idk If I asked u this question b4 but uhmmmmmmmmm how do u come up with designs 😞😞😞

i wish i had a good answer but idk. i need to visualize the base design head first and then from there i sometimes suck in my love of fashion and other character archetypes, or draw inspo from other similar characters in media. i ask myself what body type so i see them having? or fashion? if its an object, can i incorporate any shapes they have into the design? just stuff like that 🙏 i know its not helpful but its my process 

if you want a recent example: take my candle design! i was stuck cus i knew what i wanted her to look like but i didn’t know how to go about it. obviously she needed an outfit that was based off the earthy aesthetic, and i wanted her to have a lot of piercings and jewelry. i decided to also give her tattoos. for inspiration, i actually took some from treehugger from MLP and venus mcflytrap from monster high generation 3.

i’m the worst at explaining things but i hope at least i could give a bit of insight 😭

This happens when a cat joins the Clan and keeps their name and are a kit/apprentice at the time. Special suffixes show up regardless of that (kit/paw), so it's a little funky.

Moon deserves to have a couple of real toys, like a rubik's cube, a plush or two (or action figures, or both), and maybe a puzzle and some books, as well as a pack of varying sized googly eyes ^-^

Absolutely, this is something I want to (and plan to) expand on in the future but for now have a doodle off this full page from today. I think Øystein would be very hesitant to let Pelle cut him at first for awhile, dubcon-territory style. After a while though I think he'd be more open to it with some coercion.

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

His height- man's built to put door head to shame (I think that's what it's called, like the top part of the door??) If he would come to Malaysia he would be cursing and grumbling all the way because he has to bend his head down every time he goes through a door WHEEZE

7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

ohhhhhhhhhhhh I'm a big sucker for cat dad!Ghost....or just Ghost being gentle to animals (that one short drabble where Ghost takes a card to scoop up a spider and placing it on the window, gently shooing the lil long leg bug out) OH YEAH AND ALSO when Ghost talks to animal in his usual tone like he's talking to another person, love it A+++ I eat that shi up

or just Ghost being...being a guy really. None of that daddy big dom scary ooo touch me and I'll fucking dice ya vibe (I mean I like that occasionally) but just him being depicted as normal. Just kind of make him more human and I like that.

14. Assign a fashion aesthetic to this character.

Gonna be honest with you Father I just think he's just the regular "Im tired of this shit" bloke LOL (that one robert pattinson pic) Idk if there's a name for it bcuz I just go "homeless fit" in my head AKSDJFHZKSFJH my vision of his closet:

same sets of hoodies and pants (they're all the same but somehow he knows which ones' are for Monday, Wednesday and Sunday)

thick jackets

that one specific shredded t shirt with a heavy metal band on the front, only worn once

1 hat he stole from Price (it has a fish on it)

Hi shout-out to you for not making Bot a part of the fantube family.

99% of people make Bot their child and I personally think there's many reasons not to do that!!! It wouldn't be wholesome and seamless!!! and its refreshing to see someone do fantube family WITHOUT forcing bots weirdness into that dynamic. heck yea

ofc!!! i actually just finished s3 and i was NOT a fan of their dynamic 😭 like on the surface i can see it yk. going in i was under the impression that fan and test tube made bowbot just to replace bow because they’re kind of weird and they wanted to see if they could do it, and then the “child” connection came after.

but no i guess they went into it knowing they wanted to make a child to fill the gap in their life left by the baby shimmer? even tho i don’t think either of them cared about bow like at all 😭 plus their behavior in the earlier episodes does not really correlate with that idea, it isn’t until later that test tube gets all “mom” with bot.

idk i just did not like it at all. i feel like bot should have gotten to throw one rock at fan and test tube. and i love fan and test tube!! its also frustrating that the dynamic isn’t really left up to interpretation, its kind of really in your face that they WANT you to think of them as a big happy family 😭

but whatever i still love fantube, just don’t love the bot fantube family thing 🤞 no hate if you do tho!!! i can definitely see the appeal if i step back and squint

All traits have a number hidden within your files called facets. Facets are randomized within a limit in a given trait. So, while traits do have a slight effect, cats aren't always going to be aggressive should they, for example, have the bloodthirsty trait. It's dependent on the facets!

I guess I'm technically canon to my own comic world ^-^; after all, you could see me ripping through the fourth wall in Favorite Color.

This is the last of the comics I managed to pre-finish before Christmas. From here on out I'll be answering Asks with gifts in them (whether drawn or stated :D ) by the designated characters.

Er... I just might not get to them all today x.x so we'll just pretend time is in stasis in the doodle-verse and Christmas isn't over until all the gifts are opened :3
