Yes Valtor doesn't know how to love, but I think that's the love they have for Bloom. Because he did not know how to love, we could never see clearly, he did not say "I love her". But somehow (in its own way) it showed. He stroked her hair and ordered Trix not to touch Bloom. When Bloom fell into the water on Andros, Valtor retrieved Bloom with the tower. With a few exceptions, he never harmed Bloom. He bowed before her, not doing this for anyone. And his favorite thing to do was steal magic from the magic realms, and he offered to do it to Bloom. And he offered to rule the magic universe together. I don't think Valtor likes to share power, but he always gave Bloom a chance. Even here Valtor hits Musa and Flora but not Bloom. In fact, for someone with only evil in him (he didn't choose it), he showed that he fell in love with her many times in his own way.
And I agree with you, a year ago I made a post where I gave several arguments in favor of this couple (I think I will reblog this post later). He really does not know how to love as it is customary for kind and romantic people. But he loves as much as he can. Without romance, without beautiful words. But I am very pleased with the idea that he will be very careful in the relationship, because he will not be sure that he is doing everything right. He will be rude, mocking, he will manipulate, but each time he will understand that this is not what is needed. He will be cruel to those who will try to take Bloom away from him and he will be timid alone with her, sometimes indignant and annoyed because he can't please her or something doesn't work out for him. I am just delighted that you are interested in this topic and I am pleased to talk with you ❤

I saw your faragonda hate feel and honestly I never saw that before till you mentioned it... joining the train
BUT ALSO TO MAIN POINT OMG you mentioned in your tags on that post about riven and flora cause I taught I hallucinated their potential before but you mentioned it... please pleaseeee elaborate your thoughts on them I'm genuinely curious for flora/riven shippers out here 😭😭😭😭😭
An interesting request. This post is more about Riven than Flora, I will try to satisfy your curiosity.
Riven is quite a complex character, he has a bad temper, he is impulsive and power-hungry, jealous - this is exactly what pops into my head at the mention of his name. However, at the same time he is brave, kind, reserved, he will not share his feelings with others and experiences everything inside himself. He is looking for himself and his way. And it is important to understand it. To hear. To help.
A little bit about his background was told in the 59th issue of Winx magazine (Winx Band), he grew up with his mother, who later left him. This partly explains his difficult nature.
Flora knows how to listen, she is able to touch the soul and will allow a person to open up. She will not condemn, but she will accept and understand. This is exactly what Riven has been missing all seasons. Flora is able to protect what she thinks is right, she treats others with respect and demands the same respect for herself. Kind and gentle, she can help Riven open up from the best side. At the same time, Flora is a vulnerable girl and certainly Riven's sharpness will hurt her, it is inevitable.
Flora will gain those qualities that she lacks so much - firmness and confidence, Riven will be able to learn to be restrained and polite. I think Riven will be worried about his relationship with Flora, because in his eyes she really looks like a fragile flower that should not belong to him. She is too perfect for such a "terrible" person like him. Flora, in turn, will do everything possible to show Riven what he is in her eyes.
However, for all the superficiality of my judgment, I do not see this pairing as something lasting. At least not yet. Riven is the kind of character that requires closer scrutiny. He grew up without a father, his mother left him, these two facts are enough to unfold a great analysis of the character. Riven's childhood is a direct answer to the question of his hard character.
And I don't know how much Flora can handle it. She's looking for security in a partner. Riven can be protective as well as hurtful. He may fear that Flora will leave him, as his mother did. Perhaps he wants to be the first and best to be the "good" child, so that no one will leave him. Perhaps he is afraid of being alone, afraid of being abandoned, and so he spoils and breaks up the relationship himself. Maybe he sees from Skye's example that the best are loved, and therefore he must be the first to get that love. His lack of love as a child, his abandonment, and then his loneliness made him rude and cold. He does not trust the people around him because he is subconsciously afraid that they will hurt him, as his mother did. Without receiving an example of love as a child, without seeing that kind of love around him, Riven may not know how to show it. And we've seen that all season long.
In my eyes, Flora is the one who can show Riven love. Slowly, gently, caringly, just the way he needs it. She would be able to love him with all his flaws, which is exactly what's important to him. What he thinks causes him to be rejected by everyone. And this path to a true relationship will be long, thorny, sometimes unbearable. I don't know if Flora will have the strength to do it, but if she does, it will be the most sincere love that each of them will appreciate.
These are the moments that relate to Riven's past. I lost a blog with scans of magazines in English, so if you have the time and desire, you can find these pages.
I know you were expecting something more upbeat and reassuring, not so long and philosophical, sometimes I get too deep into the characters story) Thanks for reading, thanks for asking this question.

Do you ship Bloom and Valtor? I do! And I think Valtor was in love with her.
I love this couple. The concept of family is alien to Valtor, he did not have a childhood and a banal kiss at night. He can hate, destroy, deceive and manipulate. But he does not know how to love. Bloom grew up in a loving family, found a real family that adores her. And she could share her love with him. Valtor is the only villain who was created like this without the right to choose. Unlike Trix, the magicians of the black circle, Tritanus, Selina and Acheron, who wanted power consciously, Valtor is the only one to whom they imposed their will to seize the magical dimension. So, I adore this couple for the fact that in it there is a place to rethink yourself and your actions, forgiveness, a difficult path to happiness and healing of the soul. Yes, everything is so serious 😅

@fierydragonprincess The following question was asked: "how do you think they get together?" (It's about Bloom and Valtor's relationship). I didn't really understand the question, whether it was about the beginning of their relationship or if it was about moments in their relationship. Apologies. So the answer will be divided into two parts. The first is about the beginning of their relationship and the second is about interesting moments from their life together. This idea would be enough for a season (or fan fiction). To some extent, I use the events and characters from season 8, but it was difficult and long to paint the whole plot, so the key points are:
The magic dimension is not stable, planets are starting to collapse, and magic is getting out of control.
The situation can be corrected only by finding a spark of the dragon flame, which remained in this world as an artifact.
Valtor wants to use it for himself, because his life is hanging by a thread from death. After Bloom's victory over Valtor, three ancient witches have taken him on the hook and are gradually pulling out his life. He needs a dragon spark in order to survive (Bloom also has a dragon spark, but if she loses it, she will lose her ability to transform and will not be able to conjure).
While they are looking for a spark, trusting relationships and even sympathy are established between them. Bloom is really interested in his past and sympathizes that she did not find the strength to listen to him earlier. He shows her what their bond is capable of and touches her hand. A wave of positive energy covers her, and she feels magic flowing through her body, with this power she could breathe life into all the planets, as the dragon did. Bloom asks Valtor about his feelings, and he replied that he finally understood what it was like to be free.
After a while, when Bloom realizes that she is in love with her enemy, Valtor tells her that Faragonda cannot be trusted and this serves as a conflict.
She goes to the library, from where she learns that the dragon spark is in the heart of Alphea and serves as her constant source of energy. After learning the truth, she asks Faragonda why she didn't tell her about it, Faragonda says that she is disappointed in Bloom and that Alphea is no longer her home. Bloom uses enchantix magic and imprisons Faragonda in chains.
Bloom and Valtor find a spark, but time is running out. It remains a couple of minutes before the essence of Valtor disappears forever from the magical dimension. Bloom gives the spark to her friends, and she kisses Valtor and gives him her dragon spark, thereby linking their lives. For this sacrifice, Bloom achieves the final transformation (remember Morgan's gorgeous wings and outfit? Here's something just as fantastic)
Bloom's friends win and everything comes back to normal. The Council of Magix recognizes Bloom as an enemy of the magical dimension for her connection with the dark magician (Valtor is still a criminal, don't forget). King Oritel takes responsibility for his daughter and convinces the Council not to arrest her. He deprives Bloom of the title of Domino Princess and disowns her from the royal family. Bloom's friends ask her for the last time to repent for her actions before the Council of Magix, but she replies that she does not need it, and they break off their friendship with her. In the end, Bloom will marry Valtor and I have already said that their first son will be gifted with the dragon flame.
This is the basis of the story that serves to tie the relationship between Bloom and Valtor. Of course, in the full story, it would be possible to consider each character and show emotions and reactions to what is happening, as well as answer a lot of questions about the feelings of Sky, girls, show sensual scenes between Bloom and Valtor. Give time to their experiences and give voice to minor characters.

I saw your account and I love it! And I thought to ask this question directly. What is your favorite bloom and valtor line and scene? Mine is -“join me,we’re the same Bloom don’t forget it” And my favorite scene is where he saves Bloom's life and then,he gently tocuhed her hair and he said “ Do not be afraid of me”💜 it was a great scene it was the first time he showed such mercy to someone❤️🔥 I can’t still believe,He saved her life!
I love questions like that) The scenes you named are really very emotional, I like them. In them, Valtor reveals a new side, in particular we see how he treats the person he likes (we all believe that). As for my favorite scenes, it's their first meeting in the Solaria Palace and when Valtor sees her enchantix for the first time. There's so much emotion there.

Fav season of Winx & why?
Thank u for asking. I think this is season 4, because as a child, in the fifth grade, I had a diary with Bloom in belivex, I had a notebook and even a couple of dvd disks with an animated series (they were from friends; I received my first dvd disk with Winx a little later). I've watched this season a huge number of times and I still do. For me, it is very measured, it has a good plot, beautiful outfits, the life of city girls, problems and everything that is very close to the real world. Perhaps it so happened that all my childhood I was accompanied by the fourth season, I have a lot of good moments associated with it. I remember even I was the only girl who had a couple of pictures with Winx on my phone and I passed them on to my friends via Bluetooth. So, I love this season because of the strong connection with my childhood. And no matter how much I love Valtor and Enchantix, Season 4 will always hold a special place in my heart.

Is the world of WINX as good as seasons 1 through 6?
At first: I perceive the WOW and the main series as two different works. The word "Spin-off" there is just for beauty, in fact, you will see a lot of inconsistencies and plot holes.
Definitely the main series is a priority for me, because the characters have character, taste, opinion, aspiration and everything like that. Each fairy has its own development and is important for the plot. Before.
The WOW is something peculiar, with an emphasis on the plot and dark elements, it has new characters that change the sides of the fight. There is a cliched Winx behavior that has become the norm since season 6, they struggle with villains, fears and common sense.
For me, the only joy was Jim and Ace, who brought charm to this story for 2 seasons. Honestly, I didn't watch Season 2 until the end, but I'm familiar with the ending and the enemies. I just didn't have enough, everything is quite strained and tedious, you always manage to guess the next step of the fairies, there is no zest and element of surprise.
Watch or not?
Season 1 definitely, just because it gets us to know this atmosphere. We try to build theories and evaluate the behavior of the characters, to learn this side of Winx. Season 2 of your choice.
