Sorry, I couldn’t narrow down! 😩 I love learning about interpersonal relationships, but I also really wanted to know about which dorm your Yuus would go to if they weren’t in Rmashackle! I’m pretty sure I know where Yuusha would go though lmao 👀

also this isn't too much at all, there's no limit! (it'll only take me a while longer to answer depending on how many >.< but i wouldn't be against it)

and i answered for both of them because they're all really fun questions! i'm a sucker for interpersonal relationships too, character dynamics are really fun to explore and play around with!

(for #2: technically for both of them, their closest platonic friends would be grim, ace, and deuce because they've been there with them since the beginning. malleus would also be a runner up canonically but that's somewhat boring so the they are immediately disqualified.) (for #8: both of them dislike crowley the most so also automatic disqualification. (i’m not a crowley hater, it’s just funny in-universe 😭) i’m going to stick with the main boys and ignore the staff and other characters.)

2) Who is your OC’s closest platonic friend?

Yuusha's closest platonic friend would be Kalim.

They had an IMMEDIATE bond because of Kalim's friendliness and openness which is something Yuu had barely seen in the time she had been in NRC. It was a breath of fresh air. Of course, at first, she was skeptical (especially following that whole Scarabia fiasco), but they naturally gravitated toward one another and just heavily clicked in a purely platonic sense.

Food and gifts definitely seem to be their love language towards one another. And on top of that, they just love to hang out to have fun. Yuusha never gets tired of Kalim. And they seem to be very close with one another to the point you'd think they were dating.

It helped that Yuusha tends to be very affectionate towards her close friends. She can be very touchy and overall not afraid to show how she feels about people. However, she only sees all of her relationships as platonic (that is until the one(tm) cough Jamil cough can manage to click her heart a certain way) (if Yuusha and Jamil just decided to stay friends instead, Jamil would be her closest but I digress).

8) Is there a character your OC doesn’t like, if so why?

The twins. Yuusha doesn't necessarily consider it as a hate/dislike of them because she still manages to tolerate them; it's more that she doesn't trust them fully.

She finds it hard to read them and predict their next move. And that sometimes scares her. If there's anything that she fears the most is the idea of being used and taken advantage of. It is humiliating and downright degrading. It tells her that she was wrong about people and that she was too trusting. And that's something she hates having to accept.

And Yuu knows the twins are fully capable of that without remorse, so she believes that she always has to watch herself around them, making sure she always stays on whatever their "good side" may be. At least Azul seems to be straightforward with what he wants from other people, but with the twins, it'll always feel like a wild guess.

10) What dorm would your OC be sorted into besides their current one?

hndsjfdlk you're right, Yuusha would be in Scarabia

If Yuusha were asked this question, she would think that she would be sorted into Pomefiore because of its spirit of tenacity. She's always determined to work on bettering herself and doesn't like to settle with the bare minimum. It wouldn't be her first choice but that's what she would think.

But really Yuusha embodies more of Scarabia's spirit of mindfulness. Yuusha is mindful in an empathetic sense, and that trait of hers is more outwardly apparent.

She's pretty in tune with everyone's feelings which helps her to understand people better. And that also helps her to navigate her way around dealing with everyone.

If it benefits her, she would take advantage of people's feelings and emotions. It is usually not out of malice or selfishness, however. Yuusha will only do it if she thinks it will lead to the best outcome. Not that she would always be right.

2) Who is your OC’s closest platonic friend?

Yuuna’s closest platonic friend would be Riddle.

In general, Yuuna had grown a particular fondness for the Heartslabyul gang, and this was also especially apparent to Riddle. Despite being the first overblot Yuuna had witnessed, Riddle had grown on Yuuna and vice versa.

The two looked to be an unlikely pair—the hot-headed, abides-by-the-rules, powerful housewarden and the soft-spoken yet chaotic, magicless prefect.

It started with Riddle helping Yuuna study as a favor (and a thanks) for being the ones who were there during his overblot. But the study sessions turned into "hangouts" in the library, and it eventually transitioned outside—invitations to unbirthday parties, croquet, showing them the hedgehogs, etc. They also found things in common with one another, one of them being liking sweets.

Yuuna seems to have become Riddle's first real friend outside of Trey and Che'nya, helping him out of his comfort zone and let his inner child out once in a while. (also a bit of one-sided, unrequited crush from Riddle???)

8) Is there a character your OC doesn’t like, if so why?

There isn’t necessarily a character that Yuuna dislikes because they have grown somewhat attached to everyone.

However, if they were to consider someone who they liked the LEAST, it would be Sebek.

Sebek took the longest for Yuuna to get used to because, at first, they thought he was loud and condescending.

If there was anything Yuuna really hated, it would be being underestimated and treated as someone who is less than. And Sebek was the someone who would actually verbalize that, aggressively even.

But outside of Sebek's fanboyish tendencies, Yuu found his more genuine side once they managed to get to know him a bit better.

10) What dorm would your OC be sorted into besides their current one?

Yuuna would be sorted into Savanaclaw because of the dorm's spirit of persistence.

At first when I looked at Yuuna I was like, "oh they'd definitely be in Heartslabyul because I'd love that for them" considering their main squad is the Heartslabyul boys. Yuuna would think the same for themself.

But when I thought about it more, they would not be sorted into Heartslabyul at all because having some sort of strict code of conduct is not a defining thing about them.

Yuuna's physique and disposition is against Savanaclaw's stereotype of having the jock-types. They're not even very athletic, but they make up for it somewhat by being a competitive sort.

It's clear though that the dorm's spirit of persistence shows in Yuuna being the type to be adamant to achieve whatever they have to and not letting obstacles hinder them. They also have that loyal spirit that is akin to being part of a pack.

Also a little bonus, if Yuuna was a beastman, they'd be a rabbit :3

They love skateboarding and their stance is goofy.

They love to be spotlight when are with people who trust, so much that Luka often fight with Patito (a baby) in a sort of competition for who plays the fool the most to get attention, although the former are aware of why they do it while the latter does it because thinks she's playing with them.

They're very afraid of pigeons, all because a past trauma when were a child.

They have special days to make every day special and different (Fridays that eat pizza or watch horror movies, as pizza Fridays or horror Fridays. Or even pizza Fridays with horror if they do both, depending on the week).

They're Asian descent borned on Spain and many people think that their color hair is dye (tho only blue is dye).

You're fine! thank you for asking, sorry I've been slow as usual with updates, I still think about Mine every day but right now I'm struggling to balance my college work and my personal life. It's my first semester and I'm a little slow at getting into the hang of it. I also just recently got a significant other so I'm also trying to give them my time as well. That said I haven't had much time to draw so when I do I feel like I've lost a lot of skill. I want to get to a point where I feel both comfortable and confident to finish the refs, but I still would like to get out colored mini sketches of the rest of the cast. That said asks will also be completed slowly, I'm so upset, I got a valentines day ask and i wanted to finish it in time but I got busy with college work :( I also wanted to celebrate White day this year but it most likely wont happen on time. Other then that I've been well, thank you for asking. I hope you and everyone else has been feeling well and taking care of their physical and mental health!

6) What are your favourite genres of art?

hmm im a big fan of expressionism and impressionism. i like when art is bright and you can see the strokes it took to make it :]

13) Where do you draw inspiration from?

ooo most often its just any Fantasy media. games, animated movies (the rankin-bass hobbit is a favorite), shows. sometimes its a pretty person on the street, sometimes its thinking of my own life, sometimes its seeing a nice tree. ill just take it from wherever I can

15) Any tips and advice?

My personal very big #1 tip for any art is to practice being okay with scrapping your work, killing your babies. No matter how long it took to make, how much effort and force you put in, practice the thought that you can always just do it again. Art is inheritly finite, nothing will last forever. Its a good train of thought for daily drawing, being able to give up on a sketch or lines or colors or whatever you are struggling with and trying to force. Scrap it, and, more often that not, your next attempt it easier and better.

It also helps with situations that can, and will, happen where your art gets destroyed or lost. Actually, I recently just lost 13 of my sketchbooks. It's good to learn to be confident that you can always make it again. Even if you can't, you enjoyed the time making it so its not a loss. Not that thinking that way is easy, but I personally think its important.

When I was a junior in high school on the last day before summer break, i was talking about supernatural with a friend and quoted Deans line from season 8 “that’s what happens when you stand too close to exploding Dick” not knowing my band teacher had just opened the door until it was too late. We made awkward eye contact while he was halfway through the door, then he turned around and went back inside without a word. He was… so disappointed in me 😂 and I was mortified 😭 this man had never heard me say ANYTHING like that. I didn’t even swear at this point in my life, let alone say things like that when people I respected could hear🙃

🪐- name three good things going on in your life right now

Why did this take me so long to figure out🥲

1) I’m seeing one of my besties today for the first time in months! She’s visiting her family for two weeks (before ABANDONING ME by flying OUT OF THE COUNTRY to visit her in-laws smh) so she’s finally close enough that I can drive an hour instead of hopping on a plane!

2) I think I might have solved a problem in one of my original works! I adore the story but kept getting stuck in the same place, but I think I might finally be able to get out of it (or at least further along). I haven’t had the chance to sit down and do it yet, but I’ve been thinking about how the changes would apply for a couple weeks now😄

3) NEW HOZIER 😍

🔪 - what's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?

Just last month I looked up how to prevent a body from decaying in a cave multiple different times with different phrasing because I wasn’t getting the info I needed. 🥲 I did eventually just search “I’m writing a fictional story okay” so that would also be in the search history just in case🤣

The hardest thing to adjust to for Yuusha is generally having to fend for herself. Everything feels significantly harder to handle compared to her homeworld. She is fairly adaptable though, it's more of the emotional toll that is affecting her.

And it doesn’t really help that she tends to say what’s on her mind without thinking twice about it which sometimes lands her into trouble.

While Yuusha is a person who earned her own accomplishments, especially back in her homeworld, she was also privileged enough to have been provided a leg up when it comes to her pursuits. Which means that Yuusha had it somewhat easy.

Now she has to adjust her expectations and she has to figure out everything by herself in order to survive. And Yuusha is the type of person who refuses to ask for help. This is *her* problem and her problem alone.

She's just in a constant state of stress.

━━━━✦ Yuuna

Yuuna has zero memories of their home world. It is hard for them to adjust to the fact that (1) they can’t remember shit and (2) they can’t use magic in a place meant for magic.

They feel incapable and useless whenever they’re reminded that they are out of place in NRC—that they don’t belong there. Yuuna hates that others have to protect them because they don't have magic.

So to compensate, Yuuna attempts to “fake it till they make it”, and tries to prove their capabilities to others.

At first, they try to get in everyone’s good graces while also trying to prove themself to others that they’re not weak. Eventually though, Yuuna trying to befriend everyone turned genuine and real to the point that they just care about everyone.

And that motivated them more to become more capable for the ones they care about.

uugugughsh let me think. I used to be able to draw dragons pretty decently (in a watered down cartoonish style LMAO) but I’ve kinda lost it. I might try to draw them again sometime, and then maybe I’ll get around to learning how to draw full bodies, too 😭😭. and overall just throw my constantly changing art style at my already incompetent mind and BOOM disaster 😔

recently I’ve been making art to post online (as well as having fun dw). but don’t get me wrong there’s TONS of old art that is never breaching containment. plus I’ve only been on here for like 3-ish months? I’ve shared pretty much everything except the doodles I do in class- I don’t post those just bcz I’m lazy not bcz I don’t wanna share 💀

ooh YES I ALWAYS listen to music when drawing (when I can lol)! usually just my playlist(s), nothing special. I had Mariah Carey on loop for that one art request of wild’s and legend’s karaoke battle. for research, yknow. totally. just had to get in the mood. (I listend to that for hours on loop im insane) BUT ANYWAYS yeah just music :] whatever I’m in the mood for! :D 💖💖

5 things you love about louis?

1. his music, obviously! he's still evolving as an artist and still tries new things. i don't think he has found "his sound" yet and to be completely honest i don't think he needs to find just one signature sound. i love how he plays with rock, pop, ballads etc. and doesn't stick to one sound. i love that he's experimenting and does what he loves in terms of sound and lyrics. and whatever he does comes out as absolute bangers so!

2. his optimism about life despite what he's been through. he's so hopeful and looks at life and experiences and situations with such a positive way which i admire a lot about him. not like a toxic forced positivity. (that's my most favourite thing about him.)

3. his creativeness? creativity? what's the word? he's not a boring artist.

4. the relationship he has with the fandom. it's a cliche but like, despite what i think the boundaries between an artist and a fandom should be, i think we do really have a strong bond and a "special" relationship. not like he's our friend or any of that weird or personal bullshit, you know what i mean. the fans don't get left out of his work, of things he does as an artist, he likes to get the fans involved. you know what i mean? you can see that in his concerts as well.

5. i love that he wants to help other people in the music industry (to not get fucked over and exploited), especially new and young artists. that's a long conversation here.....anyway.

also. he's really pretty, isn't he? what's not to love?
