Sarwan Singh Pandher, coordinator of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Morcha, said that the BJP has staged a dharna for 3 hours on October 3 against the non-punishment of former Union Home Minister and his son Ashish Monu Mishra, the main accused. A nationwide train stop movement has been announced for the rest of the 12 demands, including the Lakhimpur Khiri incident.

Pandher said that trains will be stopped at about 30 places in 18 districts of Punjab. These include Batala, Tarn Taran town and Patti in district Gurdaspur, Tanda and Hoshiarpur Khas in Hoshiarpur, Fort Raipur and Sahnewal in Ludhiana, Phillaur and Lohia in Jalandhar, Talwandi Bhai, Mallanwal, Makhu, Guruharshay, Moga stations in Ferozepur district. 

Apart from Patiala station in Moga district, Malot in Muktsar, Hamira and Sultanpur in Kapurthala, Ahmedgarh Mandi in Sunam, Faridkot city in Faridkot, Rampura Phul in Bathinda district and Parmanand in Pathankot district, there are three places in Haryana, two places in Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu. And there will be protests in Madhya Pradesh too. While trains will be stopped at three places in UP.

Complaint Against Ranbir Kapoor for Religious Sensitivity

Advocates in Mumbai lodge a complaint citing hurt religious sentiments over a Christmas video involving intoxicants.

Two Mumbai advocates, Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra, have formally filed a complaint at the Ghatkopar police station against Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and his family. The complaint revolves around allegations of hurting religious sentiments and disrespecting "Sanatan Dharm" in connection with a Christmas celebration video.

The advocates' complaint centers on a viral video featuring Ranbir Kapoor at Kunal Kapoor's annual Christmas lunch. In the video, Zahan Kapoor pours wine over a Christmas cake while Ranbir Kapoor lights it up, exclaiming 'Jai Mata Di.' The advocates argue that the use of intoxicants prohibited in Hinduism during a Christmas celebration has offended their religious sentiments.

Advocates Rai and Mishra are seeking the registration of an FIR against Ranbir Kapoor under various sections, including 295 A (outraging religious feelings), 298 (wounding religious feelings), 500 (defamation), and 34 (common intention). The complaint emphasizes the potential impact on law and order due to the circulation of such videos.

The advocates contend that Kapoor and his family's deliberate actions during the Christmas celebration have hurt the religious sentiments of Sanatan Dharmis. The complaint raises concerns about the potential repercussions of such acts on communal harmony.

Despite the filed complaint, as of now, no FIR has been registered against the Kapoor family. The advocates await legal action in response to their allegations of religious insensitivity during the Christmas celebration.
