The world is a blur, when he’s on the court.

Heart racing, blood pumping, sweat beading down his nose his neck his hands as he grabs the ball, dribbles it once twice three times, passes it to Jimmy with open hands as he runs near the net. He’s their best bet, their best shot at scoring – he’s the tallest he’s the fastest he’s Flip fucking Zimmerman.

The lights are blinding but he searches through them for you, for your face in the crowd in the stands, always there to support him in all things. It’s the last game in the season of annual fundraisers, this time the proceeds benefit the children’s hospital and Flip just has to win, you’re watching, he has to show off for you, has to do well for you.

Jimmy passes the ball to Ron who passes the ball to Flip who shoots – three two one swish – nothing but net, and the crowd goes wild, cheering and stamping their feet with applause as the buzzer sounds, as the team rushes onto the court because they’ve just won the game, the Colorado Springs Police Department is the champion once again. A two year drought ended by the sound of your voice shouting and whistling and calling his name.

He searches for you, frantically, eyes wide with excitement, adrenaline skyrocketing through him because fuck he just won, he just won them the game against the fucking Fire Department, against the reigning champions two years in a row, those smug sons-of-bitches, and he wants nothing more than to wrap you up in his sweaty arms and kiss you tight in front of everyone.

But when he sees you, his blood runs cold, and his adrenaline spikes into a rush of rage, because one of them, one of the fire-rescue assholes, is blocking you repeatedly with an all too friendly smile on his face, trying to prevent you from getting to Flip.

“Hey!” He barks out, jealousy and possession ripping through his system.

His legs are long, and they carry him through the mass of people congratulating him and smacking his back and shaking his hand, with ease across the court, his sneakers squeaking high and loud as he claws his way to you.

The second you see him, you reach your arms out to him, try reaching around the huge body of the fireman, a guy named John Stanfield who’s always had too much of a thing for you. Flip grabs your hand and yanks you close to his chest, wraps you up and tucks your face under his chin.

“Flip – !” You immediately squeeze him tight, but he can’t even revel in the feeling of your affection, the sides of his vision going white white white with spotty anger. 

“Get away from her.” Flip’s chest is heaving as he stares John down, John who is rolling his eyes and brushing Flip’s glare away.

“Aw come on Zimmerman – ” He tries passing it off as being playful, as if Flip hadn’t been watching him eye you all night, as if there hadn’t been issues in the past of his gaze lingering too long, touches too friendly for a stranger.

“I said step the fuck away, Stanfield.” Flip isn’t having any of it, some primal urge in him wanting to rip the guy’s head off. This was his wife John was trying to fuck around with, how stupid could this guy be? “She doesn’t want to talk to you, do you honey?”

“Not really, sorry.” You say sheepishly from where you’re kissing the underside of Flip’s chin, a small soothing action to try and calm him down, but it only makes him more angry, because fuck you’re so good, so nice.

“No ketsl you don’t apologize, you didn’t do anything wrong.” He assures you, glaring daggers, his whole mood sour even though he should be celebrating, he should be getting lifted up on his teammate’s shoulders paraded around the court.

“All I was saying was – ” John starts but Flip shakes his head.

“I don’t give a shit, she doesn’t want to hear it.” He interrupts, causing John to huff and puff, his ego hurt. 

“Man fuck you.” He spits out, annoyance written all over his face in a way that makes Flip preen, because he knows he’s lost.

“Go be a sore loser somewhere else, before I charge you with harassment.” Flip stares the fireman down until he leaves, until he’s sulking with his tail between his legs across the court, back to his team that’s all getting ready to suck each other’s dicks to try and get back some of their pride after losing for the first time in a while. Flip only sniffs and puffs his chest out with a muttered, “Yeah that’s what I thought.”

“Thank you honey.” You say, smile big on your face as you lean back enough to look him in the eye.

He cups your cheeks in his hands and kisses you long and deep, kisses you so long that the team is whistling and cheering and hooting and hollering about it, but neither of you really care. It’s a special occasion, and he did so well.

“Did you see me?” Flip asks, eager, that happy adrenaline from being the champ flooding his system once again now that John had been taken care of. He’s bright eyed and he can’t stop smiling as he squishes your cheeks in his hands, kisses you over and over, “I won the game, did you see it?”

What is your muse’s favorite place(s) to be touched?

What many people fail to realize is that Jin Sakai values his personal space. While many people consider human touch a basic necessity of life, he thinks the exact opposite. As a result, he sometimes struggle with public displays of affection and only will stick to shaking hands or resting a hand over another’s shoulder. When he does encounter physical contact, he will sometimes feel uncomfortable, which may cause him to tense up, and this leads to us getting irritated with the party who initiated the contact. Jin Sakai is a very independent person who enjoy having his own time and space to themselves. He will often become uncomfortable if people attempt to invade his personal space, and dislike physical touch from strangers. He usually strongly dislikes when someone comes into their personal space without permission, unless he has complete trust and loyalty towards the person, and will see that as a sign of disrespect. 

This sort of contact is reserved for the people closest to them, and is only permitted to those special people. He likes to be caressed, massaged, and fondled around his upper arm and shoulders. When Jin cares for someone though, he can often become comfortable enough to open up in that way. He enjoys being physical close to their loved ones, and can often use this as a better way to express their affections. Since Jin Sakai isn’t verbally emotional or open people, sometimes hugging his loved ones can be an excellent way for them to show that they care. 

How does your muse communicate to others they they’re in the mood?

Jin doesn’t shy away from being direct and appear almost too cold and unemotional. Because loyalty and honesty are the most important qualities he searches for when he is ready to commit to someone. He needs to be sure that either of them is not going to be with someone who is lying to them or hiding important pieces of information. For Jin Sakai, this is vital, because he wants to be able to work together as a team and without straightforward sincerity, he knows this won’t work in the efficient way he is hoping for and needing. Jin wants to be direct and completely honest with his partner, especially about the important details which need to be shared, and that certainly includes the romantic/sexual mood. Jin Sakai, per say, isn’t celibate, but romantic and sexual relationship isn’t his priority. Being a surviving warrior who would sacrifice everything to protect the people of Tsushima is.  

While Jin can express a desire for female company during some optional hot springs thoughts, he never so much as glances at a woman throughout the course of the game. Such characteristic is shown when Tomoe offers for him to spend the night at her house at one point, with the implication of sleeping together, and he coldly refuses her. It could just be that he doesn’t trust her, however, given that she spent all the prior missions before that as an ally of the enemy, thus her dishonesty and deception is what turns him off. Also, there are nuances with Yuna also; one moment has them drinking together at night and opening up about their pasts and before the final mission she tells him that she can’t lose him after all they’ve been through. She even suggests that they both take a boat and escape ‘somewhere quiet’ while Shimura fights the Khan instead, though Jin refuses. He still chooses to spend his possibly last night with her, however, and they share a tearful reunion in the ending.

How does your muse flirt?

If Jin is truly interested in someone, he would attempt to search for different pieces of information about him or her. He wants to know who this person is completely and will spend a lot of time and energy looking into him or her. This is only when Jin is truly interested in someone and can likely see himself building a real connection with them. Asking a lot of questions and really diving into who the person is, is often a sign of flirting and serious interest for him. Jin Sakai is often more direct than the others, so most of the time, he avoids being too subtle. He may be withdrawn with physical touches themselves (this is because due to the lack of paternal interactions, as both passed away when he was just a kid and he was relentlessly bullied), but he shows interest with his words and subtle emotions. 

Regardless, he often makes his intentions clear with someone, and will express their interest. He doesn’t like to waste time and energy investing in someone he cannot see a real future with, which is why learning about this person is his strongest form of flirting. Once he knows that he could truly see himself with this individual, Jin will be more than capable of making advances and letting him or her know Jin would like to date him or her. Jin Sakai is not often afraid of being direct and to the point when it comes to his interest in someone. Jin can sometimes play the games of being subtle if he feels like it is necessary, and when he does, this Jin often just tries to show himself as impressive and flaunt his positive traits to this person in a way that isn’t too over the top or obnoxious. Instead, Jin most prefers to just put himself in situations where he can prove his skills and intelligence.

{ Small Update to Rules! }

Merry Christmas to all! Just wanted to make an official post about an update to my rules that might be important to some.

Smut will no longer be done on this blog! NSFW themed asks and memes are still fair game on Sindays, but None Of This Shit on the main blog from here on out!

Anything that I reasonably believe may turn into hardcore smut as opposed to just very suggestive will now be moved to a special NSFW-only blog! No, I will not be sharing or linking it on here or anywhere else. I also disabled people from being able to search for the blog, so if you don’t have the URL, you’ll have to be extremely sneaky in finding it or happen across a thread I’m having with someone else who RPs smut on their main. I will not give it even if asked. The only way you’ll ever get a direct link to the blog from me is if we have a racy thread that turns into smut and I reblog it from there. That’s literally it. 

While I do find the “put all smut under read-mores and tag it” method respectable enough, when other people do it, I’d probably just never feel comfortable doing it myself.
