I liked what SB said in her stories about the comments she's been receiving. I hope the message is heard. (I'm sure people will double down and wish her ill.) She just wants to live her life as a real person, flaws and all. She's right that what people say about (S and A) says more about them, than her and her partner.

She does that kind of thing a lot actually. I agree with the quote, but it's very naive to expect just positive thoughts cause of everything that happened.

I get that she just want to live her life and yada yada yada, but let's put this in a most simple way with what everyone knows so far: she is a public person taking her 1st girlfriend, who also is a public person, to a political and public event that was highly criticized cause of a genocide going supported by the people who are throwing the party and full of known zionists, all of this after yelling to the whole world that her ex was a jerk and that her GF is amazing, and her girlfriend happens to be someone that when they started to date, she was still married didn't even had the guts to tell her ex she was filling the divorce, all of that, when she spent 20 years dragging her first husband in the dirt for being a cheater. With that being said, it's very naive from her and from her fandom to expect everyone and their mothers were going to be all happy and dandy for them after this whole mess, cause they gave to the haters their wet dream in a silver plate, so it's obvious that it was going to be hate. Ashlyn always were very disliked in sports world, now every single fan, player and member of the sports press can speak openly about how "the leech just changed its host" (this is a comment made by a journalist friend of mine from ESPN), all left wing that dislikes Sophia are claiming she is an hypocritical, all the conservatives that hates her are saying she is a has-been using the gay agenda to promote herself. And Sophia just prove that their struck a nerve on her with that quote. It's what Tyrion Lannister says in Game of Thrones: "Never forget what you are, the rest of the world will not." The world will always remember how this started and will bring back whenever they feel like it cause they know it will piss her off.

I have no hope for that hate to decrease, cause according to socialblade, the negative comments increased for Sophia after Saturday, mostly cause of her presence on WHCA (which is funny cause of course she was going to it, she attends every year and she is until her neck on Biden's campaing. And honestly, this worries more than her relationship with Ashlyn, cause they are calling her "genocide Lesbian Barbie" among other heavy stuff. Neither in 2016 was this heavy) and most of Ashlyn new followers are Mohammeds (bots brought to stalk someone) and haters just waiting for her to open their comments to trash them.

For reals? I dont give a flying a fart to their relationship on that matters. If she thinks Ashlyn is awesome, Good for her. Not everyone is 100% evil or 100% good. Maybe she doesn't like to talk or that she share more stuff in common with Sophia than what they show. But you also have to keep in mind that we don't know what she told Sophia, she might have lied and Sophia doesn't know about it, and she did that before. It's also why I keep repeating it that I have a strong bias toward Ashlyn for the stuff she tried to pull with people I am friends with in real life, so you guys dont take in consideration when I get pissed with her cause it's something I take to a personal. So yeah, to me, Sophia deserves better than a cocky person that knows how to lie very well when her ass is on the line. But you guys are open to have your own opinion too.

But again, Let's wait and see. As I said before, I am mostly watching this as movie or a reality show and I am really curious to see if this are going to be reverted somehow or if it's going to increase.

Author’s Note: So this one is a shoter one, but @literaryhedgehog​ and I think it came out cute!

You were caught red handed, staring up at Ashlyn, clutching your guitar with absolutely no way to explain this away. You knew that she knew exactly what she had walked into. 

“No need to stop on my account,” Ashlyn said, setting down her bag and sitting at a chair diagonally from you.  “I didn’t know you were a Game of Thrones Fan.”

“I um..- I’m not really. They just wanted to use the song and paid really well for it,” you mumbled, shrugging. 

“Wait, you wrote Jenny of Oldstones?” Ali’s phone fell out of her hand, and she quickly bent down and grabbed it, before straightening up and acting casual. You resisted the urge to roll your eyes at her- as though appearing in the hall at the most dramatic time possible and dropping her phone causing all eyes to go on her could be casual. 

“I write lots of things. It’s a nice way to make up the discrepancies between our income and the men’s team” You shrugged again, your fingers tapping a nervous rhythm into the body of your guitar. 

You didn’t like to share this part of yourself with people- especially your girlfriends. You just wrote for other people. It was nice, easy and didn’t garner you any unwanted limelight. 

“Fair, but what do you mean you’ve written other stuff?” Ashlyn asked, sliding her chair so she was sitting very close to you. 

“Uhh, most singers just sing, they don’t actually write their music. I write but don’t sing. It’s a nice symbiotic relationship,” 

“High in the hills, where something happened, Jenny danced with her ghosts,” Ashlyn started singing. You tried really hard not to wince. It wasn’t that you disliked her singing voice, but the lyrics. She was so close, but those weren’t the words. 

“The ones she had found and the ones she had lost, and the ones who loved her the most,” Ali continued, looking expectantly at you. 

You sighed heavily, but still began to pick out the tune. 

“And she never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave.” You changed chords quickly, matching the chorus they had jumped into a few lines early. “Never wanted to leeaaave, never wanted to leave.” 

“Damn. She’s pretty and she can write music. What did we ever do to deserve her?” Ali said, walking behind the couch where you were sitting and leaning over to hug your neck from behind. Your blush deepens, traveling all the way up your neck to the tips of your ears. 

“It’s not that big of a deal guys,” you huffed, leaning back into Ali’s embrace. “And you two aren’t half bad, except for you know, completely forgetting all the words,” 

“We didn’t forget all of them! The chorus was definitely right.”

“Hm, I mean it was a few verses too early. But it’s fine cause I love you two anyway,” You smirked, missing that the three words you had been so terrified to say had slipped out. 

There was silence for a second as both women stared at you. You watched a slow smile creep across Ashlyn’s mouth as she looked at you, then she stood and maneuvered it so your guitar was no longer sitting directly in your lap, but on her legs as she sat on you. 

“We love you too,” She said softly, leaning in and placing a very sweet kiss on your lips. “Now” she leaned back just enough to look you in the eyes, but you could still feel her breath on your lips “what else have you written for us?”

Relationship status: engaged (dare I say more?) It’s going to be a long engagement because we’re 2 broke kids (that sounds about right).

Favorite Color: I’ve sort of given up on favorite colors. I think I have a favorite but then I’m like: but this one is super awesome too! I like the rainbow... But black and white are cool too, so are shades, tones, etc... I’m a fucking artist get over it!

Last Song: I’m pretty sure it was something by the White Stripes <.< Or a Kaiser Chief song ahahhahaah I play Pandora radio and it’s a Kaiser Chief Radio station from 7 years ago and it’s a compilation of music from the late 60′s to now full of punk rock.

Last Movie: I tried watching the Conjuring and fell asleep. I’ve been watching scary movies to get into the spoopy scary skeleton mood but apparently it wasn’t scary enough?

Top 3 shows: I’m just going to say the last 3 I watched because I love lots of shows and I don’t rate stuff very well because I’m not very biased: Sherlock (BBC), Death Note (Anime), Jessica Jones. 

Top 3 Ships: Hnnnnnghhhh.... I hate these ones... I don’t get worked up enough about it! So I’m going to throw some oddballs no one may know: Trent and Rachel from the Hollows. Gimli and Legolas from LOTR (come on, they are the best!!!) And Tormund and Brienne of Tarth from Game of Thrones (oh my God, the giggles I have about those two).

july recapdraft lol

sooooooo that’s it! everything’s going swimmingly. Dunno what else to say other than life is fucking great. but here’s the tl;dr of the past month that I’d been writing so that I wouldn’t forget anything cool. Everything here should’ve been fleshed out already but I don’t wanna just delete it because I like that I actually kept track of everything for once lol. 

6/25 - sun 6/26 - mon - shrooms trip 6/27 - tues melee, karaoke 6/28 - weds 6/29 - thurs work got cancelled,  6/30 - fri picked jimmy up and kaeon up from the airport and went on an adventure to find food that unfortunately wasn’t hops. Grinded out a lot of games w/ Kpan, Cohenski, lsd, yay, fizz, lozr, een, wumpus, ric and lance 7/1 - sat bmr, long day, did well but also didn’t. 7/2 - sun, spent the day in gboro, went to lunch with yay and lucas and dylan and smith and bryan and hunter, took kaeon back to geeks, hung out with an acidy kpan colbol and typo, took everyone to the airport, hung out with kpan at my place until hunter had to leave, smoked and went to boxcar and got railed at street fighter. 7/3 - mon, went to raleigh to pack, decided to do tourney, frustrated w performance. 7/4 - tues, 4 of july, trying to pack and spring clean, indecision, decide to drink at tourney, not play well, rush out to see ashlyn, meet that other girl noel, meet Austin and Paige become labeled as gay, long talks about biology and whatnot. Smoking in the car and hooking up.  7/5 - weds, date w Ashlyn. Drinking taco bell smoking church sex 7/6 - today, thurs, work, got off early, hung out with aaron and played some injustice and shit, watched almost a full season of that show.

7/7 - fri work 7/8 - sat work 7/9 - sun went out to raleigh, smoked and chilled with the raleigh peeps. Spent my last night in the raleigh apartment. 7/10 - mon finally packed up all my stuff, loaded it up and drove it out to darlin’s. Tried to beat edf 7/11 - tues waited way too long and had to blitz to the tournament. came up barely too short. melee n chill, smoking w ash and leslie 7/12 - weds night with Ashlyn, walking around uncg, pool and karaoke at corner, smoking and adventure time, 7/13 -  thurs morning w ashlyn, smoke bj went back to sleep lol work 7/14 - nothin, work 7/15 - nothin, work 7/16 - sunday, chillin in mcdonalds after work in cary, writing, getting ready for plank | ended up skipping plank and hanging out at Smashpartment, played dubz til late 7/17 - monday, went to ecg, went to first board game night, played til late 7/18 - tuesday, hung out with weilin all day, went hunting for the game of thrones card game played it a long time and did meh at the tournament. Had fun playing with tyler and twisty but was super bummed i didn’t come out on top and that I threw away that money.  7/19 - weds - went out to Ashlyn’s friend’s place to hang out at the pool, bought her a burger, had that mess of a date in the park trying to find a place to smoke and bang, got head in my driver’s seat, came in her nose. 7/20 - thurs - work 7/21 - fri - work 7/22 - sat - work, started talking with new girl 7/23 - sun - after waking up and hanging out in the afternoon I got to meet Angie, bought some nice beer and watched adventure time, went out to boxcar, went back to her friend’s place and smoked and chilled talking about music and stuff. Bounced back to her place and had really great sex, got caught mid coitus on because her dog opened the door lmao 7/24 - mon - hung out til board game night, stayed out late playing 7/25 - tues - tournament 3rd in dubz and lost to double luigi, went to sing karaoke did the backstreet boys and hung out smoking a bit 7/26 - weds - had plans with Ashlyn but decided to blow her off to play magic. Went grocery shopping, played a draft and got my ass kicked from poor shuffling, poor mulliganing, and reflexive sideboarding, tried to uncancel with ashlyn but glad it didn’t work out because I ended up going to karaoke with ash and aaron, we got drunk and i played accessory to stealing a bunch of food from sheetz, so we pigged out and watched an episode of gravity falls 7/27 - thurs (today) had this dream woke up at aaron’s started bingeing gravity falls, at work

You were the baby of the team, and being the baby came with very special privileges. The team knew of your sleeping issues, and the various methods you and your therapist had implemented (including scheduling yourself to avoid all blue light sources for hours before bed and sleeping with a stuffed animal (the famed stuffed Triceratops, Roary) each night,) to help fall asleep and stay asleep at night. But it had only been a week since you had actually looked for help, so it was too early to expect results, as you told them (and yourself) repeatedly. 

More often than not you found yourself sitting on a couch, Roary cuddled close to your chest, watching the rerun of whatever game had been on, desperately waiting for your brain to turn off so you could sleep. That was the exact scene Ashlyn had stumbled upon. She glanced at the clock, wincing at the bold 2:15 that blinked back at her as she rubbed her eyes. 

“What are you doing awake kid? Thought you weren’t supposed to do blue light after 9?” She asked softly, plopping down beside you, throwing an arm over your shoulder. You shrugged, leaning further into her side. You closed your eyes, burying your head into her warm arm.

“I literally laid awake for three hours. I tried not to focus on anything, or to focus on breathing, but I kept replaying the game in my head. So I thought I would watch it, see if rewatching the ending would help my thoughts, Idk, end too?” You moved so that your head was on her lap and you looked up at her. “Did anything I just said make sense out of my head?”

She nodded sadly down at you, her hands, stroking your hair slowly. You closed your eyes again, enjoying the feeling. You always wanted to be a cat when you were little. Your thoughts became slightly fuzzier, interrupted slightly when Ashlyn spoke. 

“Don’t fall asleep here kid. Ali will kill us both if we sleep on the couch,” The blond keeper 

“Just a few more minutes please?” You asked softly, cracking your eyes open. 

“Alright. Just a few,” she nodded. 

Coincidentally that’s exactly where Ali would find you the next morning. Cuddled into Ashlyn's stomach, snoring softly. From that moment, it became a team rule. It didn’t matter where you slept, as long as you were sleeping.

You were never going to live this down. Emily took a stealthy photo of you slumped against Alex’s arm, the climax of Black Panther’s fight taking place in the background. Kelley guarded your other side like a pitbull, just daring anyone to try and mess with you. 

“How did you get her to fall asleep Alex? She was so hyped up when we got here!” Emily said way too loudly, shrinking slightly when the veterans shushed her. 

“I literally just wrapped my arms around her while Kelley braided with her hair,” Alex whispered, glancing down to see that you weren’t moving before she continued, “she kept moving too much for Kelley to get the braid straight, so I just held her still like I do with my niece for family pictures. Once she stopped struggling, it was instant.” 

“Works like a charm every time. Who knew the world’s most feared striker could be turned into a puppy with some cuddles and pets?”  Megan laughed softly. 

“Yeah, yeah, it’s hilarious. Now shush and watch the movie,” Kelley said, flicking Megan playfully. More softly she added, “you’ll wake her.”

That shut the group up quickly. No one wanted to get in trouble for interrupting the little amount of sleep you got.

You were sitting next to Alyssa on the bench during practice, bouncing your leg you waited for your turn to run. It had been a stressful week. Everyone was preparing for the first real game of the season and even the usual pre-practice locker room chat had been tenser than usual. 

Stress usually meant one thing for you. No sleep. It was like your brain had a death wish and just wanted to make itself more miserable. The dark circles didn’t go unnoticed by your teammates, hence why you had been regulated to the bench with the keeper when you weren’t running drills. 

Alyssa started humming absentmindedly. You looked over at her. She was biting the edge of her lip, watching Becky run drills. She stopped and looked over, seemingly realizing that she was making noise. 

“Sorry,” she said sheepishly.

Maybe the pitch wasn’t the best place to fall asleep, but with the soft looks the team was sending you, they all knew it wouldn’t be the last time. Your health was important and they would help however they could.

It was like a rule on the bus. One didn’t fall asleep unless they wanted to get mustaches drawn on their face, or their cleats stolen. You and Sam had seats across the aisle from each other but would sit next to each other on trips like these, playing hangman or Super Mario bros on switch. Today was one of those days where you slid across the aisle, pen in hand, looking for entertainment to keep the boredom away.

“You know what ducky, I think,”  Sam paused, covering her mouth as a giant yawn split her face, “You’re a wacknut.” She finished, exhaling and wiping a tear from one of her eyes. 

“Stop that, I didn’t sleep last night,” you said, yawning unintentionally yourself.

“Told you not to watch that last episode of Game of Thrones,” Sam said, stretching her arms slightly in front of her. 

“You were right, it was a terrible ending, and a disgrace to television, but I had to know” You mumbled, your voice growing soft, and trailing off towards the end.  

“I know, we were all let down by that one,” Sam said, leaning her head on top of yours, comfortingly. “I should take my own advice more often, 6 hours of sleep is just not enough.”

“Hmm, I know why they call you the tower of power, you’re soooo warm,” You nuzzled into her shoulder, her heartbeat soothing you. 

“Did anyone ever tell you the story of how I got that name?” Sam asked, stifling another yawn.

“No,” you echoed her yawn.

“So I know that we’re never supposed to wake Y/N up unless there’s an emergency, but we have practice and there aren’t any rules pertaining to Sammy,” Emily said too loudly, staring at where you were cuddled into Sam’s chest. The bus had stopped a few minutes ago and had slowly unloaded. 

“Yeah, they’re kind of impossible to separate without waking both of them up,” Lindsey nodded, showing Alex a picture she had gotten from above you. “We just arrived to practice. You’re not late yet,” Lindsey said, punching Sam lightly in the shoulder and turning to grab her bag. “You’re lucky Sam that you had a sleeping meep meep to protect you, otherwise you totally would have been pranked for napping on the bus. 

“There’s no way in hell that meep meep fell asleep before our favorite tower of power.” Emily bantered back, shoving Lindsey off of the bus. 

“We better go,” You said softly, playing with the hand that was still intertwined with Sams. 

“Yeah, probably. Remind me to sleep with you again sometime. That was the best nap I had in ages,” Sam said absentmindedly stretching her neck to each side. Your eyes went wide. Then she froze, realizing what she had said. “Wait. That came out wrong.”

“It’s fine Sammie, I know what you meant, and I’d love that,” you bumped her shoulder with yours, then grabbed your bag. “Race you to the pitch!” 

Sam shook her head as if to clear it as you launched yourself off the bus. Then she grabbed her bag and followed you, sprinting to try and catch up. 

 Yep, the team would do everything they could to make sure their little meep meep got the best sleep she could.

7/29/17, july pt3

so now we’re up to that sunday I was at mcdonald’s pretending like I’d catch up. I sat there for a while after work, locked out of my old apartment (understandably) and without a place to stay and get some rest. I wanted to go to this tournament I’d never been to before to practice my new peach secondary after chatting with this ICs player on discord, but after chatting with the raleigh crew I found out spencer would let me hang out at his place. So I decided to smoke with him and was surprisingly uninterested in driving an hour further away from home to go to this tournament and spend some money to probably lose lmao. So after chilling with spence for a while I went over to the new illuminate smashpartment and spent the whole day playing with hifi dash hassel and regi. It was a pretty excellent day, played a bunch of dubz, lost some money matches to regi, crashed on their couch and went to the tournament at ecg the next day. Entered dubz with flare but skipped singles for the first time because I wanted to make it to board game night with Brian and Sean. The next day I got to hang out with weilin all day. We went searching for that GoT game to play, hit up a few card shops, got some lunch, played for a long time, and went to the tournament.
