Dogwood - You've been quiet for a week or so- do they reach out to ask what's wrong, or do they let you have your space?

I can't imagine a situation where we're not physically right next to eachother that long, but if it did happen they'd reach out. They're a very clingy, prone to think the worst kind of crew.

Jessie's the least likely to reach out as she's pretty use to people just vanishing from her life, so she wouldn't be that worried. But Wobbeffet and Meowth worrying would eventually get her to cave and call me.

Cottonwood - If you took a vacation together, where would you go? What would you do?

Back to Alola! We'd visit Beware and Stufful, chill and play on the beach, plan to stay in a nice hotel just to have Beware INSIST we come home with her and rest in the cave... and honestly that is much better than any fancy hotel could be.

I'd also probably visit my brother Molayne while we're there, maybe finally introduce them to him.. but also probably not skdjkfsk They're shy and anxious around Gym Leader types.

Palm - If they did something you didn't agree with, would you call them out on it or let it slide? Would they call you out on something?

Jessie does whatever she wants and calling her out on it is a risk I'm not willing to take. Meowth maybe it depends on what he did, he's pretty reasonable. Wobbuffet has never done anything wrong in his life he is perfect.

Oh but they'd call me out for sure, especially Jessie. She eats Meowth's special dessert he was saving in the fridge? She did nothing wrong. I ate Meowth's special dessert he was saving in the fridge? I owe the entire hideout dessert now for such a heinous crime. Heaven forbid I actually do something to her she doesn't like...

I feel like following a crew of thieves around watching them attempt to steal some kid's Pikachu for years kind of lowers your standard for what's worth picking a fight over, but that's just me.

🔥 um... pokemon? Team Rocket? I know that's not very exciting but I can't think of anything good right now, lol

⭐️ YEAH POKÉMON!!! I have played at least one of ever mainline game since Blue 🥰 I think each generation has its own charms, and each one is connected to memories of the people I battled and traded with irl! I have too many favorites to list honestly. I have a very special affinity for Magikarp lately though, because I can super relate to flopping around uselessly in hopes of someday getting up that waterfall 😂

⭐️ TEAM ROCKET!!! I don’t find them all that interesting in the games, but the TRio (plus Wobbuffet) from the anime are my absolute favorites. Like…I love to watch them fail, but I also genuinely want to see them succeed (just, you know, at non-evil things). Every time they are on screen, I am happy to see them. I love Jessie being the world’s most disastrous girlboss. I love James getting dressed up in an 18th-century French women’s frock. I love Meowth being a lovable smartass. I love Wobbuffet popping out of its Poké Ball to awkwardly express its exuberance. Whenever they attain that rare moment of happiness, I feel fuzzy inside. The amount of joy they bring me with their antics is ridiculous. They have had their ups and downs as the show lost and gained writers, but one thing remains constant: I have been waiting for Jessie and James to smooch since 1998 🤪 They almost certainly will not, and I can live with that as long as they get a nice send-off. Because there will always be fanfiction for the rest. ♥️

While the Trainers are away, the Mons will play! I think Wobbuffet has had a bit of a bad influence on poor innocent(?) Mr. Mime. This was inspired again by @yamujiburo 's wonderful comic series, specifically this recent ask that included new headcannons, where Mimey and Wobbuffet are besties. The idea to have them attempt a heist while their trainers were away on vacation seemed too funny not to draw. (I also know that Mimey's invis-walls probably don't require any effort to stop things, but it's way funnier this way so) Thank you again, as always, for the wonderful art and basically creating a ship from whole-cloth and sailing it into widespread acclaim lol

While not necessary, Wynaut is definitely cute!

I really don’t have any theories towards Wynaut’s/Wobbuffet’s tail, but I definitely appreciate the one that theorizes the tail’s the actual main body and the rest is just a special bit to absorb pain. I just don’t believe it as true.

I don't have a lot of doodles because I've been so busy this summer but I have some sketches I never finished!

Although Meowth was usually the one to make Team Rocket's contraptions, Jessie picked up enough to be quite handy herself. She helps fix a lot of the appliances around the house

Delia's incredibly touched starved and subconsciously stands or sits really close to Jessie, always maintaining some sort of contact

After their first journey together, Jessie and Delia started doing smaller daytrips to random spots in Kanto to befriend and learn about Pokémon together. Helpful to satiate Delia's want for adventure and good for Jessie to research for her nursing job

Jessie's not a picky eater at all and Delia knows this but there have been several occasions where Jessie would make herself an awful concoction that she finds delicious and Delia just has to sit there in awe.

Jessie is constantly asking Delia "do u love me?" even after they get married

Despite Mimey not liking Jessie, he and Wobbuffet are best friends. Early in Jessie and Delia's relationship, when they were spending every waking moment with each other, Wobbuffet and Mimey became closer in the slight "absence" of their trainers

Hello again! This week, let’s ask this: who are some characters who have never met that you’d love to have meet? I think that Sapphire and Iris would have a lot of fun outdoorsy adventures! Alternately it would be immensely entertaining to put Gary, Ruby, Drew, Paul, Harley, Barry, Burgundy, and Gladion in a room together like some sort of hellish rival gathering just to see what happens. Bonus ask: place your guesses on how that would go if you feel like it. Go wild.

Aw Jeez, I'm still on master quest, and I haven't watched that many episodes out of order so I don't know a lot of those characters that well.

For characters I'd want to meet? This is a weird one, but wobbuffet and Jessie's lickitung. Have Meowth translate. Wobbuffet thanking lickitung for getting traded and telling it how happy he is to be jessies pokemon and be with team rocket and wishing Benny well. I think that'd be really cute!

does sylveon count in your fairy run?

Oh boy this is a bit late, but yes. When I caught the eevee I evolved into sylveon I only used it for wild battles until he evolved. That's the loophole I usually go for when a pokemon doesn't fit my specific criteria at a certain point in a challenge run, just grind it on random encounters until it evolves and does. I had to do that with my slakoths in my gimmick ability only run in Pokemon Sapphire because when they evolve into vigoroth, they lose their truant ability and thus that defeats the point of using them, but they regain it when they evolve into slaking...

Which is about 12 levels after evolving into vigoroth, at the earliest. I tried to beat Archie on Mount Chimney with both my slakoths unevolved but it wasn't going to happen at their level, so I just bit the bullet and grinded on wild encounters + using the rare candies from the hilariously busted pre-nerf pickup ability. Man, the difference twelve levels and two evolutionary stages does is incredible... I tried like 15 times to beat Archie with my two slakoths and shedinja and it was a joke, but he didn't stand a chance against just one of my slakings. I mean slaking's a crazy strong pokemon in general and at that point they were a bit overleveled, but still. It was extremely gratifying.

Back to eevee, in Pokemon X when you catch it, they're at a level range where lower level ones know a fairy type move (which is necessary to evolve them into sylveon) but the higher level ones forget it, and the next fairy type move doesn't come for about another ten levels... But I totally forgot that until I'd already gotten my eevee up a few levels, and retiring him just to use another because it was more convenient would've made me feel bad.

I almost sent you an ask to see if you would draw Tendou and his Wobbuffet, but then I had other pokemon ideas for him and just couldn't decide. I love that he has a battle cafe!!!

I just feel like he'd have been a trainer and not want to fully give that up but part of his passion lies in making confectioneries, so he does both!

Wobbufett wasn't on my list but yeah I can see that, I just wanted him to have a bunch of silly little guys as well as some food Pokémon. Not pictured are Fidough, Polteageist, Tangela, Mr. Rime, Shuckle, and enough Unown to spell Tendou Satori above his head for a little flourish. But, Spinda, Alcremie, and Kecleon were the first three I thought of.
