Couldn't decide whether to make it platonic or romantic, so took references from both dis aliter visum and the game has changed, where Reaper becomes the victor of the 10th games.

What is Schizoid Affective Disorder?  Schizoid Affective Disorder is a mental illness that is caused by a chemical imbalance inside of the brain just like Bipolar Disorder.  The symptoms of Schizoid Affective Disorder are mania, depressive symptoms, thinking that you are being controlled by someone or something, disorganized thinking and finally delusions.  I was first diagnosed with Schizoid Affective Disorder on Tuesday July 15, 1997 in Charlotte NC.  I remember taking Prednisone for a skin problem one month earlier.  I remember traveling to Charlotte NC on Sunday June 15, 1997.  I stayed at a hotel on South Tryon Street called the Ashcot Inn it was exactly one block from the Uptown Cabaret Night Club.  I do remember the temperature was 96 degrees outside in Charlotte NC.  I remember catching the cab to the hotel.  I ate a pizza and other junk food all day long.



Next, I stayed at another hotel on Monday June 16, 1997.  The hotel was called The Roadway Inn on West Trade Street.  I spent another night at the hotel and on Tuesday June 17, 1997, I walked to the Uptown Shelter and I stayed there for a total of 8 months.  The first few weeks, I slept on the floor until I was scheduled to get a bed on June 30, 1997.  I had to get up at 5:00am in the morning every single day for 8 months.  I had to walk a total of 9 miles to the Chemical Dependency Center located on Billingsley Road in Charlotte NC.  I remember being in the hospital for a total of 5 weeks.  I remember going to an Agency called the Access Project.  This agency helped me to get on Social Security.  I stayed with Access Project for 8 years.  My AA Sponsor name was Billy Godwin.  He was my Sponsor for a total of 15 years.  He was a Chemical Dependency Counselor for over 40 years.  I had a lot of fun down there by going to UNC- Charlotte for three years.  During the years, I was living at an apartment complex called Charlottetown Terrace Apartments located on Baxter Street in Charlotte NC.  I stayed there for almost three years.  I remember publishing my first book called The Best of Anthony Hopkins.  However I ran into a snag by dealing with two women at the same time.  I had to go back to Dayton, Ohio for an extended period of time.  I stayed with my sister for a few months.  I came back to Charlotte NC for a total of 10 years.  

Further, I came back to Charlotte NC for 10 years.  I remember working at UNC-Charlotte for a total of 8 years.  I lost my job because I was looking at porn online on my work computer.  Prior to that, I was working at UPS for a total of 4 months.  I remember my first paycheck someone stole it.  It took me at least one month just to get paid from the job.  I also worked at temporary Job services for a total of 8 months.  When I got the job at the library in Charlotte NC, I was happy for a total of 8 years.  Afterwards, I lost my job and I became homeless again.  This was also a time when I got scammed by some Africans and they swindled me out of $18,000 dollars in Western Union Funds.  I was also a victim of a pyramid scheme.  I worked so hard just to lose the money as soon as I got it.

Finally, I have been here in Dayton, Ohio for a total of 14 years now.  I published two more books called Essays and My Grace is Sufficient for Me.  The people who published my books is Authorhouse Publications in Bloomington Indiana.  My book is not selling right now.  I live in my apartment building called Wentworth Hi Rise Apartments located on Wentworth Avenue in Dayton, Ohio.  I have been living here for 13 years now.  I have been clean and sober for 33 years now.  I had to get honest and truthful with everyone about my personal recovery.  I have been Court Ordered to take medicine and attending my doctor's appointments each month.  I have been Court Ordered again to therapy and taking 38 pills per day for a lot of physical and mental ailments.  Recently I lost one of my Uncle's last year.  Uncle Johnnie Funeral was yesterday.  If I would have went to the funeral, I would have been fighting my own family members.  I found out that my father is a Caucasian male.  Therefore I am a Biracial Person.  The truth is I never knew my own father.  I was a product of infidelity.  My mother died with her secrets as well as my sister and grandmother.  I have been hearing voices for a total of 15 years now.  It hurts me to have a mental illness right now.  I also suffer from Alzheimer's and Schizophrenia as well as Andropause which is the male version of menopause.  I have been taking medication for a mental illness for almost 30 years now.  This is the reason why I am in need of prayers from everyone right now.  Thank you for reading my essay.

some things in the time-travelling Clemmie + Coryo unhinged AU because I realize there isn't much explanation, if any haha

Set post TBOSAS, maybe anywhere from their late University years to post University graduation.

Clemensia was never bitten this time, she and Reaper were considered victors for the 10th game - they have this odd, begrudging sort of alliance to friendship.

Coriolanus ends up an intern in the Ravinstill administration, courtesy of Gaul. He seeks out Gaul and impresses her far earlier than the 10th game.

Promising intern vs Pseudo- grandniece/granddaughter

Coryo is sort of Gaul's 'pawn' to keep Clemmie's influence on Max in check. In a way, you could argue it's Volumnia vs Hector, even if Hector is only haunting the narrative.

Because Clemmie gets a bit of leeway with the president, she doesn't have as much as Hector would have had, but enough that the adult Ravinstills are like 👀 👀. She gets away with as much as Felix (the clear favourite of his generation) does.

Max's policies flip between harsh and lenient depending on what is being addressed. Clemmie wants to improve health policies in the Capitol? Okay. Coryo has a plan to wipe 13 off the map for good? He's listening.

The adult Ravinstills worry about Clemmie's influence. Like Coryo is worrisome too, but interns can be fired. Clemmie, not quite the same. Curse the Dovecotes and their charm *shakes fist*

Someone plants the idea that given her influence, maybe Max plans to have her married off to Felix. And will use this excuse to name Felix as heir, which would bypass his uncles/aunts/parents/older cousins. It's illogical, but not impossible.

Given Felix's uninterest in family politics + politics in general, it would really mean Clemmie would be running things, and they will NOT stand for a Dovecote ruling over them. Also, what if Clemmie takes after her grandmother, Cleopatra, and her spouse mysteriously dies? Even more dangerous if it's after they have a kid, because then that kid will be next to be head of House Ravinstill while Clemmie runs things till the kid's majority.

Volumnia (maybe?) or someone suggests to limit that possibility, marry her off. What about Coriolanus? It's a favourable one, given their family names + their standings. Also, that way, even if Clemmie takes after her grandmother, then they'd just be getting rid of Coryo, who's another potential threat.

Coriolanus is probably all for the idea (possibly behind suggesting the idea as well? he does like her in this au.)

What does Max think of all this?

Given Clemmie's adamant confession about disliking Coryo, Max is suspicious of any attempt to have her married off to the blond.

He's like: we need to stop humouring the Snows' delusions.

Dovecotes famously marry for love, so Max is hesitant to arrange her marriage. And he's not really her grandfather/granduncle either, so he has no say in things.

Dovecote side of things:

Given Max's favouritism, Endymion & Aelia know that the President will have a say on 'approving' Clemmie's partner, regardless of lack of blood relation.

Max is adamant that he will see Hector's granddaughter happy + taken care of.

Pretend Ashcote? (With Reaper's permission ofc) She's running out of options and she's grown close enough to Reaper that she's terrified of Coryo turning his eye to him and killing him off. Coryo has probably insinuated the possibility before.

It throws a wrench into Max's plans when he asks her about her plans for the future.

Clemmie: I'm in love with Reaper Ash. Max, with some dread: His name sounds familiar... Clemmie: He was the victor of the 10th games. Max: *spiralling* (why does it always leads back to D11?)

Some fun questions to consider:

Does Clemmie have to commit to the bit and marry Reaper, on the wild off-chance that Max is like: ...sure, if he makes you happy.

Does Coryo commit to his affections (idk what to call it, his obsession?) and decide to take action so he can have her? ie. kill Reaper? kill Max? threaten her into compliance?

Should Clemmie kill Coryo?

Or does he kill her in some highly-twisted idea of if he can't have her, then nobody can?

a silly little ashcote idea came to mind - this is inspired by the myth where Theseus and his friend, Pirithious, travel to the underworld because they decided they wanted to marry daughters of Zeus, and Pirithious decided that he wanted to marry Persephone.

So imagine 2 foolish adventurers who've made that treacherous journey to the underworld, hoping to rescue the abducted goddess of spring from the cruel god that keeps her hostage. And lo-and-behold, they've found the goddess!

Well, it's actually Clemensia.

She's a bit annoyed at these two visitors showing up. And when they clarify they're looking for the goddess and what exactly they're here for, she explains that they've mistaken her for someone else. But she promises to direct said-diety to them. How nice, right?

Except it's not a goddess that returns with her, it's Reaper, who's irritable that he has to deal with this.

If you ask Reaper, Clemmie could have easily dealt with these intruders, given that the underworld is her domain. Instead, he tells them that he's uninterested in marrying either of them.

Clemmie watches in the background, giggling at Reaper's annoyance.

The two adventures think they're lying - and just maybe they get a bit too impolite with their words when Reaper tells them to leave.

And well, being impolite to the gods isn't very clever - maybe there's some smiting, or the 2 are tossed out of the underworld.

Bonus things:

Role-wise: Clemensia is the ruler of the underworld and essentially has the same titles as Hades would, while Reaper is Persephone's equivalent in terms of titles

Mortals tend to assume their roles are reversed - (1) bias, (2) a silly moment between the 2 from a millennia back that accidentally gave people the impression that Clemensia got abducted by Reaper into the Underworld.

Reaper and Clemmie properly meet (in the labs) + vampire snakes (because you know Volumnia would for funsies)

Also we're cherry picking movie + book canon. Clemmie's book personality. But Reaper's movie 'death' and how Clemmie never reappears in the movie ever again.

And Reaper doesn't die from the venom. So when they transport his body following whatever procedure the Capitol has post-games, they realize he's alive.

"Off to the lab then, he's presumed dead anyways. Nobody will miss him." - Volumnia, probably

By a twist of luck, the only two to have survived the snakes: Clemmie via antidote - a very experimental one that had a low chance of working, and Reaper via whatever genetic quirk he might have. Maybe the snake venom killed out the rabies in his veins too.

Though they did not get along (pre-games), things change when you're both test subjects for Gaul and her team. From reluctant allies to "stars, did you just kill her?"/"well I wasn't going to let her kill you!"

Might make a part 2 to this, because this got a bit long....

Hmm, let me see....

Their first meetings are never that great. If it doesn't swerve into hostile territory, definitely some thoughts of how strange the other is.

I like to imagine them needing a bit more time to warm to each other.

When they do warm up to each other, their dynamic is pretty fun, comfortable enough with teasing one another.

Reaper: You're strange (affectionate) Clemmie: Thanks!

Reaper has thoughts about some of her friends - particularly that blond. No idea why Clemmie would willingly associate with Snow.

Pretty fond of the idea of artist Reaper and her as his muse! Especially in AUs where she's been bitten. And she'll sit for hours, for his art.

Headcanons that lean more on the romantic side:

Reaper's usually the oblivious one about his feelings. He hasn't made the connection that a certain amount of fondness of her, means he probably likes her more than a friend.

But if you ask anyone else, they've known for some time now.

Just a fun thing I like to add, Clemmie's schemes often spawn from Felix and Iphigenia's 'advice'. Results don't go to plan and Clemmie usually later regrets listening to her friends.

Because Reaper is also a bit more rational, which backfires with Clemmie's schemes attempts at getting his attention. As you can guess, Clemmie is a bit more aware of things.

surviving the snake bite has consequences

part 2 because this got a lot longer than I first imagined

Combination of book and movie canon, but essentially Clemensia and Reaper survive bitten by snakes.

Potential quirks:

** Reaper tends to have a stronger version for most of these due to him being by more snakes than Clemensia did

colourful scales (temporary, or so Clemmie hopes. Reaper called her vain and instantly regretted it when she burst into tears.)

sensitive to smells

enhanced healing, faster reflexes

take a long time to blink - for some reason it's creepier when Clemmie does it when compared to Reaper.

poison immunity to most poisons (don't ask how they found out. really. don't.)

developed a fondness for... (1) rare/nearly raw red meat (2) blood - more so for Reaper than Clemmie.

on the topic of blood, Reaper prefers Clemmie's blood. Maybe it's the venom in her veins, but it's more appetizing to him. Or so he says.

a cooler body temperature. But whereas Reaper's body seems to have adjusted to function fine at a lower set point, Clemmie's has not. If she's cold, she needs to warm up somehow.

✨ sparkle✨ - well not exactly. Once the scales eventually fall off (months down the road) they leave behind a silvery outline on their skin. And if the lights hit those scars at the right angle, it seems to sparkle.

Post Escape from the lab, our duo has to decide whether to: (a) split up (b) go to 11 (c) find Clemmie's parents.

Her parents accidentally stumble upon them before they can decide between option (b) and (c).

Get convinced to follow them to the Dovecote home, where with some encouragement from Reaper, she admits where she'd really been.

Parents are appropriately horrified.

A bit of politicking. As far as everyone knows - Clemensia is still in the hospital.

Volumnia wasn't stupid enough to have evidence about Clemmie being in the labs, or Reaper being alive. Ultimately this is a weak point Endymion exploits.

So far as anyone knows, Clemmie is in the countryside (11) recuperating from her illness with a very nice, polite young man (Reaper) that Endymion hired to protect her should the need arise.

Endymion convinces threatens some doctors to saying Clemmie is discharged and some rest out of the city would be good.

Reaper gets a new identity because for all everyone knows, he's dead. (Reaper is also a little scared by Endymion's effectiveness. His documents just appeared on the dinner table one day, and that was that. He's fairly sure her father has some sort of connections.)

Clemmie and Reaper are very well behaved in D11 (totally not wrecking havoc at night. Or convincing the peacekeepers and any wrongdoers that they are some shape shifting demon from D11 lore come to life)

Don't think Coriolanus is getting off easy here though. On the bright side, Sejanus is probably saved from his fate.

Slight context: Max is still president, Snow is dead (courtesy of Reaper) and Clemmie is SMITTEN

Her love with the victor of the 10th games is a ploy. That much Maximinius knows, he's seen the slight hesitation before they lean in to one another. The way their eyes dart to others, as if trying to see if they had succeeded in their ploy to deter her other suitors, chiefly Snow.

What a silly child... Had he not promised that he would keep Snow's delusions from becoming reality?

But these days, Maximinius was unsure whether that ploy continued to be –

"Yes?" Interrupted out of his musings, he glanced over to the door to see who had knocked.

"Uncle Magnus, are you busy? I have a question if it's no bother."

"Come in."

As Clemensia slipped into his office, there was an air about her today that he couldn't quite pinpoint why it seemed familiar.

"Yes?"

"Uncle, I have a question about marriage."

Maximinius coughed in surprise.

Before he could suggest that she ask her parents for such advice, she continued, "Hypothetically speaking, do you know if there's any legal forms I have to fill out if I were to marry someone from the Districts?"

"Marry?" Was this to who he thought it was?

"Marry," she confirms. It was then he realized that she had the same besotted sort of look in her eyes as Hector had whenever he spoke of Cleopatra.

"I'll look into it," is all he can say at the moment, despite already knowing the answer to her question.

Watching her leave his office, Maximinius faintly wondered if he needed to tighten security in the Capitol tonight, should the silly child decide that she'd elope instead of waiting for his answer.
