A lover of all things cats! So much so that her evil persona is cat themed and her assistants are cats! Ashley collects and obtains cat themed objects, as well as anything else she or her felines fancy, through various means.

While a thief and "evil", she is not looking to take over the world. She is only looking out for herself and her feline companions.

Is in the same social and economic circle as Jack's family, does a lot better at blending in with the rich than he does. Even if the parties can be rather dull at times.

*Nearly superhuman but not quite there.

**Charming and knows it, will use her looks and charm to play dirty and/or gets what she what she wants.

Headcanons:

Her kittens were modified as a way to save them.

In relation to this, she doesn’t like those who hurt animals and if she catches you she will hurt you and the cops will know.

She can hack as part of sneaking in places, gather information and the like. Same the cops will know.

She takes gymnastics and is extremely good at it, a way to hone her skills.

She has other weapons and tools, just not shown or used nearly enough. For example, a grappling hook and lockpicks.

Her kittens get to choose targets for thievery too.

Donates to shelters (parents money) as her main donations. Lots of donations. Sometimes her own, if she gets bored of an item and sells it off for spare money. Black market and all. She can always resteal it again later if she changes her mind after all!~

The Cats

Ashley's cats are special, genetically modified, super kittens! That's what she calls them anyway. They are strong enough to rip apart robots and shred through trees!

Each kitten has its own name, its own food bowl, water dish, you get the idea! Each cute little possible creature of chaos is well taken care of and well loved by Ashley and whoever is on staff!

They totally torment the staff, while being cute and cuddly though, no one believes the staff if a staff member sees red eyes.

The kittens only shift their red eyes out when very angry, its time for battle, or they want to be a little shit. Or you stepped on a tail. Run if you stepped on a tail.

The powers of the kittens include an over all increase in their abilities as cats. They have the abilities of adult cats and then some. They are also have sharper claws and teeth than domestic cats. They can swarm and work in a team with or without Ashley, extremely well trained and extremely smart!

Despite being called "kittens" they are most likely adults, but its hard to tell based off looks alone.

They don't wear collars but are rather dual microchipped. First for Ashley as their owner and second for tracking when Ashley has them out in the field.

They listen to Ashley 90% of the time! So that's good! Also they get a say in what gets stolen at times. Cat toys, treats, other things, Ashley finds its good training for her and her kittens!

What's the genetic make up? We don't know! Maybe bobcat? Lots of domestic? Prehistoric? Its Ashley who knows!!! She'd do anything to save her first kittens!

The looks are different than the show! I am using a picrew for these guys! Red eyes are only for fighting, but the blue and green are normal eye colors!

Blue eyes can still see, due to the eye color shifting! They aren't true blue eyed cats!

Episode two and we another cameo from one of my girls! 🐈🐱Katnappe is back!🐱🐈 Meow you’re talking! =^◕⩊◕^=

Jack and Ashley teamup! Even if they argue they're such good furiends! And she's so purr-suasive! She's so right, let's get this pawty started! With the right catitude, anything is pawsible! Back to their roots! Discard modernity, embrace tradition! Discard magical nonsense, embrace SCIENCE! Discard silly Shen Gong Wu hunts against some lame-o little monks, embrace ROBBING THE BRITISH MUSEUM! Of course at least one of the Shen Gong Wu ended up there! No matter how well Dashi and Dojo hid them, that was just inevitable! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣

But what are the odds that the Wu in the museum will activate as soon as Jack is trying to quit cold turkey on the Wu hunting? You've gotta be kitten me! 🙀

The monks were being paw-sitively adorable in their own little corner of the story! 😸 Omi is learning even more complicated, confusing, but fur-miliar lessons about good and evil like paw-lways! His enthusiastic cat-burglary is really taking meow-t! I enjoyed Dojo's tails about everything in there that used to belong to Dashi!

Katnappe pretending to flirt with Clay just to get her hands on the horn was hiss-terical! 😻😽 She thinks she had him wrapped around her whisker!

Katnappe thought she had that victory in the bag, litter-ally! But Clay was a fur-midable opponent and she underestimated him again! How un-fur-tunate for her! ⋆˚🐾˖° What a cat–astrophe that sneak attack turned out to be! And she's such a sourpuss about losing! 😾

Not exactly a fairy-tail ending for her 😿, but Jack and Katnappe still managed to make it out of the museum with a bunch of stolen goods, and tripped the alarm while the monks were still dragging their feet! So Jack and Katnappe's foray into their own type of evil instead of the Heylin stuff is going, so fur so good! 😹😹

Paw-some episode! I enjoyed every meowment! ≽ܫ≼

Honestly Katnappe is a fun character to explore! She’s so dynamic and fun~ she’s even more fun to throw into her proper element of being a thief!

It was fun to let the kids interact without any of the really villainous characters show up. Just a good-old teen-vs-teen low stakes fight~! Not to mention all of them were more than happy to play the thief in this instance!

Any Christmas headcanons for Xiaolin Showdown?

Raimundo’s family weren’t churchgoing people, but they still had a classic Brazilian Christmas celebration. It was always a huge party with how massive his family was. While the family in general did a secret Santa, Raimundo and his siblings all still looked forward to getting their gifts from Papai Noel.

Kimiko and her dad didn’t do the Santa thing, and to Kimiko Christmas has always been more of a couples celebration. It didn’t much matter anyway since her dad would basically buy her anything she wanted no matter what time of the year it was. But she and her dad and Keiko would enjoy getting together and eating all the Christmas cake and fried chicken they could eat.

Clay’s family were kinda churchgoers, but only in the sense they’d go on the most major of holidays like Easter and Christmas since it’s when the most people would gather in their neck of the woods. Daddy Bailey let Clay know when he was 12 that Santa wasn’t real, mostly on account of his mother. But they’d have a nice Christmas dinner and still have plenty of nice presents.

Omi isn’t very on the up and up of Christmas traditions, having been raised in a Buddhist temple. But once his friends introduced him to the concept and they explained their different traditions, he happily accepted being included in on the celebrations.

Jack’s parents usually used the holiday to shove a bunch of gifts at Jack and throw massive Christmas parties. Jack didn’t care much aside from the fact that it was a way for him to get plenty of electronics he could tinker with.

Ashley/Katnappe was kind of a classic brat and always gave her parents an inordinately long and expensive list of gifts ever since she was a kid. She basically always got all of it so long as she kept her grades up and she performed one mandatory family christmas piano recital.

Xiaolin Showdown - s01e04

Ooh, that makes so much sense! I always wondered how an incorporeal ghost was able to get that perfect cat-themed penthouse of Katnappe's dreams.

It would explain why Ashley went back to Shen Gong Wu hunting and even joined Jack's evil team later, even though you'd think she wouldn't bother with it anymore if she really finessed everything she wanted out of Wuya. Katnappe must have been so confused when it all just vanished after she ditched Wuya.

Wuya's Power

In the Xiaolin Showdown episode "Shard of Lightning", Wuya is coerced into giving Katnappe' a veritable luxury home of her in exchange for Shen Gong Wu.

Now, I've always wondered how Wuya was able to pull this off. She had never done anything like that as a ghost in the first season. Eventually I just shrugged it off as a plot hole typical in cartoons. But only recently did I realize that Wuya did use that power before. In "In The Flesh", when she crafted that illusion for Raimundo!

Everything in Katnappe''s dream house? It probably an illusion! Which means it probably vanished the minute Katnappe' quit Wuya.
