc.

And tbh I was first interested in these two since they feel like the most likely to have something canon between them

But then my mind slipped into the cracks of “what if...I ship the girl with the villain character I kind of like” because I don’t really have a villain/good guy ship in toku? I think? And it would be interesting to think about -

Good things about Geiz!

From what I can tell, he’s gone through some character development - and probably got the brunt of it from the cast. He was determined to kill Sougo if he hinted as much as becoming an evil overlord, but now he values Sougo as a friend and refuses to let time separate them

The fact that he wears those baby buckles over anything, and hardly seems bothered that he might get odd looks for it. That’s a level of confidence we all need

He stole the Drive Watch of his time from a demonic overlord who could do the Thanos snap

He once grappled with Momotaros, an MVP who was part of a series that was an Ensemble Darkhorse for Kamen Rider

Back when travelling in the past to defeat Another Riders was a thing, there was an arc where he executed some nifty moves, the clock from his henshin trinket ticking behind him, before donning that Kamen Rider gear. It was beautiful

Pointed the Faiz gun at someone who Sougo mistook as Tsukuyomi’s boyfriend in a fit of jealousy/denial/”no, you are unsuited for her”

Refused to side with Swartz to bring down Sougo, because even if Geiz hated Sougo at the point, he wasn’t going to abandon his morals

Life mostly consists of being stressed about school and wanting to get everything done, and then on here I’m excited over Korean dramas and dying to write some fics :)

4. Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP?*

I do have a couple of NOTPs which happen to be popular ones in the fandom, but I do my best to keep away because even if I don’t ship those ships, I want to respect those who do and give them their space

20. What is the purest ship in the fandom?

Canon would be Ryusei/Tomoko because that Ultimatum hug - “Tomoko-chan” - Ryusei telling Tomoko to visit him and saying that he doesn’t have a girlfriend unless Tomoko wants to be his - all of it heals my broken, crack/rare pair heart. It’s a blessing to have among the canon ships

Non-canon would be Right/Kagura for me because when you put pure and Pure™ together, we have a holy place

23. Unpopular character you love?

I said in an earlier ask that I like Drive Reiko, but I definitely don’t love her? If that makes sense? I would say I’m fortunate in which I end up loving the popular characters in fandom :)

9. Do you always have romantic ships for fandoms?

I think I do. Sometimes it’s because of a ship that I get invested in a fandom; other times ships “find me” - if that makes sense - and I stick by them. Shipping is usually an enjoyable experience for me, despite any complaints I have

But it’s also cool if I don’t have romantic ships! Familial and platonic relationships are just as wonderful ^.^
