21-22 Oct 2022 What an awesome surprise! While doing my Asia Placement in Seoul, PSM UAJY also joined the Busan Choral Festival and Competition! 13.10.2022 Day 2 First goal was finding warm clothes at COEX Mall - turned out Seoul's autumn is colder than I thought, I needed more layers - I ended buying none (no sale) but taking photos with one of the popular landmark n iconic Starfield Library inside the mall! And of course, a good dinner and an awesome company! 14.10.2022 - day 2 Studying Korean history and culture was more meaningful with wearing hanbok, visiting places, acting out, checking out a traditional house nearby (15-min walk from the palace) - watching Korean period dramas helped me a lot to understand the ambience and messages from the architectures Plus, eating Korean barbeque was the surprised closing but no photographs as I was too immersed in the menu! On my third day in Seoul, Myoung took me to Gyeongbokgung Palace and she made me wear hanbok (₩10,000) for a couple of hours - that made us get free entrance to the palace (₩3,000) then visited a traditional house nearby Not only that, a whole day spent was actually a test on Korean Culture and History by Myoung - thankfully I watched Korean priod drama a lot 🇰🇷 We discussed about the great statues of Admiral Yi Sun-sin and King Sejong; differences between hanbok outfits; functions of the rooms inside the palace, and many more!
