Artenique in Disney/fairytales! AU

Moonie @no-moon-nor-stars and I somehow went a bit too far on our roleplay and then this happened😂

The prince travelling to find the tower that his cursed twin was placed. He then saw the back of a girl walks casually in the middle of that forest. There is a wolf behide her so he shouts to warn her and rush to rescue her. It turns out the girl can kill the wolf herself, she then pushes her hair off her face and looks at the prince. Artemis was captivated by her combat skills and more over, her beauty. They talk to each other and learn that she is a princess from the kingdom of Evander, which is placed next to the forest, that comes to check on the cursed princess sometimes because of worry. Before she goes, he asks her to be accompany with him so she could help him fight the ferocious creature that guard the tower. The amber eyes princess laughs and tells him that her brother and she already took it down. She then finally leaves him and go back to her castle.

After rescued his twin, prince Artemis comes back to his kingdom, Lumine, and asks his mother about Evander. He learned that they have tradition that when their princesses turn 18 years old, the person who won their yearly tournament that year will be able to marry her. The prince tries so hard to convince his father for attending since the king of Evander and the king of Lumine are in a bad term. The king of Lumine let him attend because he saw the advantage of powerful troops Evander has.

When the tournament started, it turns out that the princess herself attended and challenges all the candidates to win her if they want her. Artemis then accepted it and they sass at each other all along the tasks. Finally, it comes to the last task, sword fighting. Evander is famous about powerful bombat skills, the princess is also trained. She fights him with her tactics, without her knowing, the prince saw her trained the new warriors so he knew her moves and out win her. The princess who was so confident that no one would win her now have to accept the truth.

Prince Artemis then declares his love to her and while Danique is stunned, her brother steps in and try to make him change his mind. The prince then shows his sincere and her brother now gave in, sets them together and walks away. The two then learn each other by having conversations. It turns out Artemis is truly a good guy that loves her for who she is, so Danique started to like him.

There are night party to end the ceremony. Her father, The king of Evander, threatens him to see if the lucky prince is really in love his daughter. Artemis answers all of the threatened with his clear and sincere intention. The king then gave in and tell the soon-to-be married couple to go for the dance. Artemis and Danique then happily dance and chat together till the end of the ceremony.

This is just how their story started in this AU. We will use the theme for our future roleplay🤣
