It took some walking around but eventually Archer caught wind of Pearce. They lifted their hand to call out to the man as they closed the distance before realizing he was soaked and shivering. Well shit. "Hey......" Archer announced their presence. "What happened? Why are you soaking?" Archer quietly worried.

Letting out a shaken gasp, Pearce couldn't help but step away. Why did he come and find him? He told him to go, so he left. Yet here the other was, trying to approach them. Despite the cold, the only part that wasn't numb to the Shepherd was his hot tears.

"I-I'm sorry... I-I'm so so s-s-sorry..."

Clutching as his soaked clothes, Pearce could be seen violently shaking, a broken man ensuing on a mental breakdown. He was doing what he thought Archer wanted, he didn't want to see him like this. Turning his body away, Pearce hid his face behind his soaked hair, the tingle in his ears visible.

"I-i-in the w-way... i-in y-your way... I-I'll leave q-quickly...! Sh-Shouldn't...h-h-have to s-see a m-m-monster...l-like m-m-me..."

Sobbing quietly to himself, Pearce couldn't contain such emotions anymore. Moving a hand to cover his face, the Shepherd felt... guilty. Only seeing people that he hurt made the other realize he was no better than those who did such a tasteless action against him.

Muttering to himself, He couldn't help but seem... mentally unhinged. Perhaps he was fighting with Alu quietly again. The Shepherd did enough damage than he intended, so why?

Why did he come back to him? It was too hard to understand...

"Th-Thank you..." Lowering his hand, Pearce still kept his eyes closed, wrapping his coat around himself. Letting out a comfortable sigh, he nestled into the familiar collar before opening his eyes, thought what he did not expect to see was Archer still being indecent. Luckily for him, his coat could hide the majority of his blush.

"I-I was covering b-because i-it's rude to s-stare... e-especially when half dressed." Huffing, Pearce rolled up his coat sleeves, hunching down, and slipping off his gloves before stashing them in his pant's pocket. "S-Stay still, j-just a moment..." With furry hands, Pearce seemed to struggle at the beginning. Fidgeting hands wouldn't let him button it up, but eventually he got a few buttons in.

Stopping when he noticed what seemed to be the large bandage wrapped around Archer's chest. A bit cautious, Pearce move a paw to touch it, inspecting it in a worried way.

"U-Um... Your s-scars... Is there n-nasty ones behind this too...? I-It must be tight w-with the bandages... I don't see a-any blood though..."

"A-Archer..."

Coming up was the Shepherd once again, though, now he adorned his own clothing, appearing a bit cleaner than before. A gloved hand was holding out the Archer's shirt, as promised, cleaned and taken care of. Yet, Pearce's other hand was covering his eyes, perhaps out of courtesy?

"I-I wanted to thank you for the shirt... I-It was... comfortable... I'm sorry you h-had to wait so long... I cleaned it c-carefully with my hands, thought it as... d-difficult..."

Still hiding his face, he couldn't bare to show it, lest his eyes betrayed his words. Eyes were windows of the soul, as he heard long ago. And with how he was right now, he couldn't afford the other to notice, no matter the rising suspicion.

Ah, their shirt was back. The archer hummed in thanks as they reached out for their shirt. They couldn't smell the wet smell from before so it made the other glad that he had gotten cleaned up well. It would be a lie to say that they hadn't gotten a little cold without it.

They were quick to take off their vest and slipping on the shirt with ease. Giving a glance up at Pearce, they tilted their head for a moment in curiosity about why he was covering his eyes. Still leaving the shirt and vest unbuttoned, Archer moved to grab the folded up coat before putting it in Pearce's hand.

"It's alright, I didn't mind," Archer mumbled softly. "Here's your coat back.....why are you covering your eyes?"

"Hello sweethearts!" A girl with red hair smiles.

"Welcome to our blog." A slightly taller girl with white hair waves.

"Ask us anything, but first let us introduce ourselves." A blonde boy joins in the conversation.

The red haired girl giggles, before waving happily. "My name's Serenity, Serenity Kinsley, also known as the baker!"

Next to speak is the white haired girl, "I'm Leia Abbot, The Archer!" She exclaims, grinning smugly and pointing a thumb at herself.

Last up is the boy, who winks, even if you can’t tell due to his eyepatch, before speaking "And my name is Adam Fox, the Highwayman!"

"Feel free to ask us anything you please!" They all say in unison.

OOC: So, yeah. This blog is dedicated to three of my 11 IDV OC's. And yes, I used picrew, I don’t have any drawings of them yet. Also, just in case you don’t know what a highway man is, here’s the definition:  a man, typically on horseback, who held up travellers at gunpoint in order to rob them.

Archer comes with a bracelet and looking a bit flustered as they offer it to Pearce. It looks like a friendship bracelet but something is sticking out of the little wood carving!

The Shepherd couldn't help but stare at the small bracelet being held out to him. Inside, it felt like a part of him shattered. Hesitantly taking the bracelet, Pearce feigned his pain with a forced smile, his voice becoming sweet like honey.

"You really shouldn't have. I promise to take care of it to the best of my abilities."

He felt so heartbroken. Yet he should have expected this. He came on too strong, more likely scared her away. This bracelet was the final nail in the coffin, as they say.

It didn't take long for him to come out once more.

'Pearce, Pearce, Pearce... It's funny how you keep trying to save what humanity you have left of yourself. What will it take for you to understand?'

'You don't DESERVE a happy ending. You haven't EARNED your place. Did you honestly think, even the lowest could accept you? If you wont embrace my ideals.'

'I WON'T EMBRACE YOUR WISHES.'

Suddenly, the Shepherd tossed the bracelet back at the Archer, Pearce no longer feigning faux happiness, but rather becoming emotionless. Voided of life itself.

"Ì Ððñ'† wåñ† ¥ðµr åþþrê¢ïå†ïðñ. ̆ hðlЧ ñð vålµê †ð mê." (I don't ant your appreciation. It holds no value to me.)

"Kêêþ ¥ðµr gårßågê †ð ¥ðµr§êl£, åñÐ lê† mê rð†." (Keep your garbage to yourself, and let me rot.) "Ì Ðê§þï§ê ¥ðµ lïkê ñð ð†hêr." (I despise you like no other.)

It as obviously the demon taking his place, It wanted Archer to abandon him, once and for all. To make sure his vessel didn't slip from his grasp.

It would go so far as to violence, taking out the sickle and pointing it at the Archer. If they really wanted Pearce's affection, they needed to prove it, here and now.

Seeing such a ferocious gaze, the Debtor quickly hurried off. To be noticed so soon, it was embarrassing to say the least. It was akin of a wild dog gnashing it's teeth at him. Quickly to retreat, the escort took a moment to breathe. Such intrusive thoughts dispelling quickly.

"Is...Is he gone?" Looking over the man's shoulder, the escort seemed rather surprised at the sudden halt. Did this lowly man who smelt of dirt and grime cease Damien's advances? The escort pursed her lips for a moment. "Ah! He truly is gone! Thank God." Releasing the man's arm, she couldn't help but feel a bit embarrassed, clinging to a commoner like that. Dusting herself off, the woman huffed quietly, an arrogant air now surrounding her. "Thank you for your help, though I would have liked it if you pummeled that lecherous hui." Observing the man, she continued.

"That stitching... I'm going to take it you don't talk much... Care to tell me who you are?"

Amanda MacGurk, infamous for being a seductive, yet ruthless escort, came rushing down the manor halls. Looking around in slight panic, she found the first man she could find her hands on. Hurrying over to the bowmen, she quickly held onto the man's arm. She knew it was wrong, but the fear of being alone with that thing made her tremble.

Seeking some sort of protection momentarily, she whispered to the taller man, praying he wouldn't leave her alone so quickly. "Help me, please. He won't stop following me... I can't even rest in my room as he waits there."

The man in question appeared to scare her, but even his watchful gaze came from around the corner. This man was known as Damien Hardwick, known as the Debtor. His gaze was only fixated on his beautiful lady, hardly glancing at the other survivor. Tilting his head, the man let out a dissatisfied hum.

In a hushed tone, the debtor mumbled to himself. "Off she goes again... Alas, I can't stop her."

Startled by the sudden feeling of being grabbed, Archer turned a little to see exactlt who was the cause. If not for the shaking, Archer no doubt might have shaken her unwanted grasp for a moment. The words had the other a little concerned as narrowed eyes moved to where the feeling of stares was coming from.

Unable to fully see the figure, Archer at the least moved a little more to hide the woman with their frame. Archer continued their glare - truly just trying to focus on the figures but it was very much a glare to anyone giving a surface level glance. Archer made a gesture to the distance figure that they should leave.

Crashteroids (Future AU) Event!

"A-Are you sure you two... w-won't fight during this..?" "Maybe... only if the bug doesn't get too annoying." "Gonna pretend I didn't hear that, Let those questions ROLL IN!" ~~~ Crashteroids is a futuristic death race AU, akin to elements of COA 4 and Sonic Riders. As of now, 3 racers are able to be asked questions. This event will last until July 8th. If you are wishing to send asks to the Future AU cast, please PLEASE include the tag #crashteroids. I won't be able to tell if asks are for Pearce Whittaker or Tailwind. Please still use the tag for Blue Jay and Snake Eyes HERE ON THIS BLOG FOR QUESTIONS.

Blue Jay played by Archer: A big shot rookie who snuck into Novalis' 55th Grand Prix. Everyone's in it for the money and a chance of being a somebody, but what his true intentions are is kept confidential to the public. His compassion for his mechanic's cause deepens their bonds as partners, still, doesn't deter him from fighting with Snake Eyes. Snake Eyes played by Lawrence Cotas: A BEZ keeper at the GexTex Plantation facility, who joined the Prix mainly for money and status. However, he seemed to have a change of heart for the mechanics forced into these games. He appears to have a thing for Blue Jay's mechanic, even though his own hybrid mechanic criticizes him for his extensive tastes in romance partners. Tailwind played by Pearce Whittaker: A fox hybrid who became a certified mechanic for this season's Grand Prix. Although like most the hybrids living in the Slums, 21 years ago foxes were ostracized from the hybrid's class, making him a true loner. The mediator between Racer #4 and #7 when it comes to quarrels. ~~~ RULES ~~~ 1. Please use the #crashteroids tag for asks, regardless of whom you ask. If you don't, I'm going to simply ignore it or assume it's for Pearce if it's Shepherd related!

2. Please bare with time delays in responses. All 3 muns/mods have their own stuff going on in their lives. Sometimes we take a day or so to text back to one another.
